Sudden Death 2113-4: JeffT
SUDDEN DEATH 2113-2114
SUDDEN DEATH 2113-2114 would mark the third time ever the GWF would feature teams and individuals battling it out with the goal banishing others from the sport. Over the two years the feuds would change and the stakes would differ for each. Heroes would battle heroes and villains would fight villains, culminating in the ultimate conflict for the control of the GWF itself!
SUDDEN DEATH 2113
Both the Hero and Villain Teams would fight amongst themselves in 2113. The Heroes would battle each other to determine the means and the philosophy by which they would operate for the years to come. It would pit the teams proposing a noble and honorable direction against those who preferred justice by any manner necessary. For the Villains it was a simple conflict for power and control. Mandrill was in one corner, backed by Mangus and Murdok. The new Aethran Minister of War, Vengeance was in the opposite corner, supported by Doomsayer and Anarchy.
Main Storylines of 2113:
The Rise of Cordanus: Cordanus makes several strategic moves to help increase his stranglehold over the GWF. First, he declares 2113 and 2114 to be Sudden Death years with the Heroes and Villains feuding internally to decide the direction each side will take in the future. However, his Takeover team will not be involved as they are ‘above’ the other groups, thus ensuring he will grow stronger while everyone else thrashes each other. Then he brings the dark mystic Mesmer back into the fold as an ‘insurance’ policy. Cordanus gives a very vague explanation of Mesmer’s ‘duties’, but Phantast knows he will be using his dark sorcery to assist Takeover and vows to prevent it. Additionally, he made an agreement with Krakan - The HitMen For Hire would be the official bodyguards for the Takeover team. Finally, the megalomaniacal Mensan adds the talented Euritar to his faction, totally disregarding the fact that he was under contract to Reynard B. Guile. Unfortunately, his arrogance didn’t end there. He made several more controversial and infuriating decisions such as firing Johnny Rocket for asking questions he didn’t like and banning Reynard B. Guile for life after Guile slapped him for stealing Euritar. He even spit on sacred tradition by moving the GWF’s opening festivities and press conferences from Deimos to the Stasslar Theater on his home planet and changing the Deimos Perennial to the Mensa Perennial.
The Most Loyal Aethran Of Them All – For his assistance with the murder of Massacre, Vengeance agreed to give Doomsayer a top Aethran warrior in 2113. At first only known as ‘P3’ (the third best Aethran warrior at the time), he was named Rampage in a ceremony on Aethra, but Doomsayer renamed him Evolution before he entered the Transevolver. He dumped Doomsayer upon realizing that the evil scientist was originally unhappy about only receiving a P3. He then rejected Vengeance, accusing him of ‘selling out’ and being a traitor. He then publicly declared his loyalty to Spike as Minister of War and disappeared. He resurfaced during the Villain Team Press Conference, again rejecting Doomsayer and Vengeance both. He finally joined Mandrill’s Colonizer Team for protection against the two groups he’d now made enemies out of and gave himself a new name….Disaster.
Team Feuds:
Takeover vs. The Out-Group FDF vs. The Fighting Titans The Avenging Warriors vs. The Ramparts Bloody Revenge vs. The RocketMen The Colonizers of Aethra vs. The Gladiators of Aethra Murdok’s World vs. Transevolver Brymstone Burning vs. The Alien Connection HitMen For Hire (independents; official bodyguards of Takeover)
2113 Newcomers:
Disaster: An awesome and dangerous fighter when he originally left Aethra, a trip through the Transevolver has turned Disaster into an incredible wrecking machine. He boasts incredible power and a dangerous assortment of moves. His finisher is RAMPAGE, a face-first choke slam that can be devastating if he hits it right.
Atman: This newcomer is like no other professional wrestler in history. He is calm, quiet, and meditative. He comes to the GWF merely to improve himself spiritually and is not interested in wins and losses. He respects other fighters but wants no allegiances. He is an excellent technical wrestler and incredibly focused, so much so that he has an incredible ability to adapt his fighting style to the strengths and weaknesses of his opponents. His finisher, THE THIRD EYE, is as strange as he is. He applies a nerve hold while simultaneously staring his opponent which causes paralysis!
The Creatures of Lamia: This is a new tag team from Brymstone. Cyclopes is an awesome giant with one eye. This ugly, mindless brute is possibly the largest wrestler in the history of the GWF. He is dimwitted and slow, but he has unmatched power and is nearly impossible to harm or take down to the mat. Most of his offense is clumsy, but he has three crushing finishers to use when his opponent is in trouble. First, there’s the MONSTER ELBOW SLAM, then the CYCLOPES POWER SLAM – normal moves amplified by his size and power. Finally, the UNMOVABLE OBJECT is a big splash with the potential to be the greatest finisher ever, but there’s a good chance he’ll miss it. His partner is the small, toad-like creature known as Turge. He has very little wrestling skills, but is a sneaky and dirty fighter. His main advantage, though, is that he also seems to be the only person who can control and speak with Cyclopes.
Other New Standard Cards:
Overkill: Bad news for the rest of the GWF’s Tag Team division – Overkill has finally received his Cleansing. He’s tougher and more destructive than before, if that’s possible. He’s also totally focusing his skills on tag team competition. He’s got a double-team move called Double Impact (double flying shoulder tackle off the ropes) and he and Malice have renamed their finisher. It’s now called AETHRAN SUPREMACY.
Prodigy: Age and poor lifestyle have caught up to Prodigy now and he’s definitely lost a step. He’s also been forced into teaming with his old partner Skinhead to reform Superiority Complex. The problem is that they both hate each other.
Alter Ego: Wrestling has certainly seen its share of strange Tag Teams, but this combination might be the strangest of all. Buck Steele/Genocide couldn’t stand sharing the same body and Doomsayer offered a trip through the Transevolver to split them into separate bodies. Unfortunately, things didn’t work quite as expected as Buck’s mind ended up in the Genocide’s body and vice versa. Now we have Hyper and Genocide. Hyper has Genocide’s mind in Buck Steele’s body and he is definitely not happy about it. He’s got a wild and extreme style that doesn’t take into account his new smaller, weaker body. He has two finishers whose names describe them perfectly, SLINGSHOT INTO RING POST and BERSERK POUNDING ASSAULT. Meanwhile, Buck Steele’s mind inhabited Genocide’s body and Buck couldn’t be happier. He’s kept the Genocide name and enjoys being so powerful now. The only drawback is that his old skills don’t mesh well with his new physical prowess. He has a finisher called SPINAL TAP (submission backbreaker) and also a tag finisher known as INNER TURMOIL (backward head slam by Genocide then a flying elbow from Hyper). To make matters worse, the two don’t seem to be getting along too well.
Colonizer Empire: Vendetta and Nefarus have stepped it up a notch now that they will be feuding with Malice and the new Overkill. They’ve sharpened their skills and timing as a team and even added some great double-team moves as well. Vendetta still uses EMPIRE TRIUMPHANT and has added another tag finisher named the COLONIZER DROPKICK (hammerlock by Vendetta then a missile dropkick from Nefarus). The new finisher requires excellent timing though so there’s a chance the opponent will move with Nefarus hitting his partner. Nefarus still uses his SCISSORDRIVER but he’s added a tag move called The Pain Zone (leg kick by Nefarus into a clothesline from Vendetta).
Special Edition Cards:
Avalanche: Johnny Rocket recruited this 500 pound mountain of a man from Cloneworld. He made a big impression in his first appearance by attacking Paragon with a powerbomb onto the floor during a press conference. He will be the enforcer on Rocket’s team, which fits his mean and aggressive personality just fine. Unfortunately, overconfidence is also one of his personality traits as well. It shows through most clearly with his FIVE COUNT finisher. It’s a big splash off the ropes, but when he covers his opponent he demands a five count from the ref instead of the normal 3 count. Avalanche is a key SE card as his character is directly involved in 2113 storylines and this is the only way you can get him.
Vengeance: Slight stat changes for the new Aethran Minister of War.
Mesmer: Mesmer surreptitiously uses his magic to help the members of Takeover or to impair their opponents.
Phantast: The wise and honorable Phantast knows precisely why Mesmer is here and aims to stop him anywhere he tries to break the rules. He will assist in any match Mesmer gets involved in, which even includes helping the Villains. Phantast strongly believes that magic doesn’t belong in wrestling. He will counter or disrupt Mesmer’s sorcery, but he won’t directly aid or injure a wrestler. _______________________________________________________
SUDDEN DEATH 2114
2113 Results: The Heroic Alliance defeated The War Heroes with all three Alliance teams winning their individual feuds. Mandrill defeated Vengeance for control of the Villains as The Colonizers and Alien Connection won their respective battles and only Transevolver came through for Vengeance.
Main Storylines of 2114:
The Man Formerly With The Power: Cordanus’s control of the GWF was seriously weakened when Omega and Morpheus informed him that the USFP revoked his claim to ownership of the federation. Rather than drag everyone through the courts for years while Cordanus fought the ruling, the two legends proposed a quicker solution: a Sudden Death Feud against Takeover for control. While new ownership would be put in place in 2115, the winner would get to appoint the GWF commissioner in 2115. Cordanus had no choice but to agree.
Long Live Spike: With Vengeance already on shaky ground due to his prior actions, losing a Sudden Death feud to Mandrill pushed the Aethran people into a full-scale riot that lead to Vengeance being overthrown. Mayhem was thrown in jail but Vengeance could not be found. Eventually, Spike was declared the new Minister of War and Disaster was reunited with his fellow Gladiators.
The GWF Coalition: A team would be formed to feud with Takeover, but control of the GWF wouldn’t be the only thing they’d be fighting for in 2114. Star Warrior had moved past his Avenging Warrior attitude and reverted back to his old self. With Thantos managing the Takeover team he requested to be able to lead the team against him with the loser being forced to retire from the GWF! Max Shield handpicked certain members of the Hero Team with approval from Lord Nexus and the other leaders. It was then that they received a shocking offer of assistance from Mandrill. For reasons of his own, he didn’t wish Cordanus to maintain his control either. With the alliance between Hero and Villain completed, The GWF Coalition was born.
Team Feuds:
GWF Coalition vs. Takeover The Fighting Titans vs. HitMen For Hire FDF vs. The Alien Connection The Ramparts vs. Murdok’s World RocketMen’s Revenge vs. Brymstone Burning The Gladiators of Aethra vs. Desperate Measures
Wolf & Amazonia vs. Thrill of the Chase (not a Sudden Death feud)
2114 Newcomers:
Kill Prey: Kill Prey’s well-planned and executed attack on the legendary Wolf might go down as the most daring and fearless rookie debut ever. Wolf was tricked into a sneak attack after being told that his old friend Proteus had returned. Kill Prey humiliated Wolf by trapping him in a net and publicly whipping him. This newcomer is a silent and efficient hunter whose primary motive is to hunt ‘worthy prey’ and actually admits to having great respect for Wolf. Like all great hunters, Kill Prey has great patience and uses that skill in the ring. His strategy is to wear down his opponents, patiently waiting for the right time to ‘make the kill’. Kill Prey has a potent offense with several of his stronger moves being designed to weaken his opponent and making his finishing move, AMBUSH (flying bulldog head-smash off the turnbuckle that increases in damage each time he delivers a setup move), more and more effective the longer the match continues.
