Without giving away the name, there is one really cool story I want to tell about a signing.
Me and Cman after the ROH show on Friday night were in the bar at the LAX Hilton when suddenly in comes Adam Pearce- as you know he books ROH.
I saw Adam Pearce order a beer and I knew he'd be there for at least the next few minutes. So I went up to my room to grab my Adam Pearce card for him to sign. On my way back down, I got in the elevator and suddenly before the door closed someone else jumped in the elevator- a wrestler who I knew from talking to Tournament Master that Filsinger Games really wanted in the game. But it was nearly 1:00 A.M and I didn't have the release forms or any cards except Adam Pearce with me, so I really thought I just missed out on a great opportunity for a possible signing.
But then the next day-Saturday, I got on the elevator going down to the lobby and once again this very same wrestler jumped onto the elevator too with me. What are the odds?
But this time I had everything I needed with me and after I talked to him about it he said yes to signing while in the elevator. But then the cards I was showing him slipped out of my hands right as the elevator stopped at the lobby. I was afraid he would take off as I picked up my cards. But instead he held the elevator doors open for me as I picked up my cards and then gladly signed up! He also wrote his address down too because he's eager to see his card once it gets released. How cool is that?
I'll tell you who this "elevator signing" is once Filsinger Games announces the news.

It was a blast hanging with cman, vegas and toasterboy this weekend. Lemme tell you all like you didnt allready know... they busted their buts working on signing all weekend. I have no clue who they got, but I'm gonna just give it a guess and say they signed every single worker there, 4 who weren't even in attendence and 2 future wrestlers that aren't even born yet.
The one thing they missed the boat on tho was signing the guy who did the guest ring announcing job for the Liger/Generico match.

Well, nice job guys. I am sure whoever you signed will be welcome additions to my LOW fed. I would be legitimately excited about getting Rikishi/Fatu, Bret Hart, Bruno Sammartino, Ron Simmons, Stan Hansen, Muta or Super Crazy.
Plus there were some excellent indy guys there.

We got a bunch of cards signed at WrestleReunion and I got some dupes signed which are now up on my trading page (see sig). It was a great amount of fun.

Some of my favorite stories from this past weekend...
RVD upon seeing his two Legends Cards, "I love this art! Are these stickers?"
ME: No they are for the card game, Legends of Wrestling.
RVD: Oh. (He signs them both.) These would make great stickers. (He turns to his wife.) Don't you think these would make great stickers?
SONYA: Yeah.
RVD: Man. I wish these were stickers.
---
ME: Hi, could I get you to sign this?
TYLER BLACK: Sure. Hey, this is that game. (He flips it over) What does all this mean?
ME: Those are your stats.
TYLER BLACK: Yeah, but what does it mean? I have a -2 agility. What's that mean?
ME: Means you're pretty fast. Not the fastest, but better than most.
TYLER BLACK: Oh. But my cage rating is 0! That sucks!
ME: No, actually you can't get much better than that.
TYLER BLACK: Oh. Cool.

MASKED SUPERSTAR: (Looks at his card) What is this?
ME: It's the card game, Legends of Wrestling.
MASKED SUPERSTAR: Oh yeah. How's that game going? Still around?
ME: Oh yeah, we just got Andre the Giant.
MS: Really?
ME: Yeah and Big John Studd as...um...
MR. VEGAS: Masked Superstar II.
MS: Great. Andre huh? He was amazing. A fan just sent me a link to match I had with Andre on YouTube and I was rewatching it and it was really great. He was something special.
ME: Yeah I saw him wrestle once and I loved it.
MS: Yeah, but you saw him at the tail end of his career. He was amazing when he was younger, doing dropkicks and stuff. Search YouTube for that match. You'll love it.

Thought some of you might like those stories.

I enjoyed reading that, Toasterboy. I was just thinking that some wrestlers just might enquire about their stats and possibly argue it's wrong or something.
