Just as a side thought - Since aCe is continuing for sure and now we see Aspin Northstar guaranteed to be a part of it....I'm really curious to see how he will blossom and turn out. How the "Soldier of Prophecy" thing will unfold (I assume the 'prophecy' is unfulfilled?) is interesting and I'd like to seem him really become the superstar face of the fed someday.

C'mon, Chewey. Nobody uses Slingshots anymore. Now the Peacemaker Lariat, on the other hand ... You know, and maybe it was a northeast thing, but I've NEVER heard of a lariat, clothesline referred to as a "slingshot" (only Tully Blanchard's slingshot suplex was about the only thing...) and while we're on the northeast, still never understood the WWWF's escaping the cage first. That's a cowards way out So can anyone explain the term "slingshot" for "clothesline" (and don't try to explain any logic about the WWWF's cage matches!) ;D Sorry to derail anything!

Just my own experience here:
1. The term 'slingshot' in pro wrestling seemed to be more prevalent back in the day, i.e. pre-90s.
2. A 'Slingshot' used by itself - not added as a descriptor such as with a 'slingshot suplex' or a 'slingshot powerbomb' to name a couple - is essentially a 'running clothesline' or, more properly, a 'running clothesline off the ropes' (wrestler = sling bullet, ropes = slingshot). So when a wrestler flew off the ropes and nailed a clothesline it was just called a 'slingshot'.

As a nod to its past, obviously aCe should have a zombie as commissioner. No? Well, there's got to a zombie on the payroll somehow! Maybe official mascot.... ;D