Shann-Ra: This new female wrestler appeared during the sneak attack on Wolf alongside Kill Prey, assaulting Amazonia when she arrived to help the Ani-Man. The nature of her relationship to Kill-Prey, or Bounty Hunter for that matter, is currently unknown and none of them have offered answers. She is aggressive and athletic. Her finisher is called MACHETE – she will drape her opponent onto the top rope and hit them with a flying guillotine leg drop of the turnbuckle.
Slayer: Next to nothing is known about the creature who calls himself Slayer. What is known is that he has some type of grudge against Atman. He interferes in his matches and wants to wrestle him wherever possible. He uses a spinning neckbreaker, called DEADLY MISSION, that drives his opponent face-first to the mat.
Tanck: The evil Krakan has recruited this powerful man from his home system of CTA-102. He is short and squat in build, but makes up for it with a great deal of boasting. He calls himself “the galaxy’s strongest man”, and he might be close to the truth. The IRON MAN VISE is his finisher, a crushing bear hug that can only be resisted by power wrestlers such as him.
Cyclone: Lorelei brought Birril Nireagol from Centaurus to help in her fight with the Brymstonians. She soon decided to join forces with the flamboyant Johnny Rocket and he decided Birril needed an image makeover immediately. Now he goes by Cyclone, a name that’s fits his amazing agility and fast-paced style, and will partner with Avalanche on the tag team called Elemental Fury. SEISMIC QUAKE (an incredible double flip off Avalanche’s shoulders who himself is on top of the turnbuckle) is the tag team move they use to end matches and if it successful its one of the most devastating finishers ever.
Other New Standard Cards:
Eclipse: Formerly known as Rising Sun, Eclipse now has a dark, angry attitude. For some reason he feels betrayed and neglected by Lord Nexus and has gone over to the side of Krakan, the Titan’s most bitter enemy. He possesses one of the best offenses in the sport and has two finishing moves – DEADLY KICK EXHIBIT (karate kick while opponent is tied up in the ropes) and CHOPPING BLOCK EXHIBIT (incredible chop to the head as if he was chopping a block in half).
Scion Nexus: The popular Titan is now in his prime and even more focused due to Eclipse leaving the team. He’s improved his strength and his wrestling skills and is now the total package. His new finisher is a falling fist off the turnbuckle flying and across the ring called THE APEX.
Anarchy: The strange hardcore fighter from Brymstone has improved over the years and even changed his style a bit. It shows in his new finisher called GEHENNA’S GATE (torture rack, that turns into a drop maneuver if his opponent doesn’t submit to the rack) which won’t get him disqualified like the CRUCIFIX DROP.
Minotaur: Son of Ram has made very rapid improvements lately - so rapid that some are questioning if the Transevolver had anything to with it. THE MINOTAUR’S CHARGE works just like it sounds, the opponent is hung on the turnbuckle and the Minotaur sprints headfirst straight at him.
Rouser: Unwanted by Mandrill, Rouser has apologized to The Ramparts team and has been accepted back by them. He’s certainly no title contender, but he’s worked hard on wrestling and shows incredible determination. His finisher is called XENOPHOBIA (smash with a wood stick)
Special Edition Cards:
Genocide: Buck is adjusting to his new body and even taking on some edgy traits to his personality. He’s also brought back CORPUS GENOCIDE as his finisher.
Bounty Hunter: He’s back for one last go at Wolf, but now he’s managing Kill Prey and Shann-Ra.
Atys Tetrac: He’s removed his mask and adopted his real name.
Spike: Now as Aethran Minister of War.

Revelations 2115-6: By Aaron Anderson
What follows is an overview of the two part Revelation storyline. This covers game editions 2115-6. The author is none other than Aaron Anderson aka Board Member Incognito. This is an outstanding analysis of the time frame. Thank you Aaron. -------------------------------------------------------------------
REVELATIONS 2115
By Aaron Anderson (Incognito)
2115 sees the end of Sudden Death. Victories by the FDF, Murdok’s World, Rocketmen Revenge, The Gladiators, Fighting Titans, and Takeover; lead to the banishment of Supernova, Mutant, Corporal Aegis, Tortured Soul, and Monad. As well as Mangus, Maelstrom, Terminus, and Velar who all decided to leave for the Cygnus Wrestling Alliance (CWA), following the “Alien Connection” loss. But, the biggest departures would be the lifetime banishment of two of the most significant figures in GWF history: Krakan and Star Warrior. Also leaving in 2115 are Enigma, Mad Jester, and Prodigy who all left for the CPC. Murdok, Trench, Rankor, and Grovel who all returned to Dimension Y. The retiring Ms. Liberty. Skinhead, who was fired for lack of reliability, after no showing several matches. Massif, who was banned by Cordanus. 2115 is also the last official listing for Dreadnaught, as it is assumed he died in the ring. His death rating was also increased from 2-5 to 2-9 for those feds in which he defied the odds and was still alive.
New to the GWF in 2115 are:
Swarm: a masked animan who controls stinging insects.
Tauran: a well aged rebel from Equuless .
Godsend: the charismatic, handsome, evil leader of the arriving fourth realm.
Nightmare: Godsends shadow like mercenary.
Petarra: the Glutinous, lazy member of the fourth realm.
Vallah: the mythical keeper of the realms; who wants nothing more than to send Godsend and Co. back to the fourth realm.
Receiving updates are:
Amazonia Thrash Ursa Major Antak Blazing Skull Sir Ender who is now known as Crush.
Takeovers victory meant that Cordanus would be commissioner for one more year. However, his bragging would lead to a break up of his “Takeover” Team [Euritar, Mike Fortune, Blacklist (Cordanus and Mensar), and Immovable Objects ( Mensar and Tanck)] and a feud against the former Takeover manager Thantos and his “Angry Young Men” [Thantos, Eclipse, Vyper, and Next Generation (Bloodline and Encubus)].
Following several sneak attacks in which “Thrill of the Chase” [Bounty Hunter, Kill Prey, Shann-Ra, Vengeance, and Tauran] ensnared Wolf, Mandrill, and Minotaur in a hunter’s net. The “Animen of Andromeda” [Mandrill, Wolf, Amazonia. Animan Invasion (Minotaur and Antak), and Animan Horde (Swarm and Antak)] put their differences behind them and joined together to fight their hunters. While also taking on their old rivals the “Gladiators of Aethra” [Brute, Thunder, Disaster, Thrash, Crush, and the Gladiators (Malice and Overkill)]. (Sir Ender received a fake “cleansing” and became Crush, Thunder and Thrash found humor in this, but the rest of the Gladiators just found it annoying.). The Gladiators also challenged Thrill of the Chase when they learned that the Aethran traitor, Vengeance, had joined their team. Finding themselves out numbered, Bounty Hunter initiated try outs to find two new members for Thrill of the Chase. In order to join, perspective members must win a Hunters Prey match.
In the ashes of the GWF Coalitions defeat, Nefarus forms the “Genesis Coalition” [Wraith, Hyper, Genocide, and Colonizer Empire (Nefarus and Vendetta)] and; in an effort to prove himself, challenges the GWFs’ most prestigious stable the “Federation Defense Fighters” [Commando Sam, Atys Tetrac, Archon, Max Shield, and Stars and Stripes (U.S. Male and American Guy)] to a feud.
But, the headline feuds of 2115 are the “Fourth Realm” [Godsend, Slayer, Anarchy, Maxine Babe, and Great Evil (Petarra and Nightmare) (helped out by Mesmer)] and “Brymstone Burning” [Draconian Sheik, Creatures of Lamia (Turge and Cyclopes), and The Hellions (Serpentine and Hunger)] taking on the “Fighting Titans” [Lord Nexus, Scion Nexus, Atman, and Titan Honor (Blade and Ursa Major)] and “Rocketmen Revenge” [Johnny Rocket, Dreggs, Blazing Skull, Sleeze (Sleeze only wrestles part-time), Elemental Fury (Cyclone and Avalanche), and The Challenge (Anaxis and Lorelei)]. Lorelei surprised the GWF by reluctantly teaming with Blazing Skull: who had killed her son crossfire years ago, provided he stopped using Death By Fire. Vallah (aided by Phantast), stating that the fate of all universes are threatened by the arrival of the Fourth Realm used his power to keep Godsend, Nightmare, and Petarra trapped on Brymstone. They can only leave with his permission; but, his ability to control their movements only lasts about a year. As a result Godsend created Fourth Realm championships for his men with himself as Heavyweight Champion, Great Evil as Tag Team Champions, Slayer as Hardcore Champion, and Anarchy as Brymstone champion. Pegasus also challenged Godsend to a one on one feud after Maxine Babe became enamored with Godsend.
Other feuds include the Moral Majority (Varsity and Sabre) taking on Desolation Factor (Rack and Ruin) and The Soulwatcher challenging Nth Degree (who announced a desire to try oout for Thrill of the Chase) with Doomsayer as his manager to a one on one feud. Doomsayer had another surprise as he announced he would auction off the Transevolver. Ventross, Warfare, Rouser, and the Genderless Taechon have no official feuds in 2115.

REVELATIONS 2116
By Aaron Anderson (Incognito)
2116 sees Massif named the new Commissioner of the GWF by Omega . His first order of business is to announce the return of the Deimos perennial. GWF co-founder and first heavyweight champion, Morpheus dies on August 4, 2115; from heat complications. In his honor the new press conference room is named the “Morpheus Center”. Rumors circulate that Murdok unsuccessfully tried to return to Dimension K from Dimension Y. GWF newcomer Vin Strutter won the Transevolver with a bid of one million dollars; last outbidding Commando Sam who was trying to keep it out of villainous hands. Others bidding on Doomsayers machine were Mandrill; who was eventually disqualified by auctioneer Barot Lus Cortoc for repeated outbursts, Nefarus, Bounty Hunter, and Johnny Rocket.
Departing in 2116: were the now powerless Cordanus and Mensar. Dreggs, Sleeze, Pegasus, and Nth Degree who all announced their retirements. The Draconian Sheik and Mike Fortune, both of whom simply disappeared. Tocsin who left for the WGX. And Vanity who left to star in a movie about his life called “Vain and Proud of it”.
Arriving to the GWF are:
Valour: a “warrior soul” from the second realm known for his “courage, bravery, and self-righteous anger”.
Paladin: a loyal second realm warrior.
Reckless: Paladins enthusiastic tag team partner, also from the second realm.
Vin Strutter: an arrogant, masterful showman in the vain of P.T. Barnum or Vince McMahon.
The Amazing Mann: Strutters main man, and an escape artist in the mold of Harry Houdini.
Phantasy: the sexy power behind the Troubleshooters tag team heading their way too the GWF from the CPC.
The Bomb: One half of the Troubleshooters.
Muss: The other half of the Troubleshooter tag team.
Receiving updates in 2116 are:
Atman Commissioner Massif Blade: who is now known a Switchblade Darkseed: who evolved from Slayer.
Although not receiving new cards; Nefarus and Bounty Hunter both now have a distracter rating of 6 and Wraith has a distracter rating of 5 as each move into a more managerial roll.
