Tiger Mask versus Ricochet read like it was a stellar bout and Ricochet showing class was a nice touch and The Shield winning it all is good stuff. I agree with Vegas on the use of Drew Galloway in your The Shield faction...

Going right along with what's been stated already - Drew Galloway is an excellent fit for The Shield... Even though I was hoping to see Fear the Beards go all the way, it was an incredible ending to the King of Trios tournament...
Having Aries and Moose walk out on Lethal and Val was an interesting twist... Wondering how this angle will develop in the coming weeks...
Congratulations to KoW on becoming the new IWA Tag Team Champions... Definitely well deserved... And Steen's Fight Without Honor against the IWA Heavyweight Champion more than lived up to the hype... Great job by Unbreakable Elgin to hold onto the title...
Top notch show from start to finish... Nice work!

Thanks very much for the comments Vegas, Crimson and Pariah. When I was putting together the teams for KOT I was having a hard time deciding on a third member of The Shield and I almost decided against having them in. When I came across Drew Galloway in my card pile I thought it over and it hit me that he had the right size and even look with the long hair to fill the Roman Reigns role on the team. Those three really worked well together as evidenced by their KOT win and I am hoping they will be able to build on that success in the IWA.
That night three was incredibly fun to roll out as Ricochet-Tiger Mask, KOW-Osirian Portal and Elgin-Steen all played out great as did trhe KOT tournament matches. It may have been one of the most enjoyable cards I ever played. Right now I am on a little dice rolling break, or burnout lol, but I should have my next show posted on Saturday. That will be LOW All-Star Wrestling featuring a big surprise contract signing and after that will come the first Kings Road United tour of the year. Gaijin talent featured on that tour will be Buddy Rogers, Killer Kowalski, Curt Hennig, TJ Perkins, Ultramantis Black, Dr. Cube, The Fantastics and Reno Scum.

