Thanks for the comments Pariah, Bookerbill and Crimson. I always have fun with the IWA shows that is for sure. I must say that the David Marquez card is awesome as it set the ball rolling on how that whole angle played out with Davey Richards turning heel as when I set up the Lumberjack Match it gave me an idea that maybe a new House of Truth member could be revealed. I wish that the David Marquez card was an official card because every promoter should have it. I have been wanting to have a Richards vs. Eddie Edwards match for some time so it looks like now it will become a reality.
I was surprised when Eddie Kingston won the title because I figured the interference attempt by Richards would prevent that but the dice rolled in favor of the "War King". The debut win for Los Primos Rivera really surprised me as when I booked that match I intended it to be a showcase for Moose Nation possibly leading to them getting IWA contracts. To say they bombed out would be an understatement but props to LPR for seizing the moment. I will likely be bringing LPR back for another IWA appearance soon. As for Steen vs. Pringle Dynasty it is going to shock many to see who the mystery partner is and it is not a certain generic luchadore. The reveal should be fun and I hope it plays out well.
Next up will be action from the NWC featuring two PWI Cup Tournament qualifying matches with Mike Graham vs. Ox Baker and Bob Roop vs. Killer Kowalski. I hope to have that posted soon. Thanks again for reading and commenting on the action.

This is very cool to hear... Just like your swerve with Richards joining the House of Truth, I find the most enjoyable developments are those that come from the imagination of the promoter... Can't wait!

LOW Northern Wrestling Corporation - National Arena - Washington, DC (Card #980)
1) Ilio DiPaolo defeated Matt Striker: The opening contest saw popular Italian star Ilio DiPaolo take on Matt Striker, the former teacher appearing courtesy of LOW All-Star Wrestling. DiPaolo was at his best in this one and twice rattled Striker with the big right hands resulting in near falls. He kept up his attack keeping Striker on the defensive and, after a running head ram to the turnbuckle, he executed his trademark Airplane Spin to score the pin.
2) Fritz Von Goering defeated Ricky Landell by Count Out: St. Paul, MN, native Ricky Landell, appearing courtesy of LOW All-Star Wrestling, had the tough task of taking on German star Fritz Von Goering in this match. The capable Landell held his own in the early going until Von Goering nailed him with a counter flying shoulder tackle coming off of the ropes. Von Goering then went to work using a bearhug for a submission chance before tossing Landell out of the ring. Von Goering showed no mercy assaulting Landell on the floor. He ran him back first into the ring post and then executed the Backbreaker to lay him out. Landell was unable to recover and Von Goering was awarded a decisive count out victory.
3) Blue World Order vs. The Warlord & One Man Gang was a DDQ: The bWo fans were out in full force as the Blue World Order (Stevie Richards & Blue Meanie) took on The Warlord & One Man Gang, the massive tag team managed by Captain Lou Albano. With Albano on the road with Greg Valentine, the reigning LOW International Heavyweight champion, The Warlord and OMG had to go at it on their own here. Richards tested fate early by slapping The Warlord and mocking him by doing a muscle pose. The Warlord answered with a short-arm clothesline and then locked on the Full Nelson before tagging out to OMG. The bWo were in a bad way pretty quickly as OMG tossed Richards out of the ring and continued his attack. It wound up with both the Meanie and The Warlord joining in and the referee was unable to restore order so he called for a double disqualification. There is no question that The Warlord and OMG make for a very intimidating team but the bWo did not back down on this night much to the delight of the crowd.
4) Dick Hutton defeated The Sheik by DQ: The former Olympian Dick Hutton out of Tulsa, OK, has looked extremely impressive in recent outings but he had a very tough foe here as he took on The Sheik who was accompanied by his manager Abdullah Farouk. Hutton showed no intimidation in facing the former LOW World Heavyweight and International champion as he was able to dominate most of the match. He twice caught The Sheik in his patented Abdominal Stretch with the first one broke in the ropes and the second one broken up via a distraction by Farouk. The Sheik got back into it using a sharp object to the forehead and gouging, biting and tearing away at Hutton. It was effective but then Hutton stormed back and nearly pinned him with the Oklahoma Sideroll. The Sheik was busted open after a battle on the floor and again it was Hutton trapping him in the Abdominal Stretch. It looked to be over when suddenly Sabu ran in to the ring and attacked Hutton resulting in the disqualification decision.
