Fantasy CotG League??

So I've been mulling over trying to start a fantasy cotg league with my older bros who I'm trying to get into CotG.

This is what i was initially thinking....

My brothers and I draft 4 people each. One main star, one female, and two to be used as a tag team or whatever... then run matches normally with this scoring system.

100pt for winning the GWFZ Title
50 or 75 pt (can't decide) for winning the GWFZ Tag Title
50pt for winning the GWFZ Diamond (women's) Title
30pt for a successful PPV title defense.
20pt for a successful title defense.
20pt for a PPV win.
-15pt for a PPV loss.
10pt for a win.
-5pt for a loss.


I'm also thinking of other ways to get points. Doing interviews...even getting heat from a DQ possibly (even though you lose). Getting injured or suspended would also be affected by points as well. I'm not sure about these and would like imput.

Injured or suspended -20pt ( or -5pt per card)?
DQ loss (for a heel) +5pt, (for a face) -5
Win by Finisher +3 or +5 pt.
Good Interview +5pt

It has been pointed out that the championship scores my be a lil high and let someone who picks a champion run away early so i was thinking of downgrading every title to 50pts.

It has also been suggested to do wagering where you bet so many points on matches or your team on how well they'll do on a card.

Any ideas or critiques are welcome!!!!

I was thinking the exact same thing! I think you should just scale the points upward by 10 points each. The result would be:

30- Initially winning the GWFZ Title
20- Initially winning the GWFZ Tag Title
10- Initially winning the GWFZ Diamond (women's) Title as well as equal/lower tier titles


In addition if you want to score matches, (I have ran a couple tourneys back in my day, and over this time, I have found that the following is the best way to handle this) I would score with something similar to like so:

5- Pin-Fall/Submission Win
4- Disqualification Win
3- Count-Out Win
2- Draw/No contest
1- Loss


If you want to include PPV Win and Loss (If you still like that idea) as well as special incentive points, I would kike to submit the following points:

5- Successful Title Defense
4- PPV Win
3- Special Match Win
2- PPV Loss
1- Special Match Loss
