Hey gang - when it comes to LOW, what is the cut off weight for a junior heavyweight/cruiserweight division? I can't find an accurate answer on this, and could use some help. Thanks!

If I am remembering correctly the 1978 NWA handbook (yes, there was such a thing) said 205 was the cut off point. It is 220 in Japan who mostly still holds to the weight classes. I think the Mid Heavyweight in UK was 209. Mexico has fluctuated over the years, going anywhere from 190 to 230.
So bottom line, it is up to you. lol

I find that using 230 works fine.........their are some things that make it difficult (the early wrestlers like Gotch were so light.......but feel like they should be treated has heavyweights)..........for the most part ignoring pre and post? drug testing, as well as olde time wrerstlers........230 seems to put the Right people in the class...
and remember the late great Buddy Rose was only 217 lb. ;D

I've set my fed limit to 220lbs. I came to this decision simply because there are three cards that have stats adjustment when taking on junior heavyweights (Danny Hodge, Jushin Liger & Tiger Mask) and the heaviest man is 220lbs.
If your fed is low on junior heavyweights, the LOTF sets have plenty.

Mine is also at 220lbs. Any guys who are out by only a few pounds I will allow the chance for the belt as I see them cutting weight to enter the division.

Mine is 230. Allows for more wrestlers in the Junior Heavyweight Division. Like CPB, if a guy is close on weight I will envision he will cut weight in order to compete.
I take a broader look at the type of wrestlers I let compete for the Junior Heavyweight title. Right now Gotch is my Champ, and I include Stevens and Rogers to compete in addition to the usual suspects like Tiger Mask and Danny Hodge.

When the card for Danny Hodge, the first LOW wrestler with both heavyweight along with some crusierweight stats, was released in Legends fever the handbook said something like, since different territories had their own different weight limits, it's really your personal call for how you what to define your junior heavyweight division in terms of weight limits.
I generally use 230lbs but don't include top wrestlers such as Inoki, etc in the junior heavyweight division regardless of their actual weight.

Having considered the sage opinions of my peers and online research into weight classes throughout the history of the National Wrestling Alliance, I have decided to set my Cruiserweight division maximum weight at 220 pounds. Thanks everyone!

I use 240lbs just to keep guys like Bill Red Lyons (232), Bob Armstrong (235) and the Midnight Express in the hunt for the title.
I don't have guys like Gotch or Rogers in the division though
