MRW PREVIEW......MAIN EVENT Tyler Black v. Roderick Strong They've split the previous two encounters and one man looks to take the series and put himself into title contention with a win. Jimmy Jacobs vs. Larry Sweeney After the events on the last show, Jacobs has challenged Sweeney to meet him in the ring one-on-one. Sweeney promises he won't be coming alone as his newest protege, Jacobs former henchman Brodie Lee will be there with him. Mixed tag team match Jigsaw and Daizee Haze vs. Delirious and MsChif
Arik Cannon vs. Chuck Taylor
The American Wolves vs. Ultramantis Black and Crossbones
Nigel McGuinness vs. Drake Younger Nigel makes his long-awaited return to MRW, but Drake Younger is no pushover and doesn't want to act as Nigel's stepping stone to bigger things. Eddie Kingston vs. Gran Akuma Eddie has fallen fast, going from the main event to the opening match in just a few shows. He looks to get back on track against the fierce competitor from Afar. If he loses again the former Revolution champ's time in MRW may come to an unceremonious end. If he wins he'll still need to climb all the way back up the ladder to make it back into title contention.PLUS..... an interview with Matt and Nick Jackson, The Young Bucks.

Eddie Kingston pinned Gran Akuma. Akuma was no pushover by any means and almost scored the upset that would have been the end of Kingston in MRW. Instead Eddie powered out of the Yoshi Tonic and pulled out all the stops to win, finally scoring the pin after the Sliding D to end a lengthy match. After the bout Mark Knight got comments from Eddie at ringside. Kingston said he's on the comeback trail and one win closer to getting his belt back. Nigel came out to interrupt. He said barely scraping by over a tag team wrestler doesn't constitute a major victory. Eddie remarked that the last time Nigel was seen in MRW he had just gotten beat by "The Last of a Dying Breed" and was crawling away with his tail between his legs. Nigel called him a wanker and told him it was a fluke and if they step in the ring again he'll prove it, and end Eddie's career once and for all if he so chooses. Eddie told Nigel to step in the ring right now and put his money where his mouth is. Knight reminded them both that Nigel WAS scheduled to step in the ring next, but a rematch with Kingston will have to wait because his scheduled opponent is Drake Younger and he's coming out next. Nigel McGuinness defeated Drake Younger. Drake did his best to make the Nigel/Kingston debate a moot point by scoring the pin, but it was not to be. Nigel put him away with a corner to corner forearm strike to end a solid match.Ultramantis Black and Crossbones won by countout over The American Wolves. The Wolves were looking good when UMB made the desperation tag out to Crossbones. Crossbones managed to take over long enough to toss Davey out of the ring as CLAUDIO CASTAGNOLI made his way to ringside with his tag team title belt resting on his shoulder. Claudio distracted Eddie by waving the belt in his face and the ref jumped in to get between them. In the meantime, CHRIS HERO rushed out and whacked Davey in the back of the head with the loaded elbow pad and rushed away undetected by the ref and Edwards. Claudio left, the ref turned around, and Davey was counted out of the ring.Arik Cannon pinned Chuck Taylor. Taylor used his finisher early in the match, but Cannon kicked out. A frustrated Taylor made a miscue and Cannon capitalized by hitting the BURNING HAMMER for the win.THE YOUNG BUCKS came to the ring to a nice ovation. Nick said he heard the Briscoe Brothers are upset with them because they think he intentionally interferred in Matt's match with Jay on the last show. He said nothing could be further from the truth. Matt said he and his brother respect the Briscoes but he understands their frustration; it's because the Young Bucks are younger, faster, better, and have done more in a shorter amount of time than they have in their entire careers. The fans began to turn on them and Matt told them they were being rude to boo the mere mention of the Briscoe name. Nick said there was one good way to settle this and that would be to have the Briscoes apologize for the accusation before they wrestle each other on the next show. The duo left as the crowd soundly booed their exit from the arena. Larry Sweeney (w/Brodie Lee) defeated Jimmy Jacobs. Jimmy came out swinging and pounded away on Sweeney. Sweeney used a cheap shot to get back into the match and it settled into a solid contest. Finally the action went to the arena floor. Sweeney rolled back in and, as the ref checked a developing cut on Larry's head, Brodie rushed over and put the BIG BOOT to Jimmy. He tossed Jacobs back into the ring and Larry used the '68 Comeback Special to set up the 12 LARGE ELBOW and the pin.Jigsaw and Daizee Haze won by countout over Delirious and MsChif. This was a match full of fast-paced action from bell to bell. Daizee did not hesitate for an instant to tag herself in to get a few shots in on Delirious when he was down, and MsChif did the same against Jigsaw. In the end Jigsaw used JIG N TONIC and went for a cover, but MsChif broke it up. Daizee jumped on her and knocked her out of the ring and to the floor. Delirious rolled out of the ring beside her and Daizee and Jigsaw did stereo dives from the ring to the floor onto the evil duo. The referee counted the rudos out and Jigsaw and Haze got some small measure of revenge for recent events.Tyler Black won by disqualification over Roderick Strong. This third match between these two was supposed to determine the winner of the series, but may have only been the beginning. It didn't look good for Black at first, but he made his big comeback, only to miss a PHOENIX SPLASH and give the advantage right back to Strong. The bout left the ring and a brawl broke out on the floor. The referee tried to get between them to break it up, but caught an errant blow from Strong and called for the bell. The men ignored the bell and continued to brawl until more referees and security came out to separate them. The fans were glad Tyler got the win, but very unhappy with the result, as they wanted to see a clear cut winner.

