While running my latest show and after reading some of the threads here, I got this idea for a question and with no better place to ask it since I have no idea when our next get together might be
Zeke, what would be your top 8 or so cards to update if you were allowed?

Could easily list 8 or 18 women's cards that would be great to update. Most won't happen because of WWE/AEW ties.

Zeke, what would be your top 8 or so cards to update if you were allowed? thank you for the question Troy! long day at work and I am about to leave to see the new Joker movie and make my weekend bets on the NFL, so I will have to post my full lists later as I will do 1 list of 8 AEW/WWE names and 1 list of 8 non-AEW/WWE names. But for now here are some clues as to who is my #1 overall personal choice for an update (and NOT who needs an update the most as that is not what is being asked here:) 1. my favorite wrestler in the game with an official Indie card (but I did not work on an official card for him) 2. perhaps even more than stats, this wrestler needs an update in art as IMO he is almost unrecognizable with his card art #2 on my list is Will Ospreay. I will have to post my full lists of 8 later either tomorrow night (after I go IPad shopping after work) or this weekend. |

OK, who I would personally choose to update (and not who needs an uodate the most as that is not what is being asked here) although I reserve the right to change my mind (for example in case I am forgetting somebody:) general Indies1. Austin Aries since his color card got released in 2013, look at the accolades he earned since just in TNA alone and he also spent notable time in WWE since his color card was released2. Mike Draztik 3. Lio Rush 4. Joey Janela 5. Rich Swann 6. Matt Tremont 7. Flip Gordon 8. Moose since his color ROH card was released, he has become a 2-time TNA World Champion and an Impact Champion, I also need to put him on my list here due to his recent losses to Dragon Dragon and Gary Jay in my fed honorable mention: Tracy Williams women: Delmi Exo seriously needs an update, she is a recent former MLW Women's World Featherweight Champion AND a recent former wXw Women's World Champion and yet she has no singles finisher on her card obviously, Alexander Hammerstone would have been very high on that above list but he is getting his much-deserved update in the FSW set AEW/WWE names1. Jon Moxley my personal favorite wrstler with an offical Indie card, in addition to his move set and card strength, he needs better art which would accompany an updated statted card2. Will Ospreay I have been wanting to do an updated Will Ospreay for years. There was some talk last year between me and Todd of Ospreay headlining this year's/2024's Best of the Indies in the unlikely event he was a free agent at the time of production, but it obviously quickly became a moot point when he signed with AEW at Full Gear 2023 even before his NJPW contract expired.3. Shaun Ricker a former 2-time FSW Heavyweight Champion, "Yeah!," obviously very high on my personal list4. MJF 5. Jay White 6. Darby Allin 7. Daniel Garcia (the current PWG World Champion) 8. Punishment Martinez honorable mention: Orange Cassidy, Ricky Starks, Sammy Guevara, Brian Cage women: Davina Rose (arguably the most needed Indie update,) Britt Baker, Athena, Willow Nightingale |

I would agree with those choices as well Vegas. I would also like to see Eddie Kingston get an updated card at some point. Brent Albright is one I would like to see get a colour card of but not sure if that is possible.

I think I had written almost all of these names down as possibilities when this thread was first posted.
My personal top eight for the AEW/WWE names is:
1) Will Ospreay - He is absolutely the card I would do anything for an update of.
2) Athena
3) Jay White
4) Tommy End
5) Jon Moxley
6) Davina Rose
7) MJF
8) Swerve Strickland
The general indies list
