Just wanted to post in this thread that I finally caved (well, finally got some spare cash and ordered all three LOTF editions. I'm really looking forward to getting the cards and incorporating them into my LOW fed. Thanks to all who replied in this topic.

Since you live in NJ like me, you are close to a bunch of great ROH and Chikara cards, so if you like the characters you can see them live some day soon. Can say that with most of the LOW guys.

You are correct, Tournament Master. Believe it or not I haven't been to a live ROH or Chikara event yet but I do own a variety of DVD's from both promotions and I enjoy them. Looking forward to getting the LOTF cards, they can't get here fast enough ;D

For the price of 1 WWE live event you can go to 3 of these shows and have a blast.

I was "in the house" when Austin Aries became the first 2-time ROH world champion, saw Eddie Edwards wrestle an insane ladder match with a broken elbow and saw (thus far) the final appearance of Bryan Danielson & Nigel McGuinness in ROH. Wrestling memories that will last a lifetime, all for around $40, keeping plenty of cash in the piggy bank for more LotF cards!

I actually have to make a correction. While I have never been to a Chikara show I did attend an ROH show in my home area of Morristown, NJ, back in 2005 at the Mennan Sports Arena. It was Death Before Dishonor III headlined by an awesome Punk-Aries bout plus AJ Styles vs. Petey Williams on the undercard. I have the DVD of that show also.
I wish ROH, or any promotion for that matter, would return to this area as the only thing currently taking place in that building are ice skating lessons and the rare "D" level concert or circus performance.
Most of my attended shows over the years have been WWE or NWA/AWA (for the ill fated Pro Wrestling USA) along with various indy groups but I would leave to see ROH live again and of course would love to see Chikara in person. Maybe one of these days.

My cards came today, all three sets. Didn't have a chance to fully examine them thanks to work but will check them out later tonight. Gotta say I love the card art in the new set and that MsChif card rocks. Thanks to everyone involved with FG for all of their hard work putting these sets together
