Sorry I asked. I guess if a member of the Inner Circle ever poses the question, we can get a response.

It would be interesting to hear. It seems like COTG online wasn't even on the radar when the first set came out, so I am wondering how that would work...since they had no idea they may need, say Harley Race, for the online portion of the game.
But correct me if I'm wrong Osk, Tournament Master - We can still buy create a character cards and input a Legend if they wont be available thru online correct? And they (the Legend in the online portion and the create a character) can still battle correct?
If there are only a few missing, heck, I'd shell out for CAC cards if they are still able to battle against one another.
But I'm hoping for the most with Legends online. This is my first COTG love and it's hard to play when you work, are married, have kids that are active in a variety of things...if I could have this at my finger tips, and if I'm able to run it as a sim, man, would be a great thing!!!!! I could probably restart my GWF stuff!

Part of my concern stems from a story that I heard a promoter tell about trying to get his card signed by RW Animal. If I remember the details correctly, Animal was bothered by the card as it didn't remember signing the contract. Unless I'm off base, I can't imagine a wrestler with this attitude agreeing to give digital rights.
There are probably other wrestlers who don't remember signing, and whose situation may have changed to the point that they won't be as agreeable now.

Yeah, that was Toasterboy who told him, in an angry voice, "Is that Filsinger dude here?" From the way Toasterboy (I think) talked is Hawk is the one who negotiated the deal with Tom. It would be funny, no offense Tom, to see Animal running after Tom at some convention. ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png)

I remember someone mentioned that Ivan Koloff didn't remember signing the contract when someone asked for an autograph on the card. They seemed to remember he wasn't mad, just wasn't sure exactly what it was. But I could see that...

Hopefully, these types of stories are few and far between.

Hopefully, these types of stories are few and far between. I really think they are. I know Toasterboy and WErner have gone to a few conventions and have gotten a lot of cards signed by guys there and all signed. I have a Bundy one signed (this was before even Legends came out) and he lit up when he found out about the game. He was almost in shock someone in Louisville came up to him at a show and had him sign a card from Filsinger

I hope Animals position has changed, because he is going to be a Wrestle Reunion and I was going to bring my card for him to sign, but if he is going to react the same way to Grant then, I might just forget about it.

Actually, I think the problem with Animal MAY have been that I have him sign the updated art card. SO it may not have been the card he remembered. In other news, I sent my Ivan Koloff card to him and he gladly signed and returned it. It's always an adventure! Animal's going to be at WrestleReunion. Maybe I'll have him sign the other one. > ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/wink.png)
