There's been a lot of discussion and opinion on what COTGonline "Game Pack" should be released next.

What it's come down to is the WarGames and the Classics Era.

Well, it's been decided that WarGames will get the full treatment as the next Online release.

IN ADDITION...

Larry has volunteered his time to install the Classics Era game editions...AS WELL AS...the current POW characters into the Stat Tracker, Play by Play Simulator, and make them available as printable PDFs!

Let me be clear in saying that these versions of the Classics and POW will NOT be colored OR featured in the Game Table for the time being, but we feel that at least getting these key characters and game editions into the Stat Tracker should keep both sides of the fence happy, as well as provide more 'jump-on points' for established and new COTG players.

As mentioned, WarGames will be implemented in the same way the Invasion Pack was...fully, that is.


There is no scheduled release date for either Game Pack, but WarGames will be released in 2008 and Larry has stated that both the Classics Pack and POW Pack will be ready for purchase by the end of this summer.


Thanks to the efforts of Mark and Mike M, Larry is willing to get this done for them and the community. All of their efforts, as well as those who voiced their opinions on the next game release, are seriously appreciated.

That brings up a question-with P.O.W coming online will it be wrestling only-MMA & wrestling, or MMA only? just wondering!

Kris answered on another board that POW in the sim will be just wrestling for now, as the backbone of the sim would have to be reworked to get it to work with MMA.

I'm sure they'll get to it eventually. It's a growing market.

This is, indeed, great news, and I'm happy to see that everyone will, to one extent or another, get what he or she "most wants."

Larry (BDS) is clearly going above and beyond the call of duty here--just another reminder what a class act he is, and how much he's given (and continues to give) to the CotG fanbase.