The Sheik and Farouk both looked on perplexed as Sabu tossed Hutton out to ringside. He then stared down The Sheik, who is his uncle, as Farouk looked for answers. The Sheik and Farouk ultimately backed off and left the ring but Sabu remained as he was involved in the next scheduled match. Hutton, however, had other ideas and jumped back in going after Sabu with the two trading blows. Bill Alfonso, the manager of Sabu, and his regular tag team partner Jerry Lynn then ran in trying to put a stop to the fight. LOW officials also joined in and managed to separate the two but Hutton was clearly upset over the situation. Alfonso and Lynn attempted to calm him down as Sabu paced frantically awaiting their scheduled opponents…
5) Drake Younger & Justin Credible defeated Sabu & Jerry Lynn by DQ: A wild night of action continued with Sabu & Jerry Lynn, accompanied by Bill Alfonso, taking on the “Psycho Shooter” Drake Younger & Justin Credible. These two teams have been engaged in a heated and bloody rivalry over the past few months and this match was no exception. They fought outside the ring as much as they did inside. Sabu, who was busted open during the battle, was really wired for this one likely helped by his prior altercation with Hutton. He hit the Arabian Facebuster on Credible for a near fall and also survived a light tube attack by Younger. Lynn looked good during his time in and scored a big near fall on Credible after hitting the Cradle Piledriver. Younger hit his finisher, Drake’s Landing, on a bloody Sabu but Lynn made a last second save. The finish came on the outside when Sabu draped Younger on top of a table and returned to the ring coming off of the top rope with a legdrop putting both men through the table. Lynn, meanwhile, caught Credible with a sunset flip power bomb from the ring apron to the floor. Sabu recovered and used a piece of the broken table to gouge Younger and the referee called for the bell and it was a fourth consecutive technical decision that ended it. Younger and Credible won it by disqualification and it took both Lynn and Alfonso to restrain Sabu from continuing with a post-match attack. Sabu went to the extreme on this night in Washington and that could be dangerous for everyone he faces from here on out.
6) Tony Atlas, The Patriot, & Marcus Alexander Bagwell defeated Nikolai Volkoff, Iron Sheik, & George Steele: Big six-man tag team action saw “Mr. USA” Tony Atlas join forces with Stars & Stripes (The Patriot & Marcus Alexander Bagwell) to do battle with Nikolai Volkoff, Iron Sheik, & George “The Animal” Steele. Manager Fred Blassie was not at ringside for Volkoff, Sheik and Steele which was a break for Atlas and his partners. This was a hard fought match with both teams looking good. Volkoff punished Atlas in the early going and used the Russian Bearhug for a submission chance. Iron Sheik was at his suplex best hitting a variety of those and also using his controversial loaded boot to do some damage. Stars & Stripes combined with double shoulder tackle on Steele with Atlas making the cover but “The Animal” kicked out with authority. Steele looked good offensively, using his trusty taped foreign object, and had Atlas in trouble late in this one. Atlas, however, dug down deep and blitzed Steele delivering the big dropkick and jumping headbutt. As Stars & Stripes fended off Volkoff and Sheik it was Atlas catching Steele with the Press Slam and Splash to score the pin.
7) PWI Invitational Cup Tournament Qualifying Match: Ox Baker defeated Mike Graham: The first of two qualifying matches in the PWI Invitational Cup Tournament saw a battle of SWA stars with the popular Mike Graham from Tampa, FL, taking on the feared “Master of the Heart Punch” Ox Baker who is a key member of the House of Humperdink. Manager Sir Oliver Humperdink was at ringside for Baker who was hoping to repeat his success from four years ago when he won the prestigious tournament. Graham looked great in the early going as he took the fight to his larger foe including catching him with a suplex. Baker, however, used both his size and strength advantage to battle back and he rocked Graham with a big clothesline. Graham was out of it and Baker honed in on him delivering the Heart Punch to score the pin. Humperdink looked on pleased from ringside as Baker qualified for the tournament and will face Fred Blassie in the opening round during WrestleCade X weekend.