Larry Sweeney (w/Brodie Lee) beat Ophidian via 12 LARGE ELBOW. Ophidian came out strong at the bell and nearly won it quick. He locked in the COBRA DEATH GRIP and Brodie Lee immediately jumped onto the apron to try to distract the ref. Ophidian let go and turned his attention to Lee. That gave Sweeney time to recover, take him down, and use the big elbow for the pin.The Young Bucks came to the ring for the second bout of the evening. They insisted that the Briscoes come out and apologize to them before the match got underway. The Briscoes rushed the ring, clearly with no intent to apologize, slid under the ropes, and started the bout with a brawl. Mark and Jay Briscoe beat Matt and Nick Jackson when Jay pinned Matt. The teams pulled out all the stops trying to beat each other. The Briscoes pulled it off the win after the DOOMSDAY DEVICE on Matt to end a pretty impressive match. The Kings Of Wrestling defeated Ultramantis Black and Crossbones to defend the tag team championship. Hero and Claudio dominated the match most of the way until the got overconfident and let UMB get his team back into the match. Crossbones tagged in and almost scored the upset and took the titles back for his team with a Freakin Sweet Driver on Cladio, but Hero broke up the pin. Claudio quickly recovered and Hero came in to do clean up duty and defend the belts. After the match Hero said The American Wolves came into MRW with a big reputation, and they've earned it, but the loss on the last show proves they need to step up in MRW and prove they belong. He said next show was their chance since he is challenging them to come face a team of the Kings' choice to prove they have what it takes to stay in MRW. Claudio finished by saying they just showed how a real championship team does things and now it's the Wolves turn to put up or shut up. Nigel McGuinness pinned Eddie Kingston. The second meeting between these two was as hard-hitting as the first. This time Nigel was the last man standing, as he floored Kingston with a JAWBREAKER LARIAT and took the win.Austin Aries defeated Tyler Black to defend the Revolution championship. After some feeling out in the early minutes Tyler nearly got the pin with a turnbuckle power bomb out of nowhere. Aries rolled out of the ring moments later and Tyler went for a dive to the floor. Aries moved and returned the favor with his own dive from the ring to the floor. LAST CHANCERY was locked in, but Black escaped. More back and forth action ensued but Aries eventually managed to get his finisher a second time and successfully defend the belt.

