Has anyone ever created a "beat the clock challenge" type match?
Or if not, has anyone thought about how to go about creating one? Any suggestions?
Was watch RAW and thought that would be a fun kind of match to run if it can be done!?
thoughts, comments, suggestions....

One thing I've done similar to beat the clock, but it's not the exact same thing, is have a series of matches where the winner is the wrestler who not only wins his match but wins in the fewest number of pin/submission attempts.

Calculating time has always been an iffy area in CotG/LOW.

Perheaps I mis-read an earlier post, but I believe that some have counted the number of offensive moves needed to win a match and used that in lieu of actual time. Whoever wins their match in the fewest moves wins their match the fastest. When I bring this into play at some point, that is the formula I wil use.

I've always gone with a roll of the dice being 10 seconds worth of action. So if you use a dice sim, like I do, that keeps track of how many dice were rolled, than that would be the way to go.
Or use a stop watch. Set the time with the first match and then count back from that point. As long as the variables stay the same, i.e. no distractions, continuous play on all the matches, then you would have an accurate result.

thanks for all the comments. I do think the stop watch idea is easiest, as I'm not a big fan of counting moves/die rolls/etc... I guess with the online game, with the counter it's ok. But if you're rolling old school, it can be tedious and hard to keep track of. But anyways, I was just curious to know if anyone had tried it or used it at some point. I myself have never attempted it, so it's a good thing to know....Justin Case!
