Really enjoyed Collector and his gimmick. It's a shame it didn't really go further. Had fun with Quasar/Dragonmaster/Pulsar Prime in trios action for several sets.

I always have a soft spot for 2093, as it was the newest edition when I bought the game in July 1991. My GWF fed started in 2093, so its one of the ones I am most familiar with. I also ran a big tournament with this set (shocker I know). It was a team challenge War Games tournament that had 2 singles and 1 tag per team. There would be head to head matches bwtween each team with the top singles, secondary singles and tag teams facing off and the survivors fighting in an elimination match. The winning team would get points depending on how well they did in the matches, with the top teams making the playoffs. I believe the 3rd Force won the tournament, but not sure.
Also I loved Bill Laimbeer's Combat Basketball and thats what I always imagined Gravity Ball was too!

Love hearing the reviews of the old sets and your reactions from when they first came out.
Alpha Force was my longest reigning Galaxian champion. Loved that guy!
This next one will be sentimental for me as I got the Storm the Ring and Brawl offer as a Christmas present right after 2094 was released.

Nice plug for Bill Laimbeer's Combat Basketball, definitely was not on my BINGO card to popping up. I always pictured Gravity ball as a sort of cross between Jai Alai(w/o the cesta) and Rugby to really play into more of an agile Rugby that Titans preferred to keep the ball moving around the field.

I love hearing from people about when they joined the community and picked up COTG! This is part of the reason that I wanted to start the Uncharted Territory Podcast; to remember the nostalgia that so many of us have from a fun part of our lives, no matter when that time took place! Thanks for commenting!

Like I mentioned to the BMack, hearing about people's entry points is very cool! Thanks for sharing and commenting!

I always pictured Gravity Ball as cross between Roller Derby and Rugby. Very few on here probably remember this movie gem.
