I used to be very, very into CoTG and have recently rediscovered Filsinger Games' stuff. I've gotten into LoW and have a number of the sets (but not all). I have been playing around a bit and am going to be starting my own fed up soon. Good to see your venturing into LOW, Dustin has some really good stuff coming from his wrestling feds, we both did work on a two man concept but that went away, but Dustin still does a top notch on his own stuff... Thanks for the warm comments, Dennis. MSCW is going to be awesome; I just finished rollin' the dice. Only four more matches to type up. It's going to be a big read, so only expect one card a week. I have to roll matches here and there when I have time. It's hard to produce a whole show at once with my bad back. Anyway, I hope you join us in the great LOW community, AJ. We'll be looking for your fed. Make sure you check out Crimson Cross' feds for great style, originality, and punctuality. He runs a tight ship with each of his feds. I guess I'll speak for Crimson and myself, "LONG LIVE THE LOW TABLE TOP GAME!"

Saturday Night Wrestling Card #1, January 2, 2010, Covington, LA Covington High School Auditorium
1. Sara Del Rey vs. Daizee Haze vs. April Hunter vs. Trinity DeNucci for the MSCW Ladies Championship — DeNucci took control at the beginning of the match, suplexing the breath out of most of her opponents. Her first big move was a running bulldog on Hunter that got her a near fall; another near fall followed when she hit Del Rey with a belly-to-belly overhead suplex. However, a mid-match Royal Butterfly Lock by Del Rey had the fan favorite pushing for the ropes. Del Rey then picked DeNucci back up and dropped her with a BUTTERFLY POWERSLAM for the pinfall. On the other side of the ring, Hunter power bombed Haze for the easy cover. After that, Hunter and Del Rey spike piledrove Haze, injuring her for four weeks. Carl Fergie, the referee, couldn’t really save Haze due to Hunter’s beastly intimidation. When Hunter tossed Haze out of the ring, Del Rey surprised Hunter with a BUTTERFLY POWERSLAM for the pinfall. Hunter was irate that Del Rey “cheated” her out of her title.
Backstage — Ted DiBiase and Steve Williams walked past each other backstage, bumped shoulders, and turned around to stare each other down. Race walked up to both men and backed them up from each other. Race exchanged words with DiBiase, and then Koloff made his way into the mix. It could have been chaos before the match! However, a storm of officials and security separated the men. Koloff just smirked and lifted his chain so that all his opponents could see it. The “Russian Bear” told all three opponents not to get their panties in a bunch. Koloff promised that there was no need to quarrel because he would be leaving the arena tonight as the first MSCW Heavyweight Champion.
2. Eddie Kingston vs. Brodie Lee in a MSCW Contract Match — This match had the fans on there feet! Kingston started the match off strong with dirty boxing, which lead into a stiff suplex. From here a lot of choking with the boot took place. Kingston took a big bite out of Lee’s forehead but, luckily, it did not open him up. Lee just couldn’t seem to get things together, and a Backfist to the Future dropped him for a near fall. Kingston quickly followed up with a backdrop driver and a Sliding D, but that didn’t get the job done. After some rapid-fire chops to the neck, Kingston nailed Lee with the LARIAT twice; this didn’t keep Lee down either. The fans were chanting MSCW! MSCW! MSCW! Finally, Lee came back with a devastating onslaught of power moves; choke slams, running power bombs, whips into the steel steps, nothing would keep Kingston down. However, after the third BIG BOOT, Lee collapsed on top of Kingston for the pin. Lee didn’t even know he had won. Kingston was a bloody mess after the last BIG BOOT. Joel Armstrong, the referee, quickly rolled out of the ring due to exhaustion from such a high-impact match. Watts rushed the ring and grabbed the microphone. He told Kingston and Eddie they both had contracts after that stellar match!
