Thanks for the comments Pariah (loved that recap of the night and thanks for the high praise), Bookerbill, Crimson and Daytondave. I will give you a peek behind the curtain as the finish of the House of Truth vs. Bullet Club match came on a roll of doubles so i figured why not roll on the feud chart. It made for a fun angle at the end and gives me a chance to add a new member to Bullet Club. I have a few names in mind but I haven't made a decision yet.
I had so much fun with King of Trios and the best part is you go where the dice take you and many of us, myself included, were surprised by some of the results. I had picked American Dragon Wolves and Dem Boys of War to go to the final night and both teams got eliminated the first night. Even when I got to night three I was thinking it could be a 3.Ole vs. Bullet Club final but it was not to be. Next up is an edition of LOW All-Star Wrestling and that will be followed by the next IWA card which I hope to post sometime this week. Thanks again for your comments they are greatly appreciated.

It has been a rough go for me in recent days but hopefully I will get in some dice rolling this weekend. I was able to finish up this fiftieth broadcast of LOW All-Star Wrestling, I hope you enjoy the action...
LOW All-Star Wrestling (Episode 50) - WMC-TV5 Studios - Memphis, TN (Card #911)
LOW Commissioner Charlie Cox, sitting in his office in New York, NY, opened the broadcast celebrating the 5oth episode of LOW All-Star Wrestling by thanking all involved in the production of the show. He especially thanked announcers Lance Russell & Dave Brown who have given the show a strong identity and who are welcomed into the homes of millions of viewers each week. He added that the staff of LOW went above and beyond to make this a special broadcast including a defense of the LOW Junior Heavyweight title by Johnny Saint, a big Loser Leaves the AWE match and an all-star six-man tag team being featured in the main event. As he was finishing he threw it to a video montage highlighting some of the greatest moments in the history of the show. Russell thanked Cox for his kind words and Brown echoed those sentiments and said that he hopes they are there for the next fifty shows.
LR: “Who-kay welcome everybody to our fiftieth broadcast of LOW All-Star Wrestling. By golly I have had a great time bringing each and every one of these shows to you alongside my invaluable partner Dave Brown. First up I want to touch on a situation in the NWC where The Patriot, part of Stars & Stripes with Marcus Alexander Bagwell, was recently injured by Nikolai Volkoff & Iron Sheik. I understand he has been in serious training for a return and I have some great news as he and Bagwell will be facing Volkoff & Sheik in a Falls Count Anywhere match at Madison Square Garden in New York, NY (Card #916) and that should be a real dandy. It has also been learned that the same night it will be the SHIMMER title on the line in a No DQ Match with Lufisto defending the belt against Mercedes Martinez. I guarantee that tickets will be selling out fast for that show so get your tickets if you are in the area. There is plenty more to discuss but we need to get this show underway.”
DB: “Well Lance we have some great bouts lined up today so let’s get right to the action. First up it will be a rare defense of the LOW Junior Heavyweight title here on All-Star Wrestling and ASW’s own Ricky Landell will be challenging Johnny Saint for the championship. We also have great talent in for our fiftieth broadcast which includes the inaugural LOW World Heavyweight champion Frank Gotch, PWI Invitational Cup Tournament winner Bruiser Brody and the first time pairing of “Bullet” Bob Armstrong & Angelo “King Kong” Mosca appearing courtesy of the SWA. If all of that isn’t enough we also have interviews with Blackjack Mulligan and IWA Commissioner David Marquez, the latter of whom is here to make a major announcement, and a huge six-man tag team main event featuring a real all-star team of Andre the Giant, Mil Mascaras and the “Macho Man” Randy Savage! Without further ado let’s go over to ring announcer Gary Michael Cappetta for the introductions of our opening match.”
