LWF: Legends of Wrestling FederationThe Promotion- LWF has been around since 2003.
- I've run 199 cards since 2003 and am going to start posting to the filsingergames board with my 200th card.
- Posts will occur as I run the cards. There's no regular schedule. I hope to do at least one card a month.
- There are two developmental federations -- Ring of Victory and Legends South. Each runs a 6-week mini-season during the LWF off-season. More on these later.
- There are international federations that are assumed to be running in the background during the regular LWF season. These are Legends Japan, Legends Europe and Legends Lucha. Outside of a brief mention that such-and-such was a champion once in these federations, there is no mention of these feds. They exist in background mode.
- There are also assumed to be other federations unaffiliated with the LWF. This is where inactive wrestlers compete while they are not on the LWF roster.
The Season- The LWF runs a season of cards -- roughly 20 events in a year.
- The season begins with a special Season Premiere at Madison Square Garden and ends with Legendsmania.
- Each season contains a number of special events and tournaments.
- There are also two "award" ceremonies each year: The PWI Top 5 and the PWI Annual Awards.
The Schedule- All LWF promotions go 2 smaller shows followed by one larger, more important one.
- Some special events like the Legends Cup and World Tag Grand Prix happen outside of the normal LWF schedule of events. This is mainly because they feature wrestlers who are not currently active in the LWF.
The Roster- The LWF roster is composed of wrestlers from the official Legends of Wrestling game and expansions, as well as Cory's LOW Bootlegs and a few of my own that I've put together. Just a few though. Precedence is given to actual LOW wrestlers.
The Pursuit- Each title has a contender ladder that is 6 men deep. To win a spot in the LWF, you have to beat one of the men on the contender's ladder. To move up the ladder, you have to beat someone above you.
- To get a title shot, a competitor must be on the contender's ladder AND have won 3 consecutive matches. Generally, a competitor wins two matches and then is put in a match against another competitor who has won two matches to earn a title shot.
- Pinning a reigning champion in a non-title situation is equivalent to winning 2 matches, often enough to earn them a title shot.
Competitors who win a title shot as a prize in a tournament or as part of a stipulation get the title shot whether or not they've won any matches prior to the prize. The PrizeThe LWF recognizes 4 titles: - LWF World Championship
- LWF World Tag-Team Championship
- Legends Heritage Title (a cruiserweight title)
- LWF Women's Title
The Method- I roll with a customized version of the LOW rules. When I play it is with pencil, paper and dice. I use the framework of TV Pro Wrestling and the charts and wrestling cards from LOW. It's a fun system that works for me.
- Dice determine all results. This is a non-storyline promotion. So no angles or storylines outside what the dice provide.
Special Events- Season Premiere - a "Fray" match that gives LotF guys and lesser used LOW guys a chance to join the roster
Money in the Bank ladder match
- World Tag Grand Prix - 8 tag team tournament. Winner gets a chance to join LWF roster
- Night of Champions - Every major LWF title is on the line on one PPV -- even the developmental titles.
- Royal Rumble - Winner gets a title shot
- Legends Cup - 16 man singles tournament featuring wrestlers not currently active in the LWF. Winner joins roster the following season.

Off-Season Developmental: LWF Ring of Victory (ROV)The FederationRing of Victory runs a 6 or 9 card schedule in the LWF's off-season, depending on how good I've been with the regular LWF season. The RosterRing of Victory's roster is composed of wrestlers in the Legends of the Future line, as well as wrestlers in LOW that I feel are more appropriate to the Ring of Victory style. This would include more modern wrestlers like Sabu, Sandman. There are a handful of wrestlers from the LOW Bootleg site that are included in the roster as well as one or two bootlegs of my own. The PrizeRing of Victory recognizes two titles: - Legends Continental Championship
- LWF US Tag Team Championship

Off-Season Developmental: LWF Legends of Championship Rasslin (LCR)The Federation- Championship Rasslin' runs a 6 card schedule in the LWF's off-season. But sometimes doesn't depending on how the regular LWF season went.
- Championship Rasslin' is dice based, as in the dice determine the results. But there may be storylines or angles thrown in from time-to-time.
The RosterLCR's roster is made up primarily of Travis' Legends of Memphis cards with a few applicable LOW cards added in. The PrizeChampionship Rasslin' recognizes two titles: - LWF Southern Championship
- LWF Southern Tag-Team Championship
