Is there anything better than a wrestling show ending with a wild brawl. Great action! The Colony victory was fun and I am looking forward to Moose and Kingston in Las Vegas. Snake eyes proved unlucky for the American Dragon but the mystery of who will be the partner for Danielson in Las Vegas is a creative twist. Maybe it is time for the “Spider” to return to action. Excellent main event with Elgin being laid out .

Whoa. That was very close for Roderick Strong, but he still keeps the strap...

Can't believe that Roddy is only one away from the big 3-Oh! That is an awesome run he has going... Although you'll never convince me that he's a top contender, there was definitely no shame in Adrian Armour's performance... He made the Tex-Arkana TV champ earn that one...
Super DUPER stoked that Matt 'Son of Havoc' Cross was able to capture the J-Crown... This guy has rapidly become one of my all-time faves and it's great to see him wearing gold... Classy display by the former champ, Kyle O'Reilly (not to mention his partner, Bobby Fish... another favorite of mine - too bad he lost earlier in the show) at the conclusion of the hard fought bout...
Wicked to see Kendrick and London tagging up once again... As stated, that was definitely a rough loss to the Briscoes... It looked like they poured everything they had into that one... Credit where it's due, however - the Briscoes are the stick by which all other teams are measured...
So much going on, it's impossible to remark it all... Great effort by DDP and the Shield... Very cool how well Galloway fits in with Moxley and Black...
Danielson vs Steen was utterly off the chain... Too bad the broadcast audience missed that one... But, even more exciting were the post-match developments... Can't wait to see who Macho Man chooses to join forces with the American Dragon...
IWA continues to be my favorite promotion under the LOW umbrella... Hard hitting action with top notch angle development from the opening curtain jerk all the way to the main event... Adding Savage to commentary was a stroke of genius and I find his Macho presence adds a lot to the show... Bravo, my friend... Take a bow... You deserve it every time!

The Spider, why who could that be Bookerbill ? I hadn't even thought of that possibility but the "Macho Man" has certainly had an alternate identity before so who knows. That is an interesting way to go about it for sure so we will see what happens in Las Vegas. Thanks Bookerbill, Crimson and Pariah for the comments. Thanks also Crimson for the reminder that Roderick Strong is at #29 and even though it was a tricky way for Strong to earn it Adrian Armour nearly made history himself. The upcoming edition of LOW All-Star Wrestling (Card #1031) will feature his next title defense and LOW Commissioner Charlie Cox has already stated that due to the actions of Strong and Truth Martini in picking out of the hat he will be putting together a small Battle Royal to determine who Strong will defend the title against on that show. I agree with you Pariah in that Matt Cross, who is great as "Son of Havoc", winning the IWA J-Crown title was great. That match was awesome to roll out as either guy could have won it. With O'Reilly dropping the title I am looking to book some more reDRagon matches on upcoming shows. Londrick vs. Briscoes was just as much fun to roll out and Dem Boys winning was huge as it should put them back in line for an IWA tag team title match. I am also excited about what Londrick can bring to the IWA tag team division. That was a tough card to finish up due to a lot of storylines coming out of the results but I am really happy with how things turned out. An IWA spot show (Card #1030) is coming up next headlined by Osirian Portal vs. Kings of Wrestling for the tag titles and a big six-man tag with Rob Van Dam, Ricochet & Will Ospreay facing Austin Aries, Chuck Taylor & Johnny Gargano. I have a busy week ahead outside of dice rolling so I'm not sure when I will get to it but hopefully by the end of next weekend. Thanks again guys I really appreciate all of the great feedback.

I had a chance to finish up this IWA show so I hope you enjoy it. The next show will be LOW All-Star Wrestling where we will hear the decision from LOW Commissioner Charlie Cox regarding a possible suspension of Andre the Giant or a rematch with LOW World Heavyweight champion Johnny Valentine...
