What if Shepard is actually a zombie under the mask who was scorned by his zombie lover? And thats the reason he's a zombie hunter - to exact revenge. No? Too ridiculous?!  |

Now, to give a serious answer, I'd say no, probably not. I think that Shepard stands on his own with the mystery of who (or what) he really is remaining unrevealed, and I don't know that pulling off the mask would actually end up adding anything to the character.

Now, to give a serious answer, I'd say no, probably not. I think that Shepard stands on his own with the mystery of who (or what) he really is remaining unrevealed, and I don't know that pulling off the mask would actually end up adding anything to the character. Remember when Rey Misterio took his mask off? That alone is a good enough reason to hope Shepard stays under the mask for the length of his COTG career. (Hopefully it's a long one) |

Bingo. If Shepard takes off his mask and he's just some dude that hunts monsters, then he's kinda meh. This might be a case where our imaginations are far better than any actual story that could get told here.
