A truly big night for the Bullet Club... Even with Adam Cole's missed opportunity to become the LOW International Heavyweight champion, they showed the world that they are a true force in the wrestling world... That being said, Inoki showed tons of guts standing up to Styles and his crew... Very interested to see who he chooses to fill out his five-man team... I'm betting that will see Harley Race demand to be a part of it...
Always a fun ride, my friend... No matter where you take us... Looking forward to the next installment of LOW action!

I love that Paul Pope won, but man what would've happen for you Crue if either Pope or Forve booted one another? I liked that victory by Styles by count out, plus it's always good seeing Brent Albright in action and getting the win for his team...

Stellar work. The conclusion of that show was great. The set up of the elimination match was well done. Inoki will need to dig deep to fill out his team if he wants to stop the Bullet Club.

I can only hope that when I start my own fed that it's half as good as this one has been over the last couple years that I've been lurking!
Good stuff even if I despise the Bullet Club (even though I think that I'm SUPPOSED TO despise them after all).

Thanks for the comments Pariah, Crimson, Bookerbill, Troy and Seahawksfan. That was a really fun card with some interesting results and getting snake eyes finishes in Race vs. Omega and Inoki vs. Styles set up some crazy incidents. That finish in the main event gave me the idea to have Inoki try to put together a team to take out the Bullet Club. Styles getting the world title shot was not what I anticipated happening but it is going to be very cool to see what happens at the Seibu Dome. As for Power Surge, Crimson, they actually helped each other out a few times in that match and I think if it came down to them facing each other at the end I would have let them go at it in order to have a clear cut winner.
Glad I could inspire you Troy and look forward to you running a legends fed again and Seahawksfan just go for it I;m sure you will have a lot of fun. I have been rolling the dice since the first legends set was released and have no plans to stop anytime soon. Next up will be the return to Madison Square Garden with Johnny Valentine defending the LOW World Heavyweight title against Rick Rude plus The Fantastics challenging the Road Warriors for the LOW World tag team titles.

A personal highlight of your Sumo Hall show was Larry Sharpe entering the Battle Royal and outlasting Giant Bernard and Tommaso Ciampa among others. I just know Sharpe could feel the ÂŁ30k prize almost within his grasp... and it was pretty upsetting to see it cruelly whipped away from him by William Forve.
It was fun to see the Young Bucks up to some characteristic dastardly tricks, and of course Koko B. Ware doing what he does best...

