IndiCon '25 is shaping up to be an amazing event! the event is in Auburn, Indiana on April 4-6, 2025. We are happy to meet early arrivals for game play and game talk in the hotel lobby or elsewhere.
We now have the link for the hotel: group.trubyhilton.com/gm5s6e
This is for the Tru by Hilton in Auburn, Indiana and it is for the evenings of April 4 and 5, 2025. However, if you want to arrive early, I think the rate right now is still $99, which is comparably great when you look at hotels nationwide. it really is a neat hotel with approximately 20 tables and a poll table in the lobby - all available to us all day and night for game play.
This is an all-sports sim games, all-sports sim game companies event. Bring what you like, play what you like, and learn some new games!
The Saturday 4/5/25 event will be at the Early Ford V-8 Foundation Museum in Auburn. Auburn is known for its classic cars (home of the early Auburn, Cord, and Duesenberg lines for which the town takes its name). This is the main event, but, as anyone who has attended these knows, much fun is had gaming and chatting about games at the hotel all night. We should have enough cars available to scoot everyone from the Tru to the event space and back.
We are going to keep any fee to a donations box at the Saturday event. The expected cost per person for the event space is around $15, but we'll be bringing snacks, food, and drinks for everyone on Saturday. So, we're asking you to donate what you can in the box. We are expecting and hoping we can all go out and eat at a central location after the 9am-5pm event ends on Saturday. Then its back to the hotel for more gaming.
The nearest airport is Fort Wayne, which is about 15-20 mins. We can do rides from there. As an FYI, Toledo is about 1 hour and 40 minutes, Indianapolis is about two hours, and Detroit, Chicago, and Cleveland are about three hours.
Game creators who are at least 95% for coming (basically, barring last minute emergencies) are Keith Avallone of PLAAY, Joe Bryan of Sideline Strategy Games, Gary Brown of Stone Mountain Press, and S.T. Patrick of Match-Up College Football and The Squared Circle. Other game company reps are pending until we are closer to the event.
If you are coming for sure (as always, barring emergencies), please contact S.T. Patrick at SportsSimMagazine@gmail.com so we can have an official count. We have the option of a larger room or a smaller room at the Ford Museum and we need to know which room to tell them we need (soon).
It's going to be great! We hope to see you all there!