In the headline feud Vallah brought in three souls from the Second Realm and formed “The Immortals” [Valour, Atman, and Second Realm (Paladin and Reckless)] to fight the Fourth Realm team named the “Serpents of Evil” by Vallah and “Challengers of Evil” by Godsend [Godsend, Nightmare, Fourth Realm (Darkseed and Petarra), and Godsends Harem (Maxine Babe and Anaxis)]. With his ability to controll the Fourth Realms movement ending, Vallah descended Valour, Paladin, and Reckless and gave them physical form in the hope they can stop Godsend from becoming a “Keeper of the Realms”, and plunging the Universe into chaos and destruction.
The Feud between “The Rocketmen” [Johnny Rocket, Lorelei, Swithblade, Euritar, and Elemental Fury (Cyclone and Avalanche)] and “Brymstone Burning” [Anarchy, Blazing Skull, Creatures of Lamia (Turge and Cyclopes), and The Hellions (Hunger and Serpentine)] heats up following two separate incidences. The first came when ,not unexpectedly, Blazing Skull attacked Lorelei and attempted to hit her with Hellfire. The second came when Turge hade Cyclopes attack and severely injure Cyclone in Lepus. Cyclone was hospitalized for three days and Cyclopes was suspended for two weeks following the attack.
Thantos’ attempt to get under Lord Nexus skin, by spitting on and ripping up a photo of Nexus and Rising Sun backfired when Eclipse turned on Thantos. After apologizing to the “Fighting Titans” [Lord Nexus, Eclipse, Scion Nexus, Ursa Major, and Sniper] Eclipse was allowed to rejoin the Titans and help them fight the “Angry Young Men” [Thantos, Encubus, Bloodline, and Vyper].
Failing to outbid Vin Strutter on the Transevolver, Commando Sam and the “Federation Defense Fighters” [Commando Sam, Atys Tetrac, Archon, and Stars and Stripes (U.S. Male and American Guy)], challenged both “The Greatest Show in the Galaxy” [Vin Strutter, The Amazing Mann, Hyper, and Doomsayer (Technical assistant to Strutter)] and “The Troubleshooters” [Phantasy and The Troubleshooters (The Bomb and Muss)].
With Corparal Aegis still exiled from the Sudden Death Defeat and Murdok attempting to return, Trisis has taken over as Manager of “Team Centra” [ Trisis, Ventross, Warfare, and Rouser] while they feud with ‘Tanck and the Moral Majority [Tanck, Varsity, and Sabre].
A power struggle between Nefarus and Mandrill over leadership of “The Colonizers” [Colonizer Empire (Nefarus and Vendetta), Max Shield, Genocide, and Wraith] leads to a feud between the Colonizers and the “Animen of Andromeda” [Mandrill, Wolf, Animen Horde (Antak and Swarm), Animen Invasion (Antak and Minotaur), and Amizonia]. With Nefarus claiming Mandrill must earn his position of leader back by beating his team.
“Thrill of the Chase” [Bounty Hunter, Kill Prey, Vengeance, Desolation Factor (Rack and Ruin), Tauran, and Shann-Ra] have become embroiled in a feud against the “Gladiators of Aethra” [Spike, Brute, Disaster, Thunder, Malice & Overkill (Malice and Overkill), Crush, and Thrash] over Thrill of the Chases alliance with Vengeance. Kill Prey is most unhappy with “Fighting Vengeances Battle” as he would much rather trap Animen like Wolf.
Taechon has no Specific feud or team and was even turned down by Strutter for being to much of a freak! The Soulwatcher, busy with activities on Earth, Moved to wrestling only on a part time bases. Mesmer might join the Fourth Realm or Brymstone Burning team (“it’s up to you, promoter”); if he does Phantast would join the feuding opponent team of Mesmers team.

CPC Classics
The CPC Classics series is a spin-off from the GWF’s CPC 2105-2108 saga. Originally launched as a standalone set showing the CPC’s first year as an independent organization, it was launched as the first official alternate ongoing fed in the Champions of the Galaxy umbrella with CPC Classics 2112, when long-time GWF Promoter editor Mark Ashby took over the creative reigns, giving the CPC its own unique identity. _________________________________________________________
CPC Classics 2109
Rookies: Four
The Dominator: The Dominator joined the CPC in 2109 as a member of Outsider Domination, a major signing from the AFW where he had crossed paths with Terminus. His first year in the CPC was spent battling Terminus as part of the Outsider Domination versus Penthouse Suite feud. When CPC operated sporadically during the “Outlaw Years”, The Dominator split with Holocaust & The Troubleshooters and formed a new Outsider Domination squad with Shylock & Saboteur. The Dominator was almost the designated hatchetman for Outsider Domination over the next few years, rarely making headlines but feuding with the singles star of whatever team Shylock and Saboteur had problems with in a given year. When Saboteur revealed himself as the mastermind behind the Conspirator conspiracy, The Dominator sided with Shylock in the formation of the Outlaw Fight Club. In late 2116, at the height of the OFC-Masked Assassins feud, The Dominator was the first major casualty of war when his leg was shattered in a savage attack by The Assassins.
Phantasy & The Troubleshooters: Inseparable from the time they arrived in the CPC, the trio of Phantasy, Muss & The Bomb made headlines. They immediately went after Penthouse Suite, forming a group with Holocaust & The Dominator in order to do so. In fact, one of the early classic CPC feuds was the amazing tag wars fought between The Troubleshooters and The Penthouse Punks. During the Outlaw Years, Phantasy & The Troubleshooters broke ranks with Dominator, taking Holocaust with them and forming Phantasmagoria. Muss & The Bomb concentrated on proving they were the top tag team in the CPC, feuding with every major team, from The Penthouse Punks to The Strongmen to The Stormtroopers to Espionage, while Phantasy made her mark as the Alpha Female of the CPC. The trio made their biggest headlines in late 2115 when they became the first CPC stars to jump ship to the GWF. The trio immediately made their mark by engaging in a feud with Stars & Stripes, in a feud that ultimately exposed rifts in both teams.
Notable Updates:
The Penthouse Punks: Romulus and Taurine had entered the GWF in 2103 as a pair of loudmouth braggarts dubbed, in a less than flattering manner, the “Upstart Punks”. They said they would be ranked among the top teams by 2106 and, when that failed, they disappeared. They spent the next three years wrestling in masks in the SWA before emerging as Colby’s new tag team in Penthouse Suite, where they had several classic battles against The Troubleshooters. When Espionage extorted Magnus Colby into iron-clad contracts during “The Outlaw Years”, Taurine and Romulus were dispatched to get revenge. When Magnus Colby downsized Penthouse Suite after wrestling’s restoration in Dimension K, Taurine and Romulus repeatedly avoided the ax. In late 2115, Romulus betrayed Taurine and joined Michiko Ishida’s Brains & Brawns, seemingly marking an end to one of the greatest tag team legacies in CPC history. However, Romulus shockingly saved Taurine from an attack by Comedy. The Punks reunited, thanks to their mutual respect, to reestablish their names as the premier tag team in the CPC.
Bishop Hell: After being banished from the GWF forever, and injured by Blazing Skull, Bishop Hell entered the twilight of his career in 2109. He formed The Demons of Hell with Death’s Head and Erebus, and feuded with Gila in a far cry from his former glory. In 2112, he cut ties with Lower World and announced his retirement tour, giving Zed Marlowe a baptism by fire at the request of Magnus Colby.
Zouave the Conqueror: Zouave was picked up by Exo-King to be the enforcer for his King’s Court team in 2109. Zouave showed marked improvement from his GWF years, remaining fiercely loyal to Exo-King and Jack of Diamonds, alternately teaming with Sentinel and Zed Marlowe against whichever team he needed to fight. Zouave, apparently disheartened by the family feud between Exo-King and Jack of Diamonds, departed the CPC in late 2116.
Major Events of 2109
The CPC emerges as a stand-alone federation.
Legally forced to separate entirely from the GWF, the CPC began to establish its own identity as a separate company. Several familiar faces were signed from the GWF, as well as new stars from other independent companies. Magnus Colby kept a Team CPC in the GWF, while overhauling The Penthouse Suite in the CPC, using CPC notables Terminus, Janus and Velar as the foundation, recruiting rising stars Taurine and Romulus, and securing major Dimension X star Vector One. Other notable arrivals included Holocaust, The King’s Court, Raven and his cousin Talon, The Savage Kingdom, The Stormtroopers, Halcon Oro, Lycosa, Kati, Dynamo and The Theatre of Pain.
President Cordanus of the UFSP gets wrestling barred from Dimension K.
Just as the CPC was trying to establish its own identity, President Cordanus took over the GWF and ordered wrestling barred from Dimension K, shutting down every promotion in the Dimension. A few CPC stars such as Janus and Vector One decided to return to Dimension X, which held no such ban. As for Colby, he chose not to go quietly into the night, and began making preparations for the future… _________________________________________________________
CPC Classics 2112
Rookies: Six.
Shylock: Arguably the most influential wrestler in CPC history, without whom the face of the company as it exists today would be RADICALLY different. During the CPC’s Underground Years, Shylock joined the CPC and pulled a long con with Saboteur to secure iron-clad contracts from Magnus Colby, then began to extort him for title shots and exposure. Shylock’s own checkered past would haunt him over the next couple of years, as he began to be stalked by the mysterious Conspirator. Convinced that it was everyone from Magnus Colby to Jack of Diamonds to Lycosa, Shylock didn’t find out that it was his own partner until Saboteur violently turned on him. Shylock, at this point, is a tag team specialist with Saboteur, and the two are leading Outsider Domination against Penthouse Suite. After splitting with Saboteur and going solo, Shylock emerges as a top star in the CPC, and his own Mixed Martial Arts background helps reshape the CPC into the hybrid MMA-Wrestling federation POW.
Saboteur: Perhaps the greatest conman in wrestling history, Saboteur joined forces with Shylock during the CPC’s underground years entirely to gain Shylock’s trust and then destroy him. While spending the next few years teaming with Shylock, Saboteur created the persona of The Conspirator, framed Jack of Diamonds (among others, including his own partners in crime) for it, and split Outsider Domination apart, sparking arguably the most violent team war in the CPC. Saboteur reformed the Masked Assassins, but failed to lead them to victory over the Outlaw Fight Club, and left the CPC when they disbanded. However, like the chessmaster he is, Saboteur never stopped moving the pieces, preparing them for his shocking return in 2122. Saboteur at this point is a tag team specialist with Shylock, feuding with Penthouse Suite over their extortion of Colby.
Zed Marlowe: Zed was training to be a pro wrestler when Cordanus banned wrestling in 2109, but he joined the underground CPC movement as “Duckboy, the Lost AniMan”, showing how desperate he was to get into the business. When the CPC returned to the public spotlight in 2112, Zed stood up to Colby and ditched Duckboy. For his insubordination, Magnus Colby sends Bishop Hell to punish Zed. That rivalry draws the attention of Exo-King, who takes Zed under his wing, and begins treating him like a son, molding him into a superstar, albeit one with an ego problem.
