Gotch over Hack was classic. Have a feeling that King of Men will be a three time champion.

LOW Northern Wrestling Corporation - Catholic Youth Center - Scranton, PA (Card #747)
1) Drake Younger defeated George South: Impressive NWC newcomer “Psycho Shooter” Drake Younger out of Indianapolis, IN, was dominant in this win over George South of LOW All-Star Wrestling. He got the advantage quickly and only needed a couple of moves before he planted South with an Exploder Suplex and scored the pin.
2) Sabu & Rob Van Dam defeated Heartbreak Express: Manager Bill Alfonso led former LOW World tag team champions Sabu & Rob Van Dam into battle against the cult favorite Heartbreak Express (Fabulous Phil Davis & Superstar Sean Davis) out of LOW All-Star Wrestling. The popular Sabu and RVD looked great early using their speed and teamwork, including Rolling Thunder, to maintain control. The Express bounced back and scored several two counts on Sabu with the tandem Irish Whip and Flying Butt Bomb and drop toe hold and big splash. RVD hit the Five Star Frog Splash on Phil for a big near fall but Sean made the save. Late in the bout it was Sabu decking Sean with a punch and then delivering a Moonsault (ch) to score the pin on the 320-pounder.
3) Cowboy Bob Orton defeated Pepper Gomez: The popular Pepper Gomez out of Mexico City, Mexico, took on “The Ace” Cowboy Bob Orton in a highly anticipated singles bout. Both men are looking to move up the rankings of the NWC and knew that a win here could go a long way in getting them a title opportunity. Gomez looked strong early scoring a two count after hitting an atomic drop. He also nearly scored a count out victory after he caught a charging Orton with a back bodydrop out on the floor. An airplane spin had Orton reeling but then the crafty veteran out of St. Louis, MO, caught Gomez with a counter out of the corner followed by a middle rope splash. A short time later Orton put Gomez on the top turnbuckle and executed his patented finisher, the Superplex, to score the pin.
4) Samoan Island Tribe vs. Chris Hero & Tyler Black was a DDQ: An anticipated tag team battle ended in controversy through no fault of the participants. The Samoan Island Tribe (Alofa & Samu) took on Chris Hero & Tyler Black with both teams looking to gain a big win. Hero and Black stirred up the crowd pre-match by holding up a Ring of Honor banner brought to ringside by a fan. This was all action from start to finish but it was ruined with the unexpected arrival of The Sheepherders (Butch Miller & Luke Williams) who hit the ring and immediately went after Alofa and Samu. Hero and Black bailed out of the ring as the referee called for the bell ordering a double disqualification. The SIT and The Sheepherders went at it post-match as LOW officials hit the ring trying to break up the melee. It finally ended when Miller and Williams retreated to the back leaving the SIT to soak up the cheers of the crowd.
●It was learned following the match that The Sheepherders (Butch Miller & Luke Williams) have ended their run as freelance stars in LOW and have signed contracts with the NWC. The two targeted the SIT for attack as a payback attempt for losing to them on the last card at Madison Square Garden in New York, NY (Card #735). As a result NWC officials have announced that the two teams will meet in a rematch on the next card at MSG (Card #752) which should be an explosive confrontation.
5) Andre the Giant, Jimmy Snuka, & Diamond Dallas Page defeated The Warlord, Johnny Valentine, & Greg Valentine by DQ: An all-star six-man tag team match saw the undefeated “Eighth Wonder of the World” Andre the Giant join forces with Jimmy “Superfly” Snuka and Jersey Shore native Diamond Dallas Page to battle the Captain Lou Albano-led trio of The Warlord, Johnny Valentine, & Greg “The Hammer” Valentine. The main focus was on the confrontation between Andre and the powerful Warlord. Early on it was Andre nearly pinning The Warlord after delivering a turnbuckle squash. Snuka looked great during his time in with some electrifying offense including the leap frog and chop. It would come down to Andre delivering another turnbuckle squash, this time to Johnny, for what looked to be a sure pin but Greg saved his father from being pinned with an elbow from the top rope. The illegal top rope attack resulted in the referee calling for the bell giving Andre, Snuka, and DDP the victory via disqualification.