IWA - The Soft Parade - Masonic Center - Cincinnati, OH (Card #1030)
1) Joey Ryan defeated Cheeseburger: The card opened with cult favorite Cheeseburger out of Trenton, NJ, taking on the “King of Sleaze” Joey Ryan based out of Hollywood, CA. The early action fluctuated until Cheeseburger missed with a corner charge and Ryan countered with a roll-up for a two count. Ryan then hit the Walk-Off, his version of the superkick, but it only resulted in a two count. Cheeseburger showed great resiliency there and would come back hitting moves like the Ultra Huracanrana and super DDT. He then nailed Ryan with the Shotei Palm Strike but he kicked out before the three count. Ryan battled back hard delivering a pedigree followed by the Mustache Ride, a swinging neckbreaker from the second rope, but he pulled Cheeseburger up at the count of two drawing jeers from the crowd. Ryan then hit Cheeseburger with another Walk-Off and covered him to score the pin.
2) Rich Swann defeated Big Sue Jackson: The charismatic Rich Swann, a 165-pounder out of Baltimore, MD, took on a competitor twice his size in 366-pound Big Sue Jackson from Kokomo, IL. Swann needed to use his speed to dominate and he did just that keeping Jackson off balance for most of the match. Swann hit some nice aerial moves including the Leap From Swann Pond, a front roll into a standing frog splash, and the Shooting-Swann Press. Jackson struck back with his size advantage and shook up Swann with a big Samoan Drop that nearly resulted in a three count. He also flattened Swann with the senton and hip attack along with roughing him up on the outside. The finishing sequence was great as Swann countered out of a nerve hold and hit the backflip kick. Jackson was stunned and that allowed Swann to nail him with the Chicken Fried Driver, which is a spinning vertical suplex into a piledriver, to score the pin.
IWA Commissioner David Marquez entered the ring post-match and congratulated Swann on his big win, most notably for executing that finisher on a much larger foe. Swann thanked him and was about to leave the ring when Marquez called him back and said he had some big news. Marquez revealed that the IWA Board of Directors had nominated Swann to be the version one title challenger for new IWA J-Crown champion Matt Cross in Las Vegas, NV (Card #1039). The crowd erupted in cheers as an emotional Swann again thanked Marquez and celebrated with a dance routine to his entrance music, All Night Long by Lionel Richie.
3) Timothy Thatcher defeated Ron Hutchison: Veteran journeyman wrestler Ron Hutchison, who trained SHIMMER star Trish Stratus, took on a tough foe in Timothy Thatcher out of Sacramento, CA. Thatcher, a submission specialist who has been aligned with both Johnny Gargano and Nigel McGuinness in the IWA, countered an early offensive by Hutchison with a fingers bender into a cross armbreaker. He also blasted him with London Bridge Falling Down, a backdrop into a European uppercut, and scored a two count with a cradle hold after Hutchison missed with a deathjump. Hutchison managed a late rally scoring a two count with the Olympic Roll Up before Thatcher trapped him in the Bow and Arrow to score an impressive submission victory.
4) Eddie Edwards & The Hobo defeated Davey Richards & Rhino: The unlikely team of “Die Hard” Eddie Edwards & The Hobo took on House of Truth members “American Wolf” Davey Richards & Rhino who were accompanied by their manager Truth Martini. Edwards involved himself in a match between The Hobo and Richards during IWA On The Mat (Card #1029), eating a Gore! from Rhino in the process, prompting this tag team grudge match to be set up. Richards did his best to avoid facing Edwards, his former tag team partner in the American Wolves, but when they did square off they tore the house down. Edwards nailed Richards with the superkick several times before he countered with the multiple suplex assault. Rhino tagged in and roughed up Edwards on the outside before blasting him with the Gore! The “Man Beast” went for the pin but The Hobo interfered dropping an elbow and reversing the positions allowing Edwards to score a two count. Edwards then made the tag and The Hobo caught a downed Rhino with the Hot Shot, a flying elbow from the top rope, followed by the Railroad Spike, a sit-out scoop slam piledriver, to score an upset pin. Richards tried for the save but was cut off by Edwards and Martini, clutching the Book of Truth, fell to his knees in agony. An upset Rhino stalked both Edwards and The Hobo post-match but they escaped from the ring to cheers from the crowd. Rhino shoved Richards teasing dissension but Martini was able to calm things down following an upsetting loss for the House of Truth.
