I liked the win by Inoki and the display of honor between the three men was cool and your description made that a true Main Event showdown. I've been a Mongols fan since they were in the game and I was hoping they would've won, but War Machine are tough. A highlight for me besides the Main Event is Terry Gordy winning the 12 man, very cool...

Thanks for the comments Pariah, AJ, Daytondave, Bookerbill and Crimson. That was a really fun KRU tour and that match between Rikidozan-Baba-Inoki was one of the most incredible that I have ever rolled out. So many near falls and back-and-forth action that at one point I took a break from dice rolling. When it finally ended I realized that is one of the things that makes this game so great. I felt like I had just witnessed an epic encounter between three of the greatest of all time. I had a chance to finish up this next card from MSG and as you will see this main event was just as much fun to roll out...
LOW Northern Wrestling Corporation - Madison Square Garden - New York, NY (Card #935)
1) Dick Hutton defeated Mr. X: Former Olympian Dick Hutton has been on quite a roll of late and he looked to continue that against Mr. X of LOW All-Star Wrestling. The masked man has rarely won and he was in over his head here as Hutton quickly took over and pinned him after a Scoop Slam and press. The crowd cheered the win by Hutton who afterward said that he is looking towards getting a shot at the LOW World Heavyweight title.
2) Danny Doring & Amish Roadkill defeated Blue World Order: The popular Blue World Order (Stevie Richards & Blue Meanie) took on the ASW team of Danny Doring & Amish Roadkill in a battle of extreme tag teams from their time prior to joining LOW. The meeting of the four brought back fond memories for many of those extreme days. Richards shined early getting the better of Doring who bailed out of the ring. It was a smart move as it gave him and Roadkill a chance to go over some strategy. Doring turned things around against the Meanie and he and Roadkill hit the Buggy Bang on him for a big near fall. Richards made the save for the Meanie keeping the bWo alive for the moment. Doring seized the chance to get the victory, though, and with the Meanie still down he came off of the top rope with the Danaconda to score the pin. The loss marked the second straight one for the bWo against an ASW team at MSG and Richards was none too pleased but the Meanie couldn’t help himself and danced anyway drawing laughter from the crowd.
3) Cowboy Bob Orton defeated Jerry Lynn: Former LOW Junior Heavyweight champion Jerry Lynn took on the strong challenge of “The Ace” Cowboy Bob Orton. Lynn has recently been involved in a rivalry teaming with Sabu against Drake Younger & Justin Credible so facing the technically sound Orton was a nice change of pace. Orton used his piledriver to score two near falls on Lynn during the match. Lynn, who is noted for his Cradle Piledriver, battled back with a German Suplex and a sunset flip power bomb scoring a two count on Orton. The turning point came when Lynn went up top but Orton picked him off with a bodyslam. Orton followed with the atomic kneedrop and then executed the Middle Rope Splash to score a snake eyes pin.
4) Fritz Von Goering defeated Ilio DiPaolo by DQ: Popular Italian star Ilio DiPaolo took on German star Fritz Von Goering in what could easily be a new rivalry in the NWC. The two fairly evenly matched stars traded the advantage throughout the match. DiPaolo stunned Von Goering with the big right hands and would score a near fall with his trademark Airplane Spin. The rugged Von Goering struck back locking on a bearhug for a submission chance and pounded on DiPaolo with the knee drop to the throat and stomps in the corner. They wound up battling out to the floor where Von Goering tried to use a chair but DiPaolo got it away from him. DiPaolo then swung the chair across the back of Von Goering and that resulted in a snake eyes disqualification decision. The battle continued post-match before Von Goering bailed out of the ring leaving a fired up DiPaolo to draw cheers from the crowd.
5) Sabu defeated George Steele: A highly anticipated bout saw Sabu, accompanied by his manager Bill Alfonso, take on the unpredictable George “The Animal” Steele. Manager Feed Blassie, who is suffering from injured ribs incurred during a recent tour of Japan for Kings Road United, was not in the building. That meant that Steele was let loose and he proved to be very dangerous getting the better of Sabu for most of the match. Steele bit, scratched and clawed at Sabu not to mention using his trusty foreign object, a can opener covered by tape, to gain control. Sabu only needed one opening and he got it when he caught Steele with Air Sabu followed quickly by a Huracanrana to score the pin. The crowd erupted in cheers as Sabu picked up a come from behind win and afterward Alfonso drove Steele even more crazy by blowing his whistle several times. The “Animal” had to be corralled by LOW officials and escorted to the back.
6) Antonino Rocca, Bobo Brazil, & Tony Atlas defeated Killer Kowalski, The Warlord, & One Man Gang: Big six-man tag team action saw the popular trio of Antonino Rocca, Bobo Brazil, & “Mr. USA” Tony Atlas take on Killer Kowalski, The Warlord, & One Man Gang. The latter team is managed by Captain Lou Albano but he was not at ringside as he is currently on the road with Greg “The Hammer” Valentine, the reigning LOW International Heavyweight champion. Kowalski became the defacto leader of the team and he did a great job setting the pace early. The Warlord nearly won it with the Full Nelson on Atlas but he avoided a submission by getting to the ropes for a break. Kowalski also scored a big near fall on Brazil with the giant swing. Brazil battled back and blasted The Warlord with the Coco Butt but the massively muscled star kicked out of the pin with authority. The action was fast and furious building to a wild finish which saw Rocca recover from a beating on the floor to lead his team to victory. As Brazil and Atlas fended off the Warlord and OMG it was Rocca hoisting up Kowalski into the Argentinian Backbreaker to score a submission victory.