1) LOW Junior Heavyweight title: Johnny Saint© defeated Ricky Landell to retain the title: The popular Ricky Landell out of St. Paul, MN, had the chance of a lifetime as he challenged Johnny Saint for the LOW Junior Heavyweight title. Landell held his own in the early going including trading hold for hold with the champion. The turning point came when Landell hit a missile dropkick but Saint rolled into a ball, or the turtle up position, to confuse the challenger. Landell reached in and Saint quickly trapped him in the Johnny Saint Special scoring the pin. It was a tough loss for Landell and a successful version five defense of the title for Saint.
● Interview – IWA Commissioner David Marquez: Lance Russell went to the interview area and introduced IWA Commissioner David Marquez who was given a warm welcome by the studio audience. Russell said that the IWA has truly captured the hearts and minds of the fans and is a welcome addition to LOW. Marquez thanked him and said that it was an honor to represent the IWA on a great day of celebration for LOW All-Star Wrestling. Russell talked about the debut show for the IWA during WrestleCade IX weekend followed up by the King of Trios event. He said it would be hard to top that kind of action but he knows that Marquez and his staff are up to the task. Marquez appreciated the compliments and said that the IWA is planning a major mid-year event, Supercard of Honor, which takes place at Soldier Field in Chicago, IL (Card #949). As such the front office staff, which includes Cary Silkin, Gape Sapolsky and Senior Referee Bryce Remsburg has come up with a way to add something major to the event. With the promotion already having the IWA Heavyweight and tag team titles it has been decided to introduce a junior heavyweight title. The championship will be named the IWA J-Crown title and will be open to participants under two-hundred fifteen pounds to differentiate it from the LOW Junior Heavyweight title which has a two-hundred thirty-five pound weight limit. Russell said that was a great idea and Marquez added that in the months leading up to the big event there will be elimination matches on IWA cards to determine the finalists. He said that the field will be open to sixteen participants, eight of whom are under IWA contract and the other eight of whom will come from the independents. Russell said it will be great to see the entrants for the tournament revealed and Marquez said that there was no need to wait and they went to a video announcing the sixteen entrants invited to participate in the tournament:
● Chuck Taylor ● Tadarius “TD” Thomas ● Rich Swann ● Johnny Yuma ● Bobby Fish ● Kyle O’Reilly ● Green Ant ● Ricochet ● Scorpio Sky (Independent) ● Steve O’Reno (Independent) ● Matthew Cross (Independent) ● Eric Ryan (Independent) ● Johnny Gargano (Independent) ● Davey Vega (Independent) ● AR Fox (Independent) ● ACH (Independent)
Russell commended him on the idea to conduct the tournament and thanked him for being on the show. Marquez said it was an honor and added that the IWA J-Crown title will be openly defended against talent in both the IWA and independent wrestlers deemed eligible for a title opportunity. He concluded by saying that the first elimination match will take place in Danbury, CT (Card #919) between Rey De Voladores winner ACH and the “Kentucky Gentleman” Chuck Taylor.
2) Bruiser Brody defeated Jim Powers: The maniacal Bruiser Brody stormed out to ringside clutching his chain and barking while Immigrant Song, the Led Zeppelin classic, played over the public address system. His opponent, Jim Powers, waited patiently in the ring knowing that he would be in for a fight. Powers was aggressive early and took Brody off of his feet with the monkey flip and a dropkick. It wasn’t long before Brody pounded his way back into it and leveled Powers with the big boot to the face for a two count. Powers was in a bad way as Brody kept up his assault and planted him with the Piledriver to score the pin.
Brody went over to the announce table after the match where his PWI Invitational Cup Tournament trophy was sitting. He grabbed the mic away from Lance Russell and said that he is not a patient man and that he wants what is rightfully his – the LOW World Heavyweight title. He then issued the challenge to Lou Thesz saying that as the winner of the PWI Cup he was cashing in on his title opportunity and that he will challenge him on the upcoming card at Madison Square Garden in New York, NY (Card #916). The studio audience cheered that announcement as Russell went to throw it to commercial break.
