The show opens with the tune, "O Fortuna" presented by the Bowling Green State University Orchestra. DAYTONDAVE and WARLORD emerge through the curtain to the cheers of the crowd. Warlord listens to the anthem as it is played, then strolls to the orchestra pit and takes a michrophone.Warlord (
singing): O Fortuna... velut luna... statu variabilis... semper crescis... aut decrescis... vita destabilis
Daytondave: Wait- what? You know Latin?
Warlord: Nunc obdurat... et tunc curat... ludo mentis aciem... egestatem... potestatem... dissolvit ut glaciem.
Daytondave: Wow! Hey, Warlord- who sings that?
Warlord: It was originally performed at the Frankfurt Opera by
CARL ORFF.Daytondave: Let's keep it that way. Fans- bad opera singing is NOT why we came to Bowling Green tonight. We're here to wrestle! And nobody wrestles like the superstars of CHIKARA- especially the
CHIKARA Grand Champion DELIRIOUS! The champion will be defending his title in tonight's Main Event against
JOCK SAMSON! And that's not all, fans- we have a ton of great action lined up tonight in our final broadcast before the
2017 Tournament of Champions. We're gonna rock Northwest Ohio tonight, fans- so relax, grab yourself a cold one, and enjoy the show!
THE DOLL HOUSE (MIA YIM & MARTI BELLE) defeated THE BEAUTIFUL PEOPLE (VELVET SKY & MADISON RAYNE****)It was a tightly fought match, but the Dolls looked crisp tonight. Marti and Mia executed several double-teams, and when Mia plastered Madison with a Spinning Seoul Kick, the Beautiful People were in trouble. Mia nailed a second kick on Madison, putting Madison down to the mat. Mia went for the cover, but Velvet jumped into the ring to save her partner. Marti was quick to hit the ring, and Marti obliterated Velvet with a roaring forearm smash. Mia went to the top rope, but Madison staggered to her feet and attempted to intercept Mia on the turnbuckle. After a short struggle, Mia prevailed and sent Madison crashing to the mat with a knee to the gut. Mia came off the top with a beautiful flying bodypress and picked up the three count.
Daytondave: The Doll House get back on the winning track.
ANGELUS LAYNE pinned CHERRY BOMB*Two spirited ladies put on a skilled bout, proving to be evenly matched. After several minutes of reversals and struggles, Angelus caught Cherry charging the turnbuckle and drilled Cherry with a knee smash. Angelus wasted no time in delivering the Victory Lane for the finish.
Warlord: Great move by the big girl!
Daytondave: A lot of people might consider that to have been an upset. Regardless, Angelus picks up the win tonight and that allows her to move forward in title competition.
N-R-G (HYPE ROCKWELL** & RACE JAXON) defeated TEAM F.I.S.T. (ICARUS & GRAN AKUMA*)The tag match was highly competitive, as the youth and spunk of N-R-G gave them the advantage for the opening moments. The veterans counterattacked, but Rockwell alertly dodged an attempted double-team and the F.I.S.T. members collided! Akuma took the worst of the blow, and Jaxon jumped in to help his partner to deliver a combination Superkick and Hyperwheel to Akuma! Rockwell held off Icarus as Jaxon made the cover for the win!
Daytondave: An exciting win for N-R-G! That's two points for these young guys as they strive to earn another title shot against the Campeonatos. All right, fans- the ongoing animosity between
THE CANADIAN NINJAS and
THE KILLER DEATH MACHINES took a strange turn earlier this week when
PORTIA PEREZ, in a fit of anger, challenged
JESSICKA HAVOK to a Grudge Match!
Warlord: I hope Portia has good insurance.
Daytondave: True- or else
TROY XAVIER had better have something special up his sleeve to rescue Portia from her own indiscretion.
GRUDGE MATCH: NO DISQUALIFICATION
JESSICKA HAVOK* pinned PORTIA PEREZ* (w/TROY XAVIER)Portia came out with fire in her eyes, but her attempts to take down Jessicka were fruitless. Jessicka withstood a series of kicks and chokeholds from Portia, before finally trapping Portia in the corner and punishing the smaller Canadian with heavy punches and forearms. Portia tried to escape, but Jessicka caught Portia and slammed her with a vicious Buckle Bomb! Portia went down hard, and Jessicka made the cover. Troy prepared to interrupt the count, but thought better of it as Big Jim The Enforcer counted the pin.
Portia appeared to be shaken up after the defeat, requiring the assistance of Heartland trainers to return to the locker room, holding her neck as she departed.Warlord: Jessicka got all of that one!
Daytondave: Without a doubt. Challenging Jessicka Havok was not one of Portia's better ideas. All right, fans- it's time now for
"Sweet Talk"!The scene shifts to the set of "Sweet Talk", where LARRY SWEENEY stands alongside KIMBER LEE & JESSIE MCKAY. Jessie and Kimber are smiling and giggling as usual, but Sweeney is brooding and intense as he stalks across the stage.Sweeney: All right, people- pipe down. It's a big night here in CHIKARA and there is work to be done. Let's talk about the indies, where action is on fire all over the country. First things first-

Vegas Championship Wrestling. Kudos to
CHEERLEADER MELISSA for successfully defending the
VCW Ladies' Championship in a match that may have been the last victory in her illustrious career. Next week at
2017 Tournament of Champions, my girl Kimber is going to end Melissa. Like forever. The
Filsinger Cup Ladies' Championship is coming to Sweet 'N Kimber Incorporated!

