The NWA Presents: CLASH OF THE CHAMPIONS I

**Huge pyro display goes off**

Tony Schvione: "Welcome fans to the first Clash Of The Champions presented by the NWA. I'm Tony Schvione representing CSW and beside me to my right is Lance Russell from ECW and to my left is Jim Ross from WCCW. What a show we have for you tonight fans. 9 great matches including the quadruple main event featuring the three territories respective Championship matches."

Russell: "Thats right fans. We have been waiting this night since it was announced a month ago. So lets get to it."

Ross: "This will be the most historic night in NWA history. A slobber knocker for sure."

(CSW) Antonio Inoki and Giant Baba vs Larry Hennig and "Dr. Death" Steve Williams: **Backstory** These two teams just don't like each other. Every match between them have been fast but basically brawls. **The match**Before the match can start, NWA President Bill Watts comes out and says that he is making this a Texas Tornado Match. Right away the two teams paired off and Steve Williams went to work on Inoki. While "The Ax" went to work on Baba. Williams was nailing high impact stuff from the outset on Inoki. He nailed a "Doctor Bomb" which got a 2 count and then hit "THE OKLAHOMA STAMPEDE" for a long 2. Hennig threw Baba into the turnbuckle and charged but Baba moved! Hennig fell backwards and Baba got the pinfall before Williams new what was happening. At 4:08 your winners are Antonio Inoki and Giant Baba.

Schvione: "Very good match to start us off this evening."

Ross: "I'm surprised that Hennig got beat like that. He's tougher than a two dolla steak thats for sure."

(CSW) Ivan Koloff vs Sandman; No DQ: **Backstory** Another case of pure hatred. **The match** None of these guys brought out any toys. Sandman wins after a "White Russian Leg Sweep" @ 7:41

Russell: I'm amazed. A match in where the cane is legal, he only used it to perform his leg sweep. Now I've seen everything."

(ECW) DDP vs. Justin Credible W/Candido, Sunny, and Corino: **Backstory**In the first round of the NWA Tag Team Tourny, The New Impact Players, Credible and Candido, were defeated in a very good match by the eventual champion Fabulous Kangaroos. Later that night they decided to take out some frustrations. They chose to beat down DDP. After a couple weeks of fighting both by himself, DDP enlisted the help of Steve Corino. But he turned on DDP to create The Extreme Horsemen with Candido and Credible. **The match** Before the match started, ECW commish Paul Heyman came out and ordered Candido, Sunny and Corino to the back so there would be no interference. DDP completely dominated. After three straight moves from the top turnbuckle, he nailed a "Russian Leg Sweep" and rolled him up for the victory @ 3:10 After the match, Corino and Candido came out and slid in the ring. DDP got in a defensive stance and held them back until, through the crowd from behind, Sabu came out and threw a fireball into DDPs face. DDP writhed around in immense pain as security and medics rushed to the ring.

Ross: "That is a dispicable act by those guys."

Schvione: "Cowards is what they are J.R. Cowards."

Russell: "No place in this business for that kind of stuff."

Inter Promotional Match:(CSW) "Nature Boy" Buddy Rogers vs. (WCCW) Bobo Brazil: These 2 guys battled each other back and forth the entire match. An early pin attempt by Bobo Brazil after a "falling elbow" resulted in a 2 count. Back and forth it went. Buddy Rogers threw Brazil out of the ring and they started to brawl. The ref warned them both but neither would listen. The ref decided to DQ both men @ 20:57 A real finish would have garnered a 5 star rating. only receives a 4 star.

Ross: "A helluva match up right there. I would love to see that one again."

**NWA President Bill Watts comes out and announces that at Clash Of The Champions II, the NWA will hold a tournament to crown the first NWA Champion. This champion will not only represent all three of the territories but the NWA as a whole.

Russell: "A tournament to crown an NWA Champion at the next Clash. Can't wait for that one fans."

(WCCW) Jimmy Snuka vs Cowboy Bob Orton; Cage match: **Backstory** At the second WCCW show, Snuka defeated Orton Jr. straight up but Orton Sr. came in and jumped Snuka. In an interview just a minute later, Orton Sr. said that Snuka cheated his boy and then Orton Jr. followed that up with calling Snuka a coconut eating and then something pertaining to him being fatherless. Snuka has dominated every match between them but always gets jumped after.**The match** Snuka was relentless. Orton managed a little offense but not enough. Snuka repeatedly rammed Ortons face into the cage, pinning him after Orton just dropped to the mat. 5:52

Ross: "Snuka the big winner here tonight. My has he been dominant. But now lets get ready for the first of the four main event matches."

