How Did You Retire Switchblade?

I'm early in 2121 for my fed and still have Switchblade as an active wrestler. I imagine that one of the reasons Switchblade retires is due to niggling injuries caused by his risky style of wrestling. So I'm wondering wheter or not to have an angle where Switchblade could be taken out of action and forced to retire. So far the possible feuds are against Paralyze and Symbiote but I'd like to hear how everyone else has chosen. Did Switchblade just retired and had a hero's farewell, or was he put on the shelf by another wrestler?

I just decided it was time and let him wrestle one last much at the Crossfire Memorial, held in January of each year on his brother's last day. He then mentioned his nagging injuries and said it had been an honor, then walked away.

Gave him a gold watch and had security remove him from the building.

He just stopped wrestling. Nothing in particular, not even a memorable last match.

He was a heel in his final year for me, with Phantasy as his valet. I just said that he left the GWF because he wasn't getting a fair shake.

I had him wrestle the whole year of 2121. He had a hell of a year in the start so I let it run. He had a great last feud with Valour. He didn't like the fact that Valour was with his mom. At the end of the year he said he was done and that was that.

Right now, Switchblade is on his last legs in my fed. He's hooked up with Vendetta (who's still drinking) and Vyper and formed a sort of 'flock' type group. Things are on a death spiral for 'Blade right now, and if he isn't careful, he could find himself with a tarnished legacy...and going out with a whimper instead of a bang.
