Great to see Powers get a victory, sounds like he deserved it too! He doesn't have much luck in my partner's HBWA fed.
Shame Brad Armstrong couldn't get a win over Hennig, I'm a big Armstrong fan. But at least Hennig had the courtesy to shake hands!
Enjoyed the write-up!

Thank you very much for the comments Pariah, Daytondave, Crimson, Bookerbill and Kat Rana. That PCW show was a lot of fun and it was nice to get to the blowoff match in the battle for the SSA, Inc. name. The fans seemed to back Sherri's team there but I'm not sure they will be too happy that another SSA, Inc. will be running around in PCW.
Jim Powers shocked me with that win and with his two wins over Larry Zbyszko, one by DQ, in the past he is quickly becoming a name to watch from LOW All-Star Wrestling, the television brand of my fed. The Road Warriors do look unstoppable but I have to say that Dutch Savage & Pepper Gomez gave them a good fight. It will be interesting to see which team can dethrone them. Brad Armstrong vs. Curt Hennig was a good match and could have gone either way but Hennig stepped it up in the end to pick up the "W".
Things are going really slow for me dice rolling wise of late but I hope to have the next show from the GWA posted by this weekend.

LOW Global Wrestling Association - Northlands Coliseum - Edmonton, Alberta, Canada (Card #956)
1) Rockin Robin defeated Leilani Kai by DQ: Ring Angels action opened things up as the popular Rockin Robin took on Leilani Kai, one-half of the Glamour Girls. The action was fast and furious from the opening moments with Robin looking great on offensive. She scored a near fall with a middle rope sunset flip and also used the swinging neckbreaker and spinning toehold to great effect. Kai had trouble keeping up with her at points and opted to brutalize her on the outside. Kai hair whipped Robin into the guard rail and then sent her head first into the ring post resulting in the disqualification decision.
2) Johnny Saint defeated Bob Roop: Two ring technicians squared off as two-time LOW Junior Heavyweight champion Johnny Saint took on former Olympian Bob Roop, the winner of the sixth annual PWI Invitational Cup Tournament. The crowd was treated to a great display of wrestling ability from both men. Saint won an early exchange and countered a fireman’s carry into The Russ Abbot, a rolling reverse cradle, for a two count. That display of counter wrestling by Saint was shown several times throughout the match. Roop had him in trouble late but then Saint trapped him in the Three In One, his version of the Octopus Hold, to score a submission victory.
3) New Age Outlaws vs. Naptown Dragons was a Draw: The first of three consecutive feature tag team matches saw the New Age Outlaws (B.G. James & Kip James) take on the ASW team of the Naptown Dragons (“Die Hard” Dustin Lee & Scotty Vortekz). Both teams were on point in this one and the early action included two big near falls with the Outlaws hitting the double team hot shot on Lee and the Dragons hitting Dragon’s Breath on Kip. The Dragons had some great offensive attacks during the course of the battle which saw Kip nearly pinned after taking Kiss of the Dragon, a combination Mafia Kick, but B.G. made the save. Kip was busted open during the bout but kept showing great resiliency including beating the ten count back into the ring after taking swinging DDT on the floor by Lee. The latter stages saw B.G. stun Lee and hit the Pump Handle Slam but he kicked out just before the three count. A short time later the bell sounded ending the match in a time limit draw.
4) Super Crazy & Halcon Oro defeated Samoan Island Tribe: The popular Luchadore team of Super Crazy & Halcon Oro took on the dangerous Samoan Island Tribe (Alofa & Samu). The SIT were dominant early hitting the double team headbutt along with a counter roll-up by Samu on Crazy for a two count. Crazy took a strong beating from both members of the SIT before nailing Alofa with leaping DDT for a two count. Oro got the hot tag and picked up a big near fall on Alofa after hitting the Caida de Muerte followed by the Shooting Star Press. It was a great comeback mounted by the luchadores which culminated in Crazy hitting the Crazy Bomb on Alofa to score the pin. The crowd cheered the victory by Crazy and Oro but in all likelihood the SIT will seek a rematch attempting to avenge this defeat.
5) Giant Bernard & Dan Spivey defeated Jon Moxley & Tyler Black by DQ: A highly anticipated tag team match between Jon Moxley & Tyler Black and Giant Bernard & “Dangerous” Dan Spivey ended in disappointing fashion. Bernard and Spivey tried to intimidate ring announcer Gary Michael Cappetta before the match and even lifted him up off of the mat. Moxley and Black, who some are calling The Shield, then hit the ring and saved Cappetta getting this match off to a wild start. The referee rang the bell as Moxley nailed Bernard with a clothesline sending him out of the ring. Moxley followed Bernard out as Black traded blows with Spivey in the ring. The referee was unable to get things under control and he called for the bell quickly as Moxley nailed Bernard with a series of chair shots. Bernard and Spivey got the win via disqualification much to the dismay of the crowd. As Bernard and Spivey retreated to the back an irate Moxley grabbed the mic and dared them to meet in a No DQ rematch on the next GWA card. It was later learned that the match has been signed to take place in Sheffield, England (Card #970).
