My phone must be spying on me again. Got an email from Amazon today asking me if I wanted to buy any hard plastic sleeves. Good news is I do. Thanks Amazon spy technology. Same thing happened to me! I ordered a ton from Amazon. I keep getting nervous as they seem to be getting more scarce. The FG community is probably the best thing that ever happened to that company. |

I was trying to order some baseball card sized ones at my local store and they were all out. The owner said that they've become scarce due to the amount of plastic needed for surgical tubing for treating COVID patients.

I like the sideloaders a little better from the thread's original post, but the Ultra Pro toploaders are great too. I'm running out and can't find either. Anyone have any leads? |

Was at a local Baseball Card show here in Burbank today and asked if they had 25 packs of the UltraPro 4x6 Top Loaders. He didn't have any packs, just singles and said that they are super scarce because UltraPro is in the middle of moving their warehouse right now so they are unable to fill orders. He says once they are done with the move, supply should pick up. Hopefully he's right. Just to be safe, I bought all the single top loaders in that size he had.

Available soon on Amazon (these are the suggested alternative to the Ultra Pro top loaders I’ve bought in the past)  Edit: says available soon but apparently allows you to place an order now. |

I'd avoid the BCW ones. I got some a few years ago, and they were a bit too narrow. They may have changed them in the past couple of years, but last I tried, they were too small.

Maybe I’ll let Amazon know they might not be the best suggested replacement for the UP 6x4 sleeves. That could end up screwing a lot of people if they really aren’t a suitable replacement. Sorry about that fellas. |