WCCW Championship: (C)Nick Bockwinkle vs. Bruiser Brody: Bockwinkle is giving up 6 inches and almost 50 pounds. Brody has had a tough month. First being given a sedative before a match and then winning a number 1 contenders match followed by finding out who sedated him and taking him out plus his allies. **The match** Brody used the power advantage early basically just flinging Bockwinkle around. But Brodys mistake came when he threw Bockwinkle into the turnbuckle and Nick used it to his advantage. He took over and locked in a "BOCKWINKLE SLEEPER" but Brody made the rope. But an undeterred Bockwinkle just nailed a "knee smash to the back" for the victory @ 6:49

Ross: "Wow. Thats why he's the champ and probably the odds on favorite to become the NWA Champion."

Russell: "He does look impressive, thats for sure."

Schvione: "Wait a minute here. Bockwinkle can't light a candle to the CSW Champ Antonio Rocca. Or his challenger for that matter. Let's not crown his ass just yet."

Ross: "I wasn't impling anything Tony. I would say the same thing about him if he didn't happen to be where I announce. He is one of, if not the best. Besides, anything can happen as you are well aware of."

Schvione: "I apologize J.R. but I have pride in CSW and take it personally."

Russell: "Lets get back to the ring."

ECW Championship: (C)Johnny Valentine vs. Killer Kowalski: Valentine defeated three straight men to win the ECW Title. Kowalski was the last of these men. **The match** Valentine showed the same dominance he did in the gauntlet match. He pinned Kowalski @ 4:49 with a "forearm hammer" which was followed by two "ATOMIC SKULLCRUSHERS"

Russell: "Valentine continues to dominate ECW."

Ross: "A very impressive win indeed. Kowalski is no slouch."

NWA Tag Team Championship: (C)Fabulous Kangaroos W/Wild Red Berry vs. The Road Warriors W/Paul Ellering: These two teams faced each other in the finals of the tag tournament. After over a month, this is the rematch. **The match** During an intense match, the ref DQ'd the Warriors for not following the refs instructions, even though the Kangaroos were guilty of the same thing. Kangaroos win by DQ 7:43 The crowd was hugely upset.

CSW Championship: (C)Antonio Rocca vs. Iron Sheik: **Backstory** These two men fought in the finals of the CSW Championship tourny. Rocca won and Sheik surprisingly shook the hand of Rocca. Rocca and Sheik have developed sort of a friendship the last couple months. **The match** Rocca dominated and had Iron Sheik reeling. He hit an "ARGENTINIAN BACKBREAKER" for a 2 count. A few minutes later he locked on a "bow and arrow" but Sheik made the ropes. Nicholai Volkoff came out. Rocca hit another "ARGENTINIAN BACKBREAKER" but Volkoff interupted the match. Schvione: "What is going on. For months these two have acted like they were friends of Roccas?" Rocca retained control until he missed with a "tope suicida". Iron Sheik went to work. Going for a pin after a "sidewinder suplex" but getting 2. He then locked on the "CAMEL CLUTCH" and although Rocca fought he couldn't hang on and eventually tapped. At 13:43 Iron Sheik becomes the new CSW Champion. Nicholai Volkoff comes into the ring and he and Iron Sheik start to kick Rocca. Volkoff then nails Rocca with a devastating "BACKBREAKER DROP".

Schvione: "What the hell. These two convinced us all that they were his friends and then backstab him. There will be hell to pay I'm sure."

Clash Of The Champions II
The Summit, Houston, TX

**Pyro goes off and the camera quickly pans the crowd and then down to the three man announce team of Tony Schvione, Jim Ross and Lance Russell**

Schvione: "We are live at The Summit in Houston, Texas for Clash Of The Champions 2. Tonight is the one night tournament to crown the NWA Champion."

Ross: "Also tonight is the finals of the US Title tournament pitting Rizidozan vs. Don Muraco."

Russell: "And fans, thats not all. The Fabulous Kangaroos defend their NWA Tag Team Titles against The Midnight Express of "Beautiful" Bobby Eaton and "Loverboy" Dennis Condrey."

Ross: "Lets remind the viewers also that in the NWA tournament, the competitors in the first round have no idea who they are facing. Luck of the draw."

Schvione: "Lets go to the ring for our first match of the evening."

**Iron Sheik's music hits and he walks out with Nikolai Volkoff both carring their respective flags.

Sheik: "Shut up you stupid Americans while Nikolai sings the National Anthem."

**Before Nikolai could start, the music of Antonio Rocca starts!

Schvione: "Thats Antonio Rocca's music! He hasn't been seen since the Iron Sheik, Nikoali Volkoff and Ivan Koloff strangled him in the ring with the russian chain!!"