6) LOW Junior Heavyweight title: Exotic Adrian Street defeated Danny Hodge to win the title: The prestigious LOW Junior Heavyweight title was on the line as five-time champion Danny Hodge defended the belt against the Exotic Adrian Street, the inaugural champion, who was accompanied by his valet Miss Linda and Paul London. The referee only allowed London to stay during the introductions and then ordered him to the back much to the delight of the crowd. Hodge was in control in the early portion of the match and caught Street with the Oklahoma Side Roll scoring a two count. He also used a variety of submission holds to punish the challenger. Street fought his way back into it and, with some outside interference from Miss Linda, was able to put Hodge in serious trouble. He used the Daffodil for a submission chance and then nearly pinned Hodge with the Crucifix. A second Crucifix saw Hodge kick out of the pin with authority and come back with a sleeper hold for a submission chance. Miss Linda again interfered, however, and after a run into the corner and a European uppercut it was Street executing a Fireman’s Carry Throat Drop on the top rope to score the pin. The crowd was left stunned as Street, eight years after his inaugural title win, became a two-time LOW Junior Heavyweight champion. Street pranced around ringside clutching the title belt as Hodge looked on in disbelief as well. Street, accompanied by Miss Linda and London, spoke with the press afterward and vowed to decorate the belt with pink and purple feathers to make it as beautiful as him.
7) Fabulous Kangaroos defeated Ted Dibiase & Kurrgan: The semi-final match saw two-time LOW World tag team champions the Fabulous Kangaroos (Al Costello & Roy Heffernan, with Wild Red Berry) take on “Million $ Man” Ted Dibiase & Kurrgan, his seven-foot tall bodyguard. In speaking with the press before the show Berry said that his team demanded the match after Dibiase and Kurrgan assaulted Nick Bockwinkel and put him out of action with an injury. Bockwinkel is close to returning and will likely be going after Dibiase as soon as he is cleared. Dibiase attempted to bribe Berry with cash before the match but the manager refused to turn on his team. That got the match off to a tense start and in the early going it was the Kangaroos in control as they focused their attack on Dibiase. When Kurrgan tagged in it changed things as the Kangaroos had a difficult time with the massive man from Cape Town, South Africa. Kurrgan nearly pinned Costello with the Paralyzer at one point. Dibiase likewise caught Costello in the Million Dollar Sleeper but was unable to put him away. The battle picked up in intensity with the Kangaroos hitting the Boomerang on Dibiase for a big near fall. The finish of a great bout saw Heffernan going for a deathjump with Kurrgan attempting to stop him. Heffernan then decked Kurrgan knocking him to the mat and followed up with a diving knee drop across the leg. Costello then got the tag and trapped Kurrgan in the Marble Bor Leglock as Heffernan fended off Dibiase. Kurrgan was unable to escape from the punishing hold and tapped out giving the Kangaroos the victory via submission.
8) Randy Savage defeated Ivan Koloff: The main event saw freelance star “Macho Man” Randy Savage go one-on-one with the “Russian Bear” Ivan Koloff. Savage has been preoccupied with his war against Bruiser Brody but make no mistake about it he was ready for the tough challenge of Koloff. Boris Zhukov accompanied Koloff out to the ring but was sent to the back by the referee before the match got underway. Savage got off to a strong start including nailing Koloff with a piledriver resulting in a two count. Koloff battled back and hit the rope straddle and legdrop. He then went up to the top rope and hit a flying clothesline but the move took down the referee as well. During the down time it was Savage connecting with the flying axe handle to the floor and also his trademark Flying Elbow Drop but there was no referee to count the pin. Koloff again fought back but was unable to put the dynamic Savage away. After another piledriver shook up the “Russian Bear” it was Savage connecting with a Neckbreaker Clothesline to score the pin. The crowd cheered the strong victory by Savage who afterward grabbed the chain of Koloff from around the ring post and pointed to it yelling out the name Brody over and over again. Local reporters later cornered Savage and an irate “Macho Man” said that he wanted Brody “anytime, anyplace” and said that if Brody likes using a chain so much they could have a chain match. He also added that Brody’s attempts to get at his father, Angelo Poffo, and his brother, Lanny Poffo, are “bush league” and that there will be “hell to pay” when they meet in the ring again.

