As of right now there is no subscription rates? That must be the reason the packages have gone up. BRAVO! BRAVO!

Yup as long as you have a digital set you can use it for no charge but now the digital sets cost the same as the cardstock.

Yes this new no subscription might be a good way to get me back to using COTGonline.

I've never been able to get into COTG Online. I bought NB a while back, and it just wasn't working out. The main reason was the monthly payment, and the fact that I've largely moved away from COTG. Buying the sets, then a monthly fee when I couldn't even guarantee I'd play it?
Now I see this that if you bought a set that your account remains active no matter what, and I just tried it out and my account still works. I can play New Beginnings, which I paid for months ago. I even have those cards that were given out like Decaying Factor. This is a VAST improvement from the old system.
I'm not going to say anything like this brought back me back in the fold, but it's a definite step in the right direction.

I will always be an old fashioned dice roller as I feel like I'm more in control. I like being able to accidentally knock the dice off the table if it looks like someone I don't like is about to win lol, joking ... Very cool though for cotgonline and could get a lot more people playing the game!

It did not bring me back when I returned a few months ago, but it has had a lot to do with keeping me back this time, especially the CAC cards so I can have all of my feds online. I play pretty much everything on the game table now.

It's certainly helped. It taking roughly five minutes to go through a card instead of thirty for dice & pen is interesting. I've already ran a bunch of shows, with the idea of one TV and two house shows per week. That would have been impossible for me with dice, even at the speed I played at. This is very doable with the system.
Right now, I'm very satisfied that I don't have that monthly fee hanging over my head. I can treat this just like I would the card stock. I play at my speed without the looming threat of charging.
