Brody and Hansen cut their way ringside with a chain, bull rope and cowbell. Gordy and Williams were more than ready for their entrance and Morgan Dollar knew he had his hands full. Brody and Gordy hoss it up. Bruiser Backbreaker to Gordy. “Dr. Death” tags in. Fireman’s carry downs Brody. Whip to the corner and charge . . . Backdrop sends Williams crashing to the floor! Four way brawl all over ringside! Brody smashes Williams from the top of the corner. Hansen tags in . . . LARIAT. 1, 2, kick out (R7/P4). Hansen with snap mare into sleeper. Williams escapes. Gordy in. Hansen rebounded off ropes. Backdrop . . . countered with piledriver. Hansen drops a knee without the pad. Headbutt . . . no sell! Lariat from Gordy! ORIENTAL SPIKE. Clash of the Masked Men – The Destroyer v. The Spoiler

They trade counters after Morgan Dollar calls for the bell. Spoiler takes over with drop kicks and elbow drops. Kick in the corner connects. Destroyer eats a back elbow. Destroyer reverses a whip to the corner. Spoiler blocks the charge with a knee to the chest. Knee lift drops Destroyer for a very quick 2 ¾ count! (R4/P3). All Spoiler. Knee smashes off the ropes. Misses! Leg scissors from Destroyer . . . countered. Destroyer off the ropes . . . backdrop countered with a piledriver. Bombs Away . . . on target! Destroyer has control for the first time. Handstand knee drops. Backbreaker. More handstand knee drops. Destroyer to the top . . . slammed to the mat! Destroyer whipped into the corner . . . rebounds out with a clothesline! Bow and arrow. Spoiler hangs on (R7/P5). Working the back. Destroyer with an airplane spin and handstand knee drops. Pair of backbreakers. Destroyer to the top again . . . Bombs Away. Undisputed Tag Team Championship – Road Warriors v. Fabulous Kangaroos

Morgan Dollar takes control of the match before the bell and sends the managers to the back. Neither team is pleased but the bell rings. Animal controls against Roy Hefferman. Both sides make tags. Al Costello uses a sleeperhold to slow down Hawk. Animal is in. Bearhug attempt is countered. Double team pummel from The Kangaroos. Leaping chest attack from Hefferman catches Animal for a two count (R5/P2). STEPOVER TOEHOLD to Animal. Animal kicks free (R8/P3). Surfboard punishes the Road Warrior. Costello tags and sends Animal into the ropes. Animal rebounds with flying tackle. Animal whips Costello into the corner . . . COLLISION! Animal is up first. Boot to the midsection. Hawk in with a dropkick. Double clothesline to Costello. Cannot get the tag. Animal tosses Costello. Animal with a boot to midsection and scoop slam. Hawk in with vertical suplex. Costello bails. Hawk is out. Costello bounces Hawk’s head off the ringside table. Heffernan back into the match. STEPOVER TOEHOLD traps Hawk. Hawk makes the ropes (R5/P2). Kangaroos Kicks and leading chest attack. Hawk rolls to the floor. Heffernan comes out after Hawk. CHAIR ACROSS THE BACK! HEAT! BOOMERANG. 1, 2, Animal breaks up the cover! Marble Bor Leglock. Hawk again rolls to the floor. Back in the ring. World Title round-robin tournament to decide the undisputed Champion of the World - Nick Bockwinkel v. Lou Thesz v. Bruno Sammartino

Gary Michael Cappetta is with special guest Jim Ross in the ring and informs the fans that the order of the matches in the round robin tournament will be drawn at random. Ross reaches into the bowl and pulls out Bruno Sammartino’s name first. Ross then draws Lou Thesz! Nick Bockwinkel gets the first round bye and Bobby Heenan could not be happier!

Sammartino and Thesz remain in the ring while Heenan leads Bockwinkel to the back. Ross makes his way to the commentary table and Dick Woehrle gives both competitors instructions. Handshake at the bell. Both men miss early moves but Thesz lands a series of punches to the ribs. Thesz whips Sammartino into the corner and lands a kick. Airplane spin. Hooks the leg 1, kick out (R6/P2). GRECO-ROMAN BACKDROP. ONE COUNT ONLY (R12/P5). Thesz works the arm and wrist. Short arm scissors. Sammartino bails to the floor. Back inside before the ten. GRECO-ROMAN BACKDROP. 1, 2, 3 (R5/P6). Thesz takes the first match with little resistance! The fans are stunned!

The “weasel” chant is alive and well in New York City. Joey Marella seems very concerned with “The Brain” at ringside. Bockwinkel sends Thesz into the corner early . . . charge is blocked with a knee to chest. Punch to ribs sets up dropkicks. Cover for one (R7/P2). Thesz works the wrist and then connects with more dropkicks. Bockwinkel connects with a dropkick of his own. Bockwinkel goes to work on the lower body. Thesz counters a hip toss and lands dropicks. Back to the wrist. Dropkicks. Thesz covers. 1, 2, FOOT ON THE ROPE/3. (R3/P3 – SNAKE EYES + JOEY MARELLA MODIFIER) It is mayhem. Gary Michael Cappetta announces Thesz the winner and the Undisputed Champion of the World. Heenan, Bockwinkel and ringside are not pleased!