5) Trent Barreta defeated Delirious by DQ: The popular Trent Barreta, a native of Long Island, NY, took on House of Truth member Delirious, a former IWA Heavyweight champion, in a key bout. Manager Truth Martini was back out at ringside accompanying “Red Poison” Delirious but looking none too happy after the loss by Davey Richards and Rhino. Barreta was on point early striking with moves like the top rope Frankensteiner and the flying forearm smash. He had Delirious in trouble several times but was unable to put him away. Delirious made a counter and hit the diving huracanrana before tossing Barreta out of the ring. Delirious followed him out and launched an aggressive attack that included him delivering a dose of Red Poison. That action led to the referee calling for the bell and Barreta won it by disqualification. Martini was furious over the call and ordered Delirious to continue his attack but Barreta was saved as IWA officials got in between the two.
6) All Night Express defeated Sami Callihan & Willie Mack: The popular combination of Sami Callihan & Willie Mack, who describe themselves as “Brothers from Different Mothers”, took on the undefeated All Night Express (Rhett Titus & Kenny King) who were accompanied by their manager Rock Riddle. Calli-Mack had a difficult time of it early as the All Night Express utilized quick tags and teamwork to control the action. They hit the One Night Stand, a power bomb and diving blockbuster and neckbreaker combo, on Callihan but Mack made the pin save in the nick of time. Mack got the tag and had the crowd cheering as he took the fight to both members of ANX. King attempted a corner charge but Mack was able to avoid it and roll him up for a quick two count. Riddle argued with the referee over that and nearly lost it when Mack followed up with a Samoan Drop on King for a big near fall. Callihan looked good on offense going into the home stretch but again ANX caught him with the One Night Stand with King scoring the pin as Titus prevented Mack from making the save. ANX remain unbeaten in the IWA much to the satisfaction of Riddle who was boasting about their record afterward.
7) Austin Aries, Chuck Taylor & Johnny Gargano defeated Rob Van Dam, Ricochet & Will Ospreay: A huge trios match saw the electrifying high flying team of Rob Van Dam, Ricochet and the “Aerial Assassin” Will Ospreay take on “A Double” Austin Aries, “The Kentucky Gentleman” Chuck Taylor and the “Whole Shebang” Johnny Gargano. The description of this match will not do it justice as all six men put in highlight reel performances throughout the match. Both Ricochet and Ospreay hit some incredible daredevil dives on the opposition resulting in big pos from the crowd. RVD hit the Five Star Frog Splash on Aries at one point but was slow in covering allowing the self proclaimed “Greatest Man who ever Lived” to kick out just before the count of three. Gargano excelled for his team twice locking on the Gargano Escape but each time it was broken up by the opposition. Taylor, a former IWA J-Crown champion, also performed well including nearly pinning Ricochet after he missed with the 620 Senton. The highly touted Ospreay out of Essex, England, would hit his trademark Essex Destroyer on Aries late in the match resulting in a big near fall. The finishing sequence saw Aries catch Ospreay with a neckbreaking clothesline out of the corner before nailing him with the Brainbuster to score the pin. The crowd applauded all six men post-match giving them a well deserved standing ovation along with chants of “that was awesome” ending what really was an incredible bout.
8) IWA tag team titles: Kings of Wrestling© defeated Osirian Portal to retain the titles: The continuing rivalry between the Osirian Portal (Amasis & Ophidian) and the Kings of Wrestling (Chris Hero & Claudio Castagnoli) over the IWA tag team titles was featured in the main event. The two teams have in one way or another been involved in all six tag team title changes in IWA history. The Portal were looking to regain the belts which they lost to the Kings of Wrestling during King of Trios weekend in Philadelphia, PA (Card #1010). Things went great for the Egyptian duo in the early part of the match as they delivered the Osirian Sacrament on Hero for a big near fall. Hero was busted open taking offensive attacks from the Portal and was nearly put away with the Death Grip but he managed to escape. Castagnoli tagged in and used the giant swing and European Uppercut to great effect and wound up busting Amasis open after a run into the guard rail. The Kings delivered the Royal Power and Glory on Amasis with Hero going for the pin but Amasis made the save. Hero later went to use the Loaded Rolling Elbow on Ophidian but he avoided it and trapped him in the Death Grip. Amasis tagged in and hit the Egyptian Conniption on Hero but Castagnoli made the save. A bloody Hero was in a bad way but he managed to hit a Cravate Buster on an equally bloody Amasis for a big near fall. That set up the finish as Castagnoli tagged in and nailed Amasis with the Ricola Bomb to score the pin. It was a successful version two title defense for the Kings of Wrestling who will now defend the titles against Dem Boys, Mark & Jay Briscoe, in Las Vegas, NV (Card #1039).

