The show opens up with highlights of the Road Warriors being set up and Animal being injured by the Executioners. Will Animal be able to defend the titles or will the Road Warriors be forced to forfeit the titles?

Nicodemus starts out first by running the ropes, but Jushin catches him with a springboard moonsault. He then climbs to the top rope and, but Nic catches him and tosses him to the mat. Jushin did not know what to make of Nic, at this point no one knows that he is an alien. Nic had a rough time with the speed of Jushin. Jushin got the first pin using a FISHERMAN’S BUSTER which was not as effective against the heavyweight and only got a 2 count. Knowing Nic was disoriented, Jushin climbed to the top rope and leaped off with a cross body block, but barely got a 1 count before Nic powered out. Nic fought back and hit two spinebusters. 1…2…thr…Jushin barely kicks out! Nic tossed Jushin out of the ring and went charging after him, but Jushin was able to back drop Nic onto the announce table. Before the bell rings for this match, Necro’s music blares over the arena as he makes his way down the ramp and to the announce table. He says that he will be the guest announcer for this match.
Once the bell rung, Sandman went right after his opponent. Mike got the best of Sandman and he rolled out of the ring and started jawing with Necro. Mike took the opportunity and rammed Sandman into the ringpost. He then tossed Sandman back in the ring and hit
Chikara Special. 1…2…Necro held Sandman’s feet…3!

Dan is waiting in the ring as Vanity makes his way down the ramp. Vanity is admiring himself in the mirror and fixing his hair. He tells a young lady how much she wants him and she agrees. He points to his cheek and the young lady kisses his cheek. He then makes a face and starts wiping his face before getting in the ring.
Dan quickly puts him on the mat and does his
WAKIGATAME (arm bar submission), but Vanity quickly reaches the ropes. Vanity rolled out of the ring and when he got back in was able to regain control and used his
PULVERIZER (top rope elbow smash). 1…kick out! Vanity actually outwrestled Dan on several occasions and was able to hit a second
PULVERIZER, 1…2…thr…kick out! Vanity looked stunned as he thought he had won the match. Vanity climbed to the top rope and leaped off with a cross body, but Dan moved out of the way. This was the end of Vanity as Dan kept him on the mat for the rest of the match and put Vanity away with a second
WAKIGATAME and Vanity had no choice but to tap out!

HEARTBREAK EXPRESS (1-0) vs. MONGOLS (2-1) w/Larry Sharpe
Bepo started out the match with Phil Davis. Bepo just beat the man around the ring and pinned him with a Croation Suplex. 1…2…Phil kicked out! Phil was able to tag out and he did a drop toe hold, while Sean did a big splash. Sean tried to shove the big man to the mat, but Bepo just looked at him before doing a neck crank. Larry kept the ref busy while the Mongols used the chains on Sean. They then hit MONGOLIAN DROP (Bepo does over the knee backbreaker, while Geeto does top rope kneedrop) on Sean. Phil tried to break the pin, but Bepo stopped him cold. 1…2…thre…Geeto pulled him up to stop the pin. Geeto then picked up Sean and hit him with the Oriental Spike. 1…2…Sean kicked out! Geeto tags in Bepo who then tosses Sean out of the ring. Sean grabbed him and tosses Bepo into the ringpost and hit a double thrust to throat to regain control of the match. Sean tagged in Phil who went for a dropkick, but Bepo just tossed him away while he was in mid-air. Bepo tosses him into the turnbuckle and charges…ref is in the way and goes down. The Mongols continue to dominate the match, but when the ref awakens he DQ Bepo, awarding the match to the Heartbreak Express.

After commercial break cameras are in the back with the Mongols and Larry Sharpe.
Larry says that the Commissioner is out to get him as he has already lost Mountie to suspension, and now the refs are biased to his team. He says that he is on his way to Manager of the year, but the Commissioner is holding him back.
Charlie Cox comes in and asks him if it is a little too early to say that he is the Manager of the year, since it is only Feb and he is the only manager here right now. Larry then says that is what makes him so good and that is why no other manager is here. He mentions that the Mongols have not been pinned since he took over and that the Mountie was the #1 contender before he was suspended. Charlie then tells him if he does not like it he can leave and security will escort him out. Larry then says he will not do that because he is Manager of the year and will not let his wrestlers down.

Before the match starts, Hawk grabs the microphone.
Hawk: Well, you guys have set us up. Animal will not be there to help defend the titles. Commissioner Cox has allowed me to pick a partner to help defend the titles. So at Starcade you will face me and….a mystery partner.
BB tried to lift up Hawk, but he just powered out. Hawk picked him up over his head and gorilla slammed him to the mat. 1…kick out! Hawk with running clothesline. 1…kick out! BB rolls out of the ring and Hawk follows. He reaches for BB, but BB hits him with a chair and gets DQ.
Hawk (0) beats BB (2) by DQ. Match rating: *
BB then stands over him and keeps asking who is your partner and then hits him with the chair. He asks again and then hits him with the chair again. Once more and Bob Armstrong and Justin Credible run off BB

Doc is shown in the back asking Greg Valentine and Brutus Beefcake if they have heard who the mystery partner of Hawk will be. They both say they do not know who it is. Doc says it doesn't matter as the Executioners will become the champs anyway.