THE COLONY and
TEAM F.I.S.T. are going at it again for all the glory!
GREEN ANT & FIRE ANT are flying high as the
CHIKARA Campeonatos de Parejas, and it has been a rough go for
ICARUS & GRAN AKUMA of late. But the Filsinger Cup is the perfect opportunity for Team F.I.S.T. to turn things around- will they be able to get it done, or will those pesky Ants add another accolade to their collection?

Filsinger Cup Ladies' Tag Team Championship may be the sleeper match of the night.
THE CANADIAN NINJAS have all the momentum, but they have been the center of controversy in recent months. First, it was the unholy alliance with
TROY XAVIER- and now it is a blood feud with
THE KILLER DEATH MACHINES. Now, Portia and Nicole have to pull their collective act together and battle for the cup against the resurgent team of
SARA DEL REY & COURTNEY RUSH! That's a tall order for the Ninjas, without a doubt.

Sweeney: And last- but certainly not least- we come to the Filsinger Cup Trios Championship. Come on out, boys.
The crowd boos as Sweeney is joined on the set by PINKIE SANCHEZ & ADAM PEARCE. Sweeney: You got it, baby! Tonight the band is back together- the trio of Sweet 'N Kimber, Incorporated is gonna roll through 3.OLE and head to the Tournament of Champions to wrestle for the Cup!
THE BATIRI have already qualified for next week's championship match, but those ugly weirdos won't stand a chance against me and my Incorporation. Bring it in, fellas!
Pearce and Sanchez put their hands out and join with Sweeney in a team huddle. Sweeney quietly begins talking strategy, and Kimber walks to the camera and directs the cameraman to shut it down.Daytondave: Not the usual conclusion to
"Sweet Talk", but it is not a usual night tonight. Sweeney and his crew glossed over their match-up tonight, but it is gonna be a tough road ahead to get past the team of 3.Ole.
2017 INDEPENDENT TAG TEAM LEAGUE
THE BATIRI (3-4) vs. THE BRAVADO BROTHERS (5-2)The fans had barely returned to their seats when disaster struck the Bravados! Lancelot Bravado strutted and preened for the crowd, then tried to surprise Kodama with a running clothesline into the turnbuckle. But Kodama was wise to the ploy, and quickly sidestepped the charging Lancelot. Lancelot smacked into the turnbuckle, and Kodama rolled him up for the flash pin!
WINNERS: THE BATIRIWarlord: What just happened? Lancelot tried to outsmart Kazansky, but he didn't get it done.
Daytondave: That's Kodama, dude. And that's a costly defeat for the Bravado Brothers- the door is still open for any number of teams to pull even as we head to the final block of the Tag Team League! Let's take a look at the standings at the end of block 9:
Daytondave: Unbelievable. In the possible clinching match for the CHIKARA Division, the Bravados laid an egg. It's anybody's Division now. All right, fans- we have one more spot in the Filsinger Cup Finals to be decided- and it's in the Trios Division! You've heard all about it from
LARRY SWEENEY- and now it's time to get it on!
FILSINGER CUP QUALIFYING MATCH: TRIOS DIVISION
3.OLE (SCOTT PARKER*, SHANE MATTHEWS*, & EL GENERICO**) defeated SWEET 'N KIMBER, INC. (LARRY SWEENEY***, ADAM PEARCE******, & PINKIE SANCHEZ**)A tremendous battle in the Trios final! The match went over 30 minutes, with suspense from bell to bell. Sweeney and his men kept the pace slow for the early stages of the contest, grinding down the 3.Ole team. A couple of botched double-team attempts by Sweet 'N Kimber kept the door open for 3.Ole to counter-attack. Near the 15-minute mark of the match, Matthews caught Sweeney in the Boston Crab! and Sweeney was nearly incapacitated! Just as Sweeney was on the verge of tapping out, Pearce made the save and the match continued. Generico took a beating from Pearce, but escaped the ring to prevent himself from tasting defeat. 3.Ole rallied, and isolated Pearce for a long period of time. Matthews caught Pearce in the Boston Crab! and it was a lengthy struggle before Pearce could make it to the bottom rope. Pearce escaped and slid out of the ring, but Generico blasted Pearce with a Yakuza kick on the arena floor! Generico rolled Pearce back into the ring, where Parker was waiting to execute the 3.0 Lung Blower for the pin!
Daytondave: What a terrific match! That was a titanic struggle if I ever saw one. Congratulations to 3.Ole for a big win and the change to face

Daytondave: Perhaps- but it was a Match of the Year candidate and Sweet 'N Kimber has nothing to be ashamed of. And now- fans- the
CHIKARA Grand Championship!MAIN EVENT: CHIKARA GRAND CHAMPIONSHIP
JOCK SAMSON defeated DELIRIOUS (c) by disqualificationThe action between Delirious and Samson was fast and furious! Delirious rushed Samson from the opening bell, but the big hillbilly would not be intimidated. Jock gave Delirious a wallop with an overhand right, then delivered a Jock Kick which sent Delirious tumbling out of the ring. Delirious challenged Samson to come fight on the arena floor, and Samson was happy to oblige. The brawl quickly raged out of control, and Delirious pulled a sound cable from under the ring and wrapped it around Samson's neck! The referee issued a five-count, but Delirious was unrelenting and the referee was forced to call for the bell.
DELIRIOUS RETAINS THE CHIKARA GRAND CHAMPIONSHIPAfter the decision, it took several referees from backstage to pull Delirious off of Samson. It took Samson a few moments to regain his bearings, but when Jock got to his feet, he came after Delirious in a rage! The referees quickly got the men separated, and Delirious was escorted back to the locker room.Daytondave: Wow! That was one intense title match! I am surprised at the level of aggression between those two- and there will be a rematch ahead. Delirious keeps his title, but when these two hook up again, it will be a barnburner!