KoW looked great in that tag title defense, but I think their biggest challenge is on the way... In the form of the Briscoes... And then there's ANX who look to be gaining serious traction in the division...
The high energy performance of Rich Swann was lots of fun and he definitely deserves the shot he's being given at the J-Crown... Watching him face off with Matt Cross has the potential to be an extremely exciting encounter...
Things are growing even more intense between the former American Wolves... This rivalry has serious legs and I can't even guess what direction it will take from here...
Thoroughly enjoyed this edition of IWA action and I can't wait for the next All-Star Wrestling show to hear what Commissioner Cox has to say regarding Andre the Giant... Awesome stuff!

The six man did not disappoint and the main event was intense. Solid show from the opening to the main event. Using hobo to score the upset was fun but rhino is going to smoke him down the road. Will be curious to see what the commissioner has to say as the decision will undoubtedly have grave repercussions for all the parties involved if not the entire low roster.

LOW All-Star Wrestling (Episode 62) - WMC-TV5 Studios - Memphis, TN (Card #1031)
The broadcast opened up with LOW Commissioner Charlie Cox standing alongside announcers Lance Russell and Dave Brown. The three discussed the recent LOW World Heavyweight title matches between Andre the Giant and champion Johnny Valentine, both of which ended in disqualification wins for Andre. The first match, held at Madison Square Garden in New York, NY (Card #1016), saw Valentine disqualified when he used a chair that was introduced by Bobby “The Brain” Heenan, the manager of Andre. That led to a double stipulation rematch at The Forum in Montreal, Quebec, Canada (Card #1024) with Heenan suspended above the ring in a cage while Bill Alfonso, who was not under an official contract as a referee with LOW, served as the special referee. Alfonso was selected as the referee by Andre and Heenan. That match also ended with Valentine being disqualified when Bobo Brazil, clearly upset over the actions of Andre in the match, ran in and got involved leading to Alfonso calling for the bell. An irate Heenan subsequently decked Alfonso and a frustrated Andre finished off the controversial referee with a Big Splash.
Cox noted that Alfonso was hospitalized with several broken ribs and his status as far as ever returning to LOW as a referee is in question based on his prior track record. Russell asked what actions were possibly going to be taken based on the controversial outcomes, specifically of the second match in Montreal. Cox said that he had met with the LOW Board of Directors in New York, NY, and went over what course of action needed to be taken. He said that ultimately it was decided that even though Alfonso was not an officially licensed referee he was still an official assigned to the match and that the physical actions of both Heenan and Andre needed to be dealt with. Therefore Cox announced that he was officially suspending both Andre and Heenan for six weeks which drew cheers from the studio audience. He also said that a $10,000 fine had been levied against Brazil for getting involved in the match.
Russell commended Cox for taking action as assaulting an official, no matter what actions he may or may not be guilty of, should never be viewed as being acceptable. Cox agreed and said that as of now both Andre and Heenan would be eligible to return when the Capitol Wrestling Alliance appears at the Nassau Coliseum in Long Island, NY (Card #1045). As for the next card at MSG (Card #1035) it has been determined that Valentine will be defending the LOW World Heavyweight title against a very tough opponent in “Ravishing” Rick Rude. Russell said that should “be a dandy” and thanked Cox for getting everyone up to date on a very controversial situation. He then tossed it over to Brown to go over the lineup for the broadcast.
