After FIVE months undefeated as Galaxian Tag Team Champions in my fed, Brute and Massacre were toppled by the Flying Titans... Pit Viper and Pulsar at my mid year PPV. Man, the dice do not lie! What do you all think of this? Would this be considered an upset in the early days of the GWF?

Not sure...but I am thinking possibly. Now, if it was the Brute & Massacre of 2091...then a resounding YES.

In my fed, that probably would have been considered a big upset. I don't remember Viper and Pulsar having much success against the Gladiators or Greek Gods. Viper held up pretty good, but Pulsar's youth seemed to seal their fate . Agree with Mynnotaur though. After their cleansing, those Glads became hard to touch for a bit . Rematch!?! ;D

I think it's great from a story perspective, but I don't think it's all that out of whack from a game perspective. That's one of the things I really enjoy about this game - you never know what is going to happen.

Interestingly...Pit Viper and Pulsar won my initial tag tourney over....Brute and Massacre. B and M did recover though.

Brute & Massacre have been the most dominate team in my fed's history. I am halfway through 2091 and right now they hold all three tag titles...the GWF Tag Belts, the IP tag titles and the War Games tag titles. No one has really touched them since 2090 when they got their new cards. The Greek Gods/Gladiators feud was awesome and bloody from 2087 to 2089, but when they got their new cards, they are pretty much unstoppable. In 2091, the Gods, GalactiCops, Bomb Squad, Cosmic Force or even Titan Power cannot even come close to them.

Wow, in my online restart the Gladiators only have one upset loss.....to Pit Viper and Pulsar (see the fed forum). They demolished them in the rematch, but the fact remains that Viper and Pulsar are far tougher than people realize. All of the tag options on Pulsar's defense help him get out of tough situations, and they're just agile enough to counter the power advantage of a team like the Gladiators.
