Werner and I talked to Norton and he was REALLY enthusiastic about it. We passed his info onto Tom and Todd. Thats great news about Scott, he is a good guy and deserves a card. I will pee my pants the day that Scott Norton is announced as being in. I had talked to him via his official myspace page and he seemed really in to it. He is easily one of my favorite wrestlers. I should warn, though, I will be a tough critic of his card. A couple rules I have: #1 - He should be recognized as a multi-time IWGP world champ #2 - He should somehow have 2 finishers, the powerbomb & the upsidedown shoulder breaker #3 - He should dominate every single other card created thus far - probably a 70 (give or take) on the Rahl Ratings scale. I guess you don't have to follow that last one but I will be hugely dissapointed if the other rules are broken.

I know some would disagree, but I have no problem factoring in a person's status in Japan into their cards (hey, isn't Baba and Inoki's Japan time factored in? ) I can see Scott being a solid upper mid card guy. Not a Harley Race or such, but definitely upper mid card. Shouldn't be a low card guy

Dr. Death's time in Japan was surely factored as well.

Dr. Death's time in Japan was surely factored as well. It had to have been, because I don't remember watching any UWF/Mid-South matches of his where he busted out the backdrop driver (and if he did, it didn't look like the ones he was doing in 91-93 AJPW)

Thanks and I'm glad that people enjoy it. I'll eventually trudge my way up to Z.
BTW - Norton is a very cool guy. Have a friend that worked Sports in Salisbury,MD and he interviewed him when WCW was at the local arena. He said that Norton was just a great guy and very helpful to him. But, he scared the hell out of him when the camera was on. A LOW card would be great.

Not sure if anyone has ever thrown this out there, but Mick Foley owns the rights to Cactus Jack. I was watching the Legends discussion on WWE 24/7 yesterday and names that WWE owned and names that he owned came up.

Since we know the American Dragon will be in the set, how about the current ROH Champion, Jerry Lynn? I would mark out for him!
