Hey guys,
it was great to see all of you again and I was wanting some feedback on the tournaments. I've never ran tournaments for that many people and I'm looking to improve for next year.
Please feel free to post your likes, dislikes, and any questions, comments, or concerns here. I'm looking for you opinion.
Thanks Tournament Overmaster Jeff Manning

You did a great job organizing everything for sure. One thing to suggest is to politely, but forcefully, remind everyone that we use all the official rules for tournaments. Some people wouldn't use the choices for example, which is always pretty standard for GCon tourneys.

A rulelist woudl be a good idea. One thing I thought about was having everyone simply draw for the tourneys as they signed up for them. Would speed up things instead of having to hunt people down when tourneys started.

I like the idea of a rule list, because it would help everyone keep on the same page... not that I've ever wandered off to play a round with someone and made up the rules on the spot because I didn't really know them. Not me. Nope. Never.

Great job overall...we talked about the drawing for character on the way home, but other than that, you guys (Eliath too) did a superior job. Thanks for doing that Overmaster the Great.

Yeah the only thing I can think of is a rule list. I noticed some people not using ch Charts and stuff like that at times. Other than that you tore it up Mello. Outstanding job.

I think the tournament setup and spacing worked out great. It was very well balanced in that it wasn't always the same folks playing eachother.
I agree with the tournament rules, I had some of these sheets made up a couple years aao, which I will pass along. Includes the choice charts, as well as the Troy rule (letting a die roll complete before touching it, and if it then falls off the table reroll).
I'm not sure if we will be at the Sheldon or the JCC, because that will have a bearing on people hearing that a tournament has started and knowing when to choose a character. The character selection was the only sticky part...and I'll admit I was hard to find during the Legends tournament.

Laughs....strangely enough I was one of the few people who was following that rule this year.

My suggestion is perhaps Filsinger Games has a copy of all the cards that'll be used in the tournaments. So as to not having to keep tracking down Jim. Jim was very nice, but he shouldn't have to put his collection into every tournament. Just might be simpler/easier if a set of all the cards needed were kept at the main reg table and if you did need someone you could go there and get it.
Otherwise I thought things were well run.