3) Frank Gotch defeated Savage-T: NWC star Frank Gotch, a two-time LOW World Heavyweight champion, received a nice round of applause from the studio audience as he took on Savage-T who was accompanied by his valet KJ Hill. Russell and Brown talked up the importance of the LOW World Heavyweight title during this match and speculated on how Bruiser Brody will fare against Lou Thesz at MSG. Gotch took care of this one quickly taking Savage-T down and scoring the submission with the Gotch Toehold.
4) Losing Team Leaves The AWE: King Kong Bundy & Bill Dundee defeated The Crusher & Hacksaw Jim Duggan: The heat surrounding this one was off the charts as The Crusher & Hacksaw Jim Duggan took on First Family members King Kong Bundy & “Superstar” Bill Dundee with the losing team being forced to leave their home base of the AWE. Manager Jimmy Hart was in the corner for Bundy and Dundee and boasted that he would lead his men to victory. A pre-match video showed some highlights from the rivalry including Bundy twice injuring Duggan, the big win by The Crusher and Duggan in a Steel Cage Match during WrestleCade IX weekend and Crusher and Duggan destroying the set of the Bill and Bundy Show! during the last edition of LOW All-Star Wrestling. The match spanned two commercial breaks and featured a ton of near falls. Hart twice interfered using the megaphone and everyone but The Crusher was busted open during the battle. Duggan hit the Flying Spear and The Crusher followed with the Crusher Bolo on Bundy resulting in back to back near falls late in the match. Hart nearly lost it as the big man barely kicked out of the pins. Bundy recovered and nailed The Crusher with the elbow drop off the ropes which set up Dundee hitting the Superstar Bomb for the pin. The crowd jeered the decision as a jubilant Hart jumped up and down around ringside yelling “this is the greatest day of my life!” A bloody Duggan helped The Crusher up following the fall and the two men looked bewildered knowing that they would now have to leave the AWE.
● Interview – Blackjack Mulligan: Before going to this pre-taped interview, announcers Lance Russell and Dave Brown talked about the heartbreaking loss suffered by The Crusher and Hacksaw Jim Duggan and how they will now have to leave the AWE. They said that Jimmy Hart could still be heard cackling in the back and how Bundy and Dundee are now in a strong position returning back to the AWE. They then threw it to the interview with PWI Editor Bill Apter talking to Blackjack Mulligan at his ranch in Eagle Pass, TX. As the two discussed the war that Mulligan has been involved in with the House of Humperdink in the SWA, a close up was shown of Mulligan’s bandaged claw hand which was bludgeoned by Kevin Sullivan with a Railroad Spike in a recent attack. Mulligan vowed revenge on Sullivan, his associates in the House of Humperdink and most of all Sir Oliver Humperdink himself. He said that Humperdink and his men have been targeting him since his first day in LOW and that he was sick of it and this latest incident was the last straw. He noted that he had good friends like “Bullet” Bob Armstrong and Angelo “King Kong” Mosca who will take up the fight until he is cleared to return to action. Apter said that Armstrong and Mosca have signed to face Sullivan and Johnny Valentine in a big tag team match upcoming in Little Rock, AR (Card #914). Mulligan responded that Armstrong and Mosca are like blood brothers to him and that together they will join forces to rid the SWA of the House of Humperdink once and for all.
5) Bob Armstrong & Angelo Mosca defeated Naptown Dragons: “Bullet” Bob Armstrong & Angelo “King Kong” Mosca had the tough task of taking on the Naptown Dragons (“Die Hard” Dustin Lee & Scotty Vortekz) in a feature tag team match. As noted in the interview with Blackjack Mulligan, Armstrong and Mosca have taken up the cause for their injured friend in targeting the House of Humperdink in the SWA. The Dragons shined early and scored a big near fall on Armstrong after hitting the Double Dragon, a double suplex into a power bomb. The tide turned when Mosca blasted Lee with the Heart Punch and nearly put him away with the Sleeper Hold. A recovered Armstrong then caught Lee with a nice Vertical Suplex to score the pin as Mosca prevented Vortekz from making the save.