8) PWI Invitational Cup Tournament Qualifying Match: Killer Kowalski defeated Bob Roop: The main event saw another past PWI Cup Tournament winner in GWA star Bob Roop take on NWC representative Killer Kowalski. Roop was hoping to join both Antonino Rocca and Ox Baker in qualifying for the tournament and become the first-ever repeat winner but he had a determined Kowalski standing in his way. Roop withstood a strong attack by Kowalski early and hit both the gut wrench backbreaker and Shoulder Breaker for consecutive near falls. Kowalski then used a giant swing to score a two count and followed with the bombs away knee drop. After a battle on the outside it was Roop scoring a two count with a piledriver. Roop was doing a great job taking on Kowalski but he was unable to put him away. Kowalski busted Roop open after running him into the guard rail and then executed a backbreaker for another near fall. That led to the finish as Kowalski executed a deathjump, delivering a knee across the midsection of Roop, and then locked the Kowalski Claw on his midsection. Roop struggled to escape from the punishing hold but Kowalski increased the pressure and it resulted in a tap out. Kowalski got the win via submission and qualified for the tournament meaning that he will meet King Kong Bundy in the opening round during WrestleCade X weekend.

Some might say that the rash of DQ decisions in the middle of the card was a disappointment... On the contrary, those matches contained my favorite moments of this superb offering out of Washington, DC...
First and foremost, the amount of guts displayed by the bWo was inspiring... Richards and the Meanie are used to entertaining the crowd, but in this one, they showed OMG and Warlord that they can get things done in a straight up fight... Even against some of the biggest, baddest dogs in the yard...
And of course, I'm a sucker for anything Homicidal, Suicidal and/or Genocidal... Who knows what turns the wheels within the mind of Sabu? Even his uncle, The Sheik, seemed perplexed by the man's unpredictable behavior... Younger & Credible receive a win in the record books... But, they sure didn't look like the winners when all was said and done...
As everyone has come to expect from LOW... Awesome stuff from beginning to end... Nice work!

I really liked the victories for the guys I like and they are Ilio DiPaolo, Dick Hutton, Fritz Von Goering in the earlier matches and it's cool Ox Baker and Killer Kowalski each advance in your PWiT...

Nice to see someone else using George Steele as a heel.
I only ever remember him as a face (Wrestlemania 2 onwards) but he suits being a heel much more (at least in my opinion).

Thanks for the comments Pariah, Crimson and Markyhitch. Sabu is on the warpath and the bWo also showed their more extreme side in a match where they were certainly the underdogs. There will be some changes to my fed in the next game year so I am using all of these shows to evaluate talent to see who will make the new rosters. Therefore results like that bWo one will make me think twice when it comes time to making any cuts. Baker and Kowalski advancing sets up unique pairings against Blassie and Bundy respectively in the opening round of the PWI Cup. As for Steele I really do like using him better as a heel. I never really enjoyed his run as a face in WWE so I usually try to have him on the heel side.
Next up is the latest edition of LOW All-Star Wrestling as the build to WrestleCade X continues. Hope you enjoy it.
LOW All-Star Wrestling (Episode 57) - WMC-TV5 Studios - Memphis, TN (Card #981)
The broadcast opened with LOW Commissioner Charlie Cox sitting in his office in New York, NY, to make some important announcements. He said that he was very happy with how the opening round of the PWI Invitational Cup Tournament was shaping up via the qualifying matches and that he expects some spirited competition during WrestleCade X weekend. He then revealed that the LOW Board of Directors got together and made a decision regarding the LOW International Heavyweight title, currently held by Greg Valentine, and the LOW World tag team titles, currently held by the Road Warriors (Animal & Hawk), and where they stand. He said that the LOW International Heavyweight title will be defended at the Tokyo Dome (Card #1001) while the LOW World tag team titles will be defended at WrestleCade X (Card #1000 at the Astrodome in Houston, TX). The challenger for the International title will be determined on the next tour of Kings Road United in Japan between Rikidozan and Giant Baba while a tag team Battle Royal will be held during WrestleCade X weekend to determine the tag team title challengers at the big event.
