Thanks. I'm trying really hard to emulate the feel of Mid-Atlantic and the World Championship Wrestling shows from 1985 and 1986. Iron Sheik as the Mid-Atlantic Heavyweight Champion. Who would've thought.

Mid-Atlantic Championship Wrestling #5: 01/16/2010

Mid-Atlantic Champion Iron Sheik is out for an interview. He has proven that Iran is No. 1 and that most importantly the Iron Sheik is No. 1. Harley Race thought himself a world class wrestler but he learned the hard way that the Iron Sheik is the man in the world of wrestling. He's beaten Bobo Brazil, Brad Armstrong and now Harley Race. The Iron Sheik issues an open challenge to anyone in the United States to face Iran's No. 1 champion.
Bob Orton Jr. pins Tony Charles with a second rope powerslam Orton caught Charles with an eye gouge and then slapped on a sleeper. Orton lifted Charles onto the top rope and then hit a second rope powerslam and then got the pin for the victory.
Jim Crockett is out with the NWA World Television Title belt. Tonight Pepper Gomez will face the One Man Gang for the belt. The Championship Committee declared them to be the top two contenders for the new belt. He wishes both competitors luck tonight.
Masked Superstars d. Jim and Mac Jeffers when Superstar II submits Mac with the BACKBREAKER Superstar II caught Mac Jeffers with a throat drop on the ropes and then lifted him into the Backbreaker to earn the submission victory.
NWA World Tag Team Champions New Age Outlaws are out for an interview. Road Dogg warns Ivan Koloff and Ray Stevens that this isn't over yet. The Outlaws are going to go to the Championship Committee and demand that their next title match be inside the confines of a steel cage. This time the rules won't get in their way.
Hillbilly Jim and Cousin Luke d. Gene Ligon and Duane Gill when Jim submits Ligon with the BEAR HUG Jim caught Ligon with a big boot to the face and then slapped on the Bear Hug to earn the submission victory.
Hillbilly Jim and Cousin Luke stop by the announce table for an interview. Hillbilly Jim thinks it's time the good old country boys get a rematch with the Midnight Express.
Magnum TA pins Gerald Finley with the BELLY TO BELLY SUPLEX TA caught Ginley with a running forearm and then the Belly to Belly Suplex to get the win.
Harley Race is out for an interview. The Iron Sheik was the better man at Clash of the Champions. But that's not going to be the end of it. Harley Race wants to exercise his automatic rematch clause to get a rematch with the Iron Sheik.
Main Event: NWA World Television Title Match: One Man Gang pins Pepper Gomez with the 747 SPLASH OMG hit Gomez with a big scoop slam. OMG tossed Gomez out of the ring and smashed Gomez into the announce table and then the ring post. Back in the ring and OMG hit the 747 Splash to get the win and to win the title.
One Man Gang celebrates with Sir. Oliver Humperdink and the NWA World Television Title belt as the show fades to black.

Mid-Atlantic Championship Wrestling #6: 01/23/2010

King Kong Bundy is at the announcers table to start the show. Bundy talks about how he's ready to make a real impact in Mid-Atlantic Championship Wrestling. He issues a challenge to NWA United States Champion Magnum TA. He wants a shot at the title and he's going to beat TA with a 5 count pinfall.
the Armstrongs d. Doug Vines and Mike Simone when Bob pins Simone with a knee lift Bob caught Simone with a fireman's carry and then a knee lift to earn a quick victory to open up this episode of Mid-Atlantic Championship Wrestling.
Ivan Koloff and Ray Stevens are out for an interview. Stevens points out that they've bested the New Age Outlaws at every turn so far. They'll get a rematch really soon and now all that's left is for them to capture the NWA World Tag Team Titles. Koloff wants to prove how much stronger they are as a tag team. He was delighted to hear that the New Age Outlaws want to put the titles on the line inside of a steel cage. Koloff promises that there will be blood and gore in this match.
Greg Valentine pins Snake Brown with a falling elbow hammer Valentine brutalized Brown with a series of vicious chops. Valentine used a scoop slam to put Brown on the mat and then finished him off with a falling elbow hammer.
Angelo Mosca is backstage with Bob Caudle for an interview. Mosca refers to himself as the toughest man in the United States of America. He announces that starting next week he's going to start holding the Mosca Tough Man Challenge. He's going to explain the rules of his contest next week.
Iron Sheik submits Ken Lightfoot with the CAMEL CLUTCH The Iron Sheik punished Lightfoot with a throat chop and then took advantage with a sidewinder suplex. Sheik busted Lightfoot open when he kicked him with his loaded boot. Sheik tempted the DQ fates by repeatedly choking Lightfoot on the ropes and breaking right before the 5 count. Sheik applied an abdominal stretch and then locked on the Camel Clutch to earn the victory via submission. This was an impressive showing from the Mid-Atlantic Heavyweight Champion.
Harley Race rolls into the ring. He and the Iron Sheik have a staredown in the middle of the ring as the crowd goes crazy. The Iron Sheik raises the Mid-Atlantic Heavyweight Championship belt to taunt Race with. Race responds by blasting Sheik in the face with a right hand. Sheik tries to get back to his feet but Race catches him with another big right. Race grabs Sheik and hits a big vertical suplex. Race climbs to the top rope and hits the diving headbutt. Race grabs the belt and leaves it on the fallen Iron Sheik.
Johnny Valentine pins Joshua Stroud with the ATOMIC SKULLCRUSHER Valentine pounded on the big Stroud with forearm bludgeons and hammers. Valentine finally cut the big man down with some big chops to the chest. Valentine hit the Atomic Skullcrusher but Stroud managed to get a shoulder up. Valentine hit a second Atomic Skullcrusher and got the victory. NWA World Television Champion One Man Gang and Sir. Oliver Humperdink are out for an interview. Humperdink is proud to introduce his very first champion the One Man Gang. Humperdink has the booth replay parts of last week's match. He talks about how much stronger the OMG was and how he just dominated Pepper Gomez. He lists the injuries that Gomez suffered during their match. Humperdink calls OMG the prototype for the perfect pro wrestler. He doesn't think anyone can beat the OMG. OMG chimes in. He feels it is an honor to be the first ever World Television Champion. It's a nice start to his goals in wrestling. He wants to win all of the belts sooner or later.
Main Event: NWA United States Tag Team Title Match: Killer Bees (c) d. the Valiants when Blair pins Johnny with an airplane spin Blair landed on his feet after a back body drop attempt. Blair managed to take down Johnny and applied a Boston Crab. Johnny managed to get to the ropes. Blair picked him up and used the airplane spin to great effect. Blair covered and got the three count. The Killer Bees retain the belts in a surprisingly quick main event.
Jimmy Valiant hits the ring. He punishes Blair with a series of big fists to the face. Jimmy sends Blair into the ropes and catches him with an elbow. Brunzell rolls into the ring but gets met with boots from both Valiants. Captain Lou Albano raises the hands of Jimmy and Johnny Valiant as the show fades to black.

