GUNRYO
GUNRYO, meaning war in Japanese, is an independent wrestling promotion based out of Philadelphia, PA. GUNRYO, as you can assume by the name and location, runs much like CHIKARA. Note: When I say GUNRYO runs like CHIKARA, I really mean it runs like CHIKARA. If you are familiar with CHIKARA, you know how everything works. However, if you have no clue, I'll explain the details. GUNRYO has about two shows a month, back to back, somewhere in Pennsylvania, with a quirky name for each card.
GUNRYO has two titles at the moment, the Koubousen Championship and the Campeonatos de Parejas. The first month of action (two shows) will be to crown the Koubousen Champion, and the second month (two shows) will be to crown the Campeonatos de Parejas. The Campeonatos de Parejas will have the three-point system like CHIKARA. I don't see a third title making its way into GUNRYO at this time.
GUNRYO will have four tournaments throughout the year: El Torneo Poco, Trios EXPLOSIVO, G2/T2 Prix, and La LoterĂa Letal. El Torneo Poco is a small singles tournament for a shot at the Koubousen Championship, Trios EXPLOSIVO is a three-man tag tournament, G2/T2 Prix is a tag team tournament for a shot at the Campeonatos de Parejas, and La LoterĂa Letal is a random teaming tag tournament.

Sweet concept! You're going to disappoint some audiences with only 4 matches per card, though

Sweet concept! You're going to disappoint some audiences with only 4 matches per card, though Well, it'll end up being about six matches the first night, seven the second. I have to finish the tournament. I just wanted to showcase the starting lineups for the Torneo Poco. So, I think six matches is pretty good per card. Thanks for stoppin' in, Knapik.