3. Gorgeous George vs. Larry Hennig vs. Red Bastien for a chance to move on to the MSCW Television Championship — George showcased his flashy persona and style all the way to the ring, while Bastien and Hennig stood in their corners waiting for the bell. Bastien and George locked up first. While that was taking place, Cherie Dupré sprayed perfume in Hennig’s eyes! Hennig scraped at his eyes and rolled out of the ring. Bastien fought back after the technical assault by George, but a missed back body drop attempt allowed George to knee Bastien in the face and apply the SPINNING TOEHOLD on Bastien. Red Bastien couldn’t withstand the pain and eventually tapped out. Hennig finally got back to the ring but was having trouble seeing. George shocked the crowd by lifting the bigger man up with an airplane spin, and from there the SPINNING TOEHOLD came into play! Hennig got to the ropes but was reeling from the attack. George then went to the top rope and hit a flying forearm that tangled Hennig up in the ropes. Hennig couldn’t break free! George started brutally attacking the trapped opponent. The referee tried to stop him but he kept going. Therefore, Hennig won by disqualification. The “Axe” will now be in the MSCW Television Championship match next week against the winner of Gotch, Brazil, and Kowalski!
4. Armstrongs vs. Valiant Brothers for a chance to move on to the MSCW Tag Team Championship — The Valiant Brothers had this match in the bag, keeping Bob Armstrong in their corner at all times. Brad Armstrong never got to get tagged in! Johnny eventually hit the “Bullet” with a TOP ROPE ELBOW, but somehow Bob Armstrong kicked out! Jimmy and Johnny then nailed the “Bullet” with two double clotheslines, allowing Jimmy to be tagged in and hit a nasty fist drop for the pin! The Valiant Brothers will now move on to face the winners of the Road Warriors and Fabulous Kangaroos match next week for the MSCW Tag Team belts!
In the Ring — Ivan Koloff came to the ring to tell everyone that he would be leaving the arena tonight as the MSCW Heavyweight Champion. The fans were booing the hell out of him! Angry, Koloff began beating his chain against each turnbuckle. Watts then hit the ring and told the “Russian Bear” to leave the ring and prepare for his match. Koloff raised a fist at Watts; however, Koloff knew the consequences of striking Watts. He simply smirked and left with his chain dragging behind him.
5. Bobo Brazil vs. Frank Gotch vs. Killer Kowalski for a chance to move on to the MSCW Television Championship — Kowalski was double teamed by Brazil and Gotch early on, keeping him out of action for a good portion of the match. Brazil and Gotch put on a strong fight for the win, but it was Gotch in the end putting Brazil away with the GOTCH TOEHOLD! Kowalski simply played possum most of the match and quickly came alive once Brazil was gone. Gotch fought back and kept applying his kneebars, armbars, crossfaces, and guillotine chokes, but Kowalski always managed to get away. In the end, Kowalski gave up and tossed Gotch into the steel steps outside the ring. He continued the attack and was disqualified, pushing Gotch into the MSCW Television Championship match next week against the “Axe!”
6. Road Warriors vs. Fabulous Kangaroos for a chance to move on to the MSCW Tag Team Championship — Roy Heffernan started the match off working over Hawk with a couple of Kangaroo Kicks. However, Hawk came back with a huge running clothesline. Frustrated, Heffernan left the ring and Hawk followed. A wild brawl erupted outside the ring, and it wasn’t long before the Fabulous Kangaroos were disqualified when Costello and Berry hit Hawk and Animal with steel chairs. The Road Warriors will now face the Valiant Brothers next week for the MSCW Tag Team straps!