NWA Championship tournament
Iron Sheik vs Antonio Rocca: Rocca ran into the ring and went to work quick catching Iron Sheik by surprise. Rocca hit a quick "ARGENTINIAN BACKBREAKER" for a 2. But Rocca could not sustain the offense. Iron Sheik gets momentum and goes to work on Rocca's back. Iron Sheik throws Rocca out of the ring but a huge brawl erupts including Nikolai Volkoff. Because of the interference, the ref had to disqualify Iron Sheik. Rocca advances 5:56

Ross: "Iron Sheik looked like he was on his way to victory. No need for the interference there."

Schvione: "The feud between these two is going to get intense. But Rocca needs help because at this point the numbers game is too much."

NWA Championship tournament:
Johnny Valentine vs. "Superfly" Jimmy Snuka: Snuka got in some action but Valentine's strength was too much and he ended up winning after an "ATOMIC SKULLCRUSHER" 8:51

Russell: "The ECW Champ looks mighty impressive fellas.

Ross: "Can't argue with you there Lance."

Bruiser Brody vs. Frank Gotch: Incredible match. Gotch went for a cover following a "tope suicida" for a 2. Then went for a cover following a "forearm uppercut" for a long 2. Gotch then locked on the "GOTCH TOEHOLD" but Brody made the ropes. Brody grabs momentum and hits his "JUMPING KNEE DROP" but Gotch kicked out. But Gotch wore the big fella down and won via the "Iowa Backdrop" 18:34.

Russell: "ECW looking pretty strong in this tourny so far but Brody only needs one move sometimes and he hit it."

Schvione: "He hit it indeed but give Gotch credit for kicking out and then wearing the big man down for the win."

Ross: "Well Gotch ain't no push over, thats for sure. And he has added that little extra dimension by using some of the cruiserweight moves."

"Nature Boy" Buddy Rogers vs Nick Bockwinkle W/Bobby Heenan: Buddy Rogers was on a tear. He hit the "jumping knee smash" and then quickly followed with the "FIGURE FOUR GRAPEVINE" but Bobby Heenan distracted the ref and Rogers by jumping on the apron. Heenan threw brass knucks to Bockwinkle who slipped then on and hit Rogers. But the ref turned around in time to see it and DQ Bockwinkle 2:31 Rogers advances.

Schvione: "What a damn shame. Rogers probably would have won anyway but that was disgracefull for Heenan to do that."

**"Divide" by Disturbed plays and out walks new Ring Of Destiny announcer Joey Styles!**

Schvione: "Welcome Joey to the broadcast area."

Styles: "Thanks guys. I have to say, It's an honor to be calling Ring Of Destiny."

Ring Of Destiny Championship:
Mike Quakenbush(C) vs. Adam Pearce: "Scrap Iron" completely dominated eventually winning with a "spinebuster slam" Adam Pearce is the new Ring Of Destiny Champion. 9:54

Styles: "Adam Pearce was completely dominant and showed his metal."

Ross: "Well nice pun Joey but be that as it may, Adam Pearce did look impressive."

US Title tournament final
"Magnificent" Don Muraco W/Sherrie Martel vs Rikidozan: Back and forth match. Both men fought hard to be the first US Champion. Rikidozan eventually wore down the bigger man and won via his "overhead chops". 14:41 Rikidozan is the new US Champion.

Schvione: "Rikidozan has done it! The first US Champion in the new NWA history."

Russell: "Congrats go out to Rikidozan."

Ross: "Next fans are the semi final matches for the NWA Championship."

Styles: "I for one can't wait."

semi final match NWA Championship
Antonio Rocca vs. "Nature Boy" Buddy Rogers: The interesting storyline for this match is that both of these men are chasing Iron Sheik for the Central States Championship. Epic battle. Both guys pulled out all the stops. But it was a "springboard moonsault" outside the ring by Rocca on to Rogers that led to the countout victory by Rocca. Rocca got back in at 8 seconds but Rogers failed to make it back before the ten count. 21:18 Rocca advances to the finals.

Schvione: "That was one hell of a match between those CSW stars."

Ross: "Well don't get to cocky just because you are the CSW announcer. We are all under the NWA banner Tony."

Schvione: "I'm proud of that fact Jim. Hey; proof is out there how good CSW is. Rikidozan is the current US Champ and Rocca and Rogers just put on a clinic."