Angst: Once a wrecking machine known as Raze, Angst began suffering panic attacks that crippled his wrestling capabilities. Desperate to continue his career, Angst joined Colby’s underground CPC where he joined forces with Cassandra’s Army. After a year if trying to cope with his emotional problems and team with Mace, Angst joined Talisman in the True Way, a move many thought to be a horrible mistake. It took nearly five years, but Talisman finally reached Raze, and unleashed him on his old ally Mace. Mechanics note: Angst’s panic attacks are represented similar to Chaos’ waxing and waning Alpha Power, with bolded entries on the card that represent a downgrade whenever he’s under the influence of a panic attack.
Indigo: The color-shifting alien from Mizar, and a true believe of the True Way, was brought to the CPC by Talisman after his conversion at the True Way temple. At first, Indigo seemed like a mindless lacky for Talisman, but as Talisman moved more and more off the deep end, and away from the True Way’s message according to Indigo, Indigo cut ties. At this point in his career, Indigo is largely a tag team wrestler with Talisman.
Gordo: The loveable ring crew good ol’ boy who got pushed too far, Gordo isn’t a top caliber star, but he’s a popular undercard guy, who is proven to be easily manipulated. After losing his temper with Dynamo in an underground show in 2111, Gordo makes his debut and is in the middle of this feud when the CPC returns to public viewing in 2112. Gordo later develops a crush on future CPC co-owner Michiko Ishida, and is manipulated into joining her Brains and Brawn team. Despite his unwavering loyalty, Gordo isn’t much help against Penthouse Suite, and winds up drawn into The Collector’s Russian Dynasty, though he’s recently seen a return to familiar form in POW.
Major Updates:
Jack of Diamonds: Jack showed a lot of potential for several years in the GWF, but ultimately seemed lost in the shuffle. During the CPC’s Underground years, Jack emerged as the closest thing to a Star Warrior-like hero the CPC has seen. A constant contender to the CPC title, Jack was consistently among the very best at this point, until outside distractions began to take their toll on his career. Moving under the veil of secrecy to help his almost-forgotten foster brother Gunnar, Jack allowed himself to be framed for posing as The Conspirator, and ultimately suspended when he refused to reveal his link to a crimelord, which would have threatened Gunnar’s secrets. Eventually exonerated, and left partial ownership of the CPC by departed board member Lim Dist naFon, Jack was thrust back into a position of prominence, even bringing The Fighting Titans to the CPC for a series of charity matches, a move that would provide him a tag team partner in his waning years. Jack of Diamonds, at this point, is an even match for the very best in the CPC, and better than most.
Raven: After years of serving as a Hero in the GWF, Raven took a much darker turn during the CPC’s Underground years. Forming a group called Species with Halcon Oro and Lycosa, Raven established himself as the dominant “heel”. Raven later recruited Savage Kingdom member Wildcat to the Dark Side, and even got Savage Kingdom founder Terak to abandon his principles as well. His deal with the devil (Dr. Barnabus) would be his eventual downfall, but Raven dominated the CPC for years in the post-Underground era.
Major Events of 2112
The CPC Goes Underground for two years, returns
Magnus Colby continued to operate the CPC under the veil of secrecy during the time wrestling was banned, quietly recruiting from disenfranchised stars whose home promotions were no longer active. This refusal to bow to the unpopular decision of Cordanus cost Magnus Colby a tremendous amount of money, but earned his company a ton of goodwill from the wrestling fans, and the fact that he could claim, for two years, to be the only major promotion in the galaxy gave him instant credibility upon wrestling’s reinstatement. Colossus was called back to the CPC when wrestling was banned, acting as captain of Penthouse Suite. Mace and Grunge arrived in the CPC in 2112, Mace joining Cassandra and Grunge allying with Phantasy, ending their bizarre tag team and sparking a new feud.
Talisman arrives, preaching the True Way
In the latest twist in a saga that began with the bizarre Pharaoh Khety, continued into a war with Mesmer, a battle against the Brymstonians, and a shocking disappearance, Talisman apparently found religion at the True Way commune and has brought that religion to the CPC. With fellow True Way follower Indigo in tow, Talisman recruits (of all people) Death’s Head and Erebus, hoping to bring them enlightenment and sparking the Genesis of arguably the most hated, but one of the most unique, teams in CPC history: The True Way.
2112 is more of a groundwork edition: Not terribly newsworthy in and of itself, but taking the elements of the patchwork roster from 2109, various story threads left over from the ban, and setting off the new direction for the edition that launched the CPC as a full-fledged, ongoing second fed in the CotG universe.

CPC Conspiracy 2113-4
With the groundwork in place from the Classics editions, CPC Conspiracy began the first major arc in the CPC saga. It was here that Mark Ashby’s creative voice began to be clearly exerted over the CPC, and its feel grew more and more separate from the GWF. The story’s name comes from the arrival of The Conspirator, a mysterious figure stalking Shylock, who was erroneously linked to a series of individuals throughout the CPC. This arc also raised the issue of financial difficulties stemming from operating at a loss during the Underground years, and saw the arrival of The Group of Seven, six investors that joined Colby in saving the CPC from financial ruin.
CPC Conspiracy 2113
Rookies: Four.
Xenia: Introduced by Shylock and Saboteur to combat Phantasy, Xenia is a powerhouse of a female wrestler from an MMA background like Shylock. Xenia made an immediate impact, being unusually powerful for a female star. She would wind up directionless for the next couple of years after her debut, since her team wound up in feuds with teams that didn’t have a female star, until Fata Morgana debuted in 2116, entirely to counter Xenia’s presence.
Mourn: Maleph joined the CPC in 2113, bringing the Brymstonian known as Mourn with him. Maleph stole The Lower World away from Talisman, and used Mourn to combat Angst when Talisman came seeking revenge. During his time in the CPC, Mourn never exhibited much of a personality, nor did he ever show a great deal of success. He never backed down from anyone Maleph sent him after, however, until budget cuts forced Magnus Colby to cut the entire Brymstonian team from the CPC.
Kulak: When Powerhouse retired in late 2112, Cassandra recruited Kulak from the Russian military to team with Hammer. Dubbing themselves ‘Pekhota’, Kulak and the newly rechristened Molotok jumped into the fire with a feud against The Penthouse Punks. Kulak and Molotok prove to be largely content with jumping from feud to feud as Mace directs them, until Kulak discovers that he and Xenia are distantly related…
Sentinel: Recruited in late 2112 by Exo-King to team with Zouave as The Protectorate, Sentinel is a huge masked rookie assigned to take on the Species tag team of Halcon Oro and Lycosa in a David versus Goliath feud. Sentinel is the catalyst for a feud with Outsider Domination when he is linked to The Conspirator, and shows his true colors when he is revealed to be in cahoots with the conspiracy formed by Saboteur. Sentinel fought beside Saboteur in the new Masked Assassins, but when the Assassins were forced to disband in 2118, Sentinel departed for parts unknown.
Notable Updates:
Wildcat: Wildcat turns his back on the Savage Kingdom and joins Raven’s Species group, taking on Zed Marlowe in 2113. Getting a singles run for the first time in years, Wildcat’s more aggressive turn garned some success, especially in the cruiserweight ranks, but Wildcat grew increasingly uncomfortable when Terak joined him on Raven’s squad, and they tried to force him back into tag action. Wildcat broke ranks with Species and waged war on Raven, but was soon left drifting in a team-filled company as a lone wolf. Budget cuts forced Wildcat out of the CPC before he could take advantage of a major shift in the company’s atmosphere.
Molotok: Not a true upgrade or downgrade, Molotok (Russian for ‘Hammer’) was the last name worn by the former Vlad Hammer. Taking elements of his Stormtrooper persona and reinventing himself one last time to team with Kulak, Molotok shifts his wrestling style to accommodate for his waning speed and turns it more towards a smash-mouth style.
Dynamo: Another aging veteran, this is a Dynamo that is nearing his twilight as well. Age is creeping up on him, giving Gordo an advantage in their feud. Wooed by Brainstorm and Michiko Ishida into joining Brains & Brawn and teaming with Gordo, Dynamo is unceremoniously booted when Mensar and Mike Fortune become available.
Mace: While Mace began his career as a tag specialist, he has spent the last few years in singles action. Even as age creeps up on him, Mace completes his reinvention into a singles wrestler. Mace, at this point, is also asserting himself as the dominant personality in Cassandra’s Army, steering the team from one feud to the next, picking fights with the Penthouse Suite and Phantasmagoria, until Talisman and the True Way turn their headgames Mace’s way.
Major Events of 2113
The CPC is in financial trouble!
Magnus Colby calls a press conference to announce that the CPC is in serious financial trouble, and that the company’s survival through the next year is 50/50, at best. Colby also announces a hiring freeze, though he doesn’t cut any contracts yet, largely out of loyalty to the men that stuck with him through the Underground Years.
Powerhouse injured, Bishop Hell retires
Bishop Hell officially ended his long, illustrious career in late 2112, after a final victory over Zed Marlowe. Hell punctuated his exit with a faux gesture of sportsmanship before berating his fallen opponent in the ring. Powerhouse, on the other hand, suffered a serious injury after slipping off the top rope, and announced his retirement from wrestling a month later.
Maleph rejoins “countrymen”, forms The Void
Maleph made his surprising arrival in the CPC, attacking Talisman and convincing Death’s Head and Erebus to rejoin him. Combined with newcomer Mourn, they for The Void, and wage war with Talisman’s True Way, which recovers from the defection by recruiting Angst.
Grunge in a downward spiral
Grunge cut ties with Phantasmagoria, and became more and more withdrawn, speaking with few people in the locker room and sometimes missing scheduled matches. Mechanics note: As has been done in GWF sets in the past, with stars such as Alpha Force in 2098, a mechanic is added where the promoter rolls before each of Grunge’s scheduled matches to see if he’ll show.
The Conspirator arrives!
Shortly after Magnus Colby confirms rumors about the company’s financial troubles that were leaked to the press by Shylock and Saboteur, a masked figure appears at a CPC show to torment Espionage. He, apparently, blew Saboteur’s cover by revealing his real name and home planet, and then revealed that Shylock was responsible for killing a young fighter name Tristan Gelb in an underground fight in 2103. Espionage targeted Magnus Colby as the prime suspect, though he completely denied any involvement. ________________________________________________________
CPC Conspiracy 2114
Rookies: Four.
Puma: Arriving in the CPC as a huge impact player, Puma’s presence gives Gila’s new Savage Kingdom immediate credibility as they begin a war with Species. Puma would prove to be a main event caliber star for the CPC, often competing for the CPC title, usually held by Raven. Puma spent several years as the star of the Savage Kingdom until the arrival of Dr. Barnabus and stunning revelations about Puma’s past…and future…
Stigma: A short, powerful cruiserweight fighter, and the latest recruit for Outsider Domination. Stigma is another former Outlaw Fight Club wrestler, who uses his mat-wrestling and submission skills to ground high-flying stars. Stigma sided with Shylock against Saboteur, held his own with Lycosa during the feud which disbanded the Masked Assassins. Stigma eagerly participated in the forerunner to the current MMA division in POW, the CPC’s Outlaw Fight Club, holding his own against much larger opponents like Shylock and The Dominator, as well as fellow cruiserweight Pendekar.