DB “Thanks Lance, and that was indeed huge news regarding the suspension of both Andre the Giant and Bobby Heenan and I understand our own Bill Apter, the esteemed editor of PWI, will have a pre-taped interview with both men next week on our program. As for today’s broadcast we will kick things off with a wild one as The Sheik and George “The Animal” Steele will square off so batten down the hatches for that one. Also in action will be the great tag team of The Fantastics (Bobby Fulton & Tommy Rogers), the “Million $ Man” Ted Dibiase and the duo of “The Magnificent” Don Muraco & The Grappler. Topping things off will be a title defense by LOW Tex-Arkana Television champion Roderick Strong who will face the winner of a special 6-Man Battle Royal. We will also have interviews with World of Sport star King Kong Bundy and CWA manager J.J. Dillon. With that let’s throw it over to our ring announcer Gary Michael Cappetta to get things underway.”
1) The Sheik defeated George Steele by Count Out: This match was as much about the managers as it was about the wrestlers as Abdullah Farouk led The Sheik into battle against George “The Animal” Steele who was accompanied by his manager Captain Lou Albano. Farouk and Albano have been involved in several arguments during recent tag team matches involving The Sheik and Steele and that led to this challenge match. To say that this match wasn’t pretty would be an understatement. Choke holds, eye rakes, biting and foreign objects were used by both men as they brawled in and out of the ring. Cameraman Gary Walter even got involved by hitting The Sheik with a chop while he was being held by Steele. It was not surprising to see Walter scurry off quickly afterward to get out of harms way. The Sheik used his Fireball on Steele but “The Animal” survived it thanks to timely interference by Albano. Steele survived a Camel Clutch and rallied back applying the Flying Hammerlock but Farouk got up on the ring apron. Steele then released the hold and decked Farouk knocking him to the floor. The action continued outside where The Sheik forced Lance Russell and Dave Brown to scramble out of the way as he tossed Steele over the announce table. Farouk, his jaw still hurting, urged The Sheik to return to the ring and he did barely getting the win by count out. LOW Officials had to run out and prevent a post-match brawl as a flustered Russell threw it to commercial break.
2) The Fantastics defeated Johnny Rodz & Mr. X: As Lance Russell and Dave Brown gathered up their papers and sat back down at the announce table The Fantastics (Bobby Fulton & Tommy Rogers) entered the studio to the sounds of Sharp Dressed Man by ZZ Top. Fulton stopped by the table briefly and said that he and Rogers took this match against “The Unpredictable” Johnny Rodz & Mr. X in order to stay in shape for their upcoming match with the Road Warriors (Animal & Hawk) for the LOW World tag team titles at Madison Square Garden in New York, NY (Card #1035). Brown noted that would indeed be a huge opportunity for the popular team but that they had better not overlook their opponents waiting for them in the ring. He had a point as Rodz, in particular, gave them a good battle most of the way. The Fantastics, however, got the upper hand on Mr. X connecting with a double sit-out hip toss before Fulton caught the masked man with the Fantastic Cradle to score the pin.
3) Ricky Landell vs. Ted Dibiase was a DDQ: The capable Ricky Landell out of St. Paul, MN, took on the “Million $ Man” Ted Dibiase who was accompanied by his bodyguard Virgil. Dibiase displayed his usual arrogance pre-match by attempting to offer Landell money, in this case five hundred dollars, to forfeit the match so that he wouldn’t have to break a sweat going through with his “inevitable victory”. Landell turned that down by dropkicking Virgil out of the ring sending the cash flying. As Virgil scrambled to recover it Dibiase pounced on Landell getting the match officially underway. It wasn’t long before Dibiase tossed Landell out of the ring and the two began trading blows while ignoring the referee. Landell wound up whipping Dibiase into Virgil and again the cash went flying as the referee called for the bell ordering a double disqualification. Dibiase was furious arguing with the official but really lost it as Landell, with Virgil still down, was able to procure some of the cash and ran around the studio handing it to audience members. Dibiase stormed over to the announce table calling Landell a “thief” and ordered Virgil to retrieve the money but it was too late. Dibiase exploded saying that he would be back next week on ASW and was putting $5,000 on the line if Landell is able to beat him in the ring.
