I currently own the COTG 2087 Intro Box and the 2088-2090 Invasion sets. There is a list on these forums of the story year expansions, but I am interested in finding out what the chronological order of the other supplements for COTG are relative to the story year expansions.
I hope that made sense. For example, when was the first supplement with the wrestler bios released relative to the year that was current in the COTG storyline? When were the updated chart cards released?
I would like to buy all of the COTG products in the order that they were originally released. If someone knows the order, I would love it if you would share. Is the info already on the forums somewhere and I just haven't found it?
Thanks!

I'm not talking about Invasion, War Games, etc. I'm not talking about what is seen here... www.filsingergames.com/os-category.php?a=5I'm talking about items like the GWF Ringside Companion and the 2007 Update Charts. What was the storyline expansion year that came before and after the Companion? What was the storyline expansion year that came before and after the 2007 Charts? I don't think I'm a total idiot. I did know that all the storyline expansions have a year (like 2087) associated with them.

I'm talking about items like the GWF Ringside Companion and the 2007 Update Charts. What was the storyline expansion year that came before and after the Companion? What was the storyline expansion year that came before and after the 2007 Charts? There were originally three Ringside Companions. The first one came out in game year 2096. It commemorated the 10 year anniversary of the game. Ringside Companion 2107 came out as named. There was also a Ringside Companion 2112. I no longer see it sold online but many of those matches are sold separately (as double sided charts). There are future plans to release a Ringside Anthology (a PDF with all the previously released charts from the other Ringside Companions, all the official game edition charts from all the FG brands that have been released since 2112 plus new material) but its completion and eventual release date are unknown. A 2007 chart update coincides between the GWF 2121-2122 sets. Keep in mind that with the 2119 New Beginning set the GWF was downsized dramatically and the story arc was written in such a way that the new roster was self contained (meaning one could start with 2119 without needing 2118 or any other prior set). The chart update was in line with a style of game play that was more fast pace & offensive minded (ie. the Choice Situations chart has higher roll success probability outcomes, there are more Level 3 and Pin opportunities, Add 1 move consequences appear, the ref can get knocked out, etc.). Depending on the style of game play you enjoy (methodical vs quick) you can use the new charts for any game period. It is more a matter of preference than anything else.