Thayne: A controversial, cocky and charismatic figure, Thayne arrived in the CPC with one of the oldest stories in the book: Boy meets girl, boy ticks off brother, boy joins wrestling company, brother follows and starts a blood feud. Thayne’s unconventional beliefs, clashing with the religious lifestyle of his girlfriend Gelasia’s family, sparked not only a CPC feud with Dar Gova, but also escalated the war on his planet…a situation that didn’t get any better when Thayne spirited her away and she gave birth to his twins. Rising hostilities forced Thayne to exit the company to care for his family, but Thayne has recently returned to a federation markedly different than the one he left.
Dar Gova: Brother of Gelasia and a powerful soldier from Alpha Lyrae, Dar Gova was recruited by Michiko Ishida and The Group of Seven when their feud proved to be a hit on the independent scene. Not content to wage a one-on-one war, Dar Gova repeatedly escalated the conflict, recruiting fellow soldier Ahnu and later Onami, who had been betrothed to his sister. Ultimately, Dar Gova was recalled to Alpha Lyrae to fight in the war raging out of control on that planet.
Notable Updates:
The Lower World: Maleph, showing some level of managerial skills for probably the first time in his career, molds Death’s Head and Erebus into tag specialists. While never the top team in the CPC, this new Lower World proved quite capable of upsetting any given team on any given day. In the most bizarre twist of all, the fans’ hatred of The Void’s enemies The True Way led to The Lower World being cheered for the first time in their careers! The Lower World ultimately departed in 2119 when it was revealed that Maleph wasn’t a Brymstonian after all, but a Fourth Realm demon, and was forced to return home. Death’s Head and Erebus packed it up shortly thereafter, ending a pair of the stranger careers in wrestling.
Talisman: Truly evolving into the whack-job leader of the True Way, a role that led to Angst being cured of his panic attacks and, ultimately, the alienation of Indigo. Talisman, at this point, is largely a tag team wrestler leading the group, a role he continues for the next few years until he makes another transition, into a very active manager.
Terak: Perhaps under pressure from Michiko Ishida, who was in the process of reevaluating CPC contracts, the once heroic, if somewhat unpopular, leader of the Savage Kingdom threw up his arms, disbanded the Savage Kingdom and joined Raven in Species, bringing Mollock with him. Terak’s “Kiss of Death” effect on his teams is almost immediate, as right out of the gate, Species fails to recruit Puma and Mollock often refuses to aid Terak’s men when called upon. To counter this, Terak brings a trained falcon named Walpurgis with him, who is less effective, but much more cooperative. Lycosa would abandon the team a year later, and Terak would alienate Wildcat after that. The final straw for Raven would be when Gila managed to sway Mollock back to the Savage Kingdom…a year later, Raven joined forces with Dr. Barnabas and Terak quickly departed the CPC, for fear of his safety. Mechanics note: Terak’s manager card has two interference charts on the back, rolled randomly before each match to determine whether he brings Mollock or Walpurgis to the ring with him.
Major Events of 2114:
The Group of Seven saves CPC from financial ruin!
Six investors, (Michiko Ishida, Olivia Swinden, Tiberius Prell, Frenc Kallo – The Collector, Wilhelm Weissmann and Lim Dist naFon) joined Magnus Colby in saving the CPC from ruin. Colby and Ishida are recognized as senior partners, with the other five as junior partners. Most matters tend to get put to a vote, and soon a voting bloc emerges with Swinden and Weissmann following Ishida’s lead, Prell and Kallo following Colby’s and naFon often the tie-breaker.
Kati, Grunge cut, others put on notice
Ishida moved quickly, eliminating Kati the Samoan Warrior and Grunge from the roster, and putting out word that several other wrestlers were in danger, including Holocaust, Halcon Oro, The Theatre of Pain and Terak. Many speculate that this threat was the deciding factor in Terak’s decision to abandon the Savage Kingdom and join Species.
Savage Kingdom disbanded, reborn
As mentioned above, Terak announced the dissolution of the Savage Kingdom, but Gila quickly stepped up and said it would live on. Gila, an undercard wrestler of little success, stepped up as the leader of the new Savage Kingdom, keeping Talon and Karah on board, and scoring a major coup with the recruitment of Puma, who proved to be an immediate challenge for Raven’s CPC title.
New Suspect in the Conspirator case!
During an altercation between Espionage, Zouave and Zed Marlowe, The Conspirator shockingly attacked Shylock! As Saboteur seemingly cornered The Conspirator, he was attacked by The Sentinel, fueling speculation that The Sentinel was The Conspirator! Though Sentinel denied this, Outsider Domination turned their sights on The King’s Court! Another bizarre piece in this puzzle came when Jack of Diamonds, who had begun behaving erratically and missing shows, disappeared midway through the annual Countdown to Destruction card…and The Conspirator struck again, this time attacking Shylock with some of Jack of Diamond’s signature moves, and leaving a Jack of Diamonds playing card on his chest!
Other news
Blizzard and Brainstorm arrive in the CPC, taking on anyone, especially cruiserweights. Paragon and Nora Pelf also begin fishing for contracts, but negotiations take some time to bear fruit. Mace, with his charming personality, draws Holocaust and The Troubleshooters into his team’s feud with Penthouse Suite, sparking a three-way war.

CPC Deception
CPC Deception features the payoff to the Conspirator storyline, revealing his identity and setting the stage for the team feuds over the next couple of years. The major power players in the Group of Seven have board room animosity spill out into the ring in the form of their feuding supergroups as well. For the first time in this story arc, CPC superstars are recruited by the GWF instead of the other way around, while some familiar faces show up in the CPC and a Sudden Death-like tournament begins that forces two teams to permanently disband.
CPC Deception 2115
Rookies: 3
Ahnu: Ahnu is a Jardill soldier and martial artist recruited by Dar Gova to help him humble the infidel Thayne, a cruiserweight who can do a better job of keeping up with Thayne’s high-flying. Ahnu stayed in the CPC, fighting The Agents of Change until the war on Alpha Lyrae forced him to return to his military duties, though he recently resurfaced in the new POW.
Viggo: A very likeable, charismatic big man, Viggo came to Thayne’s aid when Dar Gova and Ahnu thought they had him outnumbered. One of the strongest men to ever step foot in a CPC ring, Viggo often found himself battling smaller wrestlers like Ahnu, Talisman and T.K. When the Alpha Lyrae civil war exploded, Viggo left to be near his family in the wartime struggles.
Pendekar: The star of this year’s rookie class (though Viggo was actually a ten year vet before reaching the CPC), Pendekar was Shylock’s final recruit conditioned by his iron-clad contract, and he entered the CPC as Shylock’s partner against Saboteur and Sentinel. Pendekar is another former Outlaw Fight Club member, and one very resistant at submission, a trait which carries over into his pro wrestling. Pendekar spends a couple of years as a tag team wrestler, getting his feet wet, before honing his offensive repertoire and embarking on a singles career in the CPC. Mechanics note: Pendekar has a bold-faced PIN rating that is used for submission attempts, and never goes up, though tokens are still added for unsuccessful submission attempts, to be applied during pin attempts. Finisher ratings on submission finishers still apply to the bold-faced PIN as normal.
Notable Updates:
Brainstorm and Darla: Darla has been featured on Brainstorm’s playing card as a distractor in the past, but in 2115 she becomes the official women’s wrestler of Brains & Brawn. Darlas is quick, and surprisingly good for a valet-turned-wrestler, falling much closer on the scale of Ms. Liberty than Maxine Babe. Brainstorm becomes the leader of Michiko Ishida’s Brains & Brawn stable, with Gordo and Dynamo. He makes large strides in becoming a singles star, making a blood feud with Holocaust in the process when he “cripples” Holocaust, effectively removing his ability to channel his internal energy as he does with his SHOCKWAVE finisher.
Holocaust: Recovered from the damage done by Brainstorm, but lacking his energy-channeling abilities he had become known for his entire career, Holocaust is a markedly different person. Apparently using an illegal implant that provides an electric shock, Holocaust begins using a new finisher called POWER SURGE. He’s also unabashedly opposed to Brainstorm, seeking vengeance for the attack.
Talon: The product of a ton of potential combined with a great manager. Gila has worked with Talon for the past year, and he’s finally beginning to shine. Talon is still teaming with Karah, and is now much more likely to hold his own against his cousin Raven.
Major Events of 2115
The Conspirator Revealed!
Countdown to Destruction saw the Conspirator revealed, but not before unveiling his accomplices: Sentinel and Lycosa! As The Conspirator revealed his identity, he also revealed that he had been an actor playing as part…showing himself to be Darkos, The Head Assassin! His employer did not leave Shylock guessing, when his own partner Saboteur savagely turned on him and tried to cripple him, but not before unveiling the final member of the Conspiracy, former Ninja Assassin Daeman, who had been the “Jack of Diamonds Conspirator”. These five men formed the new Masked Assassins, and Outsider Domination added Pendekar and became the Outlaw Fight Club. Thus was born the most intense feud in the CPC.
Board room feud enters the ring.
Michiko Ishida formed Brains & Brawn, a stable consisting of Brainstorm, Gordo, Dynamo and Darla, and immediately set them loose on The Penthouse Suite (due to her tensions with Magnus Colby) and Phantasmagoria (due to her issues with Phantasy over who the ‘Alpha Female’ in the CPC is). Brains & Brawn’s early moves included an attack on Taurine and Brainstorm’s heinous assault on Holocaust that “fried the system” and removed his SHOCKWAVE. Further, Penthouse Suite exhibited cracks in its very foundation, as Taurine and Romulus began having fundamental disagreements over issues like whether or not The Punks should have saved Holocaust from Brainstorm.
The Mad Jesters, Paragon, Nora Pelf & Prodigy return to the CPC.
Several former CPC stars jumped ship from the GWF to the CPC in 2115, as The Mad Jesters form Painful Theatre and begin a feud with Theatre of Pain, Prodigy and GWF stalwart Enigma enter the CPC and make an immediate splash in the cruiserweight ranks, and the duo of Paragon & Nora Pelf arrive, sitting on the fences and biding their time.
Jack of Diamonds linked to crime lord, suspended from the CPC.
Just as Jack of Diamonds and Exo-King seemed to be burying their hatchet, and Jack appeared to be getting back on track, no longer missing shows, etc, Saboteur showed up after a show with video footage of Jack of Diamonds meeting a henchman of drug lord Edrick Narfos. Jack refused to explain his actions, and the CPC board of directors voted 6-1 (Lim Dist naFon dissenting) to suspend him. Jack passed a drug test, but the suspension stood and Exo-King disowned his son, replacing him on the team with Paragon. The biggest “hero” in the CPC was forced out under a dark cloud. _________________________________________________________
CPC Deception 2116
Rookies: 4
Fata Morgana: Morgana enters the CPC as the first female Assassin, and their answer to Xenia. Though giving up a huge power advantage to Xenia (like most females) Morgana is a very talented star capable of holding her own. Though Morgana, like any good Assassin, has her own secrets…
Onami: Gelasia’s betrothed, Onami enters the CPC to wage war on Thayne for liberating her from captivity where she was awaiting her marriage. One of the more gruesome visages to appear in the CPC on anyone that’s not from Brymstone, Onami’s looks are probably more intimidating than his skills.
Gunnar: Jack of Diamonds’ foster brother and the reason Jack’s been disappearing from CPC shows and skulking around with drug lords has arrived in the CPC to clear Jack’s name and help him fend off The King’s Court. A power brawler with a ton of raw potential, Gunnar’s rookie year is largely spent in tag team action with Jack of Diamonds against The King’s Court.