6) Nikolai Volkoff & Iron Sheik defeated Jerry Lynn & Arik Cannon: This grudge battle between Jerry Lynn & Arik Cannon and Nikolai Volkoff & Iron Sheik ended in pretty quick fashion. Cannon was returning to action from a neck injury inflicted by Volkoff and Sheik and both he and Lynn were poised to gain some revenge. The action was explosive from the opening bell with Lynn dominating but he was cut off by Volkoff and caught with a Throat Drop on the Ropes for the pin. Just like that it was over but Cannon got some payback post-match as he knocked Volkoff out of the ring and laid out Sheik with the Glimmering Warlock to cheers from the crowd.
7) Bobo Brazil defeated Gorgeous George: An epic semi-final bout saw Bobo Brazil take on Gorgeous George, accompanied by his valet Cherie Dupre, in a rematch from the last NWC card where George had his hand raised in victory. George looked strong early catching Brazil with an airplane spin and locking on the Gorgeous Grip for a submission chance. Brazil battled back hard and nailed Gorge with the Coco Butt for a big near fall. Brazil used his size and strength to his advantage and twice more had George near defeat only to have Dupre distract the referee. Speaking of the referee he went down on a top rope dive by George and during that time both he and Brazil executed their finishing moves but no decision could be rendered. This one ended when both men went down from a collision out of the corner and it was Brazil recovering first and blasting George with the Coco Butt to score the pin.
8) LOW International Heavyweight title: The Sheik© defeated Killer Kowalski by DQ to retain the title: A wild main event saw Captain Lou Albano lead Killer Kowalski into battle against The Sheik with the LOW International Heavyweight title at stake. Abdullah Farouk was in the corner of The Sheik opposite Albano making for a most interesting confrontation. Kowalski was dominant early including nailing The Sheik with a running lariat (ch) before taking the fight to the outside. The Sheik gained the upper hand and, with the referee distracted, he caught Kowalski with the Fireball resulting in a big near fall. Kowalski was in great pain from that and an angry Albano confronted Farouk at ringside with the two managers getting into a heated argument. The two again fought out to the floor and that is where this one ended as Kowalski drew a snake eyes disqualification for repeatedly running The Sheik head first into the ring post. It was a painful win for The Sheik who was successful in his version five defense of the championship.

I really liked the attack by the Sheepherders on SIT and their upcoming MSG match should be intense, plus the Sheik retaining was cool and I liked the victory by Cowboy Bob Orton over Gomez...

Thanks for the comments Crimson and AJ. Next up we have action from SHIMMER...
SHIMMER -Women Athletes - The Eagles Club - Berwyn, IL (Card #748)
1) Athena defeated April Hunter: The popular “Wrestling Goddess” Athena took on the tough challenge of “Big Red” April Hunter in the opening match. Both women looked great here with Athena dominating early using her speed and Hunter taking over the latter half of the match using her power advantage. Hunter nailed Athena with the Hunter’s Hangman and a Fisherman’s Suplex for a big near fall. Athena battled back, though, and connected with the O-Face, a top rope diving stunner variation, on Hunter to score the pin.
2) Portia Perez & Sky Low Low defeated Alere Little Feather & Little Beaver: It was mixed-tag team action up next as the combination of Alere Little Feather & Little Beaver took on the Canadian duo of Portia Perez & Sky Low Low. Perez was livid during the ring introductions claiming that having to participate in the match was “beneath her” due to her past as a SHIMMER tag team champion and her recent singles win over Sara Del Ray (Card #738). Beaver did a great job in this one getting the better of his rival Sky and nearly pinned him with the Boomerang. Perez broke that up setting off a wild four-way battle with the referee getting taken down in the process. It came down to Perez cutting off an offensive by Little Feather and scoring the pin with a Superkick. Perez got on the mic afterward and said that her home province of Ontario is “superior” to Quebec where both Beaver and Sky reside. Little Feather then snuck up on Perez and spun her around into a front facelock allowing both Beaver and Sky to bite her backside!
3) Ida Mae Martinez defeated Nicole Matthews: The popular Ida Mae Martinez, a four-time SHIMMER champion out of Norwich, CT, took on the formidable Nicole Matthews. It was all Matthews early as she used her size and power advantage including laying Martinez out with a side backbreaker. Martinez would battle back on the floor and nail Matthews with the Dropkick for a big near fall. A short time later she trapped Matthews in the Texas Cloverleaf scoring a snake eyes submission victory. Matthews was dejected over the loss but went to shake hands post-match only to have Portia Perez run in and hit Martinez from behind. Perez then stared down Matthews, her former partner in the Canadian Ninjas, before leaving the ring.