Cox next focused on the LOW World Heavyweight title and talked over footage of Johnny Valentine winning the belt from Bobo Brazil in Norfolk, VA (Card #974). It was announced that the upcoming 12-Man Gold Star Battle Royal at Madison Square Garden in New York, NY (Card #985) would feature a strong lineup of the top challengers in LOW with the winner getting the title shot at WrestleCade X. The twelve names were then revealed in a video package:
● Bobo Brazil (NWC): 3-Time LOW World Heavyweight and former LOW International Heavyweight champion ● Harley Race (Kings Road United): 2-Time LOW World Heavyweight and 3-Time LOW International Heavyweight champion ● “The Solid Man” William Muldoon (AWE): Former LOW World Heavyweight champion ● “Wildfire” Tommy Rich (SWA): Highly ranked contender from the Southern Wrestling Alliance ● “Ravishing” Rick Rude (AWE): 2-Time LOW International Heavyweight champion ● The Sheik (NWC): Former LOW World Heavyweight and 4-Time LOW International Heavyweight champion ● Jimmy “Superfly” Snuka (PCW): 2-Time LOW World Heavyweight and 2-Time LOW International Heavyweight champion ● “Nature Boy” Buddy Rogers (SWA): LOW Triple Crown Winner – World Heavyweight, International, & World tag team champion ● “Rowdy” Roddy Piper (PCW): Former LOW International Heavyweight champion ● Lou Thesz (SWA): 2-Time LOW World Heavyweight champion ● Nick Bockwinkel (GWA): 2-Time LOW World Heavyweight champion ● “Russian Lion” George Hackenschmidt (GWA): 3-Time LOW World Heavyweight and former LOW International Heavyweight champion
Following the video package it was announcer Lance Russell taking over and welcoming Dave Brown back to the broadcast following his time off. Russell said that with WrestleCade X looming there are so many things going on in LOW and that it is an exciting time. Brown agreed and pointed out that the very unique stars of the 80’s Mania Wrestling promotion have been bringing their own brand of “sports entertainment” excitement to things as well. Russell noted that 8MW has been in the process of crowning their own world heavyweight champion over the past week and that via videotape they would review the tournament results to date and then would send it to a live feed of the match to crown the first champion noting that all matches have taken place at the famed Empire Gardens:
FIRST ROUND: Ace Arcadium defeated Tennis Pro (pinfall – Cheat Code) Skullgore defeated Warhawk (pinfall – Diving Skullbutt) Mighty Leo defeated The Piranha (pinfall – Big Cat Splash) Jet Set Strutter defeated Rad Racer (submission – Six-Figure Leglock) Lazer defeated Johnny Kobra (submission – Lazerlock) Star Boy defeated Cobalt Commander (pinfall – Counter Sunset Flip) Arizona Chance defeated Hammerhead (pinfall – Whiplash Crack) Bug Buster defeated Dark Invader by DQ (Outside Ring Attack)
SECOND ROUND: Ace Arcadium defeated Skullgore (pinfall – Cheat Code) Jet Set Strutter defeated Mighty Leo (submission – Six-Figure Leglock) Lazer defeated Star Boy (pinfall – Cross Bodyblock) Arizona Chance defeated Bug Buster by Count Out
SEMI-FINAL ROUND: Ace Arcadium defeated Jet Set Strutter (pinfall – Game Over) Arizona Chance defeated Lazer (pinfall – Whiplash Crack)
After the video clips aired Russell said that the highly anticipated final round match between Arizona Chance and Ace Arcadium to determine the first 8MW World Heavyweight champion would be opening up the broadcast and then turned things over to Brown for more.