Gan Akuma defeated Mr. X Akuma was out to showcase his talent in the opening bout, and he could not have had a better opponent with which to do so. Mr.X put up some token offense, but Akuma basically assaulted him en route to the pinfall win via YOSHI TONIC.Osirian Portal beat Brodie Lee and Larry Sweeney. Osirian Portal managed to gain some revenge from the last show with a tag team victory over Sweeney and his latest protege. Lee tossed the smaller adversaries around like rag dolls most of the time he was in the ring, but they finally figured out a way to wear him down and Ophidian got the pin after the double team finish.Daizee Haze pinned MsChif. The women proved they can deliver heavy action in what was arguably the match of the night. MsChif survived an early barrage and took her turn brutalizing Haze, only to have the tables turned again. The action spilled back and forth, inside and out of the ring, for some time until Haze managed to put away her opponent after a missile dropkick.Mr.Knight, co-owner of MRW, made his way to the ring for a big announcement. He told everyone that the main event of the next show has been signed and he is pleased to announce that Jerry Lynn will be making his MRW debut against former MRW Revolution champ Bryan Danielson. The crowd roared with approval until current MRW Revolution champ Austin Aries came to the ring. He bemoaned the fact that he would be facing the winner of tonight's battle royal in a title defense on the next show and yet Knight was calling a match between a man who has never wrestled for the promotion and the former champion the main event. Knight stammered and attempted to come up with an explanation but Aries kept cutting him off with insults and anger. Aries was about to attack Knight when Tyler Black raced out to make the save. Chuck Taylor defeated Jimmy Jacobs. An intense and action-packed, although somewhat short, match ended when Taylor used the Omega Driver on Jacobs to get the pin.Delirious pinned Jigsaw. Jigsaw was no match for Delirious on this night and fell pretty easily to CHEMICAL IMBALANCE II.The American Wolves came to the ring to await the mystery team selected by the MRW tag champs, The Kings Of Wrestling. After a little dramatic pause The Conquistadors were introduced and came to the ring in trademark gold bodysuits and masks (and looking suspiciously built like Claudio and Chris Hero). American Wolves defeated The Conquistadors when Richards pinned Conquistador #1. #1 started strong on Edwards and nearly got the pin in the opening minutes. After some double teaming by the Conquistadors Edwards managed to make the desperation tag and Richards came in and cleaned house. Richards used a BRAINBUSTER on #1 and went for the cover as Edwards kept #2 from interferring.Following the bout the Wolves attempted to unmask the opposing duo, but the Conquistadors somehow escaped with their identities remaining a (arguably poor kept) secret. Mike Quackenbush won an 12-man battle royal to earn a title shot on the next show. Participants included Mark and Jay Briscoe, Matt and Nick Jackson, Cannon, Quackenbush, Icarus, Tyler Black, Ultramantis Black, Crossbones, Eddie Kingston, and Drake Younger. Late in the match it was down to Quackenbush, Black, Cannon, and Younger when Austin Aries came out to distract Black, allowing Cannon to get the elimination. Black and Aries brawled to the back as the action went on. Cannon and Younger were fighting near the ropes when the veteran Quackenbush took advantage by dumping them both over the top rope and getting the upset win.

Team FIST came to the ring to start the show. Icarus and Akuma were scheduled to face the debuting team of The Colony, but Chuck Taylor decided to open his mouth before the match began. He said the Colony didn't look like much, and he'd already proven his superiority over Arik Cannon (conveniently forgetting his loss to Cannon in their last encounter), so he decided to "call an audible" as team leader and trade places with Gran Akuma. Akuma was a little confused, but Taylor told him to go back to the locker room and get ready for his match because Icarus and he were about to squash some ants. The Colony (Fire Ant and Soldier Ant) defeated Team FIST (Icarus and Chuck Taylor). A good fast-paced match got things started. Things did not exactly go Taylor's way however, as he got caught with a barrage of offense after taking the Colony lightly and pinned following tandem diving stomps.Osirian Portal were introduced for their upcoming match and made their way down the aisle. Midway down they were attacked from behind by Brodie Lee and Larry Sweeney. Lee and Sweeney brutalized Ophidian and Amasis and tossed them into the ring where there opponents The Young Bucks were waiting. The Young Bucks beat Osirian Portal after MORE BANG FOR YOUR BUCK on Ophidian. Osirian Portal put up a good fight, but the pre-match beatdown took it's toll and the talented Bucks took the win.Following the match Larry Sweeney jumped into the ring and announced the Young Bucks, now wanting to be known as Max and Jeremy Buck, as his newest proteges and guaranteed he would lead them to tag team title gold in the near future. Gran Akuma pinned Arik Cannon. Cannon and Akuma had a very good match that could have gone down either way. In the end it was Akuma showing impressive skills and picking up the victory with YOSHI TONIC.Delirious defeated Tyler Black. Black has gone 0-2 in his last pair of outings while Delirious has had the opposite luck, going 2-0 on back-to-back shows. Delirious got the clean win with CHEMICAL IMBALANCE II to hush the many Tyler