First- and we all know our GWF histories- don't we- biys and girls??---- LOL--- BUT why did Killer Queen abandon Vanity? If he went through so much trouble to get Vanity to turn away from the Croppers, why did he just toss Vanity aside? Was vanity not that flamboyant? Well- what do you all think? Was it because he just couldn't win any matches with Vanity as his tag team partner? Was it because Vanity just plain sucks??? Well (again)-- I had Killer Queen leave Vanity crying injured in the middle of the ring after they lost to the Croppers in a tag match a few cards ago... and then Queen begain tagging with King for more success... and they just CRUSHED the Croppers... with Vanity appearing on the HUGE screen in the arena and calling out the Croppers... threatening revenge against Vanity for abandoning him. What do you think of a short Vanity-Queen feud as i get to the close of 2087? All responses would be greatly appreciated.

I felt that Queen didn't abandoned Vanity...anymore than Executioner abandoned Ghengis Khan...but that Thantos needed all his 'talent' in deck to stem the 'tag title' crisis when he finally gave up on getting the Glads services.
-OR-
Queen got tired of losing
-OR-
Exo-King ordered him to spend his talents with the Family and not with the 'worthless peon peacock'.
(Not canon...just my thoughts)

I don't think Killer Queen abandoned Vanity either....rather that Vanity tired of being second best in the Punks, looked to surround himself with brainless beasts e.g. Creeper and Serpent Unman...I believe Vanity left the Queen high and dry to try and become a leader of some yet to be formed group...
Killer Queen (obviously the most talented of the two) simply went back to the Royal Family and actually had a more successful career anyhow...

I always looked at it as a mutual decision on their part. For the most part in my games Killer Queen and Vanity get along famously, I belive I've implied that they're a couple now and then but despite that they're not really a good tag team. Thus they agreed to split up to try their luck with different partners.

I look at it as they both went in different directions. Vanity broke out the Creeper and had a new tag team partner and a year later he had a valet in Sweet Thing. Killer Queen focused more on his duties to the Royal Court. Queen of course formed a tag team with Exo-King and then the Mad Jester.
And look at later years. As soon as their priorities were similar they paired back up. I think they w ere honestly, two very good friends that saw their lives going in different directions for about a decade.

It seems like a mutual decision to me. Killer Queen is looking out for number one, and has much better prospects with the Royal Court. Vanity doesn't want to share the spotlight with anyone; what better way to have all eyes on you than to partner with a monster?

i think eveyone else pretty much covered it...mutal split for reason both decided were priorities at that time and for a while afterward.

What if Vanity left because he found out that Killer Queen had a bigger ego then he did ?