DB: “Thanks Lance and boy do we have a big show lined up for today. In addition to that unique 8MW World Heavyweight title match we have Rikidozan, the head of Kings Road United, both in action and at ringside for an exclusive interview along with SWA star “Wildfire” Tommy Rich and The Sheepherders (Butch Miller & Luke Williams) from the NWC in action. We also have another championship match as Roderick Strong will go for an astounding twenty successful title defenses as the LOW Tex-Arkana Television champion when he faces ASW’s own Henry Irslinger. In addition to all of that PWI Editor Bill Apter will be bringing us an exclusive interview he conducted with the undefeated Andre the Giant and try to get an answer on if he will accept the challenge to face Mil Mascaras at WrestleCade X. Now I would normally go to our ring announcer Gary Michael Cappetta for the introductions to our opening match but instead I will throw it over live to the Empire Gardens as our computerized colleague Rex Spectrum brings us that 8MW World Heavyweight championship match.”
1) 8MW World Heavyweight Title Tournament – Final Round: Arizona Chance defeated Ace Arcadium to win the title: The final round match between good guys Ace Arcadium, from Ottumwa, IA, and Arizona Chance, from Tombstone, AZ, had the crowd going crazy. Both men went into the match showing fatigue from their tough semi-final bouts. Arcadium won a hard fought battle over pre-tournament favorite Jet Set Strutter, putting him away with Game Over. Earlier in that match he used the powerful Cheat Code, a powerslam from off the top rope, but somehow Strutter kicked out. Strutter would then lock on his trademark Six-Figure Leglock but it was broken up in the ropes. The win by Arcadium had the crowd erupting in cheers. Chance also had an extremely tough bout with the very popular Lazer, even surviving the Lazerlock at one point. It was the Whiplash Crack, a sudden hard chop to the chest, which rattled Lazer as Chance rolled him up for the pin.
After the ring introductions made by Honest Al, the four commissioners of 8MW – Mr. Greenhorn, Mr. Codger, Mr. Gold and Mr. Fantasy – converged on the two finalists and held up the beautifully crafted 80’s inspired 8MW World Heavyweight title belt. The crowd gasped in excitement knowing that they were only a three count or submission away from seeing history made. Once the bell rang it was Chance going all out against Arcadium who clearly wasn’t at one-hundred percent. Chance was able to avoid a sustained offensive from his larger foe and quickly surprised him with the Last Crusade, a Flying Lariat off of the ropes, to score the pin. Chance was crowned the first 8MW World Heavyweight champion and received a standing ovation from the crowd as he was presented with the title belt. Arcadium showed great class in defeat as he strapped the belt around the waist of Chance and then shook hands with the new champion. Honest Al caught up with Chance as he left the ring and he said that he looked forward to defending the championship against any and all challengers.
2) Rikidozan defeated Dupae Rupa: Kings Road United founder Rikidozan made a special appearance on ASW taking on “The Belgian Brawler” Dupae Rupa. Rikidozan showed great form here taking some offense from Rupa and dishing out plenty of his own. A barrage of overhead chop had Rupa reeling and Rikidozan honed in on him and executed the Hiplock to score the pin. It was an impressive showing by Rikidozan who received a nice ovation from the studio audience.