Black fans in attendance.Revolution champ Austin Aries raced down to the ring to put the boots to Black after the bout. Delirious joined in and things were not looking good for Tyler until Mike Quackenbush came out to clean house and make the save. Delirious took off, but Aries grabbed the mic and told Quackenbush to get ready because he wanted the title match to start "right here, right now". Quack agreed and the ref called for the bell to get it going. Austin Aries beat Mike Quackenbush to defend the Revolution Championship. It looked like Quackenbush had Aries number most of the match, but Aries showed why he's the champ by sustaining a beating and coming back. Aries used a brainbuster followed by a frog splash for a near fall, then locked in the LAST CHANCERY to secure the win.Claudio Castagnoli defeated Eddie Edwards. Edwards was looking to keep the momentum going after the win over "the Conquistadors" on the last show, but Claudio was not in on the plan. The springboard European Uppercut was the move that ended the smash mouth match and sent Edwards home with something to think about as the Wolves try to build to a MRW tag team championship match with Claudio's Kings of Wrestling.Bryan Danielson beat Jerry Lynn via submission. The veteran looked like he'd found the fountain of youth before this match and wrestled like it, too. The wrestlers engaged in a match fitting of main event status until Danielson used the CATTLE MUTILATION to end it and get the win.News, rumors, and speculation:-Brodie Lee is not a happy man. He stuck with the company during hard times and was the MRW champion when things were down. Now that business has picked up Lee has found himself in the opening bout one too many times and he feels like getting thrown into a tag team feud with Osirian Portal, a previously winless undercard team, may be the writing on the wall that his time with MRW is just about over. Unless someone does something to make Lee happy, expect to see "The Big Rig" go "bye bye".
-Tyler Black is another man apparently on the outs in MRW. He's had several chances to catch on and take the spot as top man in the company, but has stalled out each time. It looks like Tyler may be heading for greener pastures sooner rather than later. A softer sounding name and a stay in a Florida developmental league may be up next for Mr. Black.
- Big things may be in store for Gran Akuma. It could be time to see how far Akuma can go in singles action and let Chuck Taylor and Icarus carry on as Team FISTs resident tag team.
- Depending on feedback after the Lynn/ Danielson match more nationally known stars may be headed to MRW for special attraction matches in the shows to come. MRW always welcomes show feedback and match suggestions.

Midnight Revolution Wresting
Osirian Portal and Jimmy Jacobs beat Young Bucks and Larry Sweeney. An exciting trios opener saw plenty of high-flying action by the Bucks as Sweeney mainly stayed on the apron and gave direction. Finally Jacobs tagged in and challenged Sweeney to get in the ring. He declined so Jacobs tagged out and chased Sweeney off the apron. With Sweeney and Jeremy Buck distracted Osirian Portal used the OSIRIAN SACRAMENT on Max Buck for the win.Nigel McGuinness defeated Roderick Strong. Nigel dominated the early stages of the bout, but Strong kept kicking out when it looked like he was beat. Roderick finally made his comeback effort, but was cut short and pinned after a devastating JAWBREAKER LARIAT.The Colony defeated Team FIST in a trios match when Fire Ant pinned Chuck Taylor. The teamwork of the Colony was too much for the somewhat disorganized Team FIST. Icarus came in to break two pin attempts on Taylor, but he couldn't stop the third as Ants went marching and Fire Ant scored the pin. After the match Team FIST tried to regroup in the ring and the blame game began. Icarus was mad that Taylor didn't tag him in, Taylor was mad that Icarus had to try to save him twice while Akuma did nothing, and Icarus seemed a little divided as to who to side with. The unhappy trio finally agreed to disagree and left so the action could continue. Mike Quackenbush won by disqualification over Delirious when Nigel interferred. A very good match was marred by interference. As things heated up Nigel McGuinness showed up at ringside. Delirious went for the pin on Quackenbush after the Panic Attack but Nigel reached into the ring and grabbed Delirious by the leg, pulling him off and breaking the pin. Quack of course did not see that happen and took advantage of the distracted opponent to take over on offense. The bout went back and forth for a while until Quackenbush went for the pin. That's when Nigel jumped into the ring and attacked Quackenbush, breaking the pin again and this time prompting the disqualification. After the match MRW co-owner and color commentator Mark Knight approached Nigel and asked him why he did what he had just done. Nigel said everyone had been talking about how Delirious was on a roll and in line for a title match and he wanted to make sure all eyes were on him and no one else following the win over Roderick Strong. He said he didn't want to give the win to Quackenbush outright though, so he made sure neither one could claim a real victory (because that's just the type of guy he is). Bryan Danielson and The American Wolves beat Austin Aries and The Kings Of Wrestling. A great main event ended when Danielson caught Aries in the LeBell Lock. The Kings tried to break it up, but Edwards caught Claudio in the Achilles Lock as Davey used a brainbuster on Hero. Aries tried to fight out but was forced to submit.