●Amber Gertner caught up with Portia Perez backstage and she was irate claiming that SHIMMER is trying to “hold her down” and that the Canadian Ninjas should still be together and still be the tag team champions. She said that Nicole Matthews was “cheated out of a victory” in her match with Ida Mae Martinez and dared the four-time champion to face her in a match. Gertner later got word that Martinez accepted the challenge to face Perez on the next card in Berwyn, IL (Card #758).
4) Mildred Burke & Jazz defeated MsChif & Christina Von Eerie: There was a lot of bad blood going into this one as MsChif & Christina Von Eerie took on the formidable and uneasy team of Mildred Burke & Jazz. MsChif has been involved in high profile championship matches with both women while Von Eerie was once put out of action by Jazz. This was a great match and may have been the best Von Eerie has looked since arriving in LOW. She nearly pinned Burke with the 138, a tilt-a-whirl facebuster, and twice survived the painful Alligator Clutch hold locked on by the two-time SHIMMER champion. Jazz used her brute force and aggressive style to work over both opponents and nearly scored the submission victory on MsChif with the STF. MsChif battled back strong hitting key moves like the Gates of Hell II and Gateway to Annihilation but ultimately fell in the end. Burke got the upper hand nailing a fatigued MsChif with the jumping knee followed by a stiff Forearm Uppercut to score the pin.
5) Saraya Knight, Lacey, & Rain defeated Angel Orsini, Allison Danger, & Leva Bates: There was more bad blood in this one as former tag team partners Angel Orsini and Saraya Knight found themselves on opposite teams. Orsini joined forces with the popular duo of Regeneration-X (Allison Danger & Leva Bates), cosplaying as the FBI (Full Blooded Italians of ECW fame), against Knight and the Minnesota Home Wrecking Crew pairing of Lacey & Rain. Orsini and Knight had a great exchange in the early going with Orsini hitting a side slam for a big near fall. Danger and Bates were impressive during their time in until Knight avoided a top rope dive by Bates. The duo of Lacey and Rain took over and would hit the Tomikaze on Bates with Knight covering her for a big near fall. Bates was never able to get back on track and fell victim to a brutal DDT by Knight resulting in the pinfall.
6) Nora Greenwald & Joyce Grable defeated Kellie Skater & Jessie McKay: Yet another grudge tag team battle saw the popular Australian team of the “Rate Tank” Kellie Skater & “Everybody’s Favorite Girlfriend” Jessie McKay going against the veteran duo of Nora Greenwald & Joyce Grable. The last battle between the two teams saw Greenwald and Grable win it by count out so Skater and McKay were out for revenge. They were also looking for revenge for Madison Eagles who is out indefinitely with an injury caused by Greenwald, Grable, and Sherri Martel. Martel, the record seven-time SHIMMER champion, is currently serving an indefinite suspension which will only be lifted when Eagles is cleared to return to the ring. McKay looked great early and nearly pinned Grable after hitting the Boyfriend Stealer, a sitout uranage. Skater also shined hitting her key moves like Skate or Die. Greenwald proved to be the deciding factor in this one when she caught a stunned McKay with the Flapjack and scored the pin. The crowd jeered the decision but Greenwald and Grable soaked it in even taunting the defeated Skater and McKay post-match. Skater met up with Amber Gertner at ringside and gave a passionate speech vowing that her and McKay would “keep coming back” to gain revenge for Eagles.
7) SHIMMER tag team titles: Glamour Girls© defeated Amber O’Neal & Krissy Vaine to retain the titles: The final in a series of big tag team bouts saw SHIMMER tag team gold on the line as the Glamour Girls (Leilani Kai & Judy Martin) made their version three defense of the belts against former champions Team Blondage (Amber O’Neal & Krissy Vaine). This one was incredible from start to finish and was one of the best matches in the now three year history of the championship which combines both LOW and SHIMMER history. There were a ton of near falls including both Kai and Martin saving each other from defeat after taking the Blonde Bomb, a double reverse STO. Martin showed her veteran toughness working over both O’Neal and Vaine in and out of the ring. She also scored a near fall on Vaine with the Power Bomb. The finish saw Kai counter out of a press slam attempt by Vaine and execute the butterfly suplex followed by the Running Splash to score the pin. The crowd erupted in cheers for the win by the Glamour Girls and Team Blondage showed mutual respect by shaking hands with the champions.