● Interview – Rikidozan: Lance Russell ventured over to ringside to speak with Rikidozan following his win over Dupae Rupa. Russell immediately addressed what has become an annual major event in LOW and that is Kings Road United opening each new year at the Tokyo Dome. Rikidozan said that it is very important for KRU to put together a strong card for the event especially since it follows WrestleCade on the calendar. He said in negotiating with LOW Commissioner Charlie Cox for the event this year he was able to secure two championship matches, one being for the LOW International Heavyweight title and the other being the crowning of the first Ring Angels champion which will take place in a 16-Woman Battle Royal. Russell said that is exciting news and that the Ring Angels championship, in particular, has to be partly credited to the KRU founder who joined with Sumie Sakai to create the division. Rikidozan thanked him for that and said that Sakai, who will be competing in the match, deserves the full credit for helping found a division that gives the women of LOW a place to compete outside of SHIMMER. Russell then addressed the International title situation and asked Rikidozan how it feels to be facing his protégé Shohei” Giant” Baba at Budokan Hall in Tokyo, Japan (Card #994) to determine who will get that title match. He said that originally it was going to be Antonio Inoki facing Baba but Inoki accepted an invitation to participate in the qualifying round of the PWI Cup tournament so the change had to be made. Russell wished him luck in the match with Baba and then asked him about the next KRU tour. Rikidozan said that then next tour opens in Honolulu, HI (Card #992) and concludes with the Budokan Hall show. He said there are some big names signed for the tour, including Bullet Club and international sensation Will Ospreay from England, but that he is really proud to introduce four new graduates of the KRU dojo. Making their debut on the tour as graduates of the dojo are Matt Riddle, a former MMA star from Las Vegas, NV, the masked sensation Shynron and a tag team combination named Power Surge (William Forve & Paul Pope). He expects that all four will be able to make an impact in KRU based on the scouting reports he has received. Russell thanked Rikidozan for his time and threw it to commercial break.
3) The Sheepherders defeated Danny Doring & Amish Roadkill: Tag team action was featured next as Danny Doring & Amish Roadkill took on the NWC team of The Sheepherders (Butch Miller & Luke Williams) who were joined by their flag bearer Ken Doane. The bloodthirsty Kiwi stars from New Zealand dominated early and had Doring pinned after delivering the Double Gutbuster but the pin was broken up by Roadkill. Doring recovered and nailed Miller with the Danaconda for a big near fall. Roadkill took over for a stretch and looked impressive but The Sheepherders eventually turned the tables. The finish saw Williams score the pin on Roadkill after The Sheepherders combined on the Running Knee Smash.
4) LOW Tex-Arkana Television title: Roderick Strong© defeated Henry Irslinger to retain the title: It was a huge opportunity for ASW’s own Henry Irslinger as he took on Roderick Strong, accompanied by manager Truth Martini, for the LOW Tex-Arkana Television title. Martini stopped by the announce table during the introductions telling Russell and Brown that title defense number twenty was in the bag, boasting that Irslinger was no threat to the title. The announcers disagreed noting that Irslinger has picked up a number of key wins during his career. Irslinger in fact held the advantage for a good stretch until both men collided when Strong bounced out of the corner. Strong recovered first and alertly hit the End of Heartache, a vertical suplex dropped into a double knee backbreaker, to score the pin. Just like that Strong extended his record streak with his version twenty defense of the LOW Tex-Arkana Television title. The history books continue to be rewritten by Strong and Martini could hardly contain himself taunting ringsiders with his Book of Truth afterward. The manager again stopped by the announce table, much to the chagrin of Russell and Brown, and said as usual he was right and quickly noted that despite the powers that be “robbing” Delirious of the IWA Heavyweight title that the House of Truth is stronger than ever thanks to Strong and the recent addition of Davey Richards to the fold. Russell said that sadly Martini might be right about that and also noted that Strong has now held the television title for one full calendar year in LOW.
5) Tommy Rich defeated Johnny Rodz: Popular SWA star “Wildfire” Tommy Rich, who earlier was named a participant in the 12-Man Gold Star Battle Royal at MSG, took on the “Unpredictable” Johnny Rodz. Rich showed the skills that earned him that opportunity as he defeated the veteran Rodz in short order scoring the pin with the Thesz Press. Rich stopped by the announce table afterward and said he was “Fiiiired Up” for that opportunity and that his goal is to earn the LOW World Heavyweight title shot at WrestleCade X.