LOW All-Star Wrestling (Episode 60) - WMC-TV5 Studios - Memphis, TN (Card #1011)
The broadcast opened with announcer Lance Russell in the parking lot of the studio where he said he was awaiting the arrival of manager Bobby “The Brain” Heenan. It took a few moments before a black stretch limousine was seen pulling into the entrance and then pulled up alongside Russell who had to sweep the microphone cord away from the vehicle. The driver got out of the front door and walked to the rear of the limousine opening the door for Heenan. Russell immediately moved in for a comment but Heenan brushed him away before leaning back into the vehicle and saying something. Heenan then closed the door and made his way over to where Russell was standing.
LR: “Ok Bobby I waited out here for you so what exactly is going on. Who else is inside that vehicle?”
BH: “It’s none of your business, Russell, as to who else is in that vehicle. The only thing you need to know is why I am here and the answer to that is sealed right here in this envelope that I am holding.”
LR: “Ok you have my attention so what is in the envelope, we don’t really have all day to stand out here. In fact why don’t we just go in the studio to discuss this?”
BH: “I am only here for a pit stop, Russell, and this place really is the pits. Besides do you really think I want to go inside that studio to talk to the humanoids when I can just deliver my news and then get on a flight out of here.”
LR: “Ok Bobby enough of that, we have some great fans here today and they are patiently waiting for some action in the ring so what is your news?”
BH: “Well I have the news that everyone has been waiting for and right inside this envelope I have a signed contract that will change the course of LOW history. What I have here is a contract signed by both LOW Commissioner Charlie Cox and LOW World Heavyweight champion Johnny Valentine. What that means is that I have the contract for the next LOW World Heavyweight title match which will take place at Madison Square Garden in New York, NY (Card #1016) and the place holder for the name of the challenger is empty. Therefore I am proud to introduce you to your next LOW World Heavyweight champion, the only undefeated man in the history of LOW and the true “Eighth Wonder of the World” – Andre the Giant!”
At that point the driver opened up the door and out stepped the intimidating 7”5” and 475-pound Andre the Giant who towered over both Russell and Heenan. He then put his arm around Russell and grabbed the mic saying in his thick French accent that there was only one thing left to do. He grabbed the contract from Heenan and put it on top of the limousine where he proceeded to sign it in the role of the challenger. He then grabbed the mic back from a startled Russell and let out a bellowing laugh before saying that Valentine should enjoy the time that he has left because he will become the new LOW World Heavyweight champion at MSG. Heenan expressed his joy over that turn of events and then informed Russell that he and Andre were leaving for a working vacation in the French Alps where Andre will train for his match with Valentine. The two then got into the limousine which sped off as Russell attempted to gather his thoughts. He then threw it to Dave Brown to inform everyone of what was coming up on the show.
DB: “Thanks Lance, and that was an incredible moment and one that none of us will soon forget. Andre the Giant challenging for the LOW World Heavyweight title is something that has never happened and I can only imagine what things will be like if he wins it. Oh boy, well coming up on the broadcast today we have the popular Hacksaw Jim Duggan in action along with a top new tag team called the Dream Team (Brutus Beefcake & Greg “The Hammer” Valentine) plus the “Mormon Giant” Don Leo Jonathan of the new promotion Golden Age Wrestling will be here. In addition we have special interviews with Rowdy Roddy Piper & Cowboy Bob Orton of Pacific Coast Wrestling along with Exotic Adrian Street from World of Sport. To top it all off Roderick Strong will be here to defend the LOW Tex-Arkana Television title against ASW’s own “The Birdman” Koko B. Ware in what should be a fine championship contest. Ok well let’s throw it on over to ring announcer Gary Michael Cappetta to bring an official start to today’s action.”
1) Hacksaw Jim Duggan defeated Mr. X: Chants of “Hyoooooo” filled the studio as a 2x4 wielding Hacksaw Jim Duggan hit the ring for the opening match against Mr. X. The announcers brought up how the popular Duggan made a surprise return to LOW at WrestleCade X assisting The Fantastics (Bobby Fulton & Tommy Rogers) in their feud with Jim Cornette and the Midnight Express. They then talked about how The Fantastics are embarking on an upcoming tour of Japan for Kings Road United. Mr. X fared well in this bout but in the end it was Duggan blasting him with the Flying Spear to score the pin.
● Interview – Roddy Piper & Cowboy Bob Orton: PWI Editor Bill Apter conducted this pre-recorded interview with PCW stars “Rowdy” Roddy Piper and “The Ace” Cowboy Bob Orton at Piper’s home in Oregon just days after his big win over Jimmy Snuka in Portland (Card #1005). The three met in the spacious backyard where Piper and Orton sat under an umbrella while forcing Apter to sit out in the sun. Before Apter could even utter a word he was cut off by Piper who said that there will be no questions about Snuka or the interview will be over. Apter couldn’t believe that request but honored it and asked Piper how he and Orton decided to form a partnership. Piper said it was a “stupid question” but then said that he and Orton go back a long way, even before joining LOW, and that Orton has once again resumed the role of his bodyguard and tag team partner. Apter said that Orton was always quite effective in that role and asked whether they would make a bid to win the LOW World tag team titles. Piper called that a “stupid question” once again and decided not to answer asking Apter “What else you got?” Apter shuffled through his notes and said that the Pacific Northwest area has long been a key destination for Piper and what brought him back to the area this time. Piper laughed and said “stupid question” and asked Apter to leave his property. Apter got up and was about to leave when Orton grabbed him by the shoulder and directed him back to the table. Piper took Apter’s note pad and tore it up before grabbing his camera and tearing out the film. He said that no one is allowed to take photos on his property and then handed the camera back to a shaken Apter. Piper then joked that it was kind of hot outside so maybe Apter needed to be cooled down. Orton then grabbed Apter by his shirt and his belt and threw him into the in ground pool drawing a big hearty laugh from Piper. The cameraman then dropped his camera and ran to poolside to help Apter out as Piper and Orton had security subsequently escort them off of the property. As the video ended a disgusted Russell said there was no call for the actions of Piper and Orton and that they should be ashamed of themselves for what they put Apter through since he was only doing his job. Brown agreed and said that a commercial break was needed to reflect on what they just witnessed.