Russell: "Thats enough from both of you. We still have other matches to call gentlemen."

semi final match NWA Championship:
Johnny Valentine vs. Frank Gotch: Another interesting storyline as Valentine is the ECW Champ and Gotch is his #1 challenger. Valentine hit Gotch with two "ATOMIC SKULLCRUSHER"s and a "powerbomb" on the floor but Gotch still would not go down. Gotch locked on the "GOTCH TOEHOLD" on Valentine for the victory. 7:11 Frank Gotch faces Antonio Rocca for the NWA Title.

Russell: "We all thought Gotch was going to go down at one point but he overcame Valentines offense to win."

Schvione: "Rocca vs Gotch will be a hell of a match."

Ross: "Next will be the NWA Tag Team Championship as the Champions The Fabulous Kangaroos defend their titles against The Midnight Express. Lets head to the ring."

NWA Tag Team Championship:
The Fabulous Kangaroos(C) W/"Wild" Red Berry vs The Midnight Express W/Jim Cornette: Short but intense, action packed match. The match went outside a couple times with the Express getting the better of it usually. Until it spilled out the last time and Heffernan reversed Condrey into the guardrail. Heffernan threw Condrey back in the ring, made the tag and he and Costello hit the "BOMMERANG" but Eaton made the save. Condrey fought back and made a tag to Eaton and he and Condrey hit the "VEG-O-MATIC" on Costello. Heffernan tried to make the save but was cut off by Eaton as the ref counted 1-2-3! 9:00

Gary Michael Cappetta: "The winners at 9:00 and NEWWWWW NWA Tag Team Champions, "Beautiful" Bobby Eaton and "Loverboy" Dennis Condrey, The Midnight Express!"

Ross: "Helluva match as The Express did it."

Schvione: "I honestly didn't know if they could pull it off but they got hot at the right time."

Russell: "Well fans. With only one match left tonight. On behalf of everyone here tonight, we would like to thank all of you for tuning in to Clash Of The Champions two. Your continued support helps keep us doing what we love."

Ross: "Amen."

Schvione: "The NWA Championship is next. Rocca vs. Gotch. Lets go to the ring."

Finals; NWA Championship
Antonio Rocca vs Frank Gotch: Rocca had Gotchs number. He went for a pin following the "victory roll" but got a long 1. Went for another pin following the "flying head scissors" for a 2. Rocca then locked in a "bow and arrow" that Gotch could not get out of. 2:17

Gary Michael Cappetta: "The winner at 2:17 and NEWWWW NWA Champion, Antonio Rocca!"

**Rocca jumps as high as humanly possible in celebration. Gotch, seething and holding his back, spin Rocca around. The two lock eyes and Gotch puts his hand out to shake. Rocca shakes his hand and Gotch walks away. Rocca continues the celebration as confetti starts to fall.

Clash of the Champions 3: Redemption

MLW Arena
Las Vegas, NV

Ross: "Welcome NWA fans to Clash of the Champions 3. I'm Jim Ross, sitting next to my broadcast colleagues Tony Schvione, Lance Russell and Joey Styles. What a night this is gentlemen."

Schvione: "This night has been on the fans and wrestlers minds for weeks now. It's finally here and you can feel the intensity."

Russell: "No doubt about that Tony."

Styles: "I for one can not wait to see the confrontation between Adam Pearce and Mike Quakenbush. They haven't been able to touch each other for weeks now."

Schvione: "Explosive situation for sure Joey. I want to see how Frank Gotch recovers from losing the ECW Title just days before the biggest match of his career, as he goes one on one with the NWA Champion Antonio Rocca."

Ross: "Those matches and much, much more fans."

(WCCW)Red Lyons and Red Bastien vs The Heavenly Bodies W/Jim Cornette: Backstory: Lyons lost a match to Greg Valentine the show after Clash 2. The Heavenly Bodies jumped him in the back while he was packing his things. Lyons partner, Red Bastien wasn't there. A series of matches since have been DQ's. Lyons tagged in Bastien and they hit "rapid fire dropkicks" and then Bastien hit the "ATOMIC DROP" for the pin before anyone knew what happened. 2:00

Ted Dibiase's famous laugh is heard and out comes the Money Inc/Heenan Family of the Ortons, Rude, Bundy, DiBiase, Virgil, Brody, Heenan and Bockwinkle.

DiBiase: "Shut up you imbeciles. It's a disgrace that noone from the greatest family in wrestling has a match tonight. You people don't really deserve to see us wrestle but this is a big show. You can't have a big show without your stars."

With that, NWA committee member Verne Gagne walks out.

Gagne: "You want a match tonight huh DiBiase? How about Rude and Bundy come out later. I have a tag team they can face."

DiBiase: "Ooooooh, were scared. Bring it on old man."