● Interview – Andre the Giant: PWI Editor Bill Apter caught up with the undefeated “Eight Wonder of the World” Andre the Giant at his home in North Carolina for this exclusive interview. Apter was given a tour of the property, and even got to sit in Andre’s oversized lounge chair, before getting to ask some important questions. He went straight for the news coming out of the last edition of ASW where Mil Mascaras, the record seven-time LOW World Heavyweight champion, expressed interest in facing Andre in a match at WrestleCade X. Apter noted that Mascaras passed up the opportunity to compete in the 12-Man Gold Star Battle Royal at MSG and thus a chance to earn a shot at the LOW World Heavyweight title on the biggest stage of them all at the Astrodome in Houston, TX (Card #1000) in order to try end the undefeated streak of Andre. After a few moments of silence Andre spoke up in his thick French accent saying that while he respects Mascaras, a man he has teamed with on a few occasions, he knows that there is no way that the legendary masked man can defeat him. He said that Mascaras can defeat anyone in LOW but that he is no match for someone of his great size and strength. Apter said that Mascaras has amazing agility and ring generalship which could be in his favor in such a match. Andre laughed that off and said that he could easily cope with that by swatting Mascaras down like a fly. Apter seemed surprised at that response but Andre said that no man, Mascaras included, can defeat him especially when he is determined to prove a point which would be the case at WrestleCade X. Andre added that Mascaras made a fatal mistake by turning down his world title opportunity to make this challenge and said that he should be grateful to receive those opportunities because he has never had one. Apter agreed with him on that point and said that if anyone deserves a world title shot it is Andre. Apter then asked whether or not he was going to accept the challenge? Andre took a moment before answering with a resounding “yes” that rumbled through the microphone. Andre concluded by saying that he was going to go to LOW All-Star Wrestling next week (Card #991) and that he expected Mascaras to be there too so they can sign an official contract for the match at WrestleCade X.
6) Les Thatcher defeated Nikita Breznikov: With television time running out this expiration of time match between Les Thatcher and Nikita Breznikov was limited to one fall. Breznikov jumped Thatcher before the bell trying to get the upper hand but that proved to be a mistake. Thatcher quickly turned the tables on the former manager and after a strong offensive he would nail him with a Series of Dropkicks to score the pin.
Before the broadcast went off the air Lance Russell revealed late breaking news received from the office of LOW Commissioner Charlie Cox that a huge match had now been made official for WrestleCade X. He revealed that the torrid rivalry between freelance stars “Macho Man” Randy Savage and “King Kong” Bruiser Brody will be settled in a final battle. The two will meet in a Loser Leaves LOW match contested inside of a Barbed Wire Steel Cage, a match that will no doubt be violent and bloody and one that will see the loser have to pack his bags and find work elsewhere. Russell said that the stakes have been raised as high as they can go and that no doubt history will be made in many ways that night at WrestleCade X.

Big time congratulations to Arizona Chance on becoming the first ever 8MW Champion in LOW... Very cool, as he definitely my favorite character in that promotion...
Looks like the best KRU tour is shaping up nicely... Giant Baba vs Rikidozan for a shot at the LOW International Heavyweight title should rock the venue to its core... Ring Angels will offer an exciting new extension to women's wrestling... And I'm particularly stoked for the debut of the 'Aerial Assassin' Will Os-preaayyy...
But, the most memorable moment of this show has to be Apter's interview with the Eighth Wonder of the World... Not only did Andre accept the challenge of Mil Mascaras for WrestleCade X... He also alluded to something that could send shockwaves throughout the entire industry... He has NEVER been granted a shot at the LOW World Heavyweight Championship... And it seems like he is VERY aware of this fact... Is this something we could see in the near future? Oh, snap...
The hype continues to build... Loving it!

Oh I would love to see Andre get a title shot! Mascaras vs Andre will be an epic battle. I do feel that Mil Mascaras is one of those guys who could upset The Giant. Great 'go home show' here...with the added excitement of Macho Vs Brody coming up. Rage in the cage!
As always, perfect story telling and lots of drama!
(And Johnny Rodz...!)

That is pretty cool seeing Arizona Chance winning the 8MW Title, but what is the highlight for me and you know it is and that's Roderick Strong making it 20 defenses of his LOW Tex-Arkana Television Title and it's always great to see a champion hold the gold for a full calendar year. It has to be fun for you Crue in having Strong having such a great reign, congrats on Strong having a solid run so far...