Thanks for the comments Kat Rana. Larry Sharpe performed pretty well and had he won the Battle Royal I wonder if he would have invested that cash back into Fist Pump Wrestling? After all he and Mr. X do owe the company something for nearly tanking it Next up is a big night of action from the mecca of professional wrestling - Madison Square Garden - I hope you enjoy it...LOW Capitol Wrestling Alliance - Madison Square Garden - New York, NY (Card #1035)1) Killer Bees defeated Backseat Boys: The opening bout saw the Killer Bees (Brian Blair & Jim Brunzell) taking on the LOW All-Star Wrestling team of the Backseat Boys (Trent Acid & Johnny Kashmere). This was a great battle as both teams looked on point including executing some nice double-team attacks. The Backseat Boys scored near falls on Brunzell with Acid hitting the Acid Bomb and Kashmere hitting the Cradle Breaker. Blair made the save on the former which came after the referee foiled the Bees attempt to don masks utilizing their Masked Confusion tactic. Brunzell struck back nailing Kashmere with the Killer Dropkick but Acid made a timely save. The finish saw Brunzell collide with Kashmere on a double clothesline out of the corner. Brunzell recovered first and came off of the top rope with a Flying Bodypress on Kashmere to score the pin as Blair prevented Acid from making the save. 2) Missing Link defeated Pampero Firpo: A real battle of wild men saw Pampero Firpo, the “Wild Bull of the Pampas”, take on the strange Missing Link who was accompanied to the ring by his manager J.J. Dillon. Firpo was on the offensive early and often catching the Link with a knee lift scoring a two count and also trapping him in a bearhug. After a battle on the floor it was Firpo trapping the Link in the El Garfio, his version of the punishing claw hold, going for the submission. Dillon jumped up on the ring apron to break it up and as he result the manager was ejected from ringside by the referee drawing cheers from the crowd. With Dillon gone it looked like the Link could be in big trouble but he actually wound up reversing the momentum. After a headbutt strike via a deathjump he nailed Firpo with a wild chair shot that came out of view of the referee. That led to the Link nailing Firpo with the Back Flying Headbutt to score the pin. The loss marked the first one for Firpo since joining LOW. 3) Ivan Koloff, Mad Dog Vachon & Butcher Vachon defeated Jerry Lynn, 2 Cold Scorpio & Tracy Smothers: Former LOW Junior Heavyweight champion Jerry Lynn joined forces with 2 Cold Scorpio and the “Wild Eyed Southern Boy” Tracy Smothers to take on the Captain Lou Albano led team of the “Russian Bear” Ivan Koloff, Mad Dog Vachon and Butcher Vachon in trios action. Albano instructed his men to get the early advantage and they jumped the opposition during the ring introductions by Gary Michael Cappetta. That proved to be a smart move as they dominated most of the early action by getting the heat on Lynn. Koloff delivered the falling face slam for a two count and Mad Dog followed up with key moves like the double foot stomp and the Mad Dog Pounce. Lynn finally struck back and nearly pinned Koloff with the small package rollup getting a pop from the crowd. Scorpio and Smothers took turns tagging in and managed to reverse the momentum prompting Albano to pace nervously up and down the ring stairs. It was a nice comeback for the fan favorites but ultimately they lost the bout when Butcher Vachon caught Smothers in the Hangman winning the match via submission. 4) Ring Angels title: Ida Mae Martinez© defeated Judy Martin to retain the title: Newly crowned Ring Angels champion Ida Mae Martinez had a tough version one title defense against Judy Martin, one-half of the Glamour Girls along with Leilani Kai. Martin took a page out of the Albano playbook as she jumped Martinez as she was greeting fans at ringside. She ran Martinez hard into the ring post and tossed her into the ring getting the title match off to a wild start. Martin was very aggressive early pounding away at Martinez both in and out of the ring. She scored a two count with a face first suplex before Martinez struck back hitting a cross body block and applying a Texas Cloverleaf which was broken up in the ropes. Martinez returned the favor by taking it out to the floor and running Martin into both the guard rail and the press table. The heated bout ended when Martin went for a backdrop but Martinez countered and, after a forearm to the head, she executing a Flying Head Scissors while cradling the legs of Martin to score the pin and retain the title. 