Soooo I'm planning my trip. I'll be leaving on July 5th for NYC with my friend Sergio. We're going to spend the week in the city hitting the Yankees/Sox game on Saturday the 5th and the Mets/Giants game on the 8th. Anyone want to go? Also I was wondering if anyone in the NYC area is driving to Jamestown on Friday... and if so, can I tag along? I'll help with gas, dudes! Does it cost anything to just be at Galacticon?

I believe it was a $10 entrance fee last year. I may be incorrect on the price, but it doesn't matter, because whatever you pay, its worth it.

I want to say it's a little more than that, but TM would know for sure. As jmello said, it's not cost-prohibitive. Just make sure to bring some extra cash for all the COTG and LOW goodies- inevitably there's some unexpected surprises you'll want to get.

Last year there was some really good stuff. Auctions are where you need to have some extra dollars.

I'd say with all the stuff you can get for sale (by Fed HQ and promoters) or at auction, bring at least $100 in the door. Especially if you want to beat Pete F. or Jim Steinhoff for the right to desecrate the annual Greg Valentine poster.

Its definately worth the cost
What everyone has said is true bring extra cash especially if you looking to possibly win a few things in the auction which always has some great stuff

Can't go wrong with bringing some extra money just in case.
