Just finished watching...an instant classic! While I don't begrudge anybody success, there's a part of me that hopes these guys NEVER make it to TNA / WWE. Better to be a big fish in a small pond, just doesn't pay as well. Too bad, because Danielson really might be the best in the world & the sky's the limit for Black, however we all know what happens when you hit the big time...

I watched this as well and I have to say that the third match between these two was a nailbiter and could have gone either way. I love ROH-HD for its very old school throwback presentation that is reminiscent of the AWA/ NWA go old days.

I could have went to their first match in Dayton, but by the time I could have bought a ticket, I had no money. I've seen this match, and it was actually pretty good. I disagree with Danielson being the best in the world (right now I honestly think that honor goes to Mistico), but he's definitely up there.

When I first saw the topic title, I thought it meant UMB, not Tyler. TB/Danielson sounds like a great match/series.

Mistico is very impressive...but he is not the best wrestler in the world. Danielson can have any kind of match that he is called upon to have with anyone he gets in the ring with. While he may not be a high-flyer, he can still make a high-flyer look amazing. The more you see Danielson, the more you can appreciate him in the ring.

I have to say that I have never seen Danielson do that either....but it is a very different style of wrestling compared to lucha libre. I love lucha libre, but too often it turns into just a spot-fest. It is like watching strong style matches, so people absolutely HATE it, while others eat it up. Whoever you may feel is the best wrestler going, most would agree that whoever that wrestler, he does NOT work for Vince! (And I really like CM Punk!) |