Savage fight like a man possessed in his main event encounter against Koloff... And one thing is definitely certain... Macho Man is far from finished when it comes to Bruiser Brody... Chain match? Yes, please...
Exotic Adrian Street Port on an excellent show enroute to good second run with the LOW Junior Heavyweight title... And if course, my favourite match involved watching Moxley do what he did best, as he and Tyler Black went toe-to-toe with Spivey and Bernard... Cannot wait to see the limitations removed from these two teams when they go at it no-DQ style...
Lots of wicked action... With plenty to build upon going forward... As usual, a thoroughly entertaining ride, my friend... Thanks for sharing!

Street over Hodge was a shocker. Savage may have bitten off more than he can chew if attaches himself to Brody with a chain.

I would've loved to have seen Ivan Koloff win, but Randy Savage is a force and his mission still is Brody and that's a cool war. I always enjoy seeing the Roos winning their matches, fun stuff my friend...

CC- are you nuts? Only a commie pinko would pull for Koloff to defeat the Macho Man! Perhaps "CC" is really short for "CCCP". Cruefan- you can't be too careful about the riff-raff that you allow to hang around your federation...
Besides CC showing his true colors (Crimson like the Commies...), the other big shocker was Danny Hodge losing to Adrian Street. Never saw THAT coming!
Keep up the great work with your fed.

That's good stuff, I never thought of the CCCP and it's funny a CCCP poster was in DC's Legends of Tomorrow with them being sent back to the 80's. I do have to say I miss having classic heels like Ivan and Nikita Koloff...

Thanks for the comments Pariah, Bookerbill, Crimson and Daytondave. I too was surprised when Exotic Adrian Street won the title from Danny Hodge but the cool thing is that it is the first championship for Street since he first won that belt eight years ago in game time. Savage vs. Brody in a chain match is definitely something I am looking into.
By the way, Daytondave and Crimson that was a great exchange about Ivan Koloff. Very funny and Crimson's red CC avatar does seem to favor the hated Russian heels represented by Koloff. I have to agree Crimson that classic heels like Uncle Ivan and Nikita Koloff are really missing from the product of today but at least we can go back and watch on video.
Next up will be an NWC show in Buffalo, NY headlined by Andre the Giant, Antonino Rocca, & Buffalo's own Ilio DiPaolo vs. Killer Kowalski, The Warlord, & One Man Gang plus Sabu challenges Roderick Strong for the LOW Tex-Arkana Television title.

... Sabu challenges Roderick Strong for the LOW Tex-Arkana Television title.
I know that Roddy has quite the streak going... But I would absolutely LOVE to see Sabu take the gold... Without a doubt!