2) Dream Team defeated Backseat Boys: As the Backseat Boys (Trent Acid & Johnny Kashmere) prepared to take on the Dream Team (Brutus Beefcake & Greg “The Hammer” Valentine), Russell and Brown continued to voice their disgust over the antics of Roddy Piper and Bob Orton during that interview segment with PWI Editor Bill Apter. The match was a good one as the Backseat Boys held their own for a good stretch. They hit the T-Gimmick on Beefcake with Acid going for the pin but Valentine broke it up with a falling elbow hammer to the head. Beefcake then softened up Acid hitting an atomic drop and a clothesline. He then made the tag and Valentine caught Acid with an elbow to the head from the second rope before trapping him in the Figure Four Leglock for the submission victory. Russell said that he was very impressed by the Dream Team and that he wouldn’t be surprised if they go a long way in the CWA.
3) Masked Superstar defeated Ricky Landell: The capable Ricky Landell out of St. Paul, MN, took on the rugged Masked Superstar who recently joined PCW after a long run with Kings Road United in Japan. The announcers again brought up the upcoming KRU tour which will feature GWA stars “Nature Boy” Buddy Rogers and Killer Kowalski, among others. They also noted that Penny Banner will make her first defense of the Ring Angels title against Sumie Sakai on Sapporo, Japan (Card #1013). Landell started off like a house on fire and hit a missile dropkick before whipping the Superstar into the ropes. He attempted a backdrop but the Superstar countered with a double sledge to the upper back and then locked on the Cobra Hold scoring an impressive submission victory.
4) LOW Tex-Arkana Television title: Roderick Strong© defeated Koko B. Ware to retain the title: The “Birdman” Koko B. Ware attempted to do the seemingly impossible as he tried to win the LOW Tex-Arkana Television title from Roderick Strong. Accompanied by his manager Truth Martini, Strong looked very confident going into the match but Ware gave him everything he could handle and more. Strong was nearly counted out in the early going after Ware connected with a bodyblock off of the ring apron. Ware then surprised Strong with the Ghostbuster and went for the pin but Strong got his foot over the bottom rope at the count of one. Martini breathed a sigh of relief but then nearly had heart failure as Ware followed up with another Ghostbuster and went for the pin with Strong barely kicking out before the three count. Strong bounced back and hit End of Heartache for what looked to be a sure pin but Ware kicked out at two much to the dismay of both Strong and Martini. A half nelson backbreaker led to another near fall but Ware began battling back. He attempted a deathjump but Strong moved out of the way and quickly caught the “Birdman” with a Cradle Hold to score the pin and retain the title. Strong was very fortunate to retain the title in what was his version twenty-five defense of the championship on this historic run.
5) Kevin Sullivan & Lord Zoltan defeated S.D. Jones & Jim Powers: Feature tag team action saw the popular ASW pairing of S.D. Jones & Jim Powers taking on Kevin Sullivan & Lord Zoltan of the CWA. Sullivan came out carrying a snake around his shoulders and that sent the announcers and the crowd scurrying when he approached. The mysterious Zoltan appeared to be in a trance as he entered the ring. Sullivan eventually handed the snake off and hit the ring ready for action. This was a hard fought match that twice broke down and nearly ended in a double disqualification decision. Jones used a sleeper hold on Sullivan for a submission chance and Powers followed with a crossbody block for a two count. Zoltan was very impressive during his time in and nearly pinned Jones with a big splash. He also used a rope to choke out Jones while Sullivan distracted the referee. The finish saw the maniacal Sullivan dig into his bag of tricks as he used a taped piece of metal for a Foreign Object attack striking Jones in the throat to score the pin. Sullivan stopped by the announce table afterward uttering a number of bizarre and somewhat satanic sayings as the equally unstable Zoltan nodded in approval.
● Interview – Exotic Adrian Street: Lance Russell ventured to ringside to introduce the one and only Exotic Adrian Street, a former two-time LOW Junior Heavyweight champion. Street was accompanied by his valet Miss Linda who was busy brushing his hair while Russell tried to conduct the interview. Russell asked Street if he was going to attempt to win the title for a third time but he said he has “better things to do” and that the new champion, Jerry Lynn, would not be a sufficient challenge for him. Russell balked at that saying that Lynn is a very credible champion and that was proven by his title victory over Danny Hodge in St. Petersburg, FL (Card #1004) and it was Lynn beating the man that defeated Street for the title. Street called Russell a “bore” and said that he has much more exciting things to discuss and that is the contract that he has signed to be on the roster of the new World of Sport promotion which has its home base in his native England. Russell said that on the last edition of ASW there was a WOS preview match between David Taylor and Tommy End that everyone is still talking about. Street said that he watched the match from his palatial estate in the Royal Forest of Dean and thought that both men could have done “a little better” in representing WOS. Russell disagreed and said that the match was great and showed that matches under WOS rules can be a great contrast to the style of action normally seen throughout LOW. Street countered saying that when you put a master technician like him in there only then can you truly understand the beauty of WOS. He then talked about the WOS debut show taking place at Town Hall in Leeds, England (Card #1022) and said that no matter who his opponent is that night he will emerge victorious and stand at the top of the WOS rankings. Russell wished him luck and Street said “luck is for losers like you, greatness is for winners like me” and then blew a kiss towards the camera as the show went to commercial break.
6) Don Leo Jonathan defeated George South: With television time running out it was George South taking on the “Mormon Giant” Don Leo Jonathan of the GWA. The announcers brought up the Golden Age Wrestling debut show which takes place in Des Moines, IA (Card #1027) and said that Jonathan should be a force to be reckoned with there. He pretty much dominated this bout and, after South missed a corner charge and hit the ring post, it was Jonathan hitting the Mormon Swing to score the pin. As the broadcast came to an end a quick recap video aired of Andre the Giant signing the contract to face Johnny Valentine for the LOW World Heavyweight title in New York, NY (Card #1016).