5) Kevin Sullivan defeated Hacksaw Jim Duggan: The popular Hacksaw Jim Duggan hit the ring to take on the maniacal Kevin Sullivan who was joined at ringside by the equally strange Lord Zoltan. Sullivan, his face painted black with a red X inscribed on his forehead, held a python snake in his arms before the referee ordered him to hand it off to Zoltan. Sullivan threatened the referee with the snake prompting Duggan to close in wielding his 2x4. Zoltan eventually took the snake and left ringside under orders from the referee allowing the match to officially get underway. As one legendary announcer might say this one was “bowling shoe ugly”. Both men traded blows in and out of the ring and most times ignored the referee who allowed the bout to continue. Sullivan scored a two count with a clothesline and knocked Duggan out of the ring with a running forearm. Duggan recovered quickly and took control outside before nailing Sullivan with a Tough Guy clothesline. He had Sullivan reeling until another battle outside where the tables were turned. Sullivan choked out Duggan with a camera cable before tossing him back in hitting the Tree of Woe in the corner. Duggan collapsed to the mat and Sullivan followed up hitting the Double Foot Stomp to score the pin. The crowd jeered the decision as Sullivan dropped to his knees and seemed to go into a trance like state uttering incoherently. Lord Zoltan returned and joined Sullivan in some “devil worship” type ceremony before Duggan grabbed his 2x4 and chased them out of the ring drawing cheers from the crowd. 6) Midnight Rockers defeated Steve Williams & Terry Gordy: The Midnight Rockers (Stan Lane & Marty Jannetty) went up against the Miracle Violence Connection (Steve “Dr. Death” Williams & Terry “Bamm Bamm” Gordy) in a highly anticipated showdown. The MVC went into the match looking for some revenge after being on the losing end opposite the Rockers in a recent eight-man tag team match. The early action saw both teams with some nice exchanges which included Gordy scoring two counts on both of the Rockers with counter roll-ups out of the corner. A great spot saw Williams going for an elbowdrop but Jannetty rolled out of the way and hit a quick DDT for a near fall. He and Lane then combined on the Rocket Launcher on Williams but Gordy made the save. Gordy was a beast on offense for the MVC including blasting Lane with a running lariat for a near fall. That set up “Dr. Death” hitting the devastating Backdrop Driver on Lane and things were looking good for the MVC. That was until Lane countered a backdrop by Williams and hit the Midnight Lariat for a two count. The Rockers then turned it on and set up Williams for another Rocket Launcher with Jannetty covering him to score the pin as Lane cut off a save attempt by Gordy. The crowd cheered the victory by the Rockers as a disgusted Gordy kicked the bottom rope. Williams recovered and had some words with Gordy before the two jumped the victorious Rockers laying them out leading to LOW officials hitting the ring to prevent any further action. 7) Ted Dibiase defeated Bobo Brazil: A battle of former LOW World Heavyweight champions saw popular Benton Harbor, MI, native Bobo Brazil take on the “Million $ Man” Ted Dibiase who was joined by his bodyguard Virgil. Prior to the ring introductions by Gary Michael Cappetta he was accosted by Virgil who attempted to bribe him with $500 in cash in order to declare Dibiase the winner by forfeit. Brazil had yet to make his entrance but when he did the crowd erupted in cheers and Cappetta proudly introduced him much to the dismay of Dibiase and Virgil. Brazil dominated the early action running Dibiase from pillar to post including laying him out with the big hammer punch. Dibiase came back into it impressively and used the Million Dollar Sleeper several times but was unable to put Brazil away. That would become a theme of the match as Brazil, after being busted open, was again trapped in the Million Dollar Sleeper but he refused to tap out. Dibiase grew increasingly frustrated as Brazil resisted his attacks and battled back scoring a two count after a Coco Butt. Dibiase struck back and applied the figure four leglock but again Brazil refused to tap out and managed to get out of it with a reversal into the ropes for a break. They wound up battling outside where Dibiase, with Virgil distracting the referee, ran the bloody Brazil head first into the ring post. Brazil was out of it at that point and Dibiase rolled him back inside and applied the Figure Four Leglock again. The referee checked for a response but got none from Brazil and so he called for the bell giving Dibiase the victory via submission. It was a huge albeit controversial win for Dibiase over Brazil who showed that he would not go down in defeat easily. 