Card 07 - London Gardens in London, October 13, 2024

Jerry Brisco defeated Wild Bill White. Brisco took control after Morgan Dollar called for the bell but White was able to cheat and brawl his way into control. Twice Brisco kicked out after a RUNNING POWER SLAM back to back. Brisco was able to counter attack and then used a FIGURE FOR LEGLOCK to nearly get the submission by White made the ropes. Brisco went back to his finisher a second time and it was enough for the win after just over eight and half minutes. **

Yukon Eric downed Blackjack Mulligan by disqualification after four and half minutes of action. Mulligan and Eric trades blows and whips into the corner after Morgan Dollar gave both men strict instructions before the bell. The action spilled to the floor and Mulligan smashed Eric with a chair and referee called for the bell. DUD

Killer Bees beat Dream Team with Johnny Valiant. B. Brian Blair & Brutus Beefcake started things off. Blair rebounded Beefcake into a backdrop and then locked in a SLEEPER for the win (Snake Eyes!) after just under two minutes. DUD

Commonwealth Champion Austin Idol downed Billy Wicks in a Proving Ground Match with a LAS VEGAS LEGLOCK. Morgan Dollar is making the three count for the fourth straight bout. Idol attacks before the bell but Wicks is ready and Idol’s face gets bounced off the ringside table before the bell! Wicks and Idol go back and forth trading moves and counters evenly. Idol begins to overpower with clotheslines and jumping knee smashes. Wicks cannot find a counter before Idol traps him in his finisher and gets the submission after just over six and half minutes. * ½

Too Cool defeated Danny Doring & Amish Roadkill. James Beard is the referee as Brian Christopher gets after Doring who gives away to Roadkill. Roadkill struggles with the speed of both of his opponents. Christopher gets a two count after a standing leg drop and then Taylor drops Roadkill with a superkick for the win (snake eyes!) after just over four minutes. * ½

Harley Race bested Wilbur Synder. Dick Woehrle was in charge of the action as both men came together and exchanged counters. Synder took over and pressed the attack using his slight agility advantage to counter Race’s attack. Race was able to land a deathjump smash from the top to take over. Snyder kicked out after a VERTICAL SUPLEX but Race just never let up his attack until he planted Snyder with a PILEDRIVER after just over nine minutes. **

In a No Holds Barred Match, Baron Von Raschke downed Sam Houston after just over eighteen minutes of action. James Beard was the referee and Von Raschke took the match to the floor after overpowering Houston early on. Houston managed to take a chair away from Von Raschke and dropped Von Raschke with the weapon busting him wide open. Houston took over the match and Von Raschke bled buckets. Houston hit a BULLDOG but could not get the three count. Von Raschke powered back and managed to slow the pace down. During another brawl on the floor, Houston countered a BRAIN CLAW with a kick below the belt! However, Houston could not maintain any real momentum. Von Raschke took it with a backbreaker drop onto the knee. ***

Canadian Heavyweight Champion Vampiro defeated Terry Gordy. Vampiro started quickly under the watch of Morgan Dollar picking up four near falls in the opening moments with a superkick, power bomb, top rope spin kick and another superkick. Gordy looked like he would not last much longer but he managed to counter an attack on the floor running Vampiro into the ring post. Vampiro was busted open and Gordy began an impressive comeback. AN ORIENTAL SPIKE slowed things down and nearly submitted the champion. Vampiro came back and used a top rope spin kick for another near fall. Gordy power back into control but a POWER BOMB did not get the three count. It was back and forth right up until the finish when Vampiro connected with back to back uranage to retain after just over eighteen minutes. *****

Canadian Heavyweight Champion Vampiro continues to be on an impressive run as champion turning back the challenge of Terry Gordy . . . Baron Von Raschke and Sam Houston went to war tonight with Von Raschke coming away with the win but things between these two still feel unfinished and the two will clash in a Bullrope match on the upcoming event in Ottawa on November 3rd.

Up next, we head to the Garden City Arena in St. Catharines for an action packed night featuring a defence of the Commonwealth Title:
* After both scoring impressive victories tonight, a special tag team encounter has been signed for St. Catharines as the Killer Bees will step into the ring against Too Cool. Management will be watching this encounter closely as both teams are beginning to make noise about a potential title opportunity.
* Harley Race is on a quest to earn a further opportunity at the Canadian Heavyweight Title and his next opponent is the individual who most recently challenged for the title, Terry Gordy. This battle of two strong style legends should be intense and should Race come away with the victory, denying Race another shot at the gold might be difficult.
* The feud between Koko B. Ware and “Handsome” Jimmy Valiant will continue in St. Catharines after the two battled in a bloody and violent encounter in Oshawa. Valiant came away with the win on the that night and will be looking to finally put the challenge of the Birdman behind him. Ware has told everyone that he is confident of victory with all the fans behind him.
* In a rematch from Hamilton, Wilder Synder, will be looking to get back on track after his loss tonight but he will face the tough challenge of Great Gama. Synder came away with a count-out victory the last time the two met in the ring and Synder will be looking for a clean victory.
* Commonwealth Champion Austin Idol will be back in action for the second straight card as he puts his title on the line against the always dangerous Danny Hodge.

