Underground Television: 11/22/2009
Bryan Danielson comes down to the ring to kick off the show. He's got all of the singles championships in Underground Wrestling. No one has achieved that during the first year and a half of this promotions existence and he doubts that anyone could achieve this again. He realizes that everyone is gunning for him now. He's got a title defense against Brodie Lee later tonight and Crossbones later this week. These belts aren't going anywhere anytime soon.

He was the NWA World Heavyweight Champion for over a year. As Sweeney continues Mike Quackenbush's music hits. Mike Quackenbush walks down to the ring. He just wants Sweeney to know that he'll personally be in Eddie Kingston's corner next week. So there can be no funny business at all. Mike Quackenbush also mentions that his close personal friend Delirious will be at ringside. Sweeney laughs at this announcement. He says he'll just have to bring the Heartbreak Express down to ringside with him to even the odds. It looks like this will be a regular lumberjack match.

Danielson went for Butcher and nailed him with an uppercut. Danielson turned and got clocked with a right hand from Lee. Lee covered for the three count. Brodie Lee is the new Underground Television Champion. The referee goes to raise his hand but finds a roll of quarters in Lee's hand. The referee reverses the decision and disqualifies Brodie Lee for using a foreign object.

Commissioner's Report #1
by Commissioner Charlie Cox
Welcome to my new hopefully weekly column for Underground Wrestling. My goal is to write this weekly but my duties as Underground Wrestling Commissioner might interfere from time to time. I'll be using this space to look at the direction of the promotion as a whole.
The first big announcement is the New Year's Eve Countdown Online PPV. This show will feature 8 matches and will be available on Itunes for $9.99. The first match that has been signed for this show is Harker Dirge vs. Necro Butcher inside of the steel cage. Those guys have had some serious heat going on the last few weeks. We decided that it could only be settled inside of the cage.
If you haven't noticed. Underground Wrestling is the proud owner of a brand new steel cage. Mike Quackenbush and Larry Sweeney will be having the very first cage match in Underground Wrestling. Everyone in Underground Wrestling is very excited about the fact that the cage can now play a role in matches.
Speaking of the upcoming week, we've got some big matches. On the Outlaw Cast this Wednesday we'll see Bryan Danielson put the NOW Heavyweight Title on the line against Patriot III and Rob James in a threeway dance. Rob James has been one of the few Northern Outlaw Wrestling talents to achieve any real success in Underground Wrestling. It should be an interesting match but I don't think either of the NOW guys are anywhere near Danielson's level. He's just been on a role lately.
Danielson has a tough December ahead of him. He has to face Erick Stevens in a rematch for the Underground Television Title this week. Stevens absolutely dominated him in the first match. The Double DQ was a real letdown. Can Stevens achieve that same level of success this weekend?
Danielson also has to worry about who the fans are voting for as his first title challenger. Chris Hero, Mike Quackenbush, Sam Hayne, Erick Stevens, Adam Pearce and Delirious are all close in the voting. If you want to vote for this match just PM me and let me know.
There's been some dissent in Age of the Fall the last 24 hrs. Tyler Black has been enraged by the fact that Jimmy Jacobs wrestled a deathmatch the week before their big title defense. Jacobs is pretty banged up and it's going to give them a pretty big disadvantage against the Young Bucks.
Well, that's all the time that I've got for this week. Send a PM if you've got a question for Commissioner Charlie Cox. Until next week!