T.K.: Is he a rookie or isn’t he? T.K. debuts as Talisman’s mysterious new disciple, engaging in a feud with Mace while T.K. and Talisman drop a series of hints about his true identity. All the hints point to a former partner and rival of Mace’s…oh, wait, even that’s a big list…
Notable Updates:
Mike Fortune: Krakan’s former Hitman for Hire enters the CPC as part of Michiko Ishida’s expanded Brains & Brawn roster! Showing a marked improvement over his GWF days, Mike Fortune has evolved into a powerhouse capable of holding his own against the top CPC stars, including The Penthouse Suite’s Colossus.
Prince Zed: Zed Marlowe steps it up a notch, becoming the “son” that Exo-King lacks since disowning Jack. Not only does Zed add a new finisher, but he begins exhibiting the ability to surprise people with pinfalls out of nowhere, just when he appears to be beaten! Zed’s new attitude makes him really unpopular, but his ability goes a long way toward making him a top player. Mechanics note: Zed’s card has a mini-chart that allows Zed to reverse finishers and moves that would lead to a PIN situation with a small package or cradle, possibly stealing the match for Zed. The chart indicates what you need to roll to pull this off, depending on the intensity of the finisher. If Zed gets the move but its unsuccessful, both wrestlers add 1 to their PIN and Zed takes over on level 2 offense.
Romulus and Taurine: One of the teams that defined tag team wrestling in the CPC has split up, Romulus joining Brains & Brawn and Taurine staying with Penthouse Suite. Gordo and Prodigy join forces with Romulus and Taurine respectively, but it’s the rivalry between the former partners that is the definite focus of that tag feud. Though both men are still tag wrestlers, each man has taken more of a singles focus in their style, gaining new finishers and new moves.
Special Edition Cards for 2116:
Comedy: The Mad Jester joined forces with The Theatre of Pain, turning on his clone and kicking him out of the CPC. Under Jester’s tutelage, Comedy has taken his mentor’s influence to the extreme, even carrying a dummy like Jester used to carry, and using it in matches to spew a noxious mist at the opponents! Comedy still teams with Tragedy, but the joke’s on The Void, who become the first targets of Jester’s new squad, All the World’s a Stage.
Splatter: Probably the last guy anyone expected to see show up in the CPC, and in the most unlikely role: Manager! Splatter has been working in the CPC for the last couple of months as the head of security, but has taken over the leadership reigns of the Outlaw Fight Club in their war against the Masked Assassins, a group Splatter knows a thing or two about! Splatter has also brought a variant of the lumberjack match to the CPC, known as the Arsenal Match. Mechanics note: Splatter’s card features the playing chart for the Arsenal Match, a lumberjack match in which each of the four wrestlers carries a weapon they are free to use on the participants.
Major Events of 2116
Colby, Ishida agree to feud-ending tournament, expand their rosters.
Michiko Ishida challenged Magnus Colby to a two-year tournament ala the Megatournament, with the stipulation being that the losing teams would be forced to disband! Ishida had joined forces with Darkos and Saboteur, an alliance that forced Colby to bury the hatchet with Shylock. Ishida’s Brains & Brawn dropped Dynamo, but added former Penthouse Suite member Romulus, as well as Mike Fortune, Mensar and “advisor” Cordanus! Colby rehired former Penthouse Suite members Prodigy and Paragon, as well as his ex-wife Nora Pelf to counter Darla! The Masked Assassins recruited Fata Morgana to battle Xenia, but the Outlaw Fight Club unveiled their new manager: Splatter! The war is on!
Gunnar clears Jack of Diamonds’ name.
Gunnar, the foster brother of Jack of Diamonds, cleared Jack’s name after revealing that Jack had only been dealing with Edrick Narfos to protect Gunnar. Once Gunnar’s story was confirmed, Jack of Diamonds was promptly reinstated to the CPC, and Gunnar joined him as Exo-King declared war on his estranged sons, sending Prince Zed and Zouave to do battle.
Gila begins making overtures to Mollock.
Gila, focused on reaching Mollock and drawing him back to the Savage Kingdom, began extending every effort to his animalistic friend, infuriating Terak. Terak responded by refusing to bring Mollock to ringside whenever Species is facing The Savage Kingdom, but Gila hasn’t given up hope.
The Troubleshooters jump ship!
Muss, The Bomb and Phantasy were apparently approached by recruiters for the GWF and violated their CPC contracts to sign GWF deals, leaving Holocaust high and dry! Holocaust wasn’t lonely for long, as Magnus Colby recruited him for the Penthouse Suite to continue his feud with Brainstorm, while Phantasy and The Troubleshooters make a splash in the GWF. Note: New cards for Phantasy, Muss and The Bomb can be found in GWF Revelations 2116.
Gelasia escapes confinement, Thayne reveals new ally!
Gelasia was imprisoned by her people so she could be forced into marriage with Onami, but was secretly freed from her captors! Thayne and Viggo were the prime suspects, but each had the perfect alibi: They didn’t do it! The culprit: None other than the color-shifting Indigo! Indigo used his chameleon-like abilities to sneak into Gelasia’s prison and free her, turning his back on Talisman’s unique branch of the True Way and joining Thayne and Viggo in their war with Onami, Ahnu and Dar Gova.
Other Comings and Goings: In addition to the new cards mentioned above, Mensar and Cordanus join the CPC, Phantasy and The Troubleshooters jump to the GWF, while Dynamo and the Mad Jester clone depart. _________________________________________________________
CPC Deception 2117
Rookies: 6
Dante: A major signing coup for The Mad Jester and the CPC, Dante Santangelo is a soccer star-turned actor-turned pro wrestler, recruited to join All the World’s a Stage and team with Comedy. Dante has two finishers, HEAVEN and HELL, and when he has the opponent set up, he lets them choose with a thumbs up or a thumbs down. Dante’s built in fanbase has the net effect of pulling fans away from The Void and to his team, after years of The Void being fan favorites in the CPC. Mechanics note: When HEAVEN OR HELL? is rolled, roll one die. On 1-3, Dante hits HEAVEN (+1), on 4-5, he hits HELL (+3) and on a 6 he attempts HELL but misses.
Desdemona: A mysterious, serpent-like female AniMan who joined Species after Wildcat’s departure from the team, Desdemona is bizarre and creepy, seemingly exhibiting no personality of her own. Desdemona is savage in the ring, sometimes refusing to relinquish her BITE MARKS finisher, getting disqualified. Mechanics note: When Desdemona uses BITE MARKS, roll both dice. On doubles she refuses to relinquish the hold and is disqualified.
Excalibur: Disheartened by the family feud between Exo-King and Jack of Diamonds, Zouave the Conqueror departed for parts unknown. Exo-King looked high and low for his replacement, and a loyal, powerful new compliment to Prince Zed in Excalibur. Excalibur’s primary responsibility is to battle Gunnar head-to-head.
J.J. Smooth: The son of Group of Seven member Olivia Swinden, J.J. Smooth is kind of overweight and kind of uncoordinated. Appearing as a Mama’s Boy, thanks mostly to being managed by her, Smooth is a joke among CPC fans, not even mastering a finisher. Luckily (or unluckily) for him, his parental connections plus a knack for being in the right place in the right time keep him in the thick of things.
Vidtek: No one suspects the cameraman! Vidtek has been part of the camera crew for two years, and training with The Mad Jester for the last year of that. Vidtek debuted with a splash, serving an instrumental role in the overhauling of All the World’s a Stage, attacking Tragedy with his video camera. Vidtek is a young stud with some unique flavor to his arsenal, making up for his lack of experience. He sometimes does an “Instant Replay” of a move, hitting a more devastating version of the move he just did, and his EXTREME CLOSEUP is a running clothesline with a flat camera attached to his arm that overrides the CPC’s video screen and shows the opponent being hit head on.
Willow: Gila’s masterstroke. Willow is the only female wrestler in the CPC more powerful than Xenia, and she’s a female member of Mollock’s species. Gila brought Willow in to both counter Desdemona and to sway Mollock away from Terak, a move that worked, further exemplifying that managing is definitely his calling.
Notable Updates:
Blizzard: After years of languishing in the CPC undercard, Blizzard steps up his game! When The Dominator is injured by The Masked Assassins and Blizzard is approached by the OFC for membership, he becomes a target for the Assassins, a move that ultimately convinces him to join the OFC! Blizzard is the top singles man for the OFC during the second year of the OFC vs Assassins MegaTournament, doing battle with Daeman.
Raze: After years of following Talisman around while Talisman claimed to be helping him, Angst has regained control of his panic attacks! Apparently Talisman really WAS helping him, and Raze is reborn in the True Way! A great weapon to have around when you have done everything in your power to tick off Mace…
Special Edition Cards for 2117
Franco Jesterelli: Could this guy get any stranger? The Mad Jester has now morphed into a bogously Italian movie director! He’s new persona heralded the signing of Dante in the CPC, as well as the betrayal of Tragedy, the revelation that Vidtek is a trained wrestler working for him and, most shockingly, that Comedy isn’t the Comedy we thought he was: But that he’s really been the Mad Jester Clone for the past year! To top it off, Jesterelli constantly has video rolling during his men’s matches, and if they lose, he will often try to contest it with video evidence. Mechanics note: If one of Jesterelli’s men loses a match, roll one die. On an even number, Jesterelli has nothing to contest the decision with, but on an odd number, he presents video evidence to the referee showing why his man should not have lost. Roll on his card to see the outcome of the attempt to change the ruling.
Gila w/Mollock: Gila’s plan is a success! He’s swayed Mollock back to his side, using Willow to do so! Gila is virtually retired as a wrestler by this point, and even when he does wrestle, his finisher involves Mollock chokeslamming the opponent to put them down for him. Mechanics note: Terak can no longer use the Mollock interference chart on his card.
Major Events of 2117
The Dominator seriously injured, replaced on the OFC squad
Slipping behind in the tournament against the OFC, the Masked Assassins took matters into their own hands and shattered The Dominator’s leg, removing him from the CPC and perhaps wrestling indefinitely. Though Dominator swears he will be back, this still put the OFC down a man, so they scrambled for a replacement. They approached Blizzard who refused initially, but the OFC’s interest made him a target, and the Assassins kept attacking him until he decided to fight back, with the OFC’s full backing!
Wildcat, Mollock leaves Species; Desdemona and Willow join the fray
Feeling like Raven and Terak didn’t support him while he fought Puma, Wildcat quit Species in a huff, leaving them down a man. Desdemona joined, attacking and biting Karah in a tag match, but Gila quickly responded by recruiting Willow, which had the exciting effect of convincing Mollock to leave Species as well!
Talisman proclaims T.K. to be Grunge, Man claiming to be Grunge says otherwise!
In one of the more bizarre stories coming out of the CPC this year (and that’s saying a lot, considering the other news of the year) Talisman has revealed that T.K. is former CPC star Grunge, last seen sinking into a drug-addled depression! This revelation was targeted at Mace, who seemed unfazed by it…but a couple of months later the whole thing took a bizarre turn when Magnus Colby produced a man named Thad Kollian who claimed to be Grunge as well! As Colby announced an investigation on behalf of the Group of Seven, Kollian as well as Talisman and T.K. stood firm on their claims!