6) Andre the Giant, Mil Mascaras, & Randy Savage defeated Timber, The Executioner, & Johnny Rodz: The main event featured a veritable dream team of the “Eighth Wonder of the World” Andre the Giant, Mil Mascaras and Randy “Macho Man” Savage as they took on Timber “The Insane Lumberjack”, The Executioner and the “Unpredictable” Johnny Rodz. During the match it was announced that Andre would go one-on-one with The Sheik on the MSG card attempting to gain some revenge after the Syrian madman burned him with a fireball a few weeks ago. Andre was impressive in this bout as he nailed Timber with a dropkick and followed with a turnbuckle squash. The former LOW Tex-Arkana Television champion was in a bad way and it was Mascaras who finished off Timber as he came off of the top rope with a Flying Bodypress to score the pin.
Savage went to the announce table as the show closed and wished Bruiser Brody luck in his match with LOW World Heavyweight champion Lou Thesz. He said that he wanted Brody to win the belt so that he could take it off of him as he has not forgotten what happened when Brody turned on him for money in the AWE. Brody came out from the back clutching his chain and barking as Savage taunted him. Andre and Mascaras stepped in between the two men and things cooled down with Brody backing off. Savage attempted to give chase but was pushed back by Andre bringing the show to a tense conclusion.

Some really great moments... From Bruiser Brody issuing the big challenge to Lou Thesz... Then coming full circle at the conclusion of the six-man main event with Macho Man's own challenge for Brody... So much heat between those two...
Awesome announcement regarding the IWA and its upcoming tournament for the IWA J-Crown... Some truly great competition in that field... But, what I wouldn't give to see Son of Havoc (oops, sorry - I grab any chance I can to make reference to M-Dogg's masked biker alter ego... no excuses... I'm a bona fide LU mark)... I mean I'd love to see Matt Cross go all the way...
Entertaining show from start to finish... Always a pleasure to watch!

What a finale! Brody vs. Savage on the horizon... as fate would have it, the same two men who are highlighting this weekend's Heartland pay-per-view!
Always good to see Bundy getting the win, one of my favorites among the midcard.
Congrats on card #50!

I am looking forward to the crowning of the IWA J-Crown Champion and my picky is Johnny Gargano to win it all. Johnny Saint keeping the strap is cool, but too bad Ricky Landell could not get the victory and belt. I liked the win for Bundy and Dundee, bye bye Crusher and Duggan, fun stuff my friend...

Thanks for the comments everyone, it was really cool being able to get to the fiftieth episode. I am also pumped to get that elimination tournament started and as you can see once a champion is crowned the belt will be defended against non-IWA stars as well. I am doing that so I can better utilize more of the great indy cards that are available. It is hard to believe but I am going to go with a 60-man roster eventually for the IWA and there are still tons of cards I want to use so it is a rare case of something bad also being something good.
Also, I look forward to you getting your LOW fed back up and running Vegas as you always had some great action going on there. As for myself, I am getting better since my auto accident but since I am a cards and dice guy there are days where I can't roll the dice too much. That's why my posting has been slow of late. I hope to have the next card, which is an IWA card, posted soon. Thanks as always for the comments it is greatly appreciated.

IWA - West Coast Invasion - Legion Stadium - El Monte, CA (Card #912)
1) Sami Callihan & Willie Mack defeated Manimal & Wild Bill White: The opening match saw Sami Callihan & Willie Mack take on Manimal & Wild Bill White. Callihan and Mack recently teamed up with Ultramantis Black in King of Trios and they were hoping to build some momentum in the IWA by tagging again here. Manimal looked good in the early going and had Callihan in trouble. White continued that offensive until Callihan laid him out with the leaping Russian legsweep. Mack got the crowd going as he took the battle to White including scoring a big near fall with a frog splash. Manimal saved White when he was caught in the Stretch Muffler by Callihan but it was just a temporary reprieve for their team. Callihan unleashed a strong follow up attack on White and scored the pin on the journeyman veteran after hitting the Exploder Suplex.