Midnight Revolution Wresting
Gran Akuma (w/Icarus) defeated Fire Ant. A solid opener was tilted in the favor of Akuma by the presence of his Friend In Similar Tights, Icarus. Fire seemed to have it won with the Beach Break when Icarus jumped up on the apron to interfere. That led to Akuma recovering and using the Yoshi Tonic for the win.Jimmy Jacobs won by countout over Jeremy Buck (w/Larry Sweeney). Jacobs kept trying to get at Sweeney at ringside, and Sweeney stayed on the run. Jacobs went for the submission on Jeremy, but Sweeney tried to get involved. Jacobs chased after him and that allowed Jeremy to escape the ring and flee to the back, thus taking the intentional countout loss and enraging the fans.Team FIST (Taylor and Icarus) won by disqualification over Soldier Ant and Green Ant. The match was fast and furious but Green Ant showed his inexperience and was punished by Taylor for his efforts. Taylor toyed with him for a while before going for the pin, which angered Solider Ant who came in to break it up. Soldier went off on both Taylor and Icarus. The referee could not control him and was forced to call for the bell and award the bout to Team FIST.Mike Quackenbush and Jigsaw defeated Ultramantis Black and MsChif. MsChif was the surprise partner for UMB and the duo gave Quackenbush and Jigsaw more trouble than expected. IN particular it looked like Jigsaw was on the verge of being pinned by MsChif when Mike, in an uncharacteristic move, reached in to pull MsChif off of the pin and save his partner. Jigsaw went on to make the desperation tag and, after some more action, Quackenbush put away Ultramantis with the QUACKENDRIVER III.Between bouts an announcement was made about the next big MRW show, entitled ENTER THE PORKY which will feature a special appearance by the legendary, one and only Super Porky. As the fans cheered and chanted Porky's name, Larry Sweeney and Brodie Lee entered the ring. Sweeney said Porky is a joke and people should be chanting "Sweeney, Sweeney" instead. Larry said if Porky shows up next month he and "The Big Rig" will be waiting to give him a welcome he won't soon forget. Nigel McGuinness defeated Delirious in a great match. Delirious has done nothing to endear himself to the fans in recent months, but he put forth a gutsy effort that earned some respect. Delirious kicked out of six pin attempts and came all the way back to nearly score the win with CHEMICAL IMBALANCE #2, but it was not to be. Nigel kicked out and took him down with a Jawbreaker Lariat for the victory. The American Wolves won by disqualification over The Kings Of Wrestling in a tag team title match. The Kings had Edwards isolated in the ring and it looked like an easy title defense until he managed to make the hot tag out to Richards. Richards came in and fired away on the Kings, and a competitive match evolved. Finally DR went for the pin on Hero and Claudio broke it up. Edwards jumped in and the Wolves dumped him out of the ring. A tag out to Edwards resulted in the Achilles Lock and Hero was on the verge of tapping when Claudio came back in and blasted Edwards with a chair to prompt the disqualification but save the titles. Richards rushed in and was also blasted with the chair. The Kings bailed out of the ring, grabbed the belts, and high-tailed it out of the building.Bryan Danielson defeated Austin Aries to regain the Revolution championship. Aries went for the quick win with Last Chancery, but Bryan got to the ropes. Danielson came back and went for the win a minute later with a triangle choke, but Aries got to the ropes for the break. The match went back and forth like that for several minutes of holds and counters, strikes and blocks, until Danielson hit a Yakuza kick followed by an exploder suplex to take the pinfall win and reclaim the Revolution championship. After the match Danielson's celebration was cut short by the appearance of Nigel McGuinness. Nigel jumped Danielson and laid him out with a brutal lariat. He proceeded to grab the title belt and tell Danielson to shine it up for him becasue he's coming back next month to take it for good. Nigel tossed the belt onto the fallen champ's chest and walked away as the fans pelted him with paper cups and debris.