Timber vs Claudio Castagnoli: Incredible match. Timber set up a table mid-ring and launched Claudio into the ropes. Timber then powerslammed Claudio through the table for a 2 count. Castagnoli made a comeback and hit the "RICOLA BOMB" for the win. Fans were chanting R.O.D; R.O.D!!! 9:04

Styles: "Thats what Ring Of Destiny is all about gentlemen."

Russell: "Not my style, forgive the pun."

The cage is being lowered.

4 on 4 elimination hardcore cage match. The first team eliminated leaves East Coast Wrestling.
DDP, Crusher, L. Hennig and S. Williams vs Candido, Credible, Corino and Sabu:

Corino eliminated by Williams by "lariat"
Credible eliminated by DDP "DIAMOND CUTTER"
Crusher eliminated by Sabu "TRIPLE JUMP MOONSAULT +3" **Crusher had 6 tokens**
L. Hennig eliminated by Candido "BLONDE BOMB"
Sabu broken by S. Williams "Doctor Bomb" **Sabu 8 tokens**
Candido eliminated by DDP "swinging neckbreaker"

DDP and Steve Williams were the survivors. The crowd starts a goodbye chant for the Extreme Horsemen as they are now kicked out of East Coast Wrestling. Where will they end up?

Dan "The Beast" Severn vs Johnny Valentine: non title match. Severn said he wanted a shot at the champ. Here it is. Be careful what you wish for. Back and forth match. Valentine hit a "forearm bludgeon" for a two count. "ATOMIC SKULLCRUSHER" for the win. 5:38

Ring of Destiny Championship:
Adam Pearce(C) vs Mike Quakenbush: Intense staredown to start. They butt heads and jaw at each other. Quakenbush had the title won two different occasions. Quack nailed a "running palm strikes" but Timber ran down and pulled the ref off. Mike then hit a "QUAKENDRIVER II", but Larry Sweeny ran down and distracted Quakenbush and the ref. This allowed Pearce enough time to collect himself and hit a "JUMPING PILEDRIVER' for the win. 6:13

Sweeny, Timber and Adam Pearce stand tall in the ring and raise their arms in victory.

NWA Tag Team Championship:
Midnight Express(C) vs Hodge and Hutton: The Express narrowly win. Hodge and Hutton had Eaton beaten (hehe) if not for 2 pin saves by Condrey. Eaton was able to make a tag and Condrey went to work on the smaller Hodge. First Condrey hit a "FACE FIRST LEG SWEEP' and then he tagged in Eaton for the 'ROCKET LAUNCHER" for the win. 7:29

Schvione: "The Midnight Express were not pretty but they retained their titles"

Central States Wrestling Championship:
Iron Sheik(C) vs Buddy Rogers. no DQ and no interference allowed. Iron Sheik retains his hold on the Central States Title by defeating Buddy Rogers with the "CAMEL CLUTCH". 4:59 Buddy Rogers pounds the mat in disgust.

Ross: "Very surprising outcome fans. Many had predicted that without the help of WMD, Iron Sheik would lose."

Bobby Heenan escorts Rick Rude and king Kong Bundy to the ring.

Heenan: "So Verne, who did you get to be destroyed by my boys? Hey boys, Verne Gagne is so old, he farts fossils!"

The three laugh hysterically until they hear "I AM IRON MAN" and then the smiles fade as Paul Ellering and The Road Warriors came out of the tunnel. They haven't been seen in months.

Rude and Bundy vs The Road Warriors: Good back and forth match until Bundy was DQ'd for throwing Hawk into the guardrail. The ref called for the bell but these 4 kept fighting. It took all sorts of security personnel to break them up.

United States Championship:
Rikidozan(C) vs Buff Bagwell: Bagwell earned this title shot after a non title victory a few weeks ago. Bagwell may have been way to cocky. He flex posed at Rikidozan who abruptly hit Bagwell with a "slap to chest" and pinning combo. 0:41 Buff is slapping the canvas in anger. The fans are laughing at him.

Russell: "He may lose quick but he looks good doing it."

NWA Championship:
Antonio Rocca(C) vs Frank Gotch: Rocca made a critical mistake. Rocca went for a flying forearm but was given a "hot shot". Gotch wore down the ankle and gave Rocca the "GOTCH TOEHOLD" for the win. 3:46

The winner..........AND NEEEEEW NWA Champion....Frank Gotch!!

Gotch, just days from losing the East Coast Championship, is the new NWA Champion. He clutches the belt and drops to his knees. Confetti starts to fall from the arena ceiling.

But noone sees Nick Bockwinkle sneak up behind Gotch and nail him with a steel chair to the back of the skull! Gotch drops like a ton of bricks as Bockwinkle just stares at him.