Finally! The contract has been signed and the UNDEFEATED Eighth Wonder of the World is going to get his shot at the LOW World Heavyweight title... Wouldn't I like to be the proverbial fly on the wall inside Johnny Valentine's mind... Has a champion ever had more to worry about? Ever? That segment will live on as one of the most memorable moments in this great federation's history...
Classic Piper during that interview with Bill Apter... Hot Rod is definitely not in the market for new friends and I can't wait to see what trouble he finds next with Ace at his side...
Thoroughly enjoyed the Birdman's formidable effort against Roddy Strong... Not surprised that Martini nearly lost his composure... Lots of close calls...
Another spectacular show, my friend... Things just keep getting better!

Great show. It really reminded me of those classic Memphis shows. You captured the essence of that show wonderfully! I look forward to Andre's title opportunity.

You know I've got tickets for the World Of Sport show in Leeds and Mr Street is absolutely correct. He's going to take WoS to the next level!
Like the TV studio format off All Start Wrestling. A great mix of action, skits and interview spots. I'd call it a show of 'competitive squash matches' which I for one really enjoy (and employ in my fed) as they help build up your future events.
been catching up on your pots over the last week or so, always entertaining!

Thanks for the comments Pariah, Mike824 and Joebreakdown. I am both excited and worried about Andre challenging for the world title. We shall see what happens. See you in Leeds, Joebreakdown, and you will be given a complimentary front row ticket upgrade for World of Sport. Koko B. Ware almost made history as he had control of that match until missing the dive and Roderick Strong was able to put him away. I had a lot of fun writing both the Roddy Piper and Adrian Street segments, not to mention Andre the Giant and Bobby Heenan. There are times I wish every show was ASW but I guess it's better to limit it or maybe I would get burned out. I have watched tons of Memphis over the years and I try to capture the studio feel for this show. Thanks a lot for the comments and coming next will be a Kings Road United tour of Japan which will hopefully be posted in full by the weekend.

BH: “It’s none of your business, Russell, as to who else is in that vehicle. The only thing you need to know is why I am here and the answer to that is sealed right here in this envelope that I am holding.” What a great man The Brain is. He knows just how to introduce someone of Andre's calibre and the fact that he doesn't lower himself to exchange unnecessary pleasantries with the humanoids just adds to his dignity and distinction. I think sometimes interviewers and people of that ilk forget just who they are talking to, but Heenan always puts them back in their place. The announcers were talking all over Mr X's match, it seemed like they weren't even watching it - don't they know how rude that is? No wonder he lost concentration and ended up losing to that fool Duggan... An entertaining interview from Adrain Street, as usual. I am really looking forward to seeing him compete in World of Sport, I know the crowd will be especially hot if any of the events take place in his native Wales.

It's great to see the Dream Team win, but man 25 defenses by Roderick Strong is killer cool and I'm really pulling for him to have 30 defenses. More great action, keep it coming my friend...