2) Joey Ryan defeated Rich Swann: The popular Rich Swann out of Baltimore, MD, took on the self professed “King of Sleaze” Joey Ryan out of Hollywood, CA. Ryan had his fair share of supporters being in his home base of southern California. Swann nearly won it in the opening moments when he hit the Chicken Fried Driver but Ryan kicked out just before the three count. Ryan gained control and dominated the middle portion of the match including executing ‘Nuff Said, a crossface chicken wing submission, and Walk-Off, a superkick, for a big near fall. Swann staged a late rally but missed a charge into the corner and Ryan executed a Counter Roll-Up grabbing the ropes for extra leverage to score the pin.
3) Shaun Ricker defeated Adam Pearce: The intense battle between Shaun Ricker and “Scrap Iron” Adam Pearce at Night Three of King of Trios led to this rematch being signed. Ricker was bandaged up from that match, which he lost via count out, and he was looking for some payback here. He dominated the early action and had Pearce in trouble until he turned it around on the outside. Pearce struck with the Last Ride Lariat scoring a two count and also hit the spinebuster and Superfly Splash. Ricker fought back hard and scored near falls with the Elevator Superplex and Up and Over Neckbreaker. He gained a measure of revenge by busing Pearce open on the outside and would then hit the Gravy Train, his version of the Celtic Cross, to score the pin. The crowd cheered the victory by Ricker as a bloody Pearce was assisted to the back by IWA officials.
4) The Colony defeated Tursas & Brodie Lee by DQ: The Colony (Fire Ant & Soldier Ant) took on the undefeated team of Tursas & Brodie Lee who were accompanied by SoCal Val. It was a tall order for The Colony as Tursas and Lee have pretty much steamrolled over all of their previous opponents. It looked like it was going to be the same here as Tursas hit the Black Hole Slam and Lee hit the Big Boot on Fire Ant for back to back near falls. Fire Ant regrouped and he and Soldier Ant managed to hit a tandem Burning Hammer on Tursas. Fire Ant would also hit the same move on Lee for a big near fall late in the bout. This one wound up on the outside and it was Lee getting his team disqualified as he speared Fire Ant head first into the ring post. Soldier Ant, who was very impressive during the match, came to the rescue of Fire Ant by brandishing a chair. SoCal Val gathered her troops and they headed to the back as The Colony picked up a painful victory.
5) Delirious defeated Jay Briscoe: IWA Commissioner David Marquez ordered this match based on what happened in the opening round of King of Trios where Delirious, who partnered with Rhino and Matt Taven to win KOT for the House of Truth, sprayed Jay Briscoe with Red Poison. Briscoe was accompanied to the ring by his brother Mark Briscoe but he was sent to the back by the referee after protests from manager Truth Martini. Delirious showed no hesitation going after Jay Briscoe from the opening bell and he quickly scored a two count with Shadows Over Hell. The red masked man continued his assault on Briscoe and before long he sprayed him with the controversial Red Poison covering him for a big near fall. Briscoe survived that but the red mist in his eyes blinded him and a short time later Delirious delivered a second dose of Red Poison followed by a quick roll-up to score the pin.
Martini waved to the back immediately after the fall and out came the “Man Beast” Rhino who joined Delirious in a vicious assault on the fallen Briscoe. Mark Briscoe ran out for the save but was blasted with a Gore from Rhino as he ran in to the ring. As the House of Truth left ringside an angry Jay recovered and cut a scathing promo on them saying that he and Mark were going to “cap some b******”! It was later learned that a tag team match has been signed between the Briscoe’s and Delirious & Rhino when the IWA rolls into Baltimore, MD (Card #922).
