My apologies for not commenting sooner, my friend... I've been unplugged for a bit - Just taking a small break... But, when I dropped into the site to make my picks for the next WWE PPV, you KNOW what caught my eye right away... Your new avatar! I literally cheered out loud (getting weird looks from my wife and daughter in the process)... This will easily go down as the most memorable moment in LOW history for me... Here's going that AJ has a long and healthy reign at the top... Absolutely... PHENOMENAL!I have to admit that I was a little worried that you passed out upon reading the news of AJ Styles beating Andre the Giant for the world title. I was thinking maybe I should call 911 to make sure that you were ok Your prediction came true, my friend, and it was a prediction that even I was having a hard time agreeing with because Andre has been such a force in my fed. When the snake eyes were rolled the funniest thing of all is that I immediately thought that I know Pariah is going to be very pleased with this outcome. You stood by your pick and I give you full credit for that as Styles came through in dramatic fashion. I'm happy that both you and Styles get to celebrate an epic victory for the LOW World Heavyweight title. Thanks as always for the support and the feedback, it is greatly appreciated. Thanks also to TTX for your comments on what truly was a monumental victory for AJ Styles.

Well, Andre loses?! I must say, I am shocked and a little saddened that The Giant has fallen! I really hope he gets a rematch, and a fair one at that! Congratulations to AJ Styles. I do fear there will be a lot of names out there gunning for him.

Thanks for the comments Bookerbill and Joebreakdown. I think it might be safe to call that the biggest upset in the history of my fed. I am still shocked when I think about it as I felt that Andre was going to be nearly unbeatable as champion. It is for that reason that I am hesitant to give him a rematch, especially right away, as he could regain it and take the shine off of that victory for AJ Styles. I have some decisions to make for sure but first up for AJ will be Bobo Brazil so we will see how he fares in that bout.

The build up to AJ Styles title win could not have gone any better in my opinion. He got some landmark wins, overcame the adversity with Bullet Club, and beat the unbeatable. What a great story! The dice gods have been kind. Now let's hope they don't let him lose his first title defense.

Styles really broke through some big barriers to get to the world title, and the dice gods were indeed kind. I would be lying if I said I am not worried about that first title defense

5) KRU Real World Tag League - B Block: Da Hit Squad (Monsta Mack & Dan Maff) defeated Johnny Saint & Zack Sabre Jr. (Maff pinned Saint – Backpack Stunner)
6) “The Magnificent” Don Muraco (with Jimmy Hart) defeated Brad Armstrong (Pinfall – Hawaiian Hammer)
7) No DQ Match: Jimmy “Superfly” Snuka & “Mr. USA” Tony Atlas defeated “Rowdy” Roddy Piper & “Ace” Cowboy Bob Orton (Snuka pinned Piper – Superfly Leap)
8) LOW International Heavyweight title: Dutch Savage defeated The Sheik© (with Abdullah Farouk) by DQ
Match Highlights: The popular Dutch Savage, a native of Scranton, PA, had high hopes of winning the LOW International Heavyweight title from The Sheik but it was not to be. Savage fought The Sheik tooth and nail throughout a hotly contested main event which ultimately ended up outside the ring. With his manager Abdullah Farouk looking on, The Sheik resorted to his usual brutal tactics including using a metal pipe to choke him out. The referee tried to get them back into the ring but The Sheik grabbed him and tossed the official over the guard rail resulting in a disqualification decision. Savage battled back post-match and busted The Sheik open after a series of punchers to the head. Farouk grabbed the title belt and headed to the back followed by a bloody Sheik as Savage dared the champion to return. Savage met with local reporters after the match and said he was not surprised that The Sheik would retain his title in that fashion but vowed to make things right if they meet again for the title.
Jimmy “Superfly” Snuka gained some revenge on “Rowdy” Roddy Piper in the semi-final bout as he teamed with Tony Atlas to defeat Piper and Cowboy Bob Orton in a No DQ Match. Piper defeated Snuka in controversial fashion when they last met in singles action setting up this tag battle. Snuka hunted Piper from the opening bell and got in some great offense against him, including hitting the Superfly for a big near fall. Snuka and Atlas neutralized Orton most of the way putting Piper in a bad spot. Atlas hit the Press Slam & Splash on Piper late but he managed to get his foot over the bottom rope to break up the pin. Moments later, however, Snuka tagged in and hit the Superfly again to score the pin on his arch-rival.
Two hated factions in PCW, the First Family run by Jimmy Hart and Sherri Sports Agency, Inc. run by Sherri Martel, once again drew the ire of the fans through their actions. First Family member Don Muraco used the megaphone supplied by Hart to knock out Brad Armstrong before hitting the Hawaiian Hammer to pin him. With his father Bob Armstrong having already been injured by the First Family, Brad had to regroup quickly after the loss and bail out of the ring as the Masked Superstar, The Warlord and Rhino joined Muraco hoping to unleash a gang attack. Tugboat Taylor was not so lucky with SSA, Inc. as he teamed with his son, Chaz Taylor, and Pepper Gomez to take on Playboy Buddy Rose, Dr. Tom Prichard and The Mountie. It was a great bout that featured several near falls including Rose going for a pin on Tugboat after he was hit in the head with a shoe by Martel. The finish saw The Mountie disqualified when he used the Shock Stick on Tugboat. It didn’t end there, though, as The Mountie repeatedly zapped him with the weapon after the match as Rose and Prichard neutralized Chaz and Gomez. Tugboat was injured for the second time by SSA, Inc., having been out with a neck injury last year, and as a result Chaz and Gomez will face Rose and The Mountie in a big grudge match in San Diego, CA (Card #1125).
KRU Real World Tag League action continued and an incredible A Block bout saw The Fantastics defeat The Sheepherders. The two teams renewed their legendary rivalry from their pre-LOW days and had the crowd going wild. A great finish saw Tommy Rogers avoid the Running Knee Smash by The Sheepherders and nail Luke Williams with a series of dropkicks and a powerslam for the pin as Bobby Fulton fended off Butch Miller. The win tied them with Giant Baba & The Destroyer for the points lead in the A Block. Da Hit Squad picked up their first points in the B Block beating Johnny Saint & Zack Sabre Jr. who are winless thus far in the tournament. Saint and Sabre Jr. showed off their great technique but it was not enough to combat the extreme style offense of Da Hit Squad in the end.
Injury Report: * Tugboat Taylor was injured by repeated Shock Stick attacks from The Mountie following the six-man tag bout which ended in a snake eyes disqualification call by the referee. Taylor will be out of action for several weeks because of the attack.

I've got to say Da Hit Squad winning over Johnny Saint & Zach Sabre Jr. is a big one, but then your using the elder Saint card? Man, Dutch Savage wins, but not the gold from the Sheik. Its good that Don Muraco won even with a little help from the megaphone, now if he can keep that winning going and get a future title shot...

Classic booking in the main event event leaving the fans was wanting more as Sheik leaves town with his title. Great semi main with Superfly hitting his leap to finish off his nemesis.

As stated by our friend, bookerbill - That main event was off the chain... If Dutch gets a title rematch against Sheik, perhaps he should lobby for a Coal Miners Glove match... That would be brutal! Also cool that the Mountie was able to teach Tugboat some manners at the conclusion of that six-man bout... Here's hoping Chaz gets a taste of the Shock Stick during the upcoming tag contest... Lots of fun, as always!
