I'd like to take this time to rally support around one of the best artists, and best people I've ever had the pleasure to work with and know -
Werner Mueck.
I've been working with Werner on Promoter Madness/GWFZ sets along with numerous other GWFZ projects for the past 4 going on 5 years now. I can't express just how lucky I am to have him as an ally.
Werner always brings his A game. He understands exactly what I'm looking for when we are working on new characters, and he's always on time with deadlines. I've worked with a lot of people in a lot of different areas in my life and few if any work as hard as Werner.
I'm writing this because I'm sitting here less than 12 hours away from sending the final edits for the GWFZ InvaZion 2124 game cards to my printer and Werner is working on an emergency inking job for the last character as we speak.
Short story is something came up, had to be done at the 11th hour and one call to Werner and boom - it's being done.
Werner has been an honest, loyal, tireless working friend, promoter and artist for this community for a long time now. He's worked on LOTF SE cards, POW sets, COTGonline coloring and all the GWFZ sets. He's drawn every L-FSCE card too. I believe his time has come. He has proved worthy of being trusted with even the biggest Filsinger Games projects.
For a guy who's resume has grown leaps and bounds over the past few years, I sincerely hope everyone out there supports Werner the way he - a decorated professional artist - deserves and has earned the right to be supported.
Chewey brought this up a few months ago and it's time it gets brought up again. Werner has made it. He is no longer a fellow promoter playing the role of starving artist doing work for peanuts trying to break through. He's broken through and GWFZ InvaZion 2124 is imo his finest work ever.
I'm not shy in admitting I pay Werner up to $25 per drawing. He's worth every penny and I would hope everyone in the community would feel the same.
Thank you Werner for all your hard work. I am very proud to work with you. The GWFZ is as awesome as it is in a big part due to your unique and trend setting style.
As everyone can tell, I'm SUPER pumped up about GWFZ InvaZion 2124. The art I've shown so far is all outstanding and there's way more where that came from!
Thanks again Werner!