8) SHIMMER title: Mercedes Martinez© defeated Penny Banner to retain the title: It has been over four years since Penny Banner, a two-time SHIMMER champion, has held the belt and here she attempted to take it from newly crowned champion the “Latina Sensation” Mercedes Martinez. In her version one defense of the championship, having won it from Cheerleader Melissa (Card #738), Martinez was bound and determined to keep it. She assaulted Banner early and hit her finisher, the Fisherman Buster, for a big near fall. Banner bounced back with some nice offense and hit a flying bodypress off of the top rope, the Small Cradle, and the Sunset Flip for a series of near falls. Martinez weathered the storm and after scoring another near fall with the Fisherman Buster she dropped Banner with a Brainbuster to score the pin and retain the title.
●There was a buzz post-match as former champion Cheerleader Melissa entered the ring and stood toe-to-toe with Martinez. The champion held up the title belt and stared down the challenger before Amber Gertner entered the ring. She reluctantly got in between the two and spoke first to Melissa who said that she was invoking her rematch clause and dared Martinez to accept the challenge. Martinez did not hesitate and told Melissa that it was on and that they could have the match immediately but SHIMMER officials rushed the ring and got in between them. It was then announced that the title rematch will take place on the next card in Berwyn, IL (Card #758).

The Sheik vs Kowalski sounds like a fun match, it will be interesting to see how long The Sheik holds his title as he's had some great championship reigns for some promoters on this board.
Looking forward to seeing if Cheerleader Melissa (my current WOV Champion) can defeat Mercedes Martinez for the SHIMMER title.
And congrats on the now 29,000 views cruefan68, it is well deserved as you have an awesome fed.

Thanks for the comments Vegas and Bookerbill. Kowalski vs. The Sheik was a great battle and I also liked the dynamic of Captain Lou Albano and Abdullah Farouk at ringside. Imagine those two arguing in the heat of battle! Anyway, next up we have the latest show from CHIKARA...
CHIKARA - So Far So Good - The ACE Arena - Union City, NJ (Card #749)
1) Mike Quackenbush & Shane Storm defeated Los Ice Creams: An entertaining opening match saw “Lightning” Mike Quackenbush & Shane Storm join forces to battle Los Ice Creams (El Hijo del Ice Cream & Ice Cream, Jr.). It was all Quack and Storm early as they focused their attack on El Hijo del Ice Cream. Ice Cream, Jr. saved his partner from defeat two times and came back with a big near fall on Storm with a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker. It was Quackenbush who would score the win when he hit the rare Quackendriver IV on Ice Cream, Jr. for the pin.
2) Mr. Touchdown defeated Hallowicked: After losing to Young Lions Cup champion Frightmare in a great match on the last CHIKARA card, an upset “Mr. Touchdown” Mark Angelosetti issued a challenge to Frightmare’s tag team partner Hallowicked. Mr. Touchdown, the third member of The Throwbacks, looked focused early on but Hallowicked was able to gain control. He scored with a second rope springboard and had Mr. Touchdown on the defensive for a good stretch. Mr. Touchdown battled back, though, and hit key moves like the three point stance and the Dogpile. The finish was controversial as Hallowicked went for the Rydeen Bomb but Mr. Touchdown, out of view of the referee, struck him with the Football Helmet to score the pin.
3) The Colony defeated F.I.S.T.: A classic trios rivalry was renewed as The Colony (Fire Ant, Soldier Ant, & Green Ant) took on F.I.S.T. (Icarus, Chuck Taylor, & Johnny Gargano). This rivalry has even reached the grand stage in LOW as F.I.S.T. defeated The Colony back at WrestleCade V (Card #500 in Pontiac, MI). The battle was intense from bell to bell and came to an end when Fire Ant and Icarus engaged in a great back and forth battle. Icarus avoided a moonsault (ch) by Fire Ant and went for a slingshot senton but was unable to connect. A fired up Fire Ant then caught Icarus with the Beach Break to score the pin as the rest of The Colony cut off a save by Taylor and Gargano.