Jester’s Extreme Makeover
The Mad Jester overhauled his image into that of Franco Jesterelli, Italian director. If that weren’t strange enough, he had a cameraman that he had been training for the last year (Vidtek) brutally attack Tragedy. He also signed soccer sensation turned leading man Dante onto his team…and revealed that Comedy was, in fact, his clone that everyone thought he had run out of the CPC last year! The amazing thing is that this radical shift in direction began turning the CPC fans against Jesterelli’s rivals in The Void, getting them booed for the first time in years!
Thayne’s a daddy!
Thayne announced that Gelasia had given birth to twins, a girl Shinara and a boy Varon. Thayne’s people announced that this now protected Gelasia under their law, and that they would refuse to return her to the Jardiil…which only cause tensions between the two people to move closer to a breaking point.
Major Shakeups in the Group of Seven!
Using the financial backing of her partner Cordanus, Michiko Ishida officially announced buyout proceedings against Magnus Colby, trying to remove him from the company he built! Ishida made several concessions to the Group of Seven partners, attempting to sway them to vote in her favor…but on the eve of the vote that would have confirmed the buyout, Lim Dist naFon was brutally murdered. This ground proceedings to a halt, and at Countdown to Destruction, naFon’s recorded will was played in which he revealed that he had been killed by a henchman of Edrick Narfos due to dealings that had gone bad, and that he had bequeathed his position in the Group of Seven, plus most of his holdings, to Jack of Diamonds! naFon explained that Jack of Diamonds had, in his time in the company, shown himself to be the most trustworthy person naFon could think of…and this placed Jack firmly in the middle of the Colby-Ishida tug of war, as naFon’s holdings were more than enough to help either partner buy out the other if Jack so chose!
Karah Missing!
In the final shocking story of the year, during a match featuring the Hunters of Prey versus The Lower World, Karah lost control and began acting savage and almost apelike! When Death’s Head got control of him and slammed him, Karah froze up and began frothing at the mouth, requiring paramedics to rush him off…however, Gila failed to keep pace with the ambulance, and when he arrived at the hospital, they claimed no one from the wrestling show had arrived. No one could identify the ambulance or the paramedics and the last words out of Karah’s mouth were really quite chilling…”It’s begun.”
Other comings and goings:
Cassandra and Zouave retired from the CPC, Cassandra planning to open a women’s only wrestling school while Zouave had lost all desire to continue competing at all. After All the World’s a Stage turned on him, Tragedy also announced his departure from the CPC, not eager to seek revenge on Jester’s squad. Of course Karah, having gone missing, is no longer active in the CPC this year.

aCe: 2119: BATTLE FOR CENTRA GAME EDITION OVERVIEW
Written by Eric Konecne
I hit a creative bump in my playing the GWF fed and nearly quit playing because of it. I needed something else; I needed a new fix to give me some refreshment. I’d heard of this new spin off federation starting up called Adversaries for Centra’s Essence, or aCe for short. I enjoyed what I’d read about it and figured “what the heck, it’s worth a try,” and then as soon as I set up my fed and began playing and sharing ideas with other promoters, things were booming and the creative juices came back once again. This isn’t any ordinary federation, like another GWF, this was something totally new and exciting, a different monster that was created by a new scientist; enter Kris Osk.
aCe creator Kris Osk first burst onto the COTG scene when he helped write the smash hit novel COTG: Genesis, a book detailing the early going in the GWF predating the 2087 stuff we first came to know. From there he took it a step further and later came out with the thrilling sci-fi trilogy that is the aCe: Battle For Centra. This set is amazing, not only in story arc and drama, but game card mechanics never before seen. Certain properties work for or against the wrestler, depending on which race they are fighting. For example: Shepard’s Anti-Virus roll is normal vs. anything but an IPU (infected with the plague) wrestler and also his Turnbuckle Tabernacle is normal but is a PIN vs. IPU. The list goes on and on, but this is just the beginning of the awesome mechanics that you will see on the cards.
The Battle for Centra storyline picks up where the GWF left off in Dimension Y. Local Centrans, some that are wrestlers and some were wrestlers that stayed behind from the GWF when they left for Dimension K, are faced with a grueling uprising of evil as the undead monster Murdok and the evil serpent Godsend join forces to try and overthrow the dimension and control it for themselves. The opposing side sees GWF heroes Lance At-Las and Aegis band together with the likes of Shepard the Vagabond Priest and the local coal miner named Scorch. Neither side is alone as the ancient clan of warriors with vast technological skills is there, aptly the Ravagers, led by Nicodemus. Don’t forget about the natives from nearby Primus, which are brought to war to defend their land by the Heathen Chief Paganax along with General Rankor, Krypt and Jakyll.
There has to be something in it for everyone or it wouldn’t be much fun now would it? That’s right, there is something more at stake than just homeland boundaries and total control--it’s called power, or in this case, the power is called Essence. Essence is a rare element that when in it’s purest form gives the holder higher powers above the others, and everyone seeks the power of the element whether they realize it or not. Essence is what drives the emotions of desire and competition and can only be found in the aCe’s dimension of Y. Not included in the set, but should be able to be purchased on the side are the Ruins of Antilia and the Lava Pit matches to help add some flavor to feuds and other matches. I would strongly recommend them, especially when the Ravagers take on the Tribesmen of Primus, because things will turn ugly in a hurry in a good sense.
So as the lines are drawn and the sides are set, everyone on the 4 teams is set to do battle. Murdok is trying a siege to the fed by infecting people with the plague to make them his mindless zombie slaves while Godsend is building up his powers to become an unstoppable demon. All the while, the forces of good are banding together to put a stop to this and carry on with their lives in a peaceful manner, but it isn’t happening anytime soon. So with that, let the war wage and the blood spill and let’s take a look into the very cruel and unusual world that Kris Osk has set up for us in the aCe: Battle for Centra’s characters.
RAMPARTS OF CENTRA (R.O.C.)
AEGIS
Height: 6’3” Weight: 260 lbs.
Home: Centra Prime
Finisher: RAMPARTS REVENGE (top rope somersault head butt)
Tag Team: Heroes United (with Lance At-Las)
Losing his wife Trisis to the plague is the worst possible thing that could have happened to him, and now he’s not only fighting for Centra, but his wife’s life against the bastardly Murdok and the Tribesmen of Primus. Aegis is the leader of the team and leads with an iron fist.
LANCE AT-LAS
Height: 6’1/2” Weight: 252 lbs.
Home: Mars
FINISHER: MARS MANHANDLER (a running and jumping piledriver)
Tag Team: Heroes United (with Aegis)
Lance was one of the GWF stars that stayed behind to help create a wrestling federation for Centra and has befriended Aegis in the process. He is a Centra Prime army member that is now helping to defend his home. In the story, Lance loses his best friend Meteor to the plague virus and is vowing vengeance against the perpetrators.
SHEPARD
Height: 6’3” Weight: 245 lbs.
Home: parts unknown
FINISHER: EXORCISM (a top rope elbow drop to the heart with his arms in a cross position)
Tag Team: The Specialists (with Scorch)
Shepard is a monster hunter with quite an enigma about him. His demon slaying skills will be put to the test with his team against Murdok’s Crusade as he utilizes moves like his Anti-Virus, Turnbuckle Tabernacle and Silver Bullet. No one knows much about the mysterious masked man, but no one is really asking too many questions when he’s kicking zombie butt.
SCORCH
Height: 6’2” Weight: 260 lbs.
Home: Centra Prime
FINISHER: TRAIL BLAZER (a punch to the face with a coal miner’s glove loaded with a piece of Mt. Ragnarok)
TAG FINISHER: SPECIAL FORCES (Scorch’s partner rests on one knee in the center of the ring as Scorch climbs the top turnbuckle and leaps off, catching the opponent in a flying bulldog straight to his partner’s knee!)
Tag Team: The Specialists (with Shepard)
This rough and tough miner is ready to throw down with anyone willing to go against the ROC’s beliefs. He has a vast knowledge of Primus, which is extra useful when fighting against the Tribesmen of Primus. He’ll use his Burning Fury reverse Death Valley Driver and Flailing Flood press with punches to help keep them down as well.
ROUSER
Height: 5’8” Weight: 149 lbs.
Home: Centra Prime
FINISHER: XENOPHOBIA (a smash from the wooden stick attached to hi “God Bless the ROC” sign)
Rouser is scared of this invasion but the little guy will stand by his alliance and fight the good fight. This little patriot isn’t much in the ring, but can be dangerous with his Elbow Missile Shot, which has been known to cut up a few foreheads and lead to a blast from his sign.
RAVAGER ARMY
NICODEMUS
Height: 6’5” Weight: 274 lbs.
Home: Ravager Mothership
FINISHER: NUCLEAR WINTER (a cannonball senton bomb from the top rope onto the opponent)
He’s the ancient leader of this Ravager race and holder of their technological secrets. When he hits his NUCLEAR WINTER finisher, he releases a small surge of nuclear energy that pulses thru the downed opponent and makes it extra harmful, but not so potent against IPU’s. Nicodemus is also out to protect the sacred powers of the essence that is being sought after by the federation.
VENTROSS
Height: 6’8” Weight: 398 lbs.
Home: Ravager Mothership
FINISHER:SEVERED TIES (with opponent on shoulders, he dives off the turnbuckle and drops his foe throat first across the top rope)
Tag Team: Mass Destruction (with Warfare)
Ventross is a fierce, loyal and yet honorable member of the Ravagers who stands by his race and ready to defend them at a moment’s notice. His former partner Rankor became a traitor when he turned on him to fight with the Tribesmen of Primus. Ventross pledges that he will bring that snake Rankor to justice with his bare hands.
WARFARE
Height: 6’9” Weight: 404 lbs.
Home: Centra Prime
FINISHER: THE BIG PAYBACK (release German suplex into the turnbuckle)
Tag Teams: Mass Destruction (with Ventross)
S.W.A.T. Team (with Flatliner)
The quiet killer has found a friend in Ventross and renewed his friendship with his buddy Flatliner. This big man will definitely add some muscle to the roster as he’s doing double duty in 2 tag teams. Beware of his Warfare Driver Slam, something that is a body slam that drives his opponent’s head into the mat.
FLATLINER
Height: 6’2” Weight: 266 lbs.
Home: Centra Prime
FINISHER: SHOCK AND AWE (he grabs the opponent by the throat with both hands while his Flatliner armor delivers a shocking blast)
Tag Team: S.W.A.T. Team (with Warfare)
He used to be named Trench and was a tag team with Warfare in the GWF, but now he’s been suited with some dangerous Flatliner armor designed by the Ravagers. This armor enhances his image and his abilities, just what he needed to find a home with the Ravager Army. However, with his new armor there are also drawbacks. Not only will it inflict serious damage to his opponents, but it will also affect him as well.
NEMEAN
Height: 6’1” Weight: 239 lbs.