● Interview – King Kong Bundy: PWI Editor Bill Apter conducted this pre-recorded interview with World of Sport star King Kong Bundy just outside of Royal Albert Hall in London, England. Apter thanked Bundy for the time and asked him how it feels to now be competing in World of Sport under the round rules system. Bundy said that it was going to take some getting used to but that he is ready for the challenge. Apter followed up talking about the WOS debut show (Card #1022 in Leeds, England) which saw Bundy team up with Johnny Saint to defeat the One Man Gang & Finlay. As some footage of that match aired Bundy said that being in the ring opposite OMG was an experience as it is hard to adjust to someone that has the same size. Apter noted that many fans referred to it as being reminiscent of the legendary battles between Big Daddy and Giant Haystacks in the old days of World of Sport which Bundy said was an honor. Apter also noted how the fans are likening him to Big Daddy and OMG to Haystacks so it is almost like a continuation of that legendary rivalry. Bundy was about to answer when a group of avid fans surrounded him chanting “Easy, Easy” which was the same chant Big Daddy heard as he vanquished another opponent. Bundy thanked them for the support and said that at the next WOS show in Kent, England (Card #1040) he is teaming with David Taylor and Zack Sabre Jr. to face OMG, Iron Sheik and “The Villain” Marty Scurll in the main event. Apter said that sounds like it will be a war and that he, like most fans, really can’t wait for him and OMG to battle it out one-on-one. Bundy said that day will come but for now he is concentrating on that match and said that the fans will be chanting “Easy, Easy” again as he takes out OMG and his teammates. Apter thanked Bundy again and said that World of Sport is quickly becoming one of the top territories under the LOW umbrella.
4) 6-Man Battle Royal for an LOW Tex-Arkana Television title shot: LOW Commissioner Charlie Cox returned to the studio to announce that he personally recruited the talent for this next match and that the winner will receive a shot at LOW Tex-Arkana Television champion Roderick Strong at the end of the broadcast. He said that he decided to have this special 6-Man Battle Royal in order to offset the actions of Strong and his manager Truth Martini on a recent edition of IWA On The Mat (Card #1029) where Martini pulled names out of a hat to challenge Strong until settling on one that he felt was deserving of the shot. Cox called it a disgrace to the championship rules adhered to by LOW and that he would never allow Martini to get away with that again. Martini stormed out screaming bloody murder but was quickly dragged off by LOW officials. Cox then revealed the six men selected to go for the title shot – Fred Yehi (IWA), Hacksaw Jim Duggan (CWA), Masked Superstar (PCW), Bob Roop (World of Sport), John Pesek (Golden Age Wrestling) and Timber (ASW). Lance Russell called it a pretty solid field and noted that both Duggan and Timber are former holders of the LOW Tex-Arkana Television title. Duggan wound up being very impressive in the match but ultimately was ousted by Pesek setting up the “Nebraska Tiger Man” as the title challenger.
Order of Elimination:
● Timber (by Fred Yehi) ● Bob Roop (by Hacksaw Jim Duggan) ● Masked Superstar (by John Pesek) ● Fred Yehi (by Hacksaw Jim Duggan) ● Hacksaw Jim Duggan (by John Pesek) W) John Pesek
5) Don Muraco & The Grappler defeated Heartbreak Express: The popular ASW team of the Heartbreak Express (Fabulous Phil Davis & Superstar Sean Davis) took on PCW stars “The Magnificent” Don Muraco & The Grappler who were accompanied to ringside by their manager Sir Oliver Humperdink. The early action was pretty competitive as Phil had a nice exchange with Muraco. It was The Grappler who turned things around for his team when he countered a backdrop attempt by Sean and hit him with a knee lift. He followed up with the controversial Loaded Boot but Phil broke up the pin. The damage had been done, however, and it was Muraco taking advantage of a stunned Sean. After hitting a wicked clothesline off the ropes he dropped Sean with a Neckbreaker to score the pin. Humperdink looked on pleased as his men put on an impressive performance in televised action.