7) Flag Match: Nikolai Volkoff & Iron Sheik defeated Stars & Stripes: The long standing rivalry between Stars & Stripes (The Patriot & Marcus Alexander Bagwell) and Nikolai Volkoff & Iron Sheik continued with this Flag Match. The special rules agreed upon by both teams stated that the losing team would have to raise up and wave the flag, or flags, of the winning team. That meant that the stakes were incredibly high as neither side wanted to hold up the flag of their opponent. Stars & Stripes dominated the early action including Bagwell scoring a near fall on Volkoff with a dropkick and big splash combo. The Sheik got his team back into it hitting his variety of suplex moves and that set up Volkoff using the Russian bearhug on Bagwell for a submission chance. The tension built throughout the match with the high stakes involved and a number of other near falls were scored. The turning point in the match came when Volkoff caught Bagwell with a throat drop on the ropes scoring a two count. Sheik tagged in and locked on the Camel Clutch as Volkoff prevented The Patriot from breaking it up. Bagwell tried to fight out of it but the Sheik pulled back on the painful hold and got the submission victory. The fans jeered the decision lustily as Volkoff and the Sheik soaked it in. With Bagwell still down on the mat it was The Patriot taking matters into his own hands and he held up both the Russian and Iranian flags to honor the stipulation. It was a humiliating moment for the proud masked man and Volkoff and Sheik enjoyed every bit of it. It will be real interesting to see how Stars & Stripes can bounce back from such a devastating loss.
8) LOW Junior Heavyweight title: Danny Hodge© defeated Gorgeous George by DQ to retain the title: Danny Hodge, coming off of his championship win over Johnny Saint, made his version one defense of the LOW Junior Heavyweight title against Gorgeous George who was accompanied by his valet Cherie Dupre. George won a count out decision over Saint on the last MSG card and was entitled to this rematch as a result. It was a nice technical battle early which included Hodge avoiding a corner charge and countering with a roll-up for a two count. Hodge went up top and dove off onto George but took down the referee in the process. During the time that the official was down George hit a flying bodypress from the top rope and applied the Spinning Toe Hold but no decision could be made. The two continued to battle it out and wound up outside the ring just as the referee was coming to his senses. George took control and sent Hodge head first into the ring post and then grabbed the perfume atomizer from Dupre and struck the champion with it. The referee managed to see both infractions and he called for the bell giving Hodge the victory via disqualification. George was livid over the decision and argued with the referee but Hodge retained the title in his version one defense.
9) LOW World tag team titles: Road Warriors© defeated The Sheepherders to retain the titles: The Road Warriors (Animal & Hawk, with manager Paul Ellering) defended the LOW World tag team titles against The Sheepherders (Butch Miller & Luke Williams) who had their flag bearer Ken Doane in their corner. This was the first ever tag team title shot for The Sheepherders in LOW and they were hoping to make the most of it against the record eight-time champions. They jumped the Road Warriors during the ring introductions by Gary Michael Cappetta and held the early advantage. It was looking good for The Sheepherders until the Road Warriors took out Butch with a spike piledriver. That set off Hawk and Animal on a path of destruction that could not be stopped. Butch wound up being busted open on the outside before being leveled with the Doomsday Device. Hawk made the cover as Animal fended off Luke but the pin was broken up by Doane shoving the New Zealand flagpole into the side of Hawk’s head. The referee missed the interference but it only gave The Sheepherders a short reprieve. Not long after it was the Road Warriors delivering a second Doomsday Device on Butch and Animal covered him to score the pin as a pin save was prevented by both Hawk and Ellering. It was a successful version five defense of the belts for the Road Warriors who drew a rousing ovation from the crowd.
10) Andre the Giant & Randy Savage defeated The Sheik & Bruiser Brody: The main event was a grudge match of epic proportions as the undefeated “Eighth Wonder of the World” Andre the Giant joined forces with the “Macho Man” Randy Savage to take on the diabolical pairing of The Sheik and Bruiser Brody. Manager Abdullah Farouk was in the corner for The Sheik, his main charge, and Brody who has become an associate of the pair of late. Savage has been embroiled in a bitter and personal battle with Brody and also recently felt the wrath of The Sheik who was paid off by Brody to attack him. Andre has also had it out for The Sheik who burned him with a fireball on an edition of LOW All-Star Wrestling and though he and Savage don’t necessarily see eye-to-eye he reached out to the “Macho Man” offering to team with him for the match.
This was a total war from bell to bell with both teams coming close to scoring the victory. Andre took a tremendous beating in the early going and looked like he may suffer his first ever direct defeat in an LOW ring. He was busted open from the assault by both men and was nearly pinned after a running legdrop from Brody. The Sheik also burned him with a Fireball out of view of the referee but Savage saved Andre from being pinned. Andre was a mess covered in blood and burn marks when he finally made the tag. Savage had to go it alone for a good stretch and at one point showed great resiliency by kicking out after the Jumping Knee Drop from Brody. Savage would later connect with the Flying Elbow Drop on Brody but The Sheik made the save. Andre got back into it and was a raging madman going after both men. The enraged Andre was a frightening sight as he busted Brody open and hit the Big Splash on him but Farouk was able to distract the referee preventing a pin. Savage would later hit the flying double axe handle to the floor on Brody and scored another near fall with a neckbreaker clothesline. It came down to Andre getting revenge on The Sheik as he laid out the madman from Syria and flattened him with the Big Splash to score the pin as Savage prevented Brody from making the save. Savage and Brody then brawled to the back as Andre, showing the blood and scars from the battle, angrily tossed The Sheik over the top rope causing him to land at the feet of Farouk. Andre then grabbed the mic and bellowed out that one time was not enough and he wanted a Steel Cage Match! The crowd cheered that but it will be up to LOW Commissioner Charlie Cox to decide if there will be a return match of such nature.

