I know it’s up to me promoter but wondering if anyone else has ever done this?
I am a very inconsistent player, i will jump in for 6 months then not pick it back up for a year. I have several feds going but of course after that time i don’t have the same connection to them. Was thinking about my favorite GFW era which would be from around the Aethran Civil war up through the Cordanius saga. So part of me wants to just start in 2098 or so and go from there. It’s seems like doing that without the 2087-2097 fed history would hurt the experience though. Curious if anyone has had this experience?

The experience is what you make it, so if you’re having fun that’s all that matters. I think it’s a great idea. I’ve started at 2087, 2074 and 2119. I bop around from year to year. Eventually, they’ll all connect and I’ll make some tweaks to make them do so, but right nowI’m just having fun playing whichever era strikes me.

I jumped from 92 to 98 when I returned to the game and later ran 93-97 after being several years ahead of that.

You don't need to roll out matches and cards to have history. In the past I have started feds with an established history. I would just assign titles to wrestlers for either a few months or for years and start from there. It just depends on what you want, your level of imagination and creativity and how much effort you want to put in.