● Interview – J.J. Dillon: Lance Russell introduced his next guest in manager J.J. Dillon of the Capitol Wrestling Alliance. He welcomed him to the show and the manager respectfully responded saying that it was an honor to be there. He asked Dillon how things are going for him and his men in the CWA and the manager responded that things couldn’t be going any better. He said that his controversial signing of the Missing Link, a throwback to Neanderthals, has come under some scrutiny but he said that he is the right man to guide someone like the Link. Russell asked him what that meant and Dillon responded that the Link needs a special kind of guidance and as long as he can be controlled he can be a very devastating weapon. Russell agreed with that point and then asked Dillon what the goals are for him and his men. Dillon said that championships are, of course, the number one priority and that in recent weeks he has sent both Ox Baker and Angelo “King Kong” Mosca after the LOW International Heavyweight title held by Rikidozan. Although neither man won the belt he took credit for the fact that Mosca inflicted an injury on Rikidozan. Russell balked at that and then out came Dan “The Beast” Severn who was watching in the back. Severn said that Dillon and his men like taking cheap shots and that the cheapest shot artist of them all was the biggest of them all in one Big John Studd. Dillon took exception to that and said that Severn was “lucky” to hold a victory over Studd. Sever said that he would beat Studd anytime they meet and that it was very easy for him to chop down the tall tree. Dillon laughed that off and stepped back as coming from behinds Severn was Studd himself who blasted him with a chair shot across the back. Severn went down like a shot as Studd and Dillon walked off admiring the damage they had inflicted on the former LOW World Heavyweight champion. Russell and several LOW Officials assisted Severn back to his feet and he angrily demanded a match with Studd.
6) LOW Tex-Arkana Television title: Roderick Strong© defeated John Pesek to retain the title: The television main event saw the “Nebraska Tiger Man” John Pesek of Golden Age Wrestling challenge Roderick Strong for the LOW Tex-Arkana Television title. It was brought up that these two have met before in Lansing, MI (Card #954) with Strong retaining the title so this was a chance for Pesek to avenge that defeat. Manager Truth Martini grabbed the mic and quoted from page 30 of The Book of Truth stating that “On this day of thirty a Tiger Man would be tamed”. LOW Commissioner Charlie Cox joined Lance Russell and Dave Brown at the announce table saying that he had just signed Dan Severn to face Big John Studd in one of the feature matches on the upcoming MSG card. The match, meanwhile, got underway with both men having a great exchange. Strong pounced on Pesek after a counter running lariat out of the corner and hit the End of Heartache for a big near fall. Martini complained to the referee about a slow count and did some more complaining as Pesek mounted an impressive comeback. He tied up Strong with holds like the lateral press keylock and body triangle and crossface. That led to him executing the double bar hammerlock for a submission chance. Strong managed to mount a comeback of his own, however, and stunned Pesek with a rolling elbow and an Olympic Slam. He then lifted him up into the Argentine Backbreaker and there was no escape as Pesek tapped out. Strong dropped to his knees releasing the hold as his submission victory meant that he had survived an incredible thirty successful title defenses as the LOW Tex-Arkana Television champion. Martini raced around ringside holding up the title belt before giving it to Strong continuing the celebration as the broadcast came to an end.

What an unbelievable run by Roddy Strong... Thirty title defenses and still going... Wow!
My favorite match was probably the one that opened the show... Two of the most uncontrollable men ever to step inside the ring... The Sheik came out on top this time, but things could have easily gone a different way...
The interview segments on All-Star Wrestling are always so well crafted and really do a great job of hyping future events... The upcoming World of Sport six-man main event should be a real treat... Interested to see if OMG, Iron Sheik and the Villain function as a cohesive unit...
Looks like Commissioner Cox has things well in hand involving the recent Andre the Giant title match debacle... Even though Andre has been suspended, there is no doubt that Heenan will be clamoring for another title shot as soon as he is reinstated... The Eighth Wonder of the World remains a very real threat to anyone holding the LOW World Heavyweight Championship...
An excellent offering, from start to finish, my friend... Nice work!

Now that is 30 strong victories for Roderick Strong (sorry, I had to) and it's cool he retained. I thought for sure Pesek would've won after winning that Battle Royal, but I'm amp'd that Strong keeps on going. I like that Don Muraco and the Grappler won their match. Congrats on Strong keeping your Tex-Arkana Television Title for such a long reign...