Another awesome showing at the Garden. Great action from start to finish and the main event was fantastic. Sheik and The Giant in a cage will be epic and I will be interested to see when you unleash it on the world.

Andre is simply ON FIRE! His main event pairing with the Macho Man was nothing short of incredible... And after the challenge made by the Giant, it looks like this time The Sheik is gonna be the one to get burned... Inside a cage, no less... Snap!
Seeing The Patriot have to raise the Iranian and Russian flags was a moment that will not soon be forgotten... As stated by your own commentary, this might be a difficult setback for Stars & Stripes to recover from...
Thoroughly enjoyed Sabu's wild victory over Steele... The Ace Cowboy vs Jerry Lynn was a cool matchup as well...
Great stuff!

I agree with Book and I like to add that seeing Ilio DiPaolo lose by DQ is wild, but I was glad it was Fritz Von Goering who won that match. I also loved the Flag match a great classic match and it's pretty cool the hated won over the heroes, but I wonder if Stars-n-Stripes will want another crack...

Thanks for the comments Bookerbill, Pariah and Crimson. That tag match was the closest Andre has come to a direct pinfall/submission defeat in my fed. He was lucky to survive and Randy Savage had to do a lot of heavy lifting to keep them in the match. The most shocking thing for me was Stars & Stripes losing to Volkoff & Sheik in the Flag Match. I wasn't expecting to write that Patriot or Bagwell had to hold up the Russian and Iranian flags.
I am not sure when I will finish up the next show but it will be the Atlanta Omni card featuring Rikidozan vs. Ed "Strangler" Lewis plus Bob Armstrong challenging Greg Valentine for the LOW International Heavyweight title.

Armstrong might just be the one to end the run of the The Hammer. I am picking Rikidozan to get his hand raised over Lewis.

Armstrong might just be the one to end the run of the The Hammer. I am picking Rikidozan to get his hand raised over Lewis. I like your predictions BB, let's see how they end up. I hope to roll up this show by Saturday or Sunday. My dice rolling time has been extremely limited of late so that is why you are not seeing regular results postings from me. I wish there were more hours in the day to roll the dice. At any rate I don't want anyone to think that I have abandoned my fed I am just having a hard time fitting in the time to get the shows done.

Wow, I am on the opposite side of both of BB's predictions! That's the sign of excellent booking, cruefan.