Card 08 - Garden City Arena in St. Catharines, October 20, 2024

Disco Inferno defeated Ric McCord after 10 minutes. McCord struggled to get going after Morgan Dollar called for the bell despite the fans best efforts to get behind him. Inferno dominated and used a LAST DANCE but could not get the win. McCord counters a second LAST DANCE but McCord kept pressing the attack and his finisher successfully for the three count. * ½

William Muldoon downed Brickhouse Brown with a BODY LIFT & THROW. Muldoon and Brown started to trade moves and counters after Morgan Dollar started the match. Muldoon gets the upper hand with a sold scientific attack. A series of hammerlock & ½ nelson holds wear down Brown. A double shoulder lock near gets the submission. Brown manages to kick out of several covers before Muldoon uses his finisher for the victory. * ½

Jerry Brisco & Billy Wicks bested Dream Team w/Johnny Valiant. This was back and forth with both teams having moments under control. Double tackles kept Brutus Beefcake & Greg Valentine on the defensive but neither Wicks and Brisco could find a way to get shoulders to the mat. Valentine & Beefcake used defensive tags until Valentine whipped Wicks into the corner and Wicks avoided the charge and the rolls up Valentine for the sudden three count after nearly 14 minutes. **

Commonwealth Champion Austin Idol retained against Danny Hodge. Dick Woehrle was in charge of the action. Idol took over after running Hodge into the ring post shoulder first. Hodge kicked out after a piledriver before mounting a counter wrestling comeback. Hodge used an OKLAHOMA SIDE ROLL for a two count. Idol was able to use his power to again get control of the action after both men exchanged near falls. Clotheslines and punches punished Hodge. Hodge came back with a Boston Crab and Deathlock but Idol managed to come back and take the win after a LAS VEGAS LEGLOCK. ***

“Handsome” Jimmy Valiant dominated Koko B. Ware. The fans were behind Ware but Valiant was all business and brawled his away into control. Ware survived an early SUPER ELBOW but could not get any offense going before Valiant landed a second SUPER ELBOW for three count from Morgan Dollar after just over five minutes. *

Killer Bees bested Too Cool by count-out. Joey Marella watched the two sides exchange handshakes and then get to work. The Bees used double teaming to get the upper hand and get out of trouble multiple times. Scott Taylor gets cut off from his corner but kicks out after a BEE STING. The action ends of up the floor when Jim Brunzell trading blows with Taylor. Taylor ducks a blow on the apron and backdrops Brunzell into the ring just as Marella reaches the ten count giving the Bees the win after just over seventeen and half minutes. ***

Great Gama pinned Wilbur Synder with a GAMA THROW [Vintage Charts]. Snyder and Gama started with a handshake and then went to work. Joey Marella watched as both men exchanged counters. Gama used a GAMA THROW to score an early fall. Synder was able to counter attack and have moments in control. Gama was able to keep out of real trouble however and scored several near falls before a second GAMA THROW ended it after just under fifteen minutes. ***

Harley Race bested Terry Gordy by disqualification after just over thirteen minutes. Joey Marella capped off a business night by officiating the main event. Race and Gordy clashes and neither man gave an inch early on until Race was able to break through and attack the lower back of Gordy. Backbreakers and a VERTICAL SUPLEX only resulted in two counts. Gordy came back after running Race into the ring post busting him open. Race kicked out after a PILEDRIVER and POWERBOMB. An ORIETNAL SPIKE nearly ended it but Race made the ropes to stay alive. It was back and forth when Race escaped to the floor. Gordy followed and cracked Race across the back with chair and Marella called for the disqualification. ****

Commonwealth Champion Austin Idol turns back the challenge of Danny Hodge and will await his next challenger on November 10 in Cornwall . . . Harley Race edges out Terry Gordy in a battle of top contenders but there is cleary more to come between these two after the inconclusive finish . . . Billy Wicks and Jerry Brisco made an impressive debut as a tag team. It remains to be seen if they will continue their partnership. . . .

Up next, action from the Barrie Arena including a Street Fight Main Event:
* Canadian Open Tag Team Champions Road Warriors will be looking to finally put the challenge of the Pitbulls behind them when the two teams clash in a Street Fight with the titles on the line. After two disqualification finishes in row between the two teams, something will have to give as two teams will come into Barrie and only one will leave with the belts around their wastes
* On October 13, 2024 in London, a chair become involved in the bout between Blackjack Mulligan & Yukon Eric leaving Eric down in a heap but with a disqualification victory. Eric will be looking for some payback when he gets back into the ring with the big Texan that is sure to a hard hitting battle from start to finish.
* Too Cool came up short tonight against the Killer Bees but will be looking to take home the winner’s purse in Barrie when the battle another team who lost tonight, The Dream Team. Too Cool already has a win over the Dream Team earlier this month in Kingston. Will Johnny Valiant be able to lead Greg Valentine & Brutus Beefcake or will the Dream Team again fall to the popular pairing of Scott Taylor & Brian Christopher?
* A highly anticipated scientific encounter will be part of the undercard when Danny Hodge steps into the ring with William Muldoon. Both men are masters of holds and counters. Hodge is coming off his loss tonight and Muldoon is looking to move into a title opportunity of his own. This should be a classic.
* Harley Race continues to position himself as a top contender to the Canadian Heavyweight Title after his win tonight and will step into the ring against the always dangerous Baron Von Raschke.

