Seth Rollins pinned Jigsaw.
This was a great show opener. Rollins overwhelmed Jigsaw early and looked like he'd pick up an easy win, but Jigsaw mounted a comeback and nearly got the victory. It was not to be as, after some back and forth action, Rollins took over and put it away with the Phoenix Splash.Darin Corbin and Arik Cannon defeated Osirian Portal when Cannon pinned Amasis.
A flat tag team match followed a solid opening bout as Osirian Portal never mounted much offense in a quick loss. Cannon used the Burning Hammer for the win.Delirious beat Mike Quackenbush with a Cobra Stretch.
Delirious got the win in an intense, hard-hitting match by using Shadows Over Hell to set up a cobra stretch for the victory.Paul London defeated Brian Kendrick.
These guys know each other well, and used their extensive experience as a tag team to anticipate and counter each other's moves. London finally wore down Kendrick enough to use the 450 Splash to get the pin.Austin Aries defeated Roderick Strong.
The combatants showed why they have headlined shows in MRW and around the country with this display of all-around wrestling ability. Both had several "highlight moments" but it was Aries who got the win following a slingshot senton. The Colony defeated Team FIST (Taylor, Icarus, and Gargano) when Soldier pinned Icarus.
Referee Bryce Remsburg had his hands full for this one. Lots of action both inside and out of the ring ended when Soldier scored the pin on Icarus.Brodie Lee defeated Eddie Kingston.
The match was only seconds old when the action went to the floor. As would be expected, these guys brawled hard the entire bout. Finally Brodie got the ring steps involved and whipped Kingston hard into the unforgiving steel surface of said steps to do enough damage to get the pin.The Kings Of Wrestling won by disqualification over The American Wolves in a tag team title match.
A spectacular match to determine who would close out MRW as tag team champions had a somewhat unsatisfying ending. Davey fought back from near defeat after a RICCOLA BOMB and was tosssed out of the ring. He got back to the apron and tried to try to re-enter the ring as Claudio tried to keep him on the floor. A roaring European uppercut knocked Richards off the apron and he grabbed a steel chair, spun around, and tossed it over the ropes and into the ring, hitting Claudio square in the face and prompting the disqualification.Bryan Danielson beat Nigel McGuinness to defend the Revolution championship.
This was a great way for MRW to go out, with two top wrestlers fighting for the championship. They pulled out all of the stops in a classic encounter. The end came when Danielson caught Nigel with a high kick as he rushed the corner and went on to slap on the LeBell Lock for the submission.Following the match all of the MRW regulars gathered in and around the ring to celebrate and close the promotion on a high note.
