IB and I lost our cat of 18 years overnight. Last night was rough as she was barely able to talk and wasn't eating or drinking. RIP sweetie.

Condolences. My oldest is 15 and it's hard knowing that day will come. 18 good years is something to appreciate and celebrate though.

Troy, I am sorry to hear your cat died.
This weekend will be the two year mark of my cat Candice dying from diabetes at the age of 15 1/2. It took me 6 1/2 months to grieve but then I got my new cat Ahsoka who is still just 1 years old.

sorry for your loss. i understand the feeling. the friday evening of GalactiCon i had to put my 20 year old cat to sleep. its heartbreaking. worst part is seeing her brother start the decline and knowing its coming.