LOW Southern Wrestling Alliance - The Omni - Atlanta, GA (Card #936)
1) Kevin Sullivan & Ox Baker defeated Les Thatcher & Ricky Landell: A spirited opening match saw the ASW team of Les Thatcher & Ricky Landell take on Kevin Sullivan & Ox Baker of the House of Humperdink. With their manager Sir Oliver Humperdink looking on from ringside, Sullivan and Baker looked to brutalize their opposition. It didn’t work out that way in the early going, though, as Thatcher and Landell put on an impressive display. Landell scored back-to-back two counts on Baker with the Fisherman Buster and Top Rope Fist Drop. Thatcher then came off of the top rope with a flying bodypress on Baker for a big near fall. Eventually Sullivan and Baker turned things around and in the end it was Sullivan hitting the Double Foot Stomp on Thatcher to score the pin.
2) Blonde Bombers defeated Love Brothers: Tag team action continued with the Love Brothers (Reginald & Hartford Love) taking on the Blonde Bombers (Chris Candido & Bobby Shane, with their manager J.J. Dillon). This was a highly anticipated first meeting of the two teams and it did not disappoint. The Love Brothers got the better of Candido early and nearly pinned him when Hartford caught him with the Neckbreaker. Dillon paced nervously at ringside hoping to see his team get on track. That opportunity came when Candido, having endured a beating from the Love Brothers, recovered first after he and Hartford went down on a collision out of the corner. Candido then nailed a top rope huracanrana on Hartford and tagged Shane who quickly executed a Rolling Reverse Cradle to score the pin. It was a shocking flash pin and a tough loss for the Love Brothers while at the same time a huge win for the Blonde Bombers.
3) Johnny Valentine defeated Brian Blair: The popular Brian Blair out of Tampa, FL, had the tough task of taking on Johnny Valentine, the cornerstone of the House of Humperdink. Sir Oliver Humperdink had a brief discussion with Valentine prior to the start of the match and whatever he said seemed to motivate his charge. Blair was impressive early but then missed with a charge into the corner hitting the ring post and falling out of the ring. Valentine took advantage of that situation and hit the Atomic Skullcrusher on Blair but pulled him up at the count of two. A second delivery of the Atomic Skullcrusher led to the pin and an impressive win for Valentine. Humperdink congratulated Valentine on his win and then struck Blair in the ribs with his kendo stick for good measure.
4) D-Lo Brown & Kenny King defeated Midnight Express: The recent nightmarish slump for the Midnight Express continued as they took on the popular duo of D-Lo Brown & Kenny King. Manager Jim Cornette grabbed the mic away from ring announcer Gary Michael Cappetta and introduced “Loverboy” Dennis Condrey & “Ravishing” Randy Rose to jeers from the crowd. He continued to claim that the third Express member, “Beautiful” Bobby Eaton, was suffering from the swine flu so it was Condrey and Rose taking this match. He also claimed that their loss of the LOW World tag team titles to the Road Warriors and their recent setbacks against the ASW team of the Heartbreak Express were “flukes” and that they would right the ship tonight. It looked like Brown and King didn’t get the memo as the two went on to dominate a good portion of the match. The Express got in some nice double-team moves but could never really get it in gear. Brown and King scored a barrage of near falls and Cornette had to get involved providing distractions to save his team. In the end it was Brown thwarting attempted interference by Cornette by decking the manager and following up with the Sky High on Rose to score the pin. The crowd erupted in cheers as Brown and King picked up a huge win and an exasperated Cornette had to be hauled to the back by Condrey and Rose.
5) Ed Lewis defeated Rikidozan: A special attraction match saw Kings Road United star Rikidozan take on free agent star Ed “Strangler” Lewis, formerly of the SWA. This match was quickly signed following the recent KRU tour where both men had some heated battles also involving Antonio Inoki and NWC star Fred Blassie. Lewis was dominant early including applying a double wristlock for a submission chance. Rikidozan staged a powerful offensive rocking Lewis with a variety of chops and slaps along with the scoop slam. A brief battle on the outside saw Lewis regain control and he caught Rikidozan in a full nelson before going into the Strangler’s Headlock. Rikidozan initially fought out of the punishing hold but Lewis cinched it back on. Rikidozan attempted to get to the ropes for a break butt then Lewis rolled it back over and kept the Strangler’s Headlock on resulting in a submission victory.
It was a powerful win for Lewis and Rikidozan found himself having to speak to the assembled Japanese press afterward. The KRU founder said that Lewis earned the victory but that there would be another time for things to be settled and he challenged both Lewis and Blassie to come to the Seibu Dome (Card #950) where, with Inoki busy challenging for the LOW World Heavyweight title that night, he would recruit his other protégé, Shohei “Giant” Baba, for a tag team match. When word got back to Lewis he said that he accepted on behalf of him and Blassie and that he wanted to up the ante making it a best 2-out-of-3 Falls Match. Rikidozan accepted that and as a result a huge match was added to the already big card scheduled for the Seibu Dome.