7. Steve Williams vs. Ted DiBiase vs. Harley Race vs. Ivan Koloff for the MSCW Heavyweight Championship — Johnny Martinez, the referee for this match, checked all the men for foreign objects before the bell rang. DiBiase and Williams looked each other down from each side of the ring, while Race kept his eyes on both men. Koloff stayed off to the side, relaxed against the ropes and laughing at the rage between DiBiase and Williams. DiBiase and Race were the first two to lock up, which lead to DiBiase getting a pin attempt after a swinging neckbreaker. Koloff and Williams were in a pretty heavy brawl, but “Dr. Death” had Koloff down for most of the match. DiBiase then rocked the house when he applied the FIGURE FOUR LEGLOCK on Race; Koloff and Williams were down outside the ring. Race got to the ropes, however, DiBiase’s LOADED GLOVE completely knocked out Race, allowing DiBiase to get the pinfall. Once Koloff and Williams got back into the ring, the “Russian Bear” and DiBiase double-teamed Williams. The fans were really behind “Dr. Death” throughout the whole match, but the beat down never stopped, and it didn’t look too good for the fan favorite. Eventually, in a devastating fashion, Koloff held Williams in a backbreaker position after a huge backbreaker. This allowed DiBiase to hit multiple second rope elbow drops across Williams’ throat. Williams was injured badly, but DiBiase didn’t care; he got the pin before throwing his nemesis out of the ring. While DiBiase looked down at a hurt Williams, Koloff blindsided DiBiase with his chain and then hit a backbreaker. After that powerful move, Koloff applied the RUSSIAN BEARHUG. DiBiase tapped out within the first ten seconds! It was madness! The fans were booing both men! The “Russian Bear” Ivan Koloff became the MSCW Heavyweight Champion!

Very good card! Dibiase and Williams already ready to kill each other....nice! Koloff is one of personal favorites in LOW so always cool to see him take the belt. I'll take the Road Warriors over the Valiants for the Tag straps, and Gotch over "The Axe" to win the TV belt!

Mid-South Wrestling News
* After both of their matches, “Dr. Death” Steve Williams and Daizee Haze were rushed to the St. Tammany Parish Hospital in Covington, Louisiana. Haze checked in for neck pain due to the spike piledriver that Hunter and Del Rey gave her. She should be ready to get back into action in a few weeks. Williams, on the other hand, is said to be out of action for at least two months. The brutal backbreaker hold by Koloff and second rope elbow drops from DiBiase left Williams with bruised ribs and a bulged disk in his lower back. We wish Haze and “Dr. Death” a speedy recovery!
* Ivan Koloff’s first match as the MSCW Heavyweight Champion will take place at the Monroe Civic Center in Monroe, Louisiana! Koloff will face the Young Bucks in a non-title handicap match to start the show. Koloff requested a handicap match due to the fact that he wants to prove that he’s the most powerful man in the Mid-South! Also, the reason Koloff is opening the show is because he has to fly out before the end of the show. He is scheduled to wrestle in the Northeast territory to promote Mid-South Championship Wrestling.
*After their amazing performance at the first Saturday Night Wrestling, Bill Watts has asked Eddie Kingston and Brodie Lee to go at it again. The rumor around the locker room is that Brodie Lee has been taken under “Williams’ wing,” while Eddie Kingston has been pulled into “DiBiase’s camp.” However, these rumors have yet to be proved.
* Sara Del Rey will face April Hunter in a non-title match.
* Frank Gotch and Larry Hennig will go toe-to-toe for the MSCW Television Championship! Fans are already calling Gotch the winner; however, one can never underestimate the “Axe!” Hennig, though he has no beef with Gotch, is very hot after what Gorgeous George did to him at the first Saturday Night Wrestling show.
* Also, Gorgeous George and Killer Kowalski will face the Road Warriors; the Sandman will face Ox Baker in a hardcore match; Red Bastien will face Bobo Brazil for a future shot at the MSCW Television Championship; the Heartbreak Express will take on the Armstrongs!
* In the main event, the Fabulous Kangaroos will face the Valiant Brothers for the MSCW Tag Team titles. With “Wild” Red Berry at the Kangaroos’ side, Jimmy and Johnny Valiant felt it was necessary to go and find a manager to even out the playing field. Jonny Fairplay has officially been hired by the Valiant Brothers to accompany them at ringside.