Card 09 - Arena in Barrie, October 27, 2024

Sam Houston came back to defeat Wild Bill White after thirteen minutes. Houston had the fans behind him and he responded by controlling the match including a BULLDOG. White turned the tables running Houston into the ring post. White worked over a bloody Houston for several minutes but could not put away the competitor from Waco, Texas. Houston stormed back and landed a BULLDOG for the pin from Morgan Dollar. ** ½

Brickhouse Brown & Koko B. Ware dominated Danny Doring & Amish Roadkill in just over three and half minutes. Roadkill was not able to tag out and Ware finished him with a BRAINBUSTER while Brown cut off the pin save. DUD

Billy Wicks bested “Handsome” Jimmy Valiant with a waistlock suplex. Wicks used a solid scientific attack to frustrate Valiant after Morgan Dollar, officiating his third straight match, gave strict instruction to both competitors before bell. Wicks showed he can mix it up as well when he strips a chair from Valiant during a brawl on the floor and then smashed Valiant with the weapon. Wicks controls and uses several abdominal stretches to wear out Valiant before getting the pin after just over seven minutes. **

Baron Von Raschke stunned Harley Race by disqualification when Race shoved referee Morgan Dollar aside during a brawl on the floor. Race struggled to get something going but Von Raschke frustrates with his brawling. Things spill outside and ends after just four minutes. *

The Dream Team w/Johnny Valiant outlasted Too Cool in an epic, bloody tag team battle. It was back and forth from the opening bell. Both sides were able to make key defensive tags and keep the momentum changing. Valentine looked to have the match won with a FIGURE FOUR LEGLOCK on Taylor mid way through the match but Taylor made the ropes after the save was blocked. A bloodied Taylor thrilled the fans with a THE WORM but could not get the pin. It was back and forth heading into the finish. Valentine looked to have the match won again with a FIGURE FOUR LEGLOCK on Taylor but Christopher made the save. Beefcake tagged in and used a backbreaker drop to end it after thirty minutes. **** ½

In a short, violent, and bloody match, Blackjack Mulligan bested Yukon Eric. Morgan Dollar called for the bell and this was a non-stop brawl that spilled in and out of the ring. Both men were busted open when Mulligan crushed Eric with a lariat to get the win after just under four minutes. **

William Muldoon downed Danny Hodge by disqualification in just under ten minutes [Vintage Charts]. Morgan Dollar continued his busy night as the competitors exchanged handshakes and went to work. Muldoon was impressive early using multiple hammerlock & ½ nelson moves to punish Hodge. Muldoon could not finish off Hodge before Hodge came back with a OKLAHOMA SIDE ROLL for a near fall. Hodge began to press the attack but Mulldoon came back. Hodge countered a charge to the corner with a backdrop to the floor and the bell sounded as the referee left the dump to the floor was sportsman like. The fans are not impressed. **

In a Barrie Street Fight, Canadian Open Tag Team Champions Road Warriors w/ Paul Ellering defeated Pitbulls w/Francine after 15 minutes of action. The match immediately went to the floor and a wild chair shot misses Pitbull #2 and cracks Morgan Dollar who is down and out for some time (seven moves!). Dollar recovers with the challengers in control. Pitbulls connect with SUPER BOMB on Animal but Hawk makes the save. Hawk leads the champions back into the match. A double clothesline on Pitbull #2 and sets up the DOOMSDAY DEVICE for the win. ***

A wild night of action ends with the Road Warriors walking out of Barrie with the Canadian Open Tag Team titles still around their waists. Danny Hodge, Harley Race and Too Cool were all frustrated in the back after their bouts while Yukon Eric and Blackjack Mulligan had to be patched up.
Up next, we head to the Capital of Canada, Ottawa, Ontario, for a stacked card of action including Vampiro putting his Canadian Heavyweight Title on the line in the main event and a Bull Rope Match!
* Ric McCord tests his skills against Danny Hodge in battle of light heavyweights.
* “Handsome” Jimmy Valiant will be back in action and steps into the ring with the popular Willbur Synder

* The feud between Baron Von Raschke and Sam Houston comes to a conclusion in Ottawa when the two clash in a Bull Rope Match!
* William Muldoon came away with a fortunate victory tonight but the controversial decision was enough to push Muldoon to the top of the contenders list and he will face Canadian Heavyweight Champion Vampiro with a chance to capture the title.
