Hi Gwf universe,
I am running a fed which is now in 2091 . The roster is getting a bit big so i am going to do a wwe like split. What i am after is some advice/opinion.
1. name of the shows. 2. how would you split it. Either war games on one show, rest of the roster on the other or Defenders and Unholy Alliance on one show and fdf and royal ocurt on the other. 3. Would you go for a separate GWF and Galaxian Champion or have a unifed champion . 4. Would you keep War Games and IP belts active or is that too many belts.
I am after opinions, i wil ultimately make my own decision but all help and advice would be very much appreciated.
Thanks all.

I like the idea of having a regular GWF (including everyone)...but a separate show for just War Game matches/titles/etc. That actually makes more sense than any other way I have heard to handle the War Games. Nice idea!
I did something similar in, I think, 2090. I had an bi-weekly tournament night. Each night would have 8 wrestlers/teams that competed in a different theme (cruisers, superheavy, tag teams, hardcore, cage, etc.). It was a nice diversion from the normal storylines, it added to the rankings and it would sometimes prompt new feuds.

Dude...you really think the fed is unwieldy in 2091? I loved that era and consider it the 'golden age' of my COTG playing...however, here are my thoughts and take them for what it is worth- 2 cents... 1) names...hmmm...will have to think of this one...I will Pm ya if I think of something... 2) Well since you think the roster is getting too big to handle... do what you originally posted with the Unholy Alliance versus Defenders on one show..FDF and Royal Court on another show...than to keep it fresh, the next time around, flip flop them e.g. Unholy Alliance and FDF on one show and Defenders and Royal Court on the other...nothing worse than playing a game that gets stale after awhile trust me on this one... 3) IMO you should only have one Galaxian champion as this represents THE best in a promoters fed...the champ (or champs in the case of the IP and Tag champs) could tour and alternate through the shows. that way everyone on the roster could get a shot at the five pounds of gold... 4) Back in the day, I had Wargames titles and I loved them... definitely should have the IP title stay active throughout the years IMO and the Wargames championships add something to every match...for continuity the Wargames titles could be changed to a hardcore title after you work through 2093 and enter Sudden Death... I hope this helps chunkyt...look forward to you posting your results...anything else you need my opinion on, just go ahead and drop me a line...

My fed only had a Galaxian Championship (Singles & Tag) until after War Games. The War Games belt became the IP belt at the conclusion of War Games.

chunkyt, I'm playing an EC fed right now and when I reach 2089 I plan to split the fed into 2 brands/shows. Using the character ratings formula, I've balanced each show from 2089 - 2097 (what can I say, I like stats and to plan ahead for stuff ) so they are equal in roster "power" while maintaining the group feuds. If you want to PM me your e-mail I can send you my show rosters for those years.