4) SHIMMER Offer Match: Daizee Haze defeated Sara Del Ray: This special offer match presented by SHIMMER saw CHIKARA alumni Daizee Haze and Sara Del Ray square off. The two have been both opponents and tag team partners, most notably in the BDK, and so they know each other well. This one started off with a handshake and then Del Ray began dominating hitting the release German Suplex and power bomb. She also executed the Royal Butterfly for a big near fall. Haze bounced back and scored a two count with a bridging German Suplex and also hit the Daizee Cutter. She later hit a Suicide Plancha on Del Ray and rolled her back inside cradling her legs for the snake eyes pin.
5) Vin Gerard, Brodie Lee, & Grizzly Redwood defeated Ultramantis Black, Crossbones, & Hydra: More trios action saw the Order of the Neo Solar Temple (Ultramantis Black, Crossbones, & Hydra) take on the Dark Menace-led team of Vin Gerard and the reigning Campeonatos de Parejas duo of The Roughnecks (Brodie Lee & Grizzly Redwood). Ultramantis and Gerard have had some tough battles recently and they went at it with bad intent here. Gerard got the upper hand and scored a near fall with the 2K1 Bomb. Lee got in on the fun and nailed Ultramantis with the Big Boot for a big near fall. The action picked up in intensity when Crossbones got involved in exchanges with all three opponents. After a battle on the floor it was Lee getting the upper hand and the “Big Rig” connected with another Big Boot on Crossbones to score the pin.
6) Jigsaw defeated Gran Akuma: A highly anticipated singles bout saw the popular Jigsaw take on Gran Akuma. Both men are top contenders for the 12-Large Grand Championship and a win here was of great importance in the championship chase. Early action saw some great technical exchanges before Akuma planted Jigsaw with the Falcon Arrow. He also hit the back senton and rolling sole butt as he took control. A big spot saw Akuma going up top but Jigsaw caught him with a superplex and followed with a Quackendriver I for a near fall. He also hit the Jig N’ Tonic but Akuma kicked out just before the three count. The finish of a great battle saw Jigsaw lay out Akuma with a superkick before striking with a Jumping Enzuigiri to score the pin.
7) The Throwbacks defeated Osirian Portal: There was a lot on the line in this one as Director of Fun Larry Sweeney announced that the winning team would challenge The Roughnecks (Brodie Lee & Grizzly Redwood) for the Campeonatos de Parejas at Home Sweet Home in Easton, PA (Card #759). The Osirian Portal (Amasis & Ophidian) and The Throwbacks (Dasher Hatfield & Sugar Dunkerton) left it all in the ring engaging in a great battle. The Portal showed unbelievable resiliency as both men kicked out of pins after receiving the Grandslam Dunk, the Grandslam by Hatfield, and Air Dunkerton by Dunkerton. Ophidian scored with his Death Grip on Hatfield at a crucial point in the match and then Amasis nearly pinned Dunkerton after hitting the Twist of Funk. After a long and grueling battle it was The Throwbacks coming out on top when Hatfield caught Ophidian with the Suicide Squeeze, a power bomb converted into a Death Valley Bomb, to score the pin. The crowd cheered the big win by The Throwbacks as well as the post-match dance off between all four men and referee Bryce Remsburg. The Portal showed great class by shaking hands with The Throwbacks and wishing them well in their championship opportunity.
8) CHIKARA 12-Large Grand Championship: Eddie Kingston© defeated Larry Sweeney by Count Out to retain the title: The main event saw the first defense of the CHIKARA 12-Large Grand Championship as the “War King” Eddie Kingston defended the belt against “Sweet n’ Sour” Larry Sweeney. The boastful and arrogant Sweeney, who was part of the six-way match that saw Kingston crowned the inaugural champion, used his power as the DOF of CHIKARA to name himself the number one contender. Sweeney looked good early catching Sweeney with the Bionic Elbow among other moves. He then went up to the top rope but was picked off with a bodyslam by Kingston. That turned the tables as Kingston nailed Sweeney with the Lariat for a near fall and then came out on the winning side in a Chop Battle. Sweeney was looking the worse for wear and he bailed out of the ring trying to avoid Kingston. After taking a beating on the outside it was Sweeney retreating back to the locker room resulting in Kingston scoring a count out victory in his version one defense of the championship.