Mid-Atlantic Championship Wrestling #7: 01/30/2010

Ivan Koloff and Ray Stevens are out for an interview. Ray Stevens is going to give S.D. Jones a wrestling lesson tonight. He says that this is Mid-Atlantic Championship Wrestling where the biggest stars in wrestling come to compete. It's not a place for marginal talents like S.D. Jones. He hopes that the New Age Outlaws are watching tonight. They'll get a preview of what's in store for them. Koloff chimes in. He's eager to get to the rematch with the NAO. He wants to show everyone that Russia is the superpower of the wrestling world.
Bob Roop pins Mike Jackson with a spinning neckbreaker Roop beat on Jackson with forearm smashes and then caught him with a jumping knee smash. Roop sent Jackson into the ropes but Jackson rolled him up with a sunset flip. Jackson caught Roop with an arm drag and then a dropkick. Jackson sent Roop into the turnbuckle but then charged right into a boot. Roop used the gut wrench backbreaker and then a spinning neckbreaker to pick up a win in his Mid-Atlantic debut.
NWA United States Tag Team Champions the Killer Bees are out for an interview. Blair says that the Valiants really did them dirty last week. He says that the Valiants should maybe focus more on winning the actual match than attacking people afterwards. Brunzell says that the Bees are more than willing to put the belts up against the Valiants in a rematch. He wants them to name a time and a place. The result isn't going to change though. They'll be keeping the belts for quite awhile.
The Mongols d. Stoney Burke and Lee Ramsey when Bepo pins Burke with the MONGOLIAN DROP The Mongols charged into the ring and carnage followed. Bepo hit Burke with a running stomp and Geeto followed up with a lunging double throat chop. They used the Mongolian Drop to finish the match off. The Mongols look like absolute terrors in the ring.
Bob Caudle catches up with Captain Lou Albano backstage. Albano hopes that the Mid-Atlantic fans like his newest tag team of the Mongols. He calls them a couple of brainless savages that only know how to destroy people inside of the ring. Paired up with the Valiants, he has an invincible tag team stable.
Angelo Mosca comes down to the ring. He announces the Mosca Challenge. This challenge will be him challenging anyone to break a full nelson that he'll lock in. They will have exactly 60 seconds to try and break the hold. Next week he'll take his first challenger.
Magnum TA pins Frankie Williams with the BELLY TO BELLY SUPLEX TA hit Williams with an atomic drop and then finished him off with the Belly to Belly Suplex. A really quick win for Magnum TA.
NWA United States Champion Magnum TA stops by the announce table. He tells King Kong Bundy to bring it if he thinks he has what it takes. Bundy is a big man but TA thinks that he can still give him the Belly to Belly Suplex.
Midnight Express d. Jake Milleman and Paul Garner when Condrey pins Milleman with the FACE FIRST LEG SWEEP Condrey and Eaton caught Milleman with a suplex onto partner's knee and then followed it up with an elbow slingshot. Eaton used the Divorce Court. Condrey tagged in and sent Milleman into the ropes. Cornette tripped him up and Condrey finished him off with the Face First Leg Sweep.
Mid-Atlantic Tag Team Champions Midnight Express and Jim Cornette stop by the announce table. Cornette calls Hillbilly Jim and Cousin Luke a couple of dumb hillbillies. He talks about how popular Condrey and Eaton have been with the ladies since they started wearing their championship belts around town. Cornette visibly shudders when he talks about Jim and Luke trying to mount the belts in the back of their pick up trucks.
Main Event: S.D. Jones pins Ray Stevens with the HEADBUTT Stevens dodges a leg drop and hit a neckbreaker on Jones. Stevens sent Jones into the ropes but Jones caught him with a shoulder tackle. Jones caught Stevens with a power body slam. Jones and Stevens fought over a suplex on the top rope which Jones finally won. Jones caught Stevens with the Headbutt and got the pinfall to the surprise of the crowd.
Ivan Koloff comes out and nails Jones with his chain. Koloff and Stevens put the boots to Jones as Koloff chokes him with his chain. The beatdown continues until the New Age Outlaws run out and chase Koloff and Stevens to the backstage area. The New Age Outlaws check on S.D. Jones as the show fades to black.

Main Event: Bobo Brazil vs. Nikolai Volkoff
also in action will be Harley Race, Ivan Koloff and Ray Stevens, King Kong Bundy and Hillbilly Jim and Cousin Luke.

I'm hoping so too. But Stevens just lost to Jones. But then Stevens has always been a tag team powerhouse for me while sucking in singles competition.