6) Buddy Rogers defeated Tommy Rich: The heated rivalry between “Wildfire” Tommy Rich and “Nature Boy” Buddy Rogers, who was accompanied by his manager J.J. Dillon, took center stage at the Omni where Rich is a huge fan favorite. Rogers recently returned to action after suffering a concussion at the hands of Rich who kept the Wildfire Sleeper locked on after a match. That hold was clearly in the mind of Rogers as he entered the ring and Dillon even confronted the referee telling him to check for a choke if Rich uses the hold. Rogers was able to control the early part of the match and caught Rich with a corner roll-up and atomic drop for two counts. Rich battled back hard and was able to lock on the Wildfire Sleeper but Rogers got to the ropes for a break. Rich did some great counter wrestling in this match including stunning Rogers with a piledriver as he thwarted a back bodydrop attempt. Rich then hit the Thesz Press for what looked to be a sure pin but Dillon distracted the referee. Rogers was saved there and he came back catching Rich with a pole ram resulting in a big near fall. Rogers then cinched in another pin attempt and got the win via a Pin Using Ropes drawing jeers from the crowd. It was a desperation move by the “Nature Boy” and he escaped with a controversial win over his rival much to the delight of Dillon.
7) Don Muraco defeated Magnum T.A.: Another heated rivalry was featured as the popular Magnum T.A. took on “The Magnificent” Don Muraco. The feud between them kicked off during WrestleCade IX weekend when Muraco, then a favorite of the fans, viciously attacked Magnum after losing to him in a PWI Invitational Cup Tournament Match. Magnum went at Muraco with intent early as he outwrestled him at every turn. Muraco, however, kept his cool and struck with the vicious Asiatic Spike and a neckbreaker scoring near falls. A great spot in the match saw Magnum up top going for a deathjump but Muraco met him up there. The two traded blows before Magnum decked Muraco sending him crashing to the mat. Magnum then jumped down and caught a stunned Muraco with the Belly to Belly Suplex! The crowd erupted in cheers but a slow cover by Magnum allowed Muraco to get his shoulder up just before the three count. Muraco bounced back and hit the Hawaiian Hammer but Magnum likewise kicked out just before the three count. The crowd was at a fever pitch by this point and it was on the outside where Muraco caught a big break. He busted Magnum open with a run into the guard rail and then whipped him back first into the ring post. It was a crushing blow for the bloody Magnum as back inside Muraco hoisted him up into the Over the Shoulder Backbreaker and with no escape he was forced to tap out. Muraco got a huge submission victory over his rival and gloated about it afterward before picking Magnum up and dropping him with an Asiatic Spike. The crowd jeered the smiling and arrogant Muraco as he returned to the locker room following the match.
8) LOW International Heavyweight title: Bob Armstrong defeated Greg Valentine© by DQ: The main event saw the popular “Bullet” Bob Armstrong, a native of Marietta, GA, receive a huge opportunity as he challenged Greg “The Hammer” Valentine for the LOW International Heavyweight title. Valentine was accompanied by his manager Captain Lou Albano and also received a pre-match pep talk from his father, Johnny Valentine, and manager Sir Oliver Humperdink. The referee made sure to send both the elder Valentine and Humperdink back to the locker room before the match got underway. Valentine took over on offense early and scored a near fall with a piledriver. He also trapped Armstrong in the Figure Four Leglock but the hold was broken in the ropes. Valentine went right back to the powerful submission hold but this time Armstrong escaped with authority reversing the hold and causing great pain for the defending champion. Armstrong then went on a nice offensive of his own hitting such moves as the atomic drop and cross body block. He had Valentine in trouble and a nervous Albano paced back and forth at ringside talking to himself. The two wound up battling out on the floor where Valentine, perhaps sensing that he would not be able to overcome a determined Armstrong, was disqualified snake eyes style for delivering chair shots to the back and leg.
Valentine retained the title in his version seven defense but paid for it afterward as Blackjack Mulligan hit the ring helping Armstrong batter the champion. Johnny Valentine ran down and it turned into a four-way battle before LOW officials were able to clear the ring. The elder Valentine was upset over the actions of his two main rivals and afterward challenged them to face him and House of Humperdink partner of his choice on the next SWA card in Houston, TX (Card #945). Armstrong and Mulligan had no problem with that and Mulligan said that the time had come to put the House of Humperdink “out of business” in the SWA.