Home: Ravager Mothership
FINISHER: HUNGER STRIKE (a leaping spin kick from a crouching position)
He’s an eager up and coming wrestler who likes to emulate his idols that he’s seen in the wrestling rings. He takes moves like the At-Las World Beater, Meteor Strike, and Painmaster’s Rack that these established stars have used and puts them into his repertoire, just like he did with his finisher HUNGER STRIKE. He feels like he never got his shot at the big time in the CWF and that the aCe is now his time to shine. The others think he’s just playing around and don’t take him seriously, but will he emerge as a star? Time will tell.
TRIBESMEN OF PRIMUS
PAGANAX
Height: 6’10” Weight: 420 lbs.
Home: Primus
FINISHER: PAGAN VOID (a gorilla press slam toss to where he then hits his opponent with a Diamond Cutter)
One of the deadliest beasts that the galaxy has ever seen is here. Paganax is the Heathen Chief that is a worshipped warrior by his people. He has the ability to grow stronger by absorbing the punishment dealt to his fellow tribe members that are wrestling on the same card. For every 3 tokens his teammates receive, he can reduce his PIN rating by 1 (note: yet another ingenious game mechanic mentioned earlier that Kris Osk implements). Leading the pack into war is nothing new to Paganax, and he won’t care if he himself has to shed some blood just to create carnage and suffrage.
GENERAL RANKOR
Height: 6’4” Weight: 284 lbs.
Home: Ravager Mothership
FINISHER: GUILTY OF TREASON (an aimed toss where the opponent’s head gets caught between the first and second ropes)
Rankor stabbed his dearest friend and former tag team partner Ventross in the back when he left and joined the vile Tribesmen of Primus. His underhanded tactics have led him to the position of spokesperson for the Tribe and is also on an agenda to use his greed and lust to capture the Essence in any way shape or form.
JAKYLL
Height: 6’0” Weight: 231 lbs.
Home: Primus
FINISHER: KILLER INSTINCT (a springboard frankensteiner)
Tag Team: Darkness Falls (with Krypt)
KRYPT
Height: 6’3” Weight: 248 lbs.
Home: Primus
FINISHER: KILLER INSTINCT (a springboard frankensteiner)
Tag Team: Darkness Falls (with Jakyll)
TAG FINISHER: RED DAWN (Krypt slashes opponent across chest to draw blood, then stands below the turnbuckle as Jakyll stands on his shoulders and comes off with a splattering splash onto the downed opponent)
One of thousands of “Jakyll” and “Krypt” types on Primus, these two are the toughest to represent their respective work groups. Their types roam the bloody fields after battles and collect fallen soldiers. In the ring they are just as ruthless when the use Hit ‘Em High (cross body block) and Hit ‘Em Low (chop block to back of knees) in sync to punish their opponents. They are mindless freaks out to serve the need of their master and don’t care how they have to do it as long as they get it done in hopes for some affection or attention from the Heathen Chief.
GROVEL
Height: 6’1” Weight: 244 lbs.
Home: Antilia
FINISHER: none
He was an undercard wrestler in the GWF and is now brought back with a chance to fight again. He is much like Rouser in the sense that he doesn’t bring much to the team, but is there for to help aid in the survival of his own race. While he boasts no finisher, he does have some harsh moves that could aid him in winning a match like Face Smothering, a Falling Head Ram and a Repeated Throat Driver.
MURDOK’S CRUSADE
MURDOK
Height: 6’1” Weight: 244 lbs.
Home: Antilia
FINISHERS: POWER OF THE PLAGUE ( a big clothesline)
CENTRA TAKEOVER (cross arm breaker submission)
Tag Team: Holy Crusaders (with Godsend)
Dubbed the “harvester of the plague,” this undead monster that has been resurrected from hundreds of years of morbid slumber is waging his Holy War against Dimension Y in efforts to collect the Essence and claim total dominance. The ancient faces have resurfaced now to shed some light on the messiah’s dark past. His “plague” was created thru his mummified body and was reanimated through the manipulation of an ancient virus that is only known as its name, “the plague.” He infected Aegis’ wife Trisis with it and is now in for a fight because of it.
GODSEND
Height: 6’4” Weight: 262 lbs.
Home: Fourth Realm
FINISHER: THE REALM ETERNAL (face-first mat slam)
Tag Team Holy Crusaders (with Murdok)
He was one of the exiled demons that rebelled against his banishment from Dimension Y, but he became unaccounted for and escaped thru the fiery gates of agony and doom. With bigger plans in store, for the time being he aligned himself with the evil Murdok to help him further his ascent that could possibly become an even more powerful demon force than he currently is. Godsend will stop at nothing to get what he wants, and the Essence is only a small part of what he seeks, a small piece to his bigger puzzle.
COPORAL TEK
Height: 6’0” Weight: 269 lbs.
Home: Antilia
FINISHER: CORPORAL PUNISHMENT (shoulder-mounted suplex)
Tag Team: Resurrection (with Cremator)
Tek is another being that was infected by the plague and is now brought into Murdok’s horde. He is very loyal to Murkok and acts as co-commander of the Plague forces. Murdok has given him a tag team partner in Cremator and ordered them to obtain the tag-team titles to gain more power from within.
CREMATOR
Height: 6’2”
Weight: 262 lbs.
Home: Antilia
FINISHER: CREMATION CLAW (mandible claw)
TAG FINISHER: RUINS OF ANTILIA (back body drop into a powerbomb)
Tag Team: Resurrection (with Corporal Tek)
Cremator is pretty much just a mindless soldier that has no emotions or will to do anything but fight. He does what he’s told and that’s all that matters. Pretty much what it amounts to is a slave of captivity to help Murdok achieve his success at any costs.
NOXIOUS
Height: 5’10” Weight: 224 lbs.
Home: Antilia
FINISHER: OUTBREAK (series of brutal headbutts to opponent’s face)
Lance At-Las’ best friend was captured by Murdok’s army and overexposed to the Plague. He died, but his body has since risen from the grave and seeks to destroy any who oppose the forces of Antilia. He is the perfect weapon to combat the ROC since Lance doesn’t want to fight his best friend if at all possible, whereas Noxious is affected and has no feeling for Lance and could care less if he destroys his once best friend.
TRISIS
Height: 5’5” Weight: Unknown
Home: Centra
A victim of the plague, the wife of Aegis has become a pawn in the big scheme of things for Murdok. She now acts as the queen of his undead armies and is perhaps the most vicious and feared individual in the aCe?!? Trisis may also attack any opponent that she is at ringside with, but would she attack her own husband when fighting against the Army?!?
SPECIAL NOTES ON THE ESSENCE
*When a character is crowned aCe Champion, he gains extra strength by increasing his power and agility ratings by 1. This only applies when the champion is defending the title.
*Same rule applies to the Tag Team titles only if both tag team members are involved in a title defense.
SPECIAL NOTES ON THE aCe
The aCe officiating committee is led by the four current team captains as they have unanimously agreed to establish the four “cornerstone” rules of the aCe:
1. A wrestler cannot be DQ’d for using a finishing move. 2. No weapons are allowed inside the ring during a match 3. Physical enhancements are allowed as long as they are deemed a “natural ability.” 4. A contest is decided using CWF “standard rules,” meaning pins, submissions, count out and DQ.
TEASERS FOR aCe: 2120
Will Aegis be able to pry Trisis from Murdok’s sickly grip? Can the Ravager Army quell the fury of the Tribes of Primus without using military force? What does Godsend really have up his sleeve? Tune in to find out in aCe 2120: REINFORCEMENT!

aCe 2120: REINFORCEMENT GAME EDITION OVERVIEW
written by Eric Konecne
Following on the heels of the Battle For Centra introduction set comes this riveting new edition adding to the lore called aCe 2120: REINFORCMENT. This set is a very key piece of the universe that shapes the federation to what it really will become later on, and produced some of my favorite COTG characters out of any era—ever!
The storylines and characters come to life and are very detailed with the same intriguing card mechanics from Kris Osk that we came to know and love in the first set. The writing gets much better in this set (it was great in the first set, but gets even better here) and things are more fleshed out and dynamic, something you just have to read to see what is meant, it’s just amazing.
Things are beginning to spin out of control in the dimension and all sides are ramping things up in order to get that edge they need to get a stronghold on the Essence in this war. Murdok is adding troops to his side and has hired the spiritual assassin Gheist who ends up in an interesting 3 way feud with another newcomer in the street regulator named Hustler, the leader of the Blue Steel gang. The ROC are on the move to find them a new man to add to the team and find it in upstart Aspin Northstar, much to the disdain of Scorch who finds him still “wet behind the ears” and untested. The Ravagers make a bold move and go and transform a beast from Primus into a technological monster and add him to their camp and call this misfit Hybrid.
General Rankor manages to get Flatliner to join his side, but at what cost to Trench’s body, and how? It definitely helps turn the tide, but the Ravagers seek out to find a counter part and do so in Holocaust.
Many more compelling angles are going on as you read the booklet as well such as the battle between Vallah, the Keeper of the Realms and his foe Maramus in which we see a life taken, but whom? Battle of good vs. evil rages on when we see the descent of the heavenly body Exodus to help balance the cosmic equilibrium. Godsend makes a satanic sacrifice in yet another step to his evolution of a major demon. Corporal Tek is kidnapped by the ROC and taken away. Later it’s shown that an experiment used with Shepard’s Anti-Virus and Ravager technology that helps cure Tek of the plague and give him his life back as the warrior Tekaro as he joins up with the Ravager team.
A host of more characters introduced here with some being old ones from GWF and some new like the devious Pain Master and his slinky sidekick, the sick and twisted Sycophant the Deviant who join up with the Crusade. The brash and cocky prince from the Family Rose enters the fray as Avarice isn’t in it for the fight, but to obtain the ultimate prize in the Essence. Avarice is and will forever be one of my all-time favorite characters in the COTG universe. He’s got the fighting skills and swagger mixed in with the pompous attitude, good looks and poise of a prince that makes everyone want to smash him in the face.
So much drama and excitement in here in aCe 2120 that it can’t all be explained here, but I strongly recommend that if you got the first set before this, that you pick this one up as well to add to your aCe fed or use the guys as stand alones in a GWF or POW fed if you have one. The wars between Hustler and Gheist, Paganax vs. Hybrid and many others is just waiting for you…go ahead, don’t wait, do it now.
The factions are about the same, but have grown as some people have come in and others have left. There’s 7 people to each side and the blood will spill. The only difference in teams is the name from the Tribesmen of Primus changes to Planet Primus. Here’s the rundown of the new characters in this set:
RAMPARTS OF CENTRA (ROC):
EXODUS
Height: 6’1” Weight: 259 lbs.
Home: First Realm
FINISHER: WRATH OF GOD (toss opponent into ropes, bound off the other side and hi flipping missile dropkick)
Formerly named Atman, he came down from the first Realm after a death to a wrestler. He’s here to do battle with Godsend and to try and keep the demon from getting any more powerful by not letting him win the Essence.
HUSTLER
Height: 6’1” Weight: 231 lbs.
Home: Centraopolis, Centra Prime
FINISHER: PISTOL WHIP (series of smashes to the head with the butt of his gun)
With his home city under siege from the monsters and demons, this street gang leader came forward to help out the ROC rid the streets of them. A truly unique and brutal set of moves on his card like Curb Jaw, where the opponent’s open mouth placed on bottom turnbuckle, followed by a kick to the head! He’s more interested in a fight than he is with winning.
