IWLF, a brief (re-introduction) I like to run my fed in the style of 70's, early 80's WW(W)F There are 4 "weeks" of TV and a "monthly" house show at the end of the month. The house shows run down the circuit of the major Northeast cities. Boston, Providence, Hartford, New York, Philly, Baltimore, Washington DC Once in a while if I'm inclined I may run a smaller show in a "B" or "C" town / venue You can assume that what happens in Boston also happened in NY, Philly and around the circuit that month. Current champions: International Champion: Buddy Rogers (defeated Mil Mascaras in a tournament) This actually happened when I LAST tried to restart my fed. He lost the title to Mascaras and I stopped playing for a bit, but we'll restart with Nature Boy since I don't wanna do ANOTHER tournament. International Tag Team Champions: The Mongols managed by Lou Albano (defeated Ray Stevens and Larry 'The Axe' Hennig). This was a 'phantom' tournament that never actually happened. My own 'Rio de Janeiro' Current roster: TBD Oh and I use a lot of old COTG guys, with the sci-fi elements removed, as TV jobbers. For instance Black Hole Bart from COTG War Games 2093 is Black Bart, Johnny Rocket from 2101, Trainer Jim from 2089 is 'Jim Trainer', Astro Turk from 2093 is 'Kurt Artos' etc. I may bring in other guys for more high profile runs. Maybe The Greek Gods for a run at the Mongols or Road Warriors or as champions of a rival fed for a "Super Show" at Shea Stadium, who knows. Anyway, hope you guys get a kick out of it.

IWLF SUPERSTARS (TV - WEEK 1)
Hosts: Bill Apter and Billy "Red" Lyons
The announcers mention that Buddy Rogers is the newly crowned IWLF champion and is currently on a tour of Australia and Japan
The new International Tag Team Champions, The Mongols will be here today along with their manager, Captain Lou Albano.
You'll see a mix of superstars and up and comers in the next few weeks as everyone is trying to get into IWLF action.
Let's go to the ring!
MATCH #1: "Lightning" Mike Quackenbush def. "The Unpredictable" Johnny Rodz (8:42)
The veteran Rodz gives Quackenbush all he can handle but the youngster catches Rodz going to the top rope, slams him down to the mat and executes the QUACKENDRIVER to score the pin and pull off what many would consider an upset.
MATCH #2: The Mongols (International Tag Team Champions w/ Lou Albano) def. S.D. Jones and Jim Trainer (9:15) [non-title match]
The tag champs are impressive in their debut as they double team Jones, never even allowing Trainer to enter the ring. After a double clothesline, Bepo finishes S.D. off with a running stomp and the pin. Lou Albano provided commentary for the match, ranting and raving and generally claiming his team was unbeatable.
MATCH #3: Bobo Brazil def. "The Belgian Brawler" Dupae Rupa
Bobo makes short work of his opponent, using two successive COCO BUTTS to knock "The Belgian Brawler" down and out.
After the match Bobo is interviewed at ringside by Billy "Red" Lyons and says he came to this area to get his hands on Buddy Rogers and that IWLF title belt.
MATCH #4: Bob & Brad Armstrong def. J.J. Smooth and Black Bart (8:18)
The father/son combo score the win when Bob puts Black Bart away with his patented SLEEPER hold.
Tune in next week for more surprises and the biggest names in wrestling!

Big Ox Baker makes his debut along with Abdullah Farouk (who tells the announcers during the match that he will from now on be known as The Grand Wizard Of Wrestling) and punishes his opponent before finishing him off with a backbreaker.
After the match, while The Grand Wizard distracts the referee, Baker picks up White Eagle and delivers the dreaded HEART PUNCH to the already beaten opponent.

All-American Bob Roop dominates the match with his scientific skills and finishes Sharpe off after a gut-wrench back breaker.

After the match, April and Trinity take out their frustrations on the official, much to the delight of the fans.
MATCH #4: Antonino Rocca def. George South (4:38)
Rocca makes quick work of South, hoisting him up in the ARGENTINIAN BACKBREAKER and getting the submission.
After the match, as Rocca is getting his hand raised, he is attacked by Killer Kowalski!
The show goes off the air with Kowalski perched on the top rope ready to deliver a knee drop!