8) Dan Severn defeated Big John Studd: A big grudge match saw Dan “The Beast” Severn take on Big John Studd who was accompanied by his manager J.J. Dillon. After Severn, who is a former LOW World Heavyweight champion, scored wins over Studd in both singles and tag team competition it fueled anger in the giant from Los Angeles, CA. He even launched a sneak attack on Severn on a recent edition of LOW All-Star Wrestling and laid him out with a vicious chair shot. Severn carried that pain into the match and was looking to get a revenge win over Studd. The action was intense right from the opening bell in what ended up being a fairly quick bout. After both men went down on a double clothesline it was Severn recovering first and hitting an impressive fireman’s carry slam. Studd was caught off guard by that and Severn seized the opportunity to trap him in the Wakigatame resulting in a snake eyes submission victory. Severn barely had time to celebrate his big win when Dillon hit him in the back of the head with his shoe. Studd recovered as Dillon waved to the back bringing out another of his charges, the feared Heart Punch master Ox Baker, and that led to a double-team attack on Severn. Things were looking bad for Severn until Magnum T.A., who was on hand for a standby match if needed, ran in with a chair clearing the ring. It was later learned that Severn and Magnum will join forces to face Studd and Baker on the next edition of LOW All-Star Wrestling (Card #1041). 9) LOW World tag team titles: Road Warriors© defeated The Fantastics to retain the titles: The LOW World tag team titles were on the line as The Fantastics (Bobby Fulton & Tommy Rogers) challenged the Road Warriors (Animal & Hawk, with manager Paul Ellering) for the belts. The Road Warriors were looking to make history with a successful title defense while The Fantastics were hoping to strike gold in their first ever shot at the titles. Fulton and Rogers gave up a lot of size and strength but could use their speed and teamwork to counter that. Unfortunately it was Fulton taking a beating early as the Road Warriors laid him out with a spike piledriver. A double clothesline led to Animal covering Fulton for a near fall. Fulton managed a comeback on the outside after striking Animal with a chair shot to the back while the referee was distracted. Rogers took over inside catching Animal with a nice crucifix rollup and locking on a sleeper hold. Animal fought out of that and nailed Rogers with the Powerslam resulting in a big near fall. Hawk tagged in and roughed up Rogers with a running clothesline resulting in a two count. The Fantastics were in trouble now and never had a chance to kick it back into gear. The finish saw Fulton make a pin save but as the referee ordered him out it was Animal catching Rogers with another Powerslam. Hawk then ran over and decked Fulton as the referee turned around and made the three count. History was made as their Road Warriors broke their own record of fifteen successful title defenses by making number sixteen overcoming the spirited challenge of The Fantastics. 10) LOW World Heavyweight title: Johnny Valentine© defeated Rick Rude to retain the title: The main event saw Johnny Valentine put the LOW World Heavyweight title on the line against the challenge of “Ravishing” Rick Rude. The arrogant Rude, who is a former two-time LOW International Heavyweight champion, obtained the title shot after LOW Commissioner Charlie Cox announced the six week suspension of Andre the Giant and his manager Bobby “The Brain” Heenan. As referee Morgan Dollar issued his pre-match instructions a confident Rude flexed his muscles and flicked off some sweat at Valentine who just coldly stared at his challenger. Rude looked great in the early going as he punished Valentine with a camel clutch and knocked him out of the ring with a top rope sledgehammer. Valentine fought back and stunned Rude with the Atomic Skullcrusher, the first of several he would land in the match, but only got a two count. He also used the sleeper hold on Rude who bailed out of the ring. The action went to the floor several times and got very heated including Rude being busted open after having his head run into the guard rail. Rude fought through that and hit a piledriver and swinging neckbreaker resulting in a big near fall. Valentine also wound up being busted open courtesy of a piledriver on the outside of the ring. The blood was impairing both men but they continued fighting and Rude showed great resilience kicking out of a pin after another devastating Atomic Skullcrusher. Rude would then deliver his finisher, the Rude Awakening, but somehow Valentine raised his right shoulder just before the three count. Rude angrily questioned Dollar on his count but the match continued. Both men were almost out of it when Valentine nailed Rude with a Big Chop to the Chest and then quickly caught him with a cradle hold to score the pin. The crowd erupted in cheers as Valentine made a successful version six defense of the title fending off a strong challenge from Rude in what was an exhausting double juice battle.

I really wanted Rick Rude to capture gold, but even his strong showing we saw Rude fail. Too bad a former 2x Int. Champ didn't win the World strap, plus the Road Warriors retaining is all good and I really liked Missing Link winning...