6) Bryan Danielson defeated Moose: An IWA contract was at stake as highly touted independent star Moose, a former star player in the NFL, took on the “American Dragon” Bryan Danielson. Moose made his intentions known when he interrupted IWA Commissioner David Marquez on opening night of King of Trios and called out Danielson saying he wanted to beat the best to earn his spot on the roster. The intensity of both men was on full display from the early going which included Moose hitting the spear for a two count. He then picked up another near fall off corner shoulder thrusts before Danielson scored a two count with a Dragon Suplex. Danielson hit such moves as the dive to the outside, back superplex and the discus elbow smash to rattle Moose. It worked for a good stretch before Moose countered a backdrop with a power bomb followed by another Spear for a big near fall. The crowd was whipped into a frenzy by this point and some were even pulling for Moose to win the IWA contract. The finish saw Danielson counter a knee lift and subsequently strike with a Series of Roundhouse Kicks to score the pin. Chants of “Yes, Yes, Yes!” permeated throughout the building as the popular Danielson picked up a huge win. Moose may have failed to earn the IWA contract on this night but his impressive performance will certainly make talent scouts take notice for his potential addition to the roster in the future.
7) Fatal Four Way Match: Kevin Steen defeated Rob Van Dam, Eddie Kingston, & Michael Elgin: Four of the top stars in the IWA squared off in a Fatal Four Way Match with a big prize at stake – a shot at IWA Heavyweight champion Mike Quackenbush on the next card in Danbury, CT (Card #919). It was Rob Van Dam, “War King” Eddie Kingston, Kevin Steen and “Unbreakable” Michael Elgin squaring off in a one fall to a finish match to see who would receive that golden opportunity. The one fall stipulation meant that multiple pin saves would be seen as all four men wanted to stop each other from getting the fall. The powerful Elgin looked like he might win it early when he planted Steen with a spinning Backfist for a near fall. Steen rebounded and hit both his trademark F-Cinq and Package Piledriver for huge near falls. RVD showed off his brilliant aerial skills and at one point hit the Five Star Frog Splash on Steen but Kingston broke it up. As for the “War King” he nearly won it in the late going as he blasted Steen with the Sliding D but he kicked out just before the three count. It was anyone’s match to take heading into the home stretch and with RVD-Elgin battling it out it was Steen planting Kingston with the Package Piledriver to score the pin. The victory gave Steen the IWA Heavyweight title opportunity and it will force Quackenbush and his manager Percy Pringle III to come up with a game plan to try and fend off the challenge of “Wrestling’s Worst Nightmare”.
8) IWA tag team titles: Osirian Portal© defeated Kings of Wrestling by DQ to retain the titles: The main event saw the Osirian Portal (Amasis & Ophidian) put the IWA tag team titles on the line against the Kings of Wrestling (Chris Hero & Claudio Castagnoli) in a highly anticipated match. The Kings of Wrestling, which also included Tyler Black at one point in Ring of Honor, have always been serious threats to tag team titles and they were looking to grab the gold from the Portal. Hero went for the controversial loaded Rolling Elbow Smash early but Amasis ducked out of the way. The Portal went on a nice offensive against Castagnoli including picking up a big near fall when Amasis hit the Egyptian Conniption. That came immediately after he and Ophidian had momentarily hypnotized Castagnoli with the controversial Snake Charmer. Castagnoli was busted open late in the bout but refused to stay down and he struck with trademark moves like the European Uppercut and giant swing. Hero took over and was going for the finish against Amasis with the Loaded Rolling Elbow but he never had the chance to score a pin. The referee caught Hero loading his elbow pad and disqualified the Kings of Wrestling for breaking the rules. The Portal were successful in their version one defense of the titles but the Kings of Wrestling no doubt put forth a tough challenge in attempting to become champions.
