she was doing indy shows and I heard rumors of her joining TNA a few months ago when Ariel/Shelly Martinez/Salinas joined and Nidia and some others were rumored to be coming too. But I thought I recently heard she said she's now retired.

A World Champions set wouldnt be bad , however there is a lot of World Champions that could be used. Hear is my REASONABLE list, trying to use all era's and not signed with WWE or TNA :
1.June Byers or Mildred Burke (Womens champ) 2.Stanislaus Zbyszko ( very early NWA Workd champ) 3.Shane Douglas or Mikey Whipwreck (ECW world champ) 4/5.Robert Gibson & Ricky Morton or Lance Storm & Tony Altimore (Storm with Credible & Altimore with Albano) 6.Lou Thesz or Whipper Bill Watson or Evert Marshall (NWA champs) 7.Joe Stecher (Early NWA champion) 8.Tommy Rich or Stan Stasiak (both "hotshot" World Champs) 9.Gary Steele or Mike Rapada (early 2000 NWA champs) 10.Paul Jones (NWA world tag team champ) 11.The Patriot or Scotty Riggs (both WCW World Tag Champs w/Buff) 12.Raven ( He has a website out there somewhere) 13.Lou Albano early wrestling card 14.Vader or Stan Hansen (Japan Champion)

I would look forward to all these guys. Graymar

I don't remember where I posted it, but I'd really like to see a Stampede set at some point, plenty of great guys that could be had, and some don't even really ahve bootlegs out there... 1) the Harts, obviously (Bret, Owen, Stu, Bruce for sure) 2) Karachi Vice 3) Dave Ruhl 4) Kiniski (more of a Maple Leaf guy, but still...) 5) Duke Myers 6) Doug Furnas 7) Dan Kroffat 8) Bulldogs (might not be possible; with DH Smith trying to get into WWE, Davey might have a legends contract, not even sure who you'd ask about Dynamite) 9) Abdullah the Butcher (I feel like they might have said no at some point) 10) Bad New Brown (not sure if he's got a legends WWE deal) 11) Archie Goldie (The Mongolian Stomper) 12) Pillman You get the idea

zanysteve - Lou Thesz was originally a "no" but the Legends team is trying to stay on his widow Charlie's good side and will probably inquire again next year at the Iowa HOF banquet. We have some contact info on Whipper Watson; it's a work in progress.
wildfire - Gene Kiniski was a polite "no" a couple of years ago. I think Tom spoke with Abdullah at some point, but don't remember the outcome. Obviously it wasn't an enthusiastic "yes" since he's not in the game. As a judoka, I'd love Allen Coage, but am not optimistic. I might be able to get some contact info on Stomper - no guarantees. He's a very nice guy. I'll make a couple of calls after GalactiCon.

Stomper would be a great and fun card. I have one planned for my Memphis set and already have a mechanic on it where the crowd cheers and distracts Stomper (FYI...Stomper had a gimmick where a manger would say the crowd cheering would hurt Stomper's ears and not to cheer. Of course, the crowd would go nuts) I'd love to match him up with Bob Armstrong

Yeah, Scott Mathis' version has that on it (probably the one you're working from, IIRC)...
*shameless plug mode on* he's my champ over in the LWA Stampede territory *end plug*

I'll see if he sent that one to me

Yeah, Dawn Marie gives us many reasons to stand up and take notice. She used to appear frequently in the MD indys before she started with ECW. I think she was married or engaged to Simon Diamond at one point. Does anyone know if she is still involved with wrestling? Last I heard/read she had a baby, but I don't think her and Simon are together any more, and I don't think she's involved in wrestling.
